Racist blacktivist terrorist Lakeem Keon Scott - Bristol shooting suspect indicted by Grand Jury  JOHNSON CITY – A Bristol man was indicted by a Sullivan County Grand Jury after a shooting spree in the East Tennessee town last week. Lakeem Keon Scott, 37, faces charges for first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and employing a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says Scott randomly shot people on Volunteer Parkway during the early morning hours of July 7. A Days Inn clerk was shot through the window at 2:20 a.m. The suspect later shot at vehicles along the roadway. Victims include David Whitman Davis, Kathy Fleenor, Harold Fleener, Deborah Watts, Officer Matthew Cousins, Officer Johnathan Forbes and Officer Ronald Cowan. Police officers exchanged gunfire with Scott. Scott was shot and transported to Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was later transferred to the Sullivan County Jail. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Youngstown man re-sentenced in 2010 shooting of elderly (White) couple    YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A Youngstown man was re-sentenced on Tuesday for the shooting of an elderly couple several years ago. Aubrey Toney was sentenced to 29 years to life in prison — the same sentence he received in June 2014 for the shooting death of Thomas Repchic and the wounding of his wife Jacqueline in September 2010. Investigators said Repchic was mistaken for someone else with the same car. A jury found Toney guilty of murder and felonious assault with a firearms specification. His lawyers appealed in the case after the 2014 sentence. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Murder Suspect Fatally Shot (white) Acquaintance in Car: Prosecutors  Authorities have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a man found dead inside a car earlier this year. Burlington County prosecutors announced Monday that 34-year-old Quinnizel Clark, of Belleville, is charged with murder and a weapons offense. He was arrested Friday and remains jailed on $500,000 cash bail. The charges stem from the death of 68-year-old James Dewyer. He was found January 3 in a car parked in Mansfield Township. Prosecutors say Clark and Dewyer were acquaintances who had spent time together earlier that day. They say Clark drove Dewyer's car to the site where it was found and shot him multiple times before fleeing on foot. - (Black-on-white) |

Police: (Black) Teen punched, carjacked, then ran over (White) woman  ST. PETERSBURG - A violent carjacking Monday morning left a St. Petersburg woman feeling fortunate she wasn't seriously hurt. Alexandra Rote, 54, was pumping air into her tires at a Wawa gas station on 22nd Avenue North at a little after 11 a.m. and had left her car running. A few seconds later, a stranger was in her driver's seat. "I'm like, 'whoa, what's going on?' Rote said. "I started to grab him and he just started to push me and punch me and he was shouting obscenities, which I won't repeat, and I was trying to honk the horn. I was yelling at the top of my lungs, 'help me, help me, help me!' And then he finally pushed me to the ground and he ran over my foot as he took off and escaped." St. Petersburg Police believe the suspect is a young teenager, between 14 and 16 years old. "The last thing you expect is for somebody to jump in and try to steal your car. And then to go as far as to punch you and hurt you in an effort to get away with it," said Yolanda Fernandez, a spokesperson for St. Pete Police. "It's a violent crime, it's a very serious so we want to make sure that we catch him." Rote said it took several hours for the reality of the ordeal to begin setting in. "It was terrifying. I'm still I guess a little in shock. I just broke down and cried for the first time," she said. "I feel like I'm a strong person and I tried really hard to fight him back, but I couldn't." Rote has a badly injured foot, along with some cuts and bruises. She's already had the locks to her apartment changed because her keys were in the vehicle. But above all, she felt fortunate she's already back on her feet. "I guess he could have pulled a gun out and shot me, so I'm really blessed and I'm thankful that I'm here and I'm talking to you," she said. Indictment in (White) woman's slaying reveals crime committed on (black) suspect's birthday  LOUISVILLE -- A Jefferson County grand jury indicted a 25-year-old man in the May shooting death of a woman in Louisville's Portland neighborhood. On May 9, Louisville Metro Police found Amber Stepp, 28, shot in the middle of a street near the intersection of 25th and Rowan. The man now charged in the case, Brandon Williamson, celebrated his 25th birthday on the day of the crime, a comparison of court and jail records show. The indictment did not officer any additional details other than Williamson was also indicted on gun possession charge. - (Black-on-white) |

