'Lucky to be alive': (WHITE) University City man attacked by two worthless black parasite predators while walking to work   UNIVERSITY CITY, MO. - A University City man said he's lucky to be alive after two people attacked and beat him on his way into work. University Police have one suspect in custody. On Sunday, the victim talked about the attempted robbery and support from his community during recovery. An everyday walk to work near the Delmar Loop turned to tragedy for Jimmy Muckle. But despite the scare, he's turned his focus to the future. "Definitely lucky to be alive," Muckle said. The typical day turned into a near-death experience for Jimmy Muckle. "[I was] listening to music in my headphones, playing with my phone, not paying attention, and out of nowhere knocked to the ground and kind of bludgeoned my face area," Muckle had to undergo surgery for more than 4 hours. The incident happened in broad daylight before a couple in the neighborhood ran the suspects off. "Multiple fractures in the jaw area, broken nose, and because of the broken nose they had to do the [tracheotomy] during the surgery," he said. Police said they did catch one of the suspects in the attack. Justin Hood, 19, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault. At least one more suspect is still out there. Police hope public can help solve (White) Oakland man’s murder - dragged to death by an AFRICAN-AMERICAN POI POS  OAKLAND – Oakland police are hoping the public can help assist in solving a homicide. According to the Oakland Police Department, David Deporis, 40, was murdered on Aug 9 around 12:35 p.m. Police responded to the 400 block of Rich Street to a report of a man being dragged from a vehicle after being robbed, officers said. Police said during the robbery, there was a struggle between Deporis and the suspect, which led to him being dragged by the suspect vehicle. Deporis died of traumatic injuries. Oakland police describe the person of interest as an African American male, between the ages of 25-30, and is 6’0″ tall. He was believed to be wearing sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and dark colored sweatpants. The suspect was driving a red mid-sized Audi, 4-door, sports utility vehicle. The Oakland Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to a $15,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. - (Black-on-white) |

      A story about an African-American male who allegedly murdered multiple white men after once saying he wanted to “kill all white people” is being completely ignored by the liberal media. Fredrick Demond Scott, a 22-year-old black male, has been charged this week with the murder of Steven Gibbons and John Palmer, two middle-aged white males. Gibbons was reportedly found dead on August 14 of this year and Gibbons was killed in Aug. 2016. Scott is also a suspect in three other killings of white men. Blood spatter in apartment lead police to identify BLACK teen suspect accused of killing (WHITE) Katylynn Cargill with hammer  Texas police have released more information on the 16-year-old that has been arrested in connection with the death of 14-year-old Kaytlynn Cargill, whose body was found in a landfill. Police have identified a suspect, Jordin Roache, and alleged that he murdered Cargill with a hammer, bludgeoning her to death. The murder allegedly took place inside of an apartment near Cargill’s home and authorities indicate that the two were involved in a drug deal, with the 14-year-old meeting Roache to get $300 he owed her as part of a marijuana transaction. Investigators found blood splatter inside of the apartment Roache was staying in, which belonged to his girlfriend and her mother. Police said a forensic biologist found blood everywhere, on a door frame, the bathtub and on a patio ledge. The warrant also notes that authorities found the alleged murder weapon inside of the home.  Terrifying footage showing a 17-year-old girl being violently dragged inside her house during a daytime home-invasion was published online this week. Video from the incident captured by a surveillance camera shows an African-American male violently shoving the teenager into her southern California home as she carries her small dog in her hands. According to the teenager's sister,after pushing the girl into the house and falling on top of her, the man then pulled out a hatchet and held it to her face. 'He grabbed a mask and pulled it down in front of his face,' Nicole said. 'They had a hatchet to her face when they had her in a headlock.' Riverside authorities said the incident occurred around 2.00pm on Saturday at the 8400 block of Syracuse Street, located in the Orangecrest neighborhood. The victim explains that she was outside walking her dog around her neighborhood when a woman approached her and started making small talk. But as the teenager starts to head back home, the unidentified woman and another man begin to follow her. Moments later, another man, dressed in a neon safety vest can be seen entering the home. The girl's mother said the thieves were able to steal about $5,000 in cash and jewelry from the home. 'We were going to buy my daughter a new car.' - (Black-on-white) |
Detroit man charged in murder of chef Authorities have charged a Detroit man in the death of a catering company's owner who had been missing for a month. The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office has charged Travun Eugen-Jani Baskerville, 26, with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Douglas Jeffrey Calhoun, or "Chef Doug" as he was known, officials said in a statement. Baskerville has also been charged with human trafficking, they said. Baskerville was arraigned Friday before 36th District Court Magistrate Bari Blake Woods. The probable cause conference is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 15 and the preliminary examination is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Sept. 22. Both hearings are before Judge Lydia Nance Adams in 36th District Court, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said in a statement. |

