Black muslim ISIS wannabe once suspected of stabbing boy admits to attacking federal agent   An ISIS wannabe once suspected of stabbing a 9-year-old Staten Island boy as part of a terror “audition” copped to a plea deal in another case Thursday. Fareed Mumuni, 22, admitted to plotting to support the terror group and to repeatedly stabbing a federal agent with a knife as officers searched his home in June 2015. Clad in a kufti, the soft-spoken man told Brooklyn Federal Court Justice Margo Brodie that he had been chatting with friends about “traveling over seas to join ISIS to defend Islam. “I intentionally attempted to kill [a law-enforcement officer] by lunging at him with a knife,” Mumuni added. Assistant US Attorney Alex Solomon told the court that Mumuni had repeatedly stabbed an FBI agent with a kitchen knife, which he had hidden “in a t-shirt in his bedroom.” Solomon said Mumuni also kept another kitchen knife in his car. He faces up to 85 years in prison when sentenced May 16. Mumuni pleaded “guilty” to charges of conspiracy to provide material support to ISIS, attempted conspiracy to provide material support to ISIS, assault, conspiracy to assault federal officers and attempted murder of federal officers. The Staten Island man was at one point also a suspect in the January 2015 stabbing of 9-year-old Jermaine Culver, in what authorities called a terror “audition.” The investigation into the child’s stabbing remains open, NYPD cops said. They refused to comment on whether Mumuni was still a suspect. Mumuni lived only 600 yards from Culver, who survived being knifed in the neck, head and back. |

Black Muslim Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem convicted of helping plot Texas attack sentenced to prison PHOENIX - An American-born Muslim convert convicted of supporting the Islamic State group and helping to plot a 2015 attack on a Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest in Texas has been sentenced to 30 years in prison. Prosecutors were seeking a life sentence for Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem, while his defense attorney asked for less than six years of prison time. Authorities say Kareem, the owner of a moving company in Phoenix, provided the guns that two friends used to open fire outside the anti-Islam event in suburban Dallas and hosted the two Islamic State followers at his home to discuss the upcoming attack. His friends, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi, were killed in a police shootout outside the contest in Garland. A security guard was wounded, but no one else was injured. The contest featured cartoons that are offensive to Muslims. |