(Yet another white) woman (murdered by her black boyfriend)   WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita police have identified two victims in a murder-suicide that happened Wednesday afternoon at the Brookwood Apartments in the 1700 block of South Rock Road. Wichita Police Lt. Todd Ojile identified the victim as 24-year-old Emily Sonneman and the suspect as 26-year-old Dion Stevens. Police believe the two were arguing in an apartment Wednesday shortly before the shootings. “We believe that Ms. Sonneman had gone to the house to return property to Mr. Stevens,” said Lt. Todd Ojile, Wichita Police. “It is still unclear what happened in the apartment, but we know that at some point in time witnesses heard screaming from the apartment.” Police said Sonneman jumped off the balcony to flee. They said that’s when the suspect ran after her and fired several shots causing Sonneman to collapse. Police arrived, and Sonneman was able to give police the gunman’s name before being transported to the hospital where she later died. “Officers were able to contact further witnesses who gave a location for the shooter which was in one of the apartment buildings,” Lt.Ojile said. Police found Stevens with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police say the two had dated for eight to nine months, and the couple had no history of domestic violence. - (Black-on-white) |

Canada: Family of dead woman plead for the return of her (mixed-race) five-year-old daughter  The family of a woman found dead in her northwest Calgary home has issued an emotional plea for the safe return of her five-year-old daughter. At a news conference Tuesday afternoon, they begged for the person who abducted five-year-old Taliyah Leigh Marsman to return the child. “Please return her. Drop her off at an RCMP station, Calgary Police Service station or grocery store, gas station, wherever you want. Contact the family; we’ll come and pick her up. There will be no questions asked. We love her, we miss her and we want her back,” said Scott Hamilton, the uncle of Taliyah’s mother, Sara Baillie. Baillie was found dead in her Panorama Hills home on Monday evening. Her daughter, Taliyah, is missing. Calgary Police issued an AMBER Alert early Tuesday morning. Taliyah is believed to have been abducted by an unknown person. She is mixed race, with a slim build, brown curly hair, and blue eyes. Police say they have spoken to several family members to try to track down the girl, including her estranged father who, they say, is cooperating with the investigation.
Police say he is not a suspect but the couple has a history of domestic violence and were recently in court over their daughter. Taliyah’s mother and father were known to police because of a history of reported and unreported domestic violence. - (Canada) - (Black-on-white?) |

(White) Woman killed in SC K&W Cafeteria parking lot was to testify against her (black) boyfriend in murder trial     A Shallotte, N.C., woman shot and killed in a North Myrtle Beach parking lot was a witness for the state in April in a 2012 Mecklenburg County, N.C., killing. The case ended in a hung jury. North Myrtle Beach police are searching for two (black) men in connection with the 11 a.m. Saturday shooting death of Amanda Renee’ Fisher, 29, according to city of North Myrtle Beach spokesman Pat Dowling. Dowling said witnesses outside the K&W Cafeteria at 1621 U.S. 17 N. on Saturday reported hearing a gunshot ring out and then seeing a man pull a body from a white vehicle before he and another occupant fled in the vehicle. The two men being sought, whose identities are unknown, “were in the company of the victim on the evening prior to and the morning of her death,” Dowling said. On April 12, Fisher begrudgingly testified for the state against her boyfriend Deonte Lanier, charged in the 2012 Mecklenburg County killing. At the time she lived in Mount Holly, N.C. When she suddenly moved to Myrtle Beach to avoid testifying, a judge had her arrested and held to ensure her appearance. IMPD officer's house shot 5 times, blacktivist terrorist ex-con in custody INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was taken into custody on suspicion of shooting at an IMPD officer's house and vehicle Tuesday morning. Somebody shot at an IMPD officer's house and police car on the near east side around 2 a.m. The officer's wife and 10-year-old son were in the house at the time. Investigators found 17 shell casings at the scene. There were three bullet holes in the police car and five in the house. Police had a suspect denoscription based on witnesses and surveillance video. The witnesses told officers they saw a black man driving a tan, mid-2000s Chevy Cobalt and had parked the car a few houses east of the house. They said they saw the suspect get out of the car, yell "F--- the police," and shoot at the house and police car. One witness also said they saw somebody matching the suspect's denoscription walking around the officer's house Friday. They said the person was wearing a white T-shirt with "Black Lives Matter" on it. The suspect, March Ratney, 27, was identified at the scene by witnesses. He was wearing a black shirt with the words "f--- the police" on the front, and "black lives matter" on the back. Police weren't able to provide any information about Ratney's involvement with the movement, if any. The officer whose house was shot at arrested Ratney in 2008, police said. - (Drudge) |
First Black Miss Alabama Apologizes After Calling Dallas Cop Killer A ‘Martyr’ The first black Miss Alabama apologized on Monday after suggesting that Micah Johnson, who fatally shot five Dallas police officers last week, was a “martyr.” Kalyn Chapman James, speaking to WPMI, an Alabama station, said she has received threats since posting an emotional video to Facebook on Sunday. “I don’t want to feel this way,” the 1993 pageant winner said in the original two-minute video, which was taken down late Tuesday morning. “I’m dealing with a bit of guilt because I don’t feel sad for the officers that lost their lives, and I know that that’s not really my heart. I value human life, and I want to feel sad for them, but I can’t help but [feel] like the shooter was a martyr.” |