BLACK Indiana man with stupid black name 'Tosumba' accused of beating infant after skull appeared like a 'cracked eggshell,'  An Indiana man was arrested Saturday after he was accused of beating his newborn daughter for months to make her stop crying, causing her skull to appear like a “cracked eggshell,” police said. Tosumba Welch, 19, of Linton, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and neglect of a dependent, FOX59 reported. Police began investigating Welch after his 9-month-old daughter was airlifted to the hospital on Wednesday unresponsive and suffering from seizures. Doctors described the baby’s skull appearing like a “cracked eggshell” when tests showed multiple skull fractures. She suffered from several brain bleeds because of the blunt force to her head. “The worst of the bleeds was to the back of her skull, where there was one on each side of her head along with swelling in the same areas,” police said in a release. The infant also suffered “non-accidental injuries” on her collarbone and a fractured ankle most likely caused by an intentional "jerk and yank," WISH-TV reported. Welch later admitted to police he would squeeze his daughter and punch her in the head since she was 4 or 5 months old. He allegedly would punch the baby in the head to make her stop crying. The girl is recovering in the hospital. |

(Frazzle-headed) BLACK Fayetteville Man Accused Of Rape FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayetteville man is accused of raping a woman inside a car while they were parked on North Meadowlands Drive. Darion Simon, 22, was arrested Thursday (Aug. 31) in connection with rape, a Class Y felony. The victim, a 19-year-old woman, told police Simon forced himself on her while the two were parked outside his home around 1 a.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 29). She told police Simon overpowered her and continued the intercourse despite her pleas for him to stop. Simon also told police that the victim told him to stop before and during the intercourse. He added that he didn’t climax “because my mood was killed.” Simon, who also goes by Don Don, was being held Friday (Sept. 1) on a $25,000 bond at the Washington County Detention Center. |

Police identify black beast who shot 1-year-old baby in Brooklyn  Police identified a 19-year-old man on Thursday as the gunman who shot a 1-year-old boy two weeks ago while trying to gun down a rival in Brooklyn. Lyemel Summerville wounded the baby when he opened fire on a street in Brownsville on Aug. 19, police alleged. He was aiming for a 20-year-old man and struck him in the leg with one bullet that passed through and grazed the baby, police said. The wounded man was taken to Brookdale Hospital, while the baby was treated at Kings County Medical Center. Neither was seriously injured. Police were searching for Summerville Thursday night and said he was about 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds. |

Police have arrested a wanted 80-year-old man who the state prison system believes is “dangerous and possibly armed.” Calvin Smith, of Leander Place NE, in East Canton also was a wanted sex offender on parole. Canton police arrested him on two theft warrants and a warrant charging him with failure to notify authorities of his change of address. He is a wanted fugitive labeled a violator-at-large. He was released from prison in July after serving time for felony drug possession. The records direct anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to avoid him and instead call 911. He is a sex offender who served seven years in prison after he was convicted of raping a child. |

In a statement Thursday, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office says Najuquan Ross beat Natalise Gunter June 15 after she refused to eat dinner. Prosecutors say the child's mother, 20-year-old Lucy Gunter, returned home from work to find the child with scratches to her face and a tooth missing. Gunter waited three days to call 911. On June 18, Natalise was rushed to the hospital unresponsive, and she died later that day. |

MEXICAN Man wanted in sex assault of 3 minors caught in Mexico A Mexican man who allegedly assaulted three underage girls and fled the U.S. was taken into custody on Tuesday, according to the FBI. Hugo Sanchez, 42, was arrested by Mexican law enforcement officials in Acapulco. According to the FBI and local media, Sanchez sexually assaulted three young sisters in Chicago from June 2001 to August 2003. Sanchez was charged with 88 counts of sex crimes and initially detained on no bond. After he was given a bond of $50,000, he failed to appear for any more hearings and fled to Mexico, the Tribune reported. |