Jury recommends 'life without parole' for black convicted killer of homeless white woman after second trial  TULSA - A jury recommended life without parole for convicted murderer Stephen Scyffore, 26, on Friday morning in Tulsa court before Judge Doug Drummond. Scyffore was convicted of first-degree murder on Thursday night for the killing of a homeless woman, 31-year-old Leslie Griffin, on Nov. 22, 2014 at 10th and St. Louis in Tulsa. An affidavit filed in the case said, after a gunshot was heard, Scyffore bragged to a witness that he "smoked" the woman. The affidavit also said that Griffin was seen with Scyffore at his apartment before her death. An earlier trial had been declared a mistrial when a witness made a gun gesture with his hand. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) man wanted in connection with death of (White) woman found dead next to Sumter road  WILDWOOD, Fla. - An arrest warrant was issued Monday for a 21-year-old man after a woman was found dead next to a Sumter County road, officials said. The Sumter County Sheriff's Office said it is looking for Terrance Kwamaine Williams of Wildwood. He's wanted on charges of second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the death of Barbara Lynn Grubb. Deputies were called to the 9200 block of County Road 231, in Wildwood at 11:18 a.m. Sunday and found Grubb, 35, dead on the side of the road. Deputies said Grubb suffered upper body trauma. Grubb had been arrested several times in Marion County, where she lived, for petit theft, grand theft auto, prostitution and violation for probation, officials said. (Black) Man Gets 39 Years For Humboldt Park Fatal Shooting In 2015 CHICAGO — A man has been sentenced to 39 years in prison for a fatal shooting in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood in 2015. Ladarren M. Ball, 32, was found guilty of murder Dec. 20, 2016 after a trial before Judge Vincent Gaughan, according to Cook County court records. About 6 p.m. on Sept. 19, 2015, Zika Urosevicwas standing with a group of people in the 1200 block of North Keeler when Ball walked up and started shooting, authorities said at the time. Urosevic, 38, was shot in the back of the neck and died at the scene, authorities said. He lived in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. (Black) Homeless man with HIV rapes (White) woman near Chattahoochee River, police say  A homeless man with HIV raped a woman on Feb. 3 near the Chattahoochee River at the intersection of First Avenue and 17th Street, according to testimony Monday in Columbus Recorder’s Court. Joseph Lee Sims, 55, pleaded not guilty to rape, sodomy, reckless conduct HIV and giving false information to police. Columbus Police Officer Christina Lombardo said she was called to the Homeless Resource Network at 2221 Second Ave. around 9:20 a.m. Feb. 3 to investigate a sexual assault. Lombardo said as Sims was being transported to the jail, he denied raping the woman. Tulsa County prosecutors charged Pullen for acts against a single victim, but court documents detail investigative findings of 10 other possible victims, all of whom met Pullen online, where he used a fake name. Forensic analysis and expert testimony revealed that Tulsa police recovered three liquor bottles in which evidence of a date rape drug was confirmed and four more in which evidence of the drug was “indicated but not confirmed.” All five, including the 24-year-old victim, testified to friending a man named Corey Davis on Facebook. Black Man (with bad hair) Arrested for Allegedly Trying to Rape Teenage Jogger; Ontario Police Say Girl Fought Back A man was arrested early Monday for allegedly trying to rape a 17-year-old girl as she jogged through a green belt area in Ontario, police reported. The teenage girl told Ontario police she was jogging in the Creekside area about 4:43 p.m. Sunday when she was tackled by a man and pinned to the ground. The teenager told police the man also tried to take off her clothes. She was able to fight the man off, prompting him to run away, Ontario police said in a news release. Christopher Collins, 24, was arrested Monday morning in connection with the attempted rape, police reported. |
(Black) Nashville man convicted for rape, sexual assault of 2 girls  NASHVILLE, TN - A Nashville man was found guilty by a jury on Thursday for raping and sexually abusing two young girls. According to police, the victims lived with 48-year-old Rodney Robinson and his wife for eight years. Assistant District Attorney Megan King said the abuse continued until the children were removed from the home when they were 14 years old. King said Robinson whipped one of the girls with a belt. The girl's friend noticed the marks and told a teacher at school, which is when the girl went for an examination at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Robinson was convicted of five counts of aggravated sexual battery, four counts of rape of a child, one county of attempted rape of a child, two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and two counts of rape. |

(Black) Lorain man walks out of child rape trial: Fugitive of the Week  LORAIN, Ohio - Law enforcement officials are asking for the public's help to try and find a Lorain man who walked out of his child rape trial. Devante Gibbs, 24, was indicted on rape, kidnapping, child endangering and felonious assault charges in Lorain County Common Pleas Court in November 2015, court records show. The charges stem from an incident involving a 2-year-old child, the U.S. Marshals said in a news release. Gibbs was on bond through the court and was unrestrained during the trial, U.S. Marshal Anne Murphy said Sunday. He left the courthouse Friday during a break before the jury returned with their guilty verdict and did not return, Murphy said. Tips can remain anonymous, and reward money is available. |

Police seek (black) man who attacked, sexually assaulted woman at motel GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - The hunt is on for a suspect who police say robbed and sexually assaulted a woman at a local motel. A reporter was at the Microtel on north Norcross Tucker Road in Norcross. She learned the suspect was spotted at another hotel. Police have video of the man at the hotel, just a few hours before the reported attack. Norcross police say it shows the suspect walking into the Country Inn and Suites on Jan. 24. The timestamp is at around 7:45 that morning. A few hours later, on that same day, the same man is seen walking into the Microtel one street over on north Norcross Tucker Road. Detectives say it was at that motel where the suspect met up with a woman and sexually assaulted her, before robbing her. |