Baton Rouge authorities say they've foiled plot to attack officers  Law enforcement officials in Baton Rouge say four suspects broke into a local pawn shop and stole guns with the intent to attack police officers, just days after the officer-involved shooting of Alton Sterling. Police said the burglary occurred Saturday (July 9) at the Cash America Pawn Store on 3347 Government Street. One of the suspects was arrested on or near the scene of the burglary with a handgun, a second suspect was arrested after the burglary on Saturday, and a third, a 13-year-old boy, was arrested on Monday. Police recovered six handguns from the three suspects, as well as a BB gun pistol. Another two handguns are still on the street, and police are concerned that they remain with the fourth person, who remains at large. Police said they still have not identified the fourth person. Two of the people arrested were identified as Antonio Thomas, 17 and Malik Bridgewater, 20. The 13-year-old was not identified. Thomas was arrested on the scene of the burglary; Bridgewater was arrested on Sunday at his home. |

(Black) Nashville officer suspended over Black Panthers Facebook pic NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Authorities say a veteran Metro Nashville police officer has been suspended for posting a Black Panthers photo as the profile picture on his personal Facebook page. The police department confirmed to news outlets that Officer Christopher Taylor was decommissioned Monday after he posted a famous photo of Black Panther National Chairman Bobby Seale and Huey Newton, both of whom are shown armed. Decommissioning is a non-punitive, administrative action in which an officer’s policing authority is temporarily suspended, pending an investigation. It is unclear whether Taylor posted the photo before or after last week’s police shootings of black men in Louisiana and Minnesota, and the retaliatory killings of five police officers by a black sniper in Dallas. Taylor, an 11-year veteran with the department, said the image is related to his interest in history. He has since removed it. |