NYPD cops say down-on-his-luck MMA fighter Sergio Dasilva scored more than $45,000 at an Astoria Citibank during a brazen daytime heist last month. Dasilva, 31, was nabbed at his home less than one block away from the bank early Thursday. The 31-year-old MMA veteran — sometimes called “The Savage” — made some not-so-slick moves during the stickup, police said. (BLACK) Man pleads guilty to 2016 Kozy Inn homicide (of White man)  COLUMBUS — A Columbus man has been sentenced to 18 years to life in prison for shooting and killing a man at a south Columbus motel last year. In the early morning hours of Aug. 27, 2016, Columbus Police responded to a report of a shooting at the Kozy Inn on the 3900 block of South High Street. When officers arrived, they found Mark Horne, 38, unresponsive from a gunshot wound. Horne was pronounced dead on the scene. Police identified Monteria Watkins, 32, as the suspect in the murder. Investigators said that Watkins had gone to Horne’s motel room and an altercation ensued. The altercation ended when Watkins shot and killed Horne. Watkins fled the scene and was taken into custody by SWAT officers on Aug. 29, 2016. According to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office, Watkins pleaded guilty to the murder of Mark Horne on Aug. 31, 2017. Watkins was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison. - (Black-on-white) |

Roland Peter, 47, was arrested while allegedly preparing a dish in his kitchen with the man’s liver and intestines. He is said to be a member of a gang who kidnapped and killed the victim in Nigeria. Police Commissioner Zaki Ahmed said: “The Command arrested Roland Peter, a member of a notorious gang that kidnapped Pastor Samuel Okpara from Edoha. “They kidnapped, killed and beheaded the victim and used his liver and intestines for pepper-soup and plantain portage. “He was arrested while preparing the meal for his gang.” Peter is also accused of keeping rifles used by the gang, led by “one Justus, but popularly known as High Tension,” reports Punch. Peter denied the murder and cannibal allegations, claiming he was arrested for illegal possession of firearms. It is the second cannibal horror bombshell to rock Africa in a week.

BLACK BEAST Felon dragged his stepgranddaughter into the woods, raped her, deputies say A convicted felon is accused of dragging his unclothed stepgranddaughter into the woods in the middle of the night and raping her, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Darrell Mills, 50, is facing a number of charges, including sexual battery on a child under 12 and kidnapping a child younger than the age of 13. The 11-year-old girl’s disappearance led to a massive manhunt Sunday in the Apopka area and the issuance of an Amber Alert. A citizen saw the suspect and girl and flagged down a deputy, ending the eight-hour search. “I want to thank the community for [coming] together to help find her but most of all I want to thank the police officer[s] who [were] out there helping to find my baby,” said the girl’s father, who the Orlando Sentinel is not naming to protect the victim’s identity. |

BLACK POS does not deserve 'life' in prison - shot two White women to dead during back robbery     Newly released court papers give a graphic account of what unfolded inside a Conway CresCom bank branch on Monday when two female employees were killed. Authorities say a suspect shot and killed Kathryn “Katie” Davis Skeen, 36, of Green Sea and Donna Major, 59, of Conway during the robbery before fleeing the scene in one of the victim’s vehicles. Brandon Michael Council — the man accused in a deadly bank robbery — was arrested following a brief foot pursuit by police Wednesday afternoon after being spotted by someone near a Red Lobster in Greenville, N.C. Once he was captured, he allegedly admitted to police that he shot the bank employees, according to an affidavit. The documents go on to say, “he knew he was going to hurt somebody that day.” He told agents he had watched the movie “Get Rich or Die Trying,” and also stated “he did not deserve to live.” The day of the robbery and murders, Council allegedly went into the bank just after 1:10 p.m., had a brief conversation with a female bank teller, pulled a gun on her, and then shot her multiple times, the documents state. He then jumped over the bank counter, according to the affidavit, and is allegedly seen discovering another female teller hiding beneath a desk. Video surveillance then allegedly shows him shooting the second female multiple times as she tries to hide under the desk, the document states, and also says he was seen jumping over the counter multiple times during the incident. - (Black-on-white) |

