‘Anti-Semitic’ politician tricks critics into raising money for him For an anti-Semite, this guy’s got tons of chutzpah. A two-bit political gadfly named Thomas Lopez-Pierre has been running for City Council on an outrageous platform that calls for stopping “greedy Jewish landlords” from committing “ethnic cleansing” against blacks. His low-rent hatemongering seemed designed to get as much negative attention as possible. And it did — as Jewish groups and leaders demanded he be booted out of the Democratic Party. In the midst of this firestorm a GoFundMe called “Stop Thomas Lopez-Pierre Hate Campaign” suddenly popped up and was so successful, it raised $5,781. But anyone who donated hoping to actually stop Lopez-Pierre is going to be sorely disappointed — because the page was created by the candidate himself to scam money from his foes. “I call it bait and switch,” Lopez-Pierre actually bragged to The Post. |

15-year-old Spanish-speaking Hispanic migrant charged in gang rape to be prosecuted as adult A 15-year-old boy charged in the gang rape of a 14-year-old special education student will be prosecuted in the adult justice system, a Clark County Family Court judge ruled Wednesday. The teen, Leby Urquilla, is one of four boys charged, and the only juvenile to be certified as an adult as of Wednesday. Two adults are also jailed in connection with the case: Jose Mejia-Henriquez, 18, and the boy’s father, Leby Alas-Gomez, 39. The victim, who has the mental capacity of a 7- or 8-year-old, told police she was sexually assaulted by at least six males on three separate occasions in November. The accusations came to light after a video depicting the girl being used in group sex acts began circulating around Del Sol Academy in December. “They treated this special needs girl like a piece of cattle or property, to do with what they wanted,” Chief Deputy District Attorney Kimberly Adams said Wednesday in a small juvenile courtroom. She called the acts “heinous and egregious” while arguing for Urquilla to be tried as an adult. Urquilla sat silently as a court interpreter translated Adams’ words into Spanish, often looking down at his lap, then at the judge. The boy, originally from El Salvador, had been in the United States only for about a year. |

Black gang members get life for brutal cold-blooded murder of White couple - to prevent them from testifying Malcolm Hartley was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison for the murders of Doug and Debbie London. Two-and-a-half years ago, the Londons were gunned down in their Lake Wylie, S.C., home – victims of a criminal conspiracy to keep them from testifying against three Charlotte gang members accused of trying to rob the couple’s mattress store months earlier. Court documents say Jamell “Murda Mell” Cureton, a leader in the Charlotte cell of United Blood Nation, gave the order for the killings and helped direct the hits from his cell in the Mecklenburg County Jail. Hartley, known among gang members as “Bloody Silent,” rang the bell at the Londons’ home the night of Oct. 23, 2014. He shot and killed Debbie London when she opened the door. Doug London fired one shot before his gun jammed, then Hartley shot him multiple times. During his escape, Hartley stopped and retraced his steps when he heard Doug London crying. He found the gravely wounded husband grieving over his wife’s body, and shot him again. Twelve Charlotte members of the Valentine Bloods were charged in connection with the killings. Cureton and two others also faced murder charges in the 2013 execution-style slaying of Kwamne Clyburn, a homeless teenager. Nine of the 12 have pleaded guilty. Cureton and Hartley, who pleaded last fall to a combined 15 charges to avoid a death-penalty trial, were the first to be sentenced. On Tuesday, Cureton entered the courtroom first. Almost three years ago, Doug London and the gang leader exchanged gunfire during the attempted robbery of the mattress store. Cureton was wounded. According to court documents, Cureton and other gang members swore vengeance on the Londons after they persisted in showing up at the preliminary court hearings. “Hunt for blood, and blood gone hunt for you,” Cureton said at one point as the gang planned its retaliation. - (Black-on-white) |

A criminal complaint from U.S. District Court details how they were able to track down Leach since the threats started on Tuesday. Police Chief Trevor Whipple said the electronic trail was a huge help. The FBI used Microsoft Outlook and IP addresses to trace the many emails sent to students and staff. They used the high school IT department to track copies of deleted draft messages from Leach's Google account. They also tracked him via a Facebook message sent from a fake account and from a phone call made to the school secretary. Whipple and Superintendent David Young held a press conference earlier Friday where the chief said he had talked to the family of one of the people on the kill list and there was just so much fear. Worthless Negro pleads guilty in 2014 murder of (White) Indianapolis Police Officer Perry Renn INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man will spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of IMPD Officer Perry Renn. Under a plea agreement entered in court Friday, Major Davis II avoids the death penalty but will serve a life sentence. Marion Prosecutor Terry Curry says his office struck a deal to avoid a prolonged timeline in a case that has already taken several twists and turns. In October, a judge found Davis was not mentally competent to stand trial. “Given the relatively young age of the defendant, the obvious mental health issues – it was certain that it was no longer appropriate as a death penalty case,” Curry said. Following the July 2014 fatal shooting death of Officer Perry Renn, Davis frequently fought with his attorneys and tried to file motions on his own behalf. After being found incompetent to stand trial in October, his defense attorneys at the time said he suffered from paranoia and delusions. But following psychiatric treatments at a state-run facility, Davis was found competent to stand trial in February of this year. That’s when, Curry says, talks with Davis’ attorneys began in earnest to discuss a possible plea agreement. All the while, Curry says, he kept Perry Renn’s widow, Lynn, abreast of the proceedings. “We had frequent conversations with them to keep them aprised along the way. Again, without going into too much substance – this resolution is something that Lynn Renn would like to have seen from day one,” Curry said. He will be sentenced on April 27. - (Black-on-white) |