Officials: (Black) Man killed mother, 70-year-old in Arkansas before fatally shot by officers The investigation into the officer-involved shooting in Oklahoma that killed Arkansas double homicide suspect Andre Johnson will take “several weeks minimum,” said an official with the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation. Johnson, 40, was the suspect in two shooting deaths in Horatio on Saturday afternoon. The Sevier County sheriff's office identified the victims as Don L. Brown, 70, of Horatio and Deborah Johnson, 66, who lived in the 100 block of Cottage Hill Drive, which was the homicide's location. Robert Gentry, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, said Deborah Johnson was Andre Johnson's mother. The chase reportedly ended when Johnson turned down a dead-end street. The release said he exited his vehicle and shot at a police cruiser. According to witnesses, Johnson then ran to another police car and shot at its windshield. Four officers — two from Broken Bow, a McCurtain County sheriff’s deputy and an officer from the Choctaw Nation tribal police — then shot Johnson multiple times. Three (blacks) charged with sellling Cleveland teens for sex at suburban hotels   CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A Cuyahoga County grand jury indicted three people Tuesday on sex trafficking charges involving 14 to 18-year-old girls girls forced to work as prostitutes in suburban Cleveland hotels. Treyvon L. Williamson and Sharonika D. Allen are charged with forcing four girls to work as prostitutes during the month of May while threatening them with physical punishment. They face a combined 20 felony charges including trafficking in persons, compelling prostitution and kidnapping. Reginald D. Williams is charged in a separate case that accuses him of keeping two 15 year old girls working as prostitution slaves. Williams is charged with two counts of trafficking in persons, two counts of compelling prostitution, one count of commercial sexual depiction of a minor and one count of possessing criminal tools. |
(Black) New Haven pastor faces sex assault charges NEW HAVEN, CT - A pastor in New Haven has been charged in six cases of sexual assault involving one minor, according to police. Walter Williams, 59, of Northford, is believed to have as many as six sexual encounters with the girl between July 2015 and April 2016, police said. Williams is pastor of the Walk of Faith Church of Christ on Fairmont Avenue in New Haven. Police said they began investigating when the mother learned of the relationship between her daughter and Williams. The mother read messages on her daughter's phone. The victim told police the details of the encounters. |
(Black) bank robbery suspect is wanted sex offender ODESSA -- A man who police say robbed two Odessa banks is a registered sex offender in the State of California. It appears he has not registered as a sex offender in Texas. The man is known to use an alias and is now suspected of robbing two banks this week in Odessa. 44-year-old Hilarry White, AKA Kevin Eugene Brown, is a registered sex offender in California, according to the state's Megan's Law site. The website states that White had been incarcerated for Lewd or Lascivious Acts with a Child Under 14 Years of Age. |
Brooklyn man charged in attempted rape near Prospect Park A Brooklyn man accused of attempting to rape a woman as she walked alone near Prospect Park was indicted Tuesday on charges including first-degree sex abuse and first-degree attempted rape and ordered held without bail. Boubacar Diallo, 21, stalked the 25-year old victim on Ocean Avenue during the early morning hours on May 25 before pushing her up against a parked car and fondling her breasts while kissing her neck, cops said. He was accompanied by Ibrahima Diallo, who is also accused of participating in the attack. |
Man, 23, charged with sex abuse of girl under age 12 A Birmingham man faces multiple charges in the sex abuse of a young girl. Quillez Rhaheim Abernathy, 23, was indicted several weeks ago, according to court documents made public Monday. He is charged with two counts of first-degree sex abuse and two counts of sex abuse of a child under the age of 12. Abernathy was actually indicted last year on charges involving the same victim, and then arrested a month later – on June 5, 2015. In October, court records show, a plea agreement was drawn up that required a 10-year prison sentence, with two years to serve, but that agreement was never made official. |
Leesville man arrested on rape and kidnapping charges LEESVILLE, La. - On July 10, a female approached the Leesville Police Department and reported that she had been raped. It was reported that a black male came to her house on a bicycle and asked if he could mow her grass. The victim agreed to the let the individual cut her lawn. A short time later, the black male entered her home and forced her to have sex with him at knife point. The suspect then attempted to force the victim to leave the residence to get money at the ATM from her account at which time she was able to escape. The suspect additionally stole items from the victim prior to leaving the residence. Officers and Investigators with Leesville Police Department immediately began investigating the incident. After an intense and thorough investigation, the suspect was identified as Sherman Holloway. Holloway was located at a residence in Leesville where he was taken into custody without incident. Holloway, 23 of Leesville, was booked into the Leesville City Jail on the charges of first degree rape, aggravated battery, home invasion, aggravated kidnapping, armed robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia. |