They stalked Black Friday murder victim ‘like people stalk a deer,’ prosecutor says    FORT WORTH A jury took about an hour Thursday to sentence a man to life in prison for tying up a popular Fort Worth assistant store manager on Black Friday in 2014, beating and killing her, then burning the body. Ashlea Ann Harris was murdered Nov. 28, 2014, by Clarence David Mallory, 22, and his co-defendant, Carter Carol Cervantes, 28. Cervantes also received a sentence of life without parole at a separate trial in May 2016. “Imagine the horror,” said Kevin Rousseau, Tarrant County prosecutor, during closing arguments Thursday. “Someone is probably sitting on you while someone else is taping up your hands and then your ankles. “They slash her throat and then, when she is finally dead, they set her place on fire. There are a lot of people at her apartment complex, which says a lot about the defendants in this case.” Police said they believe Mallory and Cervantez killed Harris so they could steal her keys to the American Eagle Outfitters store at the mall, to get in later and steal the store’s cash the day after Thanksgiving, popularly known as Black Friday. Harris, 31, was an assistant store manager at the store. Cervantez was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in May of last year after taking the stand and blaming the murder on Mallory. Black jiggabooger (suspect) arrested for fatally stabbing (White) man in front of wife   A teen suspected of fatally stabbing a Brooklyn man in front of the victim’s wife two weeks ago was arrested on Thursday — just blocks from the crime scene. Gary Correa, 19, had been on the run from police, but seems to have been hiding in plain sight. He was caught a short stroll from where George Carroll, 42, was knifed outside McGolrick Park in Greenpoint on Aug. 18, cops say. Police officers arrested Correa, who lives in the nearby Bushwick Houses, as he was walking. Carroll, a 42-year-old actor, was with his wife, Christina Romero Carroll, 41, walking to their home on Monitor Street when Correa allegedly stabbed him. 3rd BLACK suspect in custody for fatal shooting (of White man) at Hilltop Inn  A third person is in custody in connection to the August 12 shooting death of man at a Jackson motel. Darrius D. Thomas was captured by U.S. Marshals Friday morning. Thomas, 26, Quantineahia Webster, 23, and Cedric Mitchell, 16, are charged with capital murder. Webster was arrested on Monday. Mitchell surrendered at Jackson Police Dept. HQ on Wednesday. David Paul Peden, 57, was found unresponsive at the Hilltop Inn and Suites and pronounced dead at the scene. Peden suffered a gunshot wound to the head and another to the upper torso. He was Jackson's 35th homicide for 2017. - (Black-on-white) |

David Justin Houston-Harvey, 23, of Jacksonville, is in custody in Lonoke County and faces charges of Abuse of a Corpse and Tampering with Physical Evidence. He is held without bond and will appear in court Friday, August 25. The remains, which were found submerged in a suitcase in Lake Pickthorne, are identified as Laramie Cline, 23, of Ozark, Alabama. Memphis Police Department arrested Chris Spencer, 35, and Jonathan Williams, 33. Both are charged with aggravated robbery. Investigators said Spencer, Williams, and a third unknown suspect robbed two teens around 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The teens said the men pointed a gun at them, made them lay on the ground, and then stole an iPhone, seven pairs of jeans, and seven belts. The teens were not injured. |

Police arrest 38-year-old (BLACK) DC woman accused of throwing urine on a bus driver - DIS-GUSTING - NOT CIVILIZED  WASHINGTON — Metro Transit Police have arrested a woman who allegedly urinated in a cup on the back of a bus and then hurled the urine on the bus driver before running away at a bus stop in Northeast D.C. Opal L. Brown, 38, of Southeast DC was arrested Wednesday, according to Metro Transit police. According to Metro, the incident happened around 6:14 p.m. Saturday. Metro says Brown urinated in the cup while other passengers were nearby. In surveillance video, she is later seen standing near the front of the bus waiting to get off. When the bus stops at a stop on Minnesota Avenue, NE, the woman turns and throws the urine on the driver before running away headed southwest on the same street. |

