(Black) Gadsden man who shot at a (White) cop back in jail Nine days after his 10-year sentence for shooting at a Gadsden police officer was diverted to Community Corrections, a Gadsden man is back in jail, and prosecutors are asking that the diversion be revoked. Danny Christopher Lipscomb, 31, had been charged with attempted murder after a 2009 incident when he fired on Gadsden police officer Byram Hammonds. Hammonds returned fire, and Lipscomb was shot in the head. He pleaded guilty last year to the lesser included offense of attempted first-degree assault and was sentenced Jan. 30 to 10 years with the diversion to Community Corrections. Etowah County Chief Deputy District Attorney Marcus Reid filed a motion Wednesday asking Etowah County Circuit Judge David Kimberley change the sentence. "Although only a week has passed since the defendant was placed with Community Corrections, he has already violated the terms and conditions of his diversion and proven himself unworthy of the opportunity afforded to him by this Court," Reid's motion states. Lipscomb was administered a routine drug screen by his Community Corrections supervisor and tested positive for both marijuana and cocaine, according to the motion. "Under the circumstances, it is indisputable that the defendant has ingested controlled substances during his placement with Etowah County Community Corrections," Reid wrote. "This diversion represented an opportunity granted by the dourt for the defendant to remain in the community and prove himself worthy of a second chance. He has utterly failed to avail himself of this opportunity," Reid said in the motion. The prosecutor asked that Lipscomb be jailed immediately pending a hearing on his motion to revoke the diverted sentence. - (Black-on-white) |

Fremont Police Release Name Of Officer Who Fatally Shot 45-Year-Old (black African) transient FREMONT, CA — Fremont police on Wednesday released the name of an officer who fatally shot a suspect on Sunday afternoon. Police had released only limited information before Wednesday on the shooting that killed 45-year-old Fremont resident Nana Adomako, but have now released a detailed description of an incident that began with a 911 call at 4:02 p.m. from a business in the 39000 block of Argonaut Way. An employee at the business said a man came into the store, “attacked” employees and was rude to customers. When the employee asked the man to leave, he took the employee’s cellphone, hit him and threatened to kill him, according to police. The suspect, later identified as Adomako, was last seen walking on Argonaut Way toward Mowry Avenue. Officer James Taylor and his police canine were nearby and at 4:10 p.m. spotted someone in the area matching the suspect description, police said. Taylor got out of his patrol car and asked Adomako, who he recognized from three prior non-violent contacts, to sit on the curb, police said. Adomako asked why he was being stopped and allegedly talked about being the “King of Fremont” and the “chief of police” and refused to sit on the curb, according to police. Taylor, who police said is an eight-year veteran of the department and has crisis intervention and defensive tactics training, then tried to put Adomako in a control hold but he pulled away. Adomako had on a jacket and the officer determined his Taser stun gun would be ineffective on Adomako and his bulky clothing so he didn’t fire it, police said. While a struggle ensued between the pair, Taylor pushed the door release button on his duty belt, freeing the police canine from the patrol car. However, the dog came up and mistakenly bit the officer, according to police. Adomako then allegedly punched Taylor on the left side of his head, and a witness told investigators they heard the impact of the punch to the officer’s head, police said. Fearing for his life, Taylor fired three shots from close range, striking Adomako and causing him to fall to the ground. A second officer, Grant Goepp, pulled up to the scene just as the shooting occurred and helped handcuff Adomako, police said. The officers called for an ambulance but Adomako was pronounced dead at 4:22 p.m. Taylor was taken to the Police Department and then to a hospital where he was treated for a mild concussion, a contusion on the left side of his face, a broken finger, scratches and abrasions and a dog bite, police said. He was released from the hospital on Sunday night and has been placed on paid administrative leave, according to police. Investigators have interviewed several witnesses in the case and both patrol cars at the scene were equipped with in-car video, with Taylor’s in-car camera capturing the majority of the incident although without audio, police said. - (Black-on-white) |

