Newbill's mom says her daughter was a certified nursing assistant and was preparing to go back to school to become a licensed practical nurse. She was also married. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help her family with funeral expenses. Police said Tuesday that the suspect in the case was subsequently found dead on Sunday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. They say he, along with 15-year-old Brandon Smith and a 14-year-old, were all playing basketball before they decided to rob someone. “At one point, he did plead for his life. He said ‘please don’t shoot me’ … and they still shot him one time,” said Homicide Captain James Clark. Both Hamilton and Smith were freshman at Overbrook High School. Smith, who was charged as an adult, faces trial next March. The third, 14-year-old suspect faces lesser charges. - (Black-on-white)

• Worthless, racist black ex-convict assassinated two White utility workers before killing himself - which he should have done FIRST
  ST. LOUIS (AP) _St. Louis police have released the names of two utility workers who were shot to death, along with the name of the man they say shot the workers before turning the gun on himself. The shooting happened Thursday morning as the Laclede Gas employees were working in a residential area in St. Louis. Police on Friday identified the workers as 27-year-old Alex Boschert and 52-year-old William Froelich. The shooter is identified as 51-year-old Clinton Willis. Police declined to discuss a possible motive, saying only that the shooting didn't appear to be racially motivated. Willis was black and both workers were white. Willis has a long criminal history dating more than 20 years that includes convictions on drug trafficking, assault and armed criminal action. Court records show he was sentenced to 14 years in prison in 1997. - (Black-on-white)