Autopsy shows (mentally 'unhealthy' black) pregnant woman shot by Seattle police was hit 7 times  SEATTLE - A recently-released autopsy report shows Seattle police officers shot Charleena Lyles seven times and that the woman was 14 to 15 weeks pregnant when she died in June. Police say the officers fired when Lyles lunged at one of them with one or two knives. Lyles had a history of mental health problems that appeared to get worse in the 18 months before her death. Lyles had been ordered by a Seattle Mental Health Court judge to not possess weapons just weeks before the shooting. Family hopes to cash in with a lawsuit. |

Police Arrest homeless BLACK Suspect In Center City 7-Eleven Knife Attack  PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia police have arrested a man they say stabbed a 7-Eleven clerk during a violent attack in Center City last weekend. It happened around 6:30 a.m. Sunday along the 1300 block of Market Street. Police say 47-year-old Nathan Hack walked into the store and asked for a pack of cigarettes. After the cashier bagged the cigarettes, Hack asked for five more packs. Police say when Hack was told the price of the additional cigarettes he pulled a large knife from his pocket and attempted to stab the clerk in the head. Authorities say Hack then jumped on the counter and slashed the cashier in the head, neck and shoulder. The clerk fought back and was able to knock Hack off the counter and on to the floor. That’s when, police say, Hack fled the store, leaving the knife, a black hooded jacket and the cigarettes behind. |

Black Sports: Ex-NFL player from Chesterfield convicted of $10 million fraud scheme RICHMOND, Va. — A former NFL and University of Virginia football player was convicted by a federal jury Thursday for his role in a fraud scheme that cost his client’s a total of $10 million. Merrill Robertson Jr. and a co-conspirator started Cavalier Union Investments, LLC, and Black Bull Wealth management, LLC. Robertson played football at L.C. Bird High School, Fork Union Military Academy, and the University of Virginia. He then played briefly for the Philadelphia Eagles in the early 2000s. Prosecutors said from 2009 to 2016 the 36-year-old and the co-conspirator, identified as Sherman Carl Vaughn, solicited individuals to invest money in private investment funds that they managed, as well as investment opportunities that they proposed. They said Robertson identified potential investors by using contacts that he had from the NFL, the University of Virginia and the Fork Union Military Academy. Court records show that Robertson defrauded elderly individuals, former coaches, donors, alumni, and school employees.
Prosecutors said Robertson and Vaughn led clients to believe they were experienced investment advisors, and that they employed other experienced investment advisors to manage their investment funds. Court records show that Robertson and Vaughn fraudulently obtained more than $10 million from over 50 investors. Prosecutors say the men spent most of the money on mortgage and car payments, school tuitions, spa visits, luxury goods, and vacations. |
Sociopathic DEPRAVED BLACK serial rape suspect may be linked to mother of 3's murder, police say HAMMOND, Ind. -- Hammond police said Monday a serial rapist taken off the streets last week may be connected to a separate unsolved murder. The suspect is not being identified because of his age and a gag order issued by a Lake County Judge. However, Hammond Mayor Thomas McDermott did not mince words when describing the 15-year-old boy believed to be responsible not only for two rapes but also a murder, all committed within one month of each other. "Depraved young man. I talked to the officers who arrested him and there was ice blood, there is basically ice water in his veins. Described to me as a sociopath," Mayor McDermott said. The suspect was seen on surveillance video from Aug. 8, allegedly forcing a 25-year-old woman into an alley around 12:46 a.m. in the 7400-block of Arkansas Avenue. The teen allegedly threatened the victim with a hammer while she was out walking and raped her in the alley. Around 12:30 p.m. on July 26, police said a 14-year-old girl who was out walking in the 6700-block of Grand Avenue was also threated with a hammer, forced into an alley and raped. The Indiana State Police Crime Lab confirmed DNA evidence links the suspect to both rapes. The same rapist could be responsible for the stabbing death of a 25-year-old woman, police said Monday. Lucia Gonzalez, 25 was killed while all three of her children slept. She was found by her 6-year-old, stabbed to death in the kitchen. |