McClendon is one of three teens who confronted a woman in her garage on Parkridge Drive back in May. The victim says the teens took her cell phone and keys, then drove off in her car. One suspect stayed behind and sexually assaulted the woman in her garage. |
Buffalo man accused of raping child multiple times  BUFFALO, N.Y. — Four counts of second-degree rape, two counts of third-degree rape and one count of endangering the welfare of a child are coming against a Buffalo man. Michael Austin, 52, is accused of raping a child younger than 16 multiple times over a six-month period. Austin was arraigned in court where he was jailed on $250,000. Norfolk man accused of sexually assaulting 5-year-old girl NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Newport News Police say they have arrested a man after investigating a report of a sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl. Special Victims Detectives say 29-year-old Edward Cannon would frequently babysit the girl and her older sister. A suspect — later identified as identified as Cannon — allegedly sexually assaulted the girl on several occasions in 2015 and 2016. |
Man rapes woman while 4-year-old is in bed A 31-year-old man was arrested after Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies say he raped a woman last week while a 4-year-old sat crying in the same bed next to them. Antwon Smith faces charges of sexual battery, aggravated assault and battery and was in the Palm Beach County Jail on $100,000 bail as of Wednesday evening. The woman told investigators she was in a relationship with Smith up until they broke up two weeks prior to the incident. |

Syracuse man indicted for sexually abusing 4 children; more victims possible, DA says SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man has been accused of sexually abusing four children from summer of 2014 through November 2015, according to the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office. Kim Soriano, 57, of 109 Fourth North St, Apt. 2, was indicted on one count of course of sexual conduct against a child and one count of first-degree rape, which are both violent felonies. He was also indicted on two counts of felony predatory sexual assault against a child and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said. |

Man charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor Deaunte Lamar Turner, 25, of 245 Magnolia Ave. 6 in Greenwood was arrested Monday evening and charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. An officer with the Greenwood Police Department met with a woman and her 12-year-old niece Monday who said she was raped by a man behind a house on Neel Street, according to a report. |
‘Violent (black) Sexual Predator’ Sought After 2 Attacks on Women in West L.A.: LAPD Two women were violently attacked and sexually assaulted about a half-mile apart in a largely residential neighborhood in West Los Angeles, and police on Tuesday asked for the public’s help finding the assailant. The crimes occurred Saturday, July 2, and on Monday, the Fourth of July, according to the Los Angeles Police Department news release. Both were in the Sawtelle neighborhood and took place on the same street, about five blocks apart. In both cases, the assailant was a black man about 25 to 30 years old with black hair and some facial hair, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 160 pounds, LAPD said. |
Five Accused in Alleged Ramapo College Sex Assault Plead Not Guilty   Four men and one woman have pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from the alleged sexual assault of a woman at a party at a Ramapo College fraternity. Prosecutors are offering the five plea deals stemming from the 2014 incident in which a woman who attended the party said she woke up undressed the next morning in a dorm room. Doctors found she had injuries consistent with non-consensual sex. Prosecutors are offering 26-year-old Christian Lopez of Secaucus and 20-year-old Nakeem Gardner of Paterson a deal to plead guilty to second-degree sexual assault and serve 85 percent of an 8-year prison sentence. Staten Island residents Christopher Rainone and Justin Sommers and Jordyn Massood of Wayne were offered a deal to plead guilty to endangerment. |

Defense Attorney Julia Haji told Queens Supreme Court Justice Peter Vallone Jr. that cops had misidentified Jerome Blakely, 44, as the assailant. He was arrested Monday after security footage caught a heavyset suspect pushing the 69-year-old Egwuatu Amalu down the stairs last Wednesday at the 36th St. M and R subway station in Long Island City. |
Psych patient gets 17 years to life for brutal shower killing A 23-year-old psychiatric patient was sentenced to 17 years to life in prison Tuesday for the murder of another man in the showers at a Brooklyn hospital. Spence Andrews beat 47-year-old Conrad Delimar before strangling him with a towel in a private shower stall at Interfaith Medical Center in 2013. Andrews, 20 years old at the time of the murder, had been admitted by his family just one day earlier because of erratic behavior and a suicide attempt. “The victim was brutally beaten death, he suffered 13 lacerations to the face and head, a skull fracture, and was strangled and pulverized,” Assistant District Attorney Iris Das reminded Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Miriam Cyrulnik. |
Man pleads guilty to 2 Trenton killings, faces 38 years in prison  TRENTON — A city man who killed two teenagers in two separate shootings in June 2013 has admitted to the crimes as part of a plea deal with the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office. The plea deal calls for Alton Jones, 24, to serve two consecutive 19-year prison terms for the deaths of Rayshawn Ransom and Tierra Green, both who were 19 years old, said Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie Katz. |
Wisconsin woman accused of using chicken coop for prostitution  STAR PRAIRIE, Wis. — A Wisconsin woman is accused of neglecting her children, who authorities say were left behind while she slipped outside to prostitute herself inside a modified chicken coop. Sarah M. Bradehoft, 27, of Star Prairie, was charged June 23 in Polk County Circuit Court with two felonies — child neglect causing bodily harm and second-degree recklessly endangering safety — and three misdemeanor counts of prostitution. Her six children were removed from the home after Polk County sheriff’s investigators executed a search warrant there. According to sheriff’s office reports, lab test results indicated one child was exposed to amphetamines, cocaine and methamphetamine. None of the six children was older than 10, according to reports. |