Cops suspect (White female) jogger’s killing (by vicious evil black racist Negro animal) may have been racially motivated The confessed killer of Queens jogger Karina Vetrano told detectives he hated the victim’s predominantly white neighborhood of Howard Beach, leading cops to believe race played a role in the murder, sources told The Post. “I don’t like those people over there,” said Chanel Lewis, 20, who is black and split time between homes in the largely impoverished neighborhoods of East New York and Brownsville, according to sources. Lewis made the statement to a black detective when asked why he killed Vetrano, whose body was found strangled in Spring Creek Park. His comment caused cops to believe that race was a factor in Vetrano’s slaying, sources said. A white detective initially tried twice to get Lewis to talk and he refused, sources said. But when the black detective, Barry Brown, interviewed him, Lewis waived his Miranda rights and gave two videotaped statements, confessing that he’d “hit” and “choked” the beautiful jogger on Aug. 2. Brown is known as a highly-skilled officer and the “best detective in Queens for getting confessions,” sources said. Vetrano’s neighborhood, Howard Beach, is largely white and middle class. - (Black-on-white) |

The investigation led police to one of the rooms where detectives said they found that a 16-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted by three males at the hotel. Two of the suspects are juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were arrested and brought to Long Creek Youth Development Center. The third suspect was 19-year-old Garang Majok of Westbrook. Majok was arrested and brought to the Cumberland County Jail. "Sometimes you get lucky. You get called to the right place at the right time, and our officers did a good job of using street experience to do what they typically do and give that victim the space to let the officers know what's going on," Capt. Steven Goldberg said. - WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT BLACK AFRICANS IN MAINE? |

Maine Gov. Paul LePage (R) just can’t stop talking about black people
1. “Tell ’em to kiss my butt." — LePage to a reporter about the Maine NAACP in 2011. LePage announced he would not be attending Martin Luther King Jr. Day events because, he told a TV station, he thought the group was a special interest. 2. “Guys with the name D-Money, Smoothie, Shifty [who] come from Connecticut and New York, they come up here, they sell their heroin, they go back home [and] half the time they impregnate a young white girl before they leave.” LePage added that’s “a real sad thing because then we have another issue we have to deal with down the road." — January 2016, talking about Maine’s opioid epidemic 3. “My brain didn’t catch up to my mouth. Instead of saying Maine women, I said white women.” — LePage at a news conference in January 2016, apologizing for saying “white women” but otherwise not backing down from the above comments 4. “Let me tell you something: Black people come up the highway and they kill Mainers. You ought to look into that!” — LePage having a confrontation with reporters in July 5. “Let me tell you this, explain to you, I made the comment that black people are trafficking in our state. Now ever since I said that comment I’ve been collecting every single drug dealer who has been arrested in our state. I don’t ask them to come to Maine and sell their poison, but they come and I will tell you that 90-plus percent of those pictures in my book, and it’s a three-ringed binder, are black and Hispanic people from Waterbury, Connecticut, the Bronx and Brooklyn.” — LePage to a black businessman at a town hall in August. (An Associated Press review of that binder found that about one-third show black and Hispanic defendants.) 6. “I have helped many, many families. In fact, I even brought a black person into my family. Nobody wants to give you the real story, but the fact of the matter is, sir, I am not a racist.” — LePage to the businessman at the same town hall. (About that “black person” he brought into his family: LePage welcomed a Jamaican teenager into his family for several years, but he is not, as LePage likes to say or The Fix originally wrote, his adopted son.) 7. “You shoot at the enemy. You try to identify the enemy and the enemy right now, the overwhelming majority of people coming in, are people of color or people of Hispanic origin.” — LePage in a news conference in August. (The American Civil Liberties Union of Maine said statistics show that white people are more likely to sell drugs than black people.) [How Maine Republicans could force Gov. Paul LePage to resign] 8. “You know and I know and everybody in the state knows that the overwhelming majority of the people that have been arrested this year, coming out of Connecticut and New York, have been black and Hispanic, it’s not a matter of race, it’s a matter of fact. Are there some white ones? Yes, there are some white people.” — LePage responding to a reporter's question in August when asked why the race of the accused drug dealers in his binder matters. |