(Black) Sex offender charged with exposing himself outside Jersey City school  A sex offender has been charged with exposing and touching himself outside a Jersey City elementary school in the presence of children -- thanks to a quick-thinking girl who snapped a photo of him. Michael K. Singleton, of the 100 block of Seaview Avenue, was arrested Wednesday and charged with lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child, the criminal complaint says. After the incident, Jersey City police emailed Singleton's picture to all officers and one officer was able to identify him and provide his name and address, the complaint says. |
2nd (black) Arrested in Killings of 3 People in NJ Apartment: Prosecutors A second man sought in the killings of three people found shot to death in a New Jersey apartment was arrested Saturday, authorities said. Lavelle Davis, 33, of Galloway, was found early Saturday in Yonkers, Essex County prosecutors said. They declined to provide further details about his capture. The arrest came one day after the other suspect, former Egg Harbor Township resident Jimmy Mays, was captured in Maryland. Both men are charged with three counts of murder, as well as conspiracy, felony murder, robbery and weapons offenses. Authorities have not disclosed a possible motive for the slayings of 45-year-old Michael Davis, of Maplewood, 30-year-old Roshana Kelson, of Paterson, and 44-year-old Lance Fraser, of Newark. The three were found shot to death in a Maplewood home on Jan. 29. |

Black Woman Accused of Scalding Baby A Milwaukee woman is facing child abuse charges after police say she put a baby into a bathtub filled with scalding water. 21 year old Kelly Walton is charged with two counts of child abuse and neglect. Police said she was watching her boyfriend's baby overnight. Walton called the child's mother and said that they baby's skin was red and peeling. She later returned the baby to the mother and said the baby had a reaction to the soap she used during a bath. She later confessed to police that she lied, and that she placed the baby in bathtub without checking the water. However, medical reports suggest that the baby was restrained, after being placed in scalding hot water. The criminal complaint says 50 percent of the baby's body is burned. |

Anthony Dangelo Wilkins, 33, was wanted after he pulled a gun in a parking lot firing multiple rounds, killing Miaquita Gray and wounding another man, police said. According to police, Wilkins was found after he was involved in a shooting with Virginia State Police Sunday. Wilkins was taken to a hospital where authorities confirmed his identity. The second suspect in Gray's death, 33-year-old Charles Leon Thompson Jr., has not been found. Thompson is 5-feet-6-inches tall, 190 pounds and has tattoos on his arms and neck. A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of Thompson. |

She told police the guard then raped her. A month later, another woman reported similar allegations and said her assailant resembled LL Cool J, Chief Deputy District Attorney Sam Martinez told jurors. The woman alleged that she drifted in and out of consciousness while telling the man, “No.” Authorities later linked Johnson, now 48, to both cases through DNA evidence. |

Mother of suspect in 92-year-old woman's slaying says her (mixed-race) son didn't kill the elderly religious black woman   LEESBURG, Fla. - The mother of a Lake County man charged with killing a 92-year-old woman said her son had nothing to do with the home invasion homicide. Sara Collins said she turned in her son, 19-year-old Joshua McClellan, and his friend, 21-year-old Krystopher Laws, to police Friday evening. “That was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life; that's my son,” Collins said. “I want everybody to know my son didn't do this, and I'm not going to stop till I can prove his innocence.” A judge on Saturday morning ordered the men to remain jailed on first-degree murder and robbery home invasion charges. Collins said Rubye Harrison James, the woman the men are accused of killing, is a family friend for whom McClellan did yard work. “I know my son didn't do that,” she said. “He didn't have to do that. He could have called Ms. Ruby at any time.” But investigators said Saturday that Laws confessed that it all came down to $70 for drugs. “And once they met her at the door, one of them confessed to striking her, knocking her down, and at that point, he said they both stabbed her.” Investigators said they found James’ body Wednesday buried in a shallow grave |