NYC: Teacher formerly exiled to ‘rubber room’ avoids jail time |
Competency hearing set for (black killer) in connection to March 5 (black-on-White) double-shooting  A competency hearing has been set in Carter County District Court for a Sulphur man accused in a March 5 shooting in Ardmore that claimed the life of one victim and severely injured a second victim. Court documents show the hearing to determine if Joshua Scott is competent to stand trial is set for 2:30 p.m. Sept. 15. The 26-year-old is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Erik Tucker, 35, Ardmore, and shooting with intent to kill in the wounding of Jennifer Alexander, 34, Choctaw. The double-shooting occurred in a residence located in the 700 block of C Street NW. He also faces a third charge of felonious possession of the gun he used to shoot Tucker and Alexander. Tucker died at the scene. Alexander was airlifted to a Plano, Texas, hospital were she underwent surgery for her wounds. Marcus Rutter, 17, admitted that he broke into Mathewson's home Dec. 15, 2014, and robbed and killed her, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office. He pleaded guilty in Lancaster County Court to first-degree murder and related counts including burglary, robbery, receiving stolen property and access device fraud. Mathewson, 32, taught sixth grade at Brownstown Elementary. Rutter and Thomas Moore, 26, were charged with sexually assaulting and beating her to death after breaking into her home in the 700 block of North Franklin Street during the night. (Black) Man gets life in (White) fireman's murder   ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- One of the suspects in the murder of a volunteer fireman entered a guilty plea on Monday. The Rowan County District Attorney's Office says Khari McClelland pled guilty to first-degree murder and other charges in a move that will spare his life; the plea agreement means McClelland will receive a life-plus prison sentence, rather than going to trial and potentially facing the death penalty if he'd been found guilty. McClelland is accused in the 2013 death of volunteer fireman Marcus Kauffman, 25. Kauffman and his wife were returning home from a Thanksgiving trip when they noticed a suspicious vehicle in front of their home on Chenault Road. Kauffman dropped his wife off at a friend's house nearby and returned home, reportedly to find the suspects taking items from the home and loading them up into a vehicle. At that point, Kauffman called 911; during the call he reported shots being fired. Kauffman was found dead inside his vehicle in a wooded area near his home; he had a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Kauffman was hospitalized for weeks before his family opted to remove him from life support. Kauffman's wife, Maryann, was pregnant at the time of his murder; their son was born just two months after his father passed away. Also accused in Kauffman's murder is Jaylend Turner, who also faces the charge of first-degree murder. Two others, Tramel Devon Hart and Michael Dwayne Teasley, were charged with accessory after the fact; it's not clear if any of the three remaining suspects have entered into plea agreements or if they've stood trial. - (Black-on-white) |