Cowardly criminal worthess BLACK 13-year-old suspected of cutting off elderly (black) woman's ear in attack, says victim's family JACKSON, Miss. — A 13-year-old boy was charged in connection with a stabbing that left a 61-year-old woman in critical condition with an ear missing this week. Mississippi police said the woman's 2016 orange Toyota RAV4 was found on Wednesday morning, just a few hours after it was stolen. The woman was attacked around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home in Jackson. The woman backed her vehicle into her driveway, got out and walked to her house. A man ran from the side of the house as she was opening the door, cut off her ear and stabbed her multiple times, including in the neck and chest, the relative said. The man stole the woman's purse and car keys and drove off in the vehicle, the family member said. She was found in a pool of blood, police said. The woman underwent two surgeries Wednesday at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and was expected to undergo a third, her family said. Corey Smith, 13, was charged as an adult with aggravated assault, auto theft and armed robbery. Officers have detained 3 juveniles for this crime. Black Teen babysitter from hell abandons infant at casino: cops  A 14-year-old babysitter, her boyfriend and her mother were arrested for abandoning an infant at a Long Island casino Monday night, officials said. Cops said the infant’s mother, who was not named, hired the sitter, who claimed to be 18 years old, through babysitting website sittercity.com Monday. “People may assume that when they go on a website like this, that the babysitters have been vetted in some manner,” Suffolk County police Chief Stuart Cameron said to ABC7. “Obviously that clearly was not the case here. The babysitter purported to be 18 years old.” The trio called police after the mother didn’t show up to pick up her 9-month-old baby at the agreed time. When cops arrived at the home, the sitter said they’d already resolved the issue. The babysitter, her 16-year-old boyfriend and her mother, Dejuana Stewart, arranged to meet the baby’s mother at Jake’s 58 Hotel & Casino in Islandia, N.Y. But another dispute about payment and pickup followed, and the mother once again failed to show up, according to authorities. Police said the caregivers then left the baby in a carrier on a bench outside the casino. |

BLACK Man convicted of video-recording rape gets long prison term CENTENNIAL, Colo. — A man convicted of sexually assaulting a Colorado woman while video-recording the attack on a cellphone has been sentenced to 48 years to life in prison. Prosecutors said 31-year-old Desmond Alvis Martin of Colorado Springs received the maximum sentence Thursday. Martin was accused of forcing the woman at gunpoint to perform sex acts at her home in the Denver suburb of Aurora in January 2016. He was convicted in July. Martin faces sexual assault charges there stemming from a separate incident. |

Police arrest (black) man allegedly responsible for attacking woman in Queens for casino winnings OZONE PARK, Queens -- Police have made an arrest in a vicious attack in Queens that took place in mid-August. Authorities say 36-year-old Devon Young is allegedly responsible for knocking a 55-year-old woman to the ground in Ozone Park and stealing her purse. Surveillance video captured the attack which helped lead police to their suspect. Officials say the suspect followed the woman from Resorts World Casino after she had just collected winnings. Young was currently on parole for committing the same crime twice back in 2016. He's currently being held on bond as he awaits his next court date on September 12. (Woman looks White) |
Black Woman charged with posting Snapchat video of sexual assault CHICAGO -- A Rogers Park woman watched as an over-served romantic rival passed out and was sexually assaulted, and posted part of the attack on the victim's Snapchat account. Beth Rae Harris, 36, had argued with the 23-year-old victim over a "mutual male acquaintance" at a party last week, but the pair eventually cooled off and wound up leaving together to hit a night club and hotel party, Assistant State's Attorney Nora Gill said at a bond hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse. From the hotel party, the pair returned to Harris' apartment, where the heavily intoxicated victim passed out, Gill said. The victim woke up the next morning completely naked, and sore. As she left the apartment, Harris told the victim that a man had sex with her while she was passed out. |

BLACK Funeral Home Employee Charged With Dumping Casket With Infant’s Remains Inside  PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia police have arrested and charged a New Jersey funeral home employee accused of improperly disposing of human remains after an infant-sized casket with human organs was found in North Philadelphia back in July. Police arrested Jeremy Brooks on Aug. 21 and charged him with abuse of a corpse. Abuse of a corpse is considered a misdemeanor. The infant’s casket was discovered on the 3000 block of Clearfield Street in North Philadelphia on July 3. Police say the casket contained the remains of a 3- to 4-month-old baby buried in South Jersey back in June. According to detectives, shortly before the baby’s funeral, workers at the funeral home noticed the casket latch was broken, so they transferred the body into a new casket. |