(Black) Buffalo man who tried to shoot cop sentenced to 19 years in prison   BUFFALO, N.Y. – 19-year-old Andre Fuller is heading to prison for the next 19 years of his life. That was the sentence handed down by Erie County Judge Thomas Franczyk Friday morning for the man who tried to shoot a Buffalo police officer in June, 2016. Andre Fuller pleaded guilty in November to 2nd degree attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon. On June 15, he was running away from the scene of a robbery on Doate Street, when Officer Anthony Fanara caught up with him and wrestled him to the ground. Fuller, who was 18 years old at the time, pressed his loaded handgun into Officer Fanara’s chest and pulled the trigger. The gun did not go off. Jamiel Morley was arrested Jan. 26 and charged with criminal harassment, invitation to sexual touching and making sexually explicit material available to a person under 16. Toronto Police seek 3 (black) women in shovel assault  Toronto police are searching for three female suspects after another woman was stabbed with a knife and attacked with a shovel early Saturday. Investigators have also released a photo of two of the suspects in the incident, which sent the 29-year-old victim to hospital with serious injuries. The incident happened at 4:40 a.m. in an industrial area southeast of Keele St. and Lawrence Ave. W. (Black) Suspect Killed After Incident At Housing Complex NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A suspect was killed after being shot by a Metro Police officer at a public housing complex just east of downtown. East Precinct Officer Josh Lippert attempted a vehicle stop after 31-year-old Jocques Scott Clemmons ran a stop sign. They said Lippert was in an unmarked police car in a parking lot on South 6th Street when he saw Clemmons run the stop sign. Clemmons parked his SUV outside a Cayce Homes building and was getting out when Lippert drove up to talk with him about the traffic violation. Police said video from security cameras in the housing development showed Clemmons abruptly charge at Officer Lippert, making full contact with his body. According to police officials, the officer gave repeated commands for Clemmons to drop the gun, but he refused. Police said Lippert believed he was in imminent danger and fired three shots at Clemmons just as he was turning to move between two parked vehicles. |

(Black) Suspect (with fake gun) fatally shot by police in NE Portland - (no riots reported yet) A 17-year-old boy with a replica gun was fatally shot by police during an investigation of a suspected armed robbery Thursday, a police spokesman said Friday. Quanice Derrick Hayes was suspected of robbing a man near a Northeast Portland motel, police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson said. Hayes allegedly approached a man sitting in his car on Thursday morning, and had a gun, Simpson said. A motel employee said Hayes took the man's Oregon food benefits card. Shortly after, police responded to a report of a car prowl at the Banfield Pet Hospital, Simpson said. They encountered Hayes, who fled, Simpson said. They encountered him a third time and Officer Andrew Hearst shot and killed Hayes, Simpson said. No one else was injured. MAPLEWOOD, N.J. — One man had been arrested and charged Friday, while another remained at large, in a triple homicide in Maplewood, New Jersey late last month. Jimmy P. Mays, 37, formerly of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested in Columbia, Maryland by detectives from the Essex County Prosecutor’s office, the Maplewood Police Department, the FBI, and the Maryland State Police, according to prosecutors. A second suspect, Lavelle T. Davis, 33, of Galloway, New Jersey, remained at large late Friday. He is considered armed and dangerous. |

(Black) Man Gets $750,000 Bail For Allegedly Attacking Kids During Recess CHICAGO — A St. Louis man physically assaulted four children – knocking at least two of them to the ground – while they were playing outside during recess at their elementary school. Three of those students were hugging each other as they played when Tasewell Dugger entered the restricted playground at Ogden International School around 11 a.m. Tuesday. Dugger’s rampage started after a 6-year-old boy ran into his path. The 46-year-old allegedly went on to strike the boy, causing him to fall to the pavement. Then, Dugger kicked a 7-year-old girl. When that victim fell onto the ground, he punched her in the stomach with a closed fist. Two other girls — a 6-year-old and another 7-year-old — were also slapped in the face by Dugger. |