(White female) Chipley restaurant owner in critical condition after shooting (by black)  CHIPLEY — Authorities have released the names of the victim and suspect in a shooting incident in a popular local restaurant July 10. The Chipley Police Department was dispatched around 4 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report of gunshots near the Colonial Restaurant downtown. Chief Kevin Crews said the owner of the restaurant, located at 686 5th Street, had just closed the restaurant when she was approached by a gunman, 20-year-old Emmanual Lockhart of Cottondale. Police arrived to find the restaurant’s owner, Jody Rhoda, on the ground behind the restaurant with multiple gunshot wounds. Rhoda was transported to a Panama City hospital in critical condition, where she underwent surgery for her wounds. Lockhart, a former employee of the restaurant, was later taken into custody without incident. He is charged with attempted murder, robbery with a firearm and burglary. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) will spend at least 67 years in jail for Bedford home invasion horror   MANCHESTER - A Massachusetts man was convicted Monday of aggravated felonious sexual assault, burglary and multiple other charges for a vicious attack on a Bedford doctor and his wife inside their home in 2012. Charles Normil, 35, was sentenced to no less than 67 years in prison on nine charges - sentences on all charges to run consecutively once he's completed a term of 25-30 years he is currently serving on an unrelated conviction in Massachusetts. Normil was convicted of severely beating Dr. Eduardo and Sonia Quesada, stabbing both with a screwdriver and sexually assaulting Sonia Quesada. The couple's ordeal was told in graphic detail over the three-week trial, which concluded with the verdict and sentencing Monday in Hillsborough County Superior Court-Northern District. "This has been a horrific ordeal," Eduardo Quesada said as he addressed Judge Gillian Abramson before she considered the sentence. "It's a wide circle of people that were affected by this horror." Quesada emotionally thanked the investigators involved in the case, but noted nothing would bring back his wife. Sonia Quesada survived the attack and ran to a neighbor's for help, then died of a prenoscription drug overdose six weeks later. |

James, 49, formerly of Providence, fatally stabbed 46-year-old Terry Chiodo after she boarded a Rhode Island Transportation Authority Bus in 2013. James, Chiodo's estranged ex-husband, got on the bus ahead of Chiodo's regular stop knowing she would be on the bus. The cold-blooded killing shocked the Portsmouth community. It was the first murder for the town since 2002 and served as a stark reminder of the scourge of domestic violence and its prevalence everywhere. “Terry Chiodo did everything she could to escape the abuse and terror of Christopher James, yet he tracked her down and murdered her in cold blood. PAUL, Minn. — An officer suffered a spinal fracture over the weekend during Black Lives Matter protests here, authorities said. The officer, whose name has not been released, had a large block of concrete dropped on his head during Saturday's protests that brought Interstate 94 to a halt for more than five hours. More than 21 officers were injured and 100 people were arrested that night. Fireworks, rocks, bricks, glass bottles and chunks of concrete were directed at officers, some hitting them in the head. Someone threw a Molotov cocktail at officers as well, a St. Paul Police spokesman said. |

(Black) Man arrested after groping blind student at Broward College, police say DAVIE, Fla. - A man was arrested Friday for groping a blind woman last month at Broward College, authorities said. Dovaun Fuller, 23, faces multiple charges, including battery, stalking, abuse of a disabled adult and violation of probation. According to an arrest report, the victim was using her walking cane to get around the college at 3501 Davie Road June 29 when Fuller approached her near the door of a building while she was waiting for the rain to stop. The woman told police that Fuller asked for her phone number, and she felt uncomfortable so she tried to leave the building in the rain to get away from him. Police said surveillance video shows Fuller grabbing the woman from behind and groping her vagina over her clothing. |
Off-duty officer confronts men who robbed senior in Lake View  An off-duty Chicago Police officer witnessed the armed robbery of a senior Sunday afternoon in the North Side Lake View neighborhood and confronted the suspects, who were later arrested, police said. About 3 p.m. Sunday, a 63-year-old man was walking when he was approached by a man who punched him in the face. The victim fell the the ground, and the suspect pointed a handgun at him and announced a robbery. The man started shouting for help as a second suspect appeared, and they struck him with the gun and their fists while searching his clothes for valuables. An off-duty officer nearby heard the man’s yells and confronted the suspects, drawing his service weapon and announcing that he was a cop. The suspects ran away with the victim’s wallet. The officer chased them and called dispatchers to give a detailed denoscription of the suspects. 19th District officers who responded to the call saw two men on the street matching the denoscriptions. After a brief foot chase and search, they were taken into custody and positively identified by the victim. A weapon was also recovered. David S. Shabazz, 20, was charged with aggravated battery to a senior, armed robbery and unlawful use of a weapon, all felonies. Juwan Askew, 18, was charged with aggravated battery to a senior and armed robbery, both felonies; and a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest. |