Perez decided to relieve a veteran police officer of duty and place him on an administrative assignment Thursday after a fatal police-involved shooting that killed a fugitive. Detective Argemis Colome said Sgt. Eduardo Pares, a 16-year veteran who is months away from his 17th year of service with the department, shot Anthony Antonio Ford on Wednesday after the suspect ran from police during a traffic stop. Hispanic Man who killed hero mechanic sentenced 33 years to life    A 22-year-old Brooklyn man was sentenced to 33 years to life in prison Wednesday for the fatal shooting of a mechanic who tried to stop him from looting neighborhood cars. Bryan Aponte was convicted last month of gunning down 53-year-old Michael Matusiak, a sheet-metal-shop worker who confronted him as he broke into a car in East Williamsburg in October 2016. Matusiak and another ABNY coworker, Derrick Robinson, 57, approached the thief as he smashed into vehicles, prosecutors said. Aponte spun around and sprayed bullets into Matusiak’s chest and buttock while also hitting Robinson in the torso and ear — and striking 13-year-old girl Cala Newberry in the hip as she walked to school. “This defendant senselessly took the life of an innocent father who caught him breaking into cars and shot and injured two others, including a 13-year-old on her way to school,” Acting Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said. |

Police believe Daryel Johnson fatally shot 53-year-old Dale Sands multiple times during a robbery and then threatened to kill a witness and his family if he alerted police, said Sgt. Don Coppola, a Baton Rouge police spokesman. The witness, nevertheless, reported hearing Johnson make a comment about moving a body while talking on the phone, Coppola said. Johnson then threatened to kill that witness and the witness's children if the witness told police about the conversation. Fredrick Demond Scott was charged Tuesday in two murders. Scott was also named as a suspect, but not charged, in three additional homicides. Municipal court records from 2014 show that Scott threatened a "Columbine-style" shooting at Center Alternative School where he would "kill all white people." The case was filed in January 2014. So far, Kansas City police have not said whether the trail killings were racially motivated or a hate crime. Camp Lejeune Marine arrested for having sex with 12-year-old CAMP LEJEUNE, Onslow County - A Camp Lejeune Marine private is making his first appearance in Harnett County Superior Court Thursday morning on charges related to having sex with a 12-year-old child. Lorenzo McLean, 20, of Tarawa Terrace, is facing five felony counts: two counts each of indecent liberties with a child and felony statutory rape of a child under 15 and a statutory sexual offense with a child under 15. McLean was arrested by Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents and booked into the Onslow County Jail on a $385,000 secured bond before being transferred to Harnett County. McLean first contacted the 12-year-old via the internet. |

Jeralquion Dieonte Williams, 21, gave a 17-year-old and a 13-year-old alcohol and, when the 17-year-old appeared drunk, took her to his bedroom and sexually battered her, according to a Gainesville police arrest report. Witnesses told police that, at one point, Williams left his bedroom and told them he had sex with the victim. Williams was charged with sexual assault and contributing to delinquency of a minor. He was held in the Alachua County jail where bond was set at $30,000. |
Shameless (previously white) Salisbury woman smiles for mugshot after robbery, assault of handicapped man - arrested with her monkey   SALISBURY, N.C - A Salisbury woman was all smiles in her mug shot after she was arrested and charged with robbery and assaulting a handicapped man. The victim told officers that he was pushed down by Chester Johnson Wednesday afternoon in a parking lot on Faith Road, while Cassey Stewart went through his pockets and took his money and debit card. Police said the two fled the scene. The victim gave officers their description and Johnson and Stewart were arrested shortly after. Police said all three knew each other. PHILADELPHIA — A new report calls for ending the practice of asking about criminal history on college applications. The study finds the impact falls disproportionately on would-be students of color. Philadelphia has “banned the box” on employment applications: the box applicants used to check if they had a criminal record. Community Legal Services attorney Jamie Gullen says research in the new report shows it’s time to do the same on college applications. “Just placing that question on the application really does pose a substantial barrier, primarily to students of color,” said Gullen.
Gullen says black youth are almost four times as likely as white youth to have a juvenile record and be discouraged from completing an application.
The so-called Broadway Bandit was busted by an FBI-NYPD joint task force Wednesday evening in Manhattan, according to reports.