(Black) Longtime Arbor View High School athletic director arrested on child pornography charges The longtime athletic director at Arbor View High School was arrested on child pornography charges. Roger Brown, 54, was booked in the Clark County Detention Center on Tuesday. He is charged with one count of using or permitting a minor 14 or older to produce porn. Brown was arrested by Clark County School District Police, district spokeswoman Michelle Booth confirmed. It was not clear when and where Brown was arrested. |
(Black) Pastor on parole for separate crime sentenced for online solicitation HOUSTON - A Montgomery County judge sentenced a pastor to 25 years in prison for soliciting who he thought was a 14-year-old girl for sex. Jeremiah Landon Busby, 39, pleaded guilty for the felony charge on Feb. 1. He was on parole for an 80-year sentence for possession of a controlled substance. He had also previously been to prison for murder. On Nov. 2, 2015, an investigator was online, conducting undercover operations. While monitoring the undercover profile of the 14-year-old, the detective received several messages from Busby. The messages included "Are you sexually active?", "How many guys have you been with?", and "Do you give oral sex?" He asked for photos of the girl and made arrangements for the two to have sex. When Busby arrived at the meeting location, he was arrested. |
2 (black) women accused of putting drugs in child's happy meal  CENTER, TX - One woman has been arrested and another is on the run after police said they were connected to an incident where drugs were found in a child's food. The incident happened on January 5 at the McDonald's in the 800 block of Hurst Street in Center, TX. Police say a family went through the drive thru and purchased a Happy Meal for their 9-year-old. After they left, 2 prescription Tramadol pills were found in the child’s meal. Through a month-long investigation, detectives confirmed that two suspects, 37-year-old Omeisha Williams and 25-year-old Artshia Radway of Center were responsible for the Tramadol pills being placed into the happy meal. |

Three Suspects Captured in Marianna Homicide, Robbery MARIANNA, Ark. - Three men are behind bars after being accused of robbing and killing another person, the Marianna Police Department said. The MPD says the incident happened Jan. 30. Feb. 3, police identified the robbery/homicide suspects as Aswad Allen, Raffiel Walker, and Eddie Jimmerson, and they asked the public for help in finding them. Feb. 7, all three suspects were taken into custody within hours of each other. |

Geovanny Perez-Cruz, 18, pleaded guilty to first degree battery after a shooting at a Walmart injured one man. In October, police responded to a shooting after the victim went inside the Walmart for help. The victim, Daniel Luna, said he was shot after being involved in a verbal confrontation. |

(Hispanic) Man arrested for allegedly trying to force teen into his car PASADENA - Just hours after a teen girl was targeted in an attempted kidnapping, Pasadena police made an arrest in the case. At about 2pm Tuesday, police dispatch received a call from a distraught 17-year-old girl who said she had been the victim of an attempted abduction while she was walking home from school. "He got next to me, and he first offered $100 to get in his truck, and I refused of course, and he kept following me," said the 17-year-old. She says the man persisted. "He said if I didn't get in the truck he was going to make me, that's when he started to approach me," she said. As the girl began walking faster, 32-year-old Salvador Avalos allegedly pulled his vehicle over and began to get out. The girl immediately ran into the Pasadena Heritage Museum, where she called police. |