Black man convicted in Metro escalator assault arrested again, and again, and again WASHINGTON - Elijah Jeremiah Smith may finally be out of chances with D.C.’s criminal justice system. Smith made headlines in 2015 when he was caught on surveillance video knocking out a 69-year old (White) man with a series of punches on a metro escalator. The 19-year-old D.C. resident was already on probation at the time he was arrested and charged in that attack, and after picking up another assault charge while awaiting trial, eventually received a seven month jail sentence, plus probation. As a teen with a relatively minor criminal record, Smith was sentenced under the controversial Youth Rehabilitation Act. Free from prison, but still on probation, Smith likely blew his second chance in January. A review of MPD and court records by WUSA9 shows Smith was arrested three times in a less-than-two-week stretch in January, charged with two assaults and one assault with a deadly weapon. - (Black-on-white) |

Black friend of black man who claims wrongful murderconviction: He wasn’t there that night — I was A Brooklyn man who claims he was wrongfully convicted for the 1995 murder of a 4-year-old girl not only had no part in the fatal shooting — he wasn’t even present at the scene that night, his childhood friend testified Monday. Terrence Morgan told the court he knew his pal Sundhe Moses couldn’t have fired the stray shots that killed little Shamone Johnson in August 1995 — because Morgan himself was there to “shoot up” the benches outside the Brownsville projects, as were others, but not Moses. |

Black Cop killer’ trial gets underway without the alleged shooter Prosecutors described in opening statements Monday the chilling moment a career criminal shot dead an NYPD cop during a foot chase in East Harlem — but the defendant wasn’t around to hear it. Tyrone Howard, 33, refused to attend the first day of his murder trial in Manhattan — part of his “efforts to do whatever he can to derail the proceedings,” said Justice Michael Obus. While he sat in a cell, Assistant District Attorney Linda Ford told jurors that Officer Randolph Holder, 33, and his partner came face-to-face with Howard on an E. 120th St footbridge following a drug-related shootout in October 2015. |

(White) Daughter of knife rampage victim Darlene Horton demands (black muslim African Somalie) killer is locked up indefinitely The daughter of a US teacher stabbed to death during a mentally ill teenager’s rampage through Russell Square today called for her killer to be locked up indefinitely. Darlene Horton, 64, was knifed in the back by 19-year-old Zakaria Bulhan as he roamed through central London armed with a kitchen knife while in the grip of a psychotic episode. She suffered wounds to her lung and heart and died in the street, on August 3 last year, just a day before she and her husband were due to return home to Tallahassee in Florida. Today at the Old Bailey, Bulhan pleaded guilty to manslaughter by diminished responsibility and charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm of five other victims. He gave his father the slip at a mosque hours before going on the rampage. A police officer said he was "very close" to shooting Bulhan dead, saying: "It had to be a pre-emptive strike. We could not let him get around the corner." - (Black-on-white) |

DEATH PENALTY WON’T BE SOUGHT IN (BLACK PACK ON WHITE) BLINN STUDENT MURDER The death penalty will not be sought for any of the four defendants accused of killing a Blinn College student in 2014. Four people have been charged with the murder of 20-year-old Trey Kurtz. Only one of the men accused was 18 years old at the time of the crime. Several years ago, the Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional to seek death against anyone that was under 18 at the time of the offense Kurtz’ body was discovered lying in the intersection of Seelhorst and Dark Streets near downtown Brenham just before midnight on October 30, 2014. He was pronounced dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound to the head. 19-year old Michael Charles Dixon Jr., 18-year old J.B. Wright, 18-year old Deperrion Lott, and 20-year old Jordan Alexander Graves, all of Brenham, have been charged with murder. Only Graves, who was 18 at the time of Kurtz’s death, would be subject to being sentenced to be executed. However, District Attorney Julie Renken says they do not plan on seeking capital punishment on him under the facts they have about his involvement. A trial date has not been set. - (Black-on-white) |