Sarno, after learning that several refugee families are expected to arrive in the Springfield area this week, has renewed criticism of local resettlement agencies, saying "enough is enough." In a prepared release, Sarno raised a series of questions about the arrival, saying he had received no advance communication from the Jewish Family Service of Western Massachusetts, the resettlement agency. The Jewish Family Service stated that the families are coming from Bhutan and Eritrea, and occur after a federal judge temporarily blocked President Donald Trump's executive order closing America's borders to seven predominately Muslim countries. "We have done more than our fair share when it comes to dealing with homelessness, refugees and subsidized housing. Round Rock gas station murder suspect driven to jail by his mother  ROUND ROCK, Texas — The suspect charged with shooting a man to death outside a Round Rock gas station on Wednesday was driven to the sheriff’s office by his mother after the shooting. Police say the shooting happened at the Wag-A-Bag convenience store located at 1490 E. Old Settlers Blvd. around 9:20 p.m. Officers originally responded to multiple calls of shots fired. When they arrived, 43-year-old John Lawrence Ammon of Round Rock was found dead in the parking lot. A witness told officers that Kendrick Newman, 40, got into an altercation with Ammon inside the Wag-A-Bag that continued outside. Police say Newman pulled out a handgun and shot Ammon multiple times, before riding away on a bicycle. His mother later drove him to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office to turn himself in. She told deputies her son confessed to shooting Ammon. Newman, who is is from Round Rock, has been charged with murder and is being held in the Williamson County Jail. Police say they have also identified Newman in surveillance video and photos as the man who shot Ammon. - (Black-on-white) |
(Black) Deerfield teenager found guilty in crash that killed (White) Boca woman  A Deerfield Beach teen was found guilty Thursday of vehicular homicide in a 2015 crash that killed a Boca Raton woman. Wesley Brown, 16, whose first trial last month ended in a mistrial, glanced back at his two family members in the audience when he heard his verdict. Brown, who was prosecuted as an adult on charges of vehicular homicide, fleeing and driving without a license, could face 25 years in prison. “I’ll just be honest, this case was so unique,” said Circuit Judge Charles Burton, who then stopped himself from explaining further. Wendy Harris-Aceves was driving to pick up her 16-year-old daughter from a dance when Brown, then 15, crashed the stolen Ford Mustang convertible he was driving into her Honda Pilot at speeds of up to 117 mph, authorities said. He had been fleeing Boca Raton cops at the time, police said. Harris-Aceves, a 46-year-old mother of two, died instantly, while Brown survived with some broken bones. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Man charged with murder in deadly November assault (on a White man) Police have charged a suspect with murder in connection with the November assault of David Bray, who later died from his injuries. Reginald Carr, 36, was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of murde. Carr was identified as the person who assaulted Bray near the Taylor Berry-South Louisville neighborhood border. Bray, 65, of Louisville, was found near the intersection of Algonquin Parkway and Rodman Street around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 21, police said. He was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment, where he died Dec. 1, said Jefferson County deputy coroner Jim Wesley. An autopsy determined that Bray died of complications from blunt force abdominal injuries, a result of injuries suffered during the assault. - (Black-on-white) |

Trial dates set for two (black) suspects in murder of (White) man waiting on bus     Two of the four men accused in the capital murder of a Texarkana, Texas, man last year are scheduled for jury trials next month. Anthony Wilson, 20; Jailon Gamble, 20; Marshall Vallejos, 23; and Jaquelle Rogers, 22, are accused of conspiring to rob Casey Smith on Mamie Street as he waited for his daughters' school bus March 29, 2016. One of the men allegedly waited behind the wheel of a getaway car nearby while the other three approached Smith. The men allegedly believed Smith was in possession of drugs and demanded he hand over "everything he had," according to a probable cause affidavit used to create the following account. When Smith resisted, Vallejos allegedly shot him in the face. Wilson allegedly fired as well, accidentally striking Vallejos in the leg. Wilson appeared Tuesday before 102nd District Judge Bobby Lockhart for a pretrial hearing. "The state is ready to pick a jury" as scheduled in Wilson's case March 14. Drunken black muslim african alien Taxi cab driver charged in vehicular homicide (of White passenger) released from jail   A Polk County District Court judge this week lowered the bond for the taxi cab driver who officials say was intoxicated and driving recklessly in January when he crashed his vehicle, killing one passenger and injuring another. Mohamed Said Diriye, 29, was released from Polk County Jail early Thursday evening after posting a $125,000 surety bond. Diriye had been held on a $550,000 cash-only bond. Roger Owens, Diriye’s court-appointed attorney, in court documents, argued that “due to the lack of certified language interpreters” it has been difficult for Diriye to participate in his defense while in jail. Diriye, who has lived in Des Moines two years, faces five charges including vehicular homicide-operating while intoxicated, homicide by vehicle-reckless driving, operating while intoxicated-second offense, and two counts of serious injury by vehicle. His driver’s license has also been suspended. The crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. on Jan. 19. Diriye, who was driving a United Taxi Cab vehicle, crossed N.E. 22nd Street, failing to stop at a stop sign and drove into a ravine, according to court documents. A passenger, Shawn T. Koltiska, 49, of Kansas was killed in the crash. Another passenger, Joseph Brian Foster, 48, also of Kansas, was injured, records show. Diriye was transported to a Des Moines hospital where a Polk County sheriff’s deputy asked the cab driver to take a breath test. Diriye continually stuck “his tongue into the tube preventing a proper test result.” A search warrant was obtained to get blood sample from Driye. Police Release Sketch Of (worthless evil black) Deep Ellum Suspect in shooting of White playwright - shot twice in face  DALLAS – Authorities in Dallas are still searching for the suspect who shot Ochre House Theatre founder Matthew Posey as he and a friend were leaving the Cold Beer Company in Deep Ellum last month. The shooting happened on January 30 at about 10:15 p.m. in the 3600 block of Main Street. Police have now released a sketch of the suspect, hoping that it will help bring that man to justice. Posey and his friend were getting into a truck in the bar’s parking lot when the suspect approached with a handgun. Posey was shot twice in the face. The young suspect then jumped into a silver four-door car with others and fled from the scene. Nothing was taken from Posey during the shooting. Police have described the suspect as a young black male, and released a sketch based on Posey’s description. - (Black-on-white) |

Police believe the crime was committed by the same man, who is wanted for series of robberies and a sexual assault in and around a senior housing complex. The latest crime occurred about 7:25 a.m. Thursday when officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Pacific Avenue, said Marlene Arrona of the Long Beach Police Department. Police said the man forced his way into a 90-year-old woman’s house, tried to sexually assault her then robbed her. As she fought him off, she was punched in the face, one neighbor said. JERSEY CITY -- The man who allegedly attacked two police officers while high on PCP earlier this month is now facing charges he viciously attacked a woman and tried to rape her. Anthony Howard, 40, was arrested on Feb. 6 after he repeatedly punched the victim in the face and tried ripping her clothes off. Howard, threw the woman to the ground and told her multiple times he was going to kill her. The victim briefly lost consciousness during the attack, but said Howard tried taking his own clothes off as well. A police officer went inside the home and found Howard punching the woman in the face. Howard appeared under the influence of drugs or alcohol and smashed a window in the home when police attempted to arrest him. The victim was described as an "acquaintance" of Howard. 
BROWNSVILLE, Texas — An illegal immigrant from Mexico has been charged in connection with the attempted purchase of at least one grenade launcher and three AK-47s in Texas; it remains unclear if the weapons were meant for a drug cartel. The grenade launcher was bound for Mexico before the bust. Agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosive arrested 31-year-old 
An Ocala Police Department detective arrested a 28-year-old woman on suspicion of having sex with underage boys in a public bathroom. Maria Lynn Baker was arrested early Saturday morning on two counts of lewd and lascivious battery — based in part on video evidence — . Baker, who was listed as homeless, had been arrested last month on disorderly conduct and trespassing charges. She spent 15 days in the Marion County Jail. An officer went to West Silver Springs Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, where Baker and another woman were arguing. The woman told the officer that she had evidence Baker was having sexual encounters with