Police say officers responded to a shooting call around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10. They found a man outside of a with multiple gunshot wounds. Police say the victim, along with two other friends in their car when the suspects approached them. Investigators believe a “high-risk transaction” was taking place moments before the shooting. Both suspects ran off after the shooting, while the victim’s friends drove off, then stopped to call 911. Police describe the suspects this way: Black males 5’8” – 5’10” tall. Judge Timika Lane sentenced 61-year-old Evelyn Cortez to ten years probation and 100 hours of community service teaching literacy. Cortez, the former principal at Cayuga Elementary School pleaded guilty in February to perjury, tampering with public records and conspiracy. She was one of five Cayuga educators charged in a wide-ranging state investigation into manipulated PSSA scores. |

Bi-polar biracial Black Lives M***** supporter killed after breaking into off-duty St. Louis officer's home over Facebook argument An off-duty St. Louis county police officer fatally shot a man he argued with about Black Lives Matter on Facebook after the suspect broke into the cop’s home. Police said the alleged home intruder, Tyler Gebhard, grabbed a concrete planter and smashed it through the unidentified officer’s home window when the cop’s wife wouldn’t let him in. Gebhard’s uncle, Patrick Brogan, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the officer and his nephew met through a church connection, and had a fallout after arguing on Facebook over Black Lives Matter. Gebhard, a former football star at Affton High School, was biracial and supported Black Lives Matter’s goals but did not join the protests, the uncle told the newspaper.Gebhard’s family said the 20-year-old suffered from bi-polar disorder and would periodically stop taking his medication, worsening his condition. Police said Gebhard had made several threats to the officer’s family and other members of the community. |

A first-degree murder indictment in Monroe, Louisiana, alleges Tellis stole a debit card belonging to Ming-Chen Hsiao, an exchange student attending the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and then "brutally murdered her by repeatedly stabbing her and letting her body rot and decompose" until she was discovered 10 days after she was believed to have died on July 29, 2015. Bond set for (black) suspect (in murder of White woman)  Bond was set at $250,000 for the man charged with the murder of Sumrall resident Kimberly Raynes. During an initial appearance Friday in Lamar County Justice Court, Municipal Court Judge George Gunter set bond for Donald King Jr., 35, at $250,000 for first-degree murder and $10,000 for possession of a weapon by a felon. A preliminary hearing for King, 35, of Sumrall is scheduled for noon Monday. The Mississippi Department of Corrections has a hold on King for a probation violation. Gunter said it will be left up to MDOC officials whether that organization's hold against King is dropped and he is allowed to bond out of jail. "He violated his probation ... and that being the case, he'll probably wind up going back to Parchman and serving the balance of that sentence that he's probated for," Gunter told Raynes' husband, Jamie Raynes. (Black) Man arrested in connection to murder of (White) Colleton County security guard  ROUND O, S.C. — The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in connection to a shooting that killed a security guard and injured another in Round O. Andre N. Crawford, 23, is charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime. The shooting incident took place at Club Leons on Saturday, May 28. Dallas Shooting Leaves 5 Police Officers Dead - “Some were shot in the back” (black racist) Suspect Is Killed       During an hourslong standoff after the attack, in which two civilians were also wounded, one suspect told police negotiators that “he was upset about Black Lives Matter,” the Dallas police chief, David O. Brown, said on Friday. “He said he was upset about the recent police shootings,” Chief Brown said. “The suspect said he was upset at white people. The suspect stated he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.” The police killed that suspect using an explosive delivered by a robot, he said, and arrested three other people. Deonte Lanier’s freedom could depend on whether jurors believe Amanda Fisher’s testimony on Tuesday or what police say she told them shortly after the 2012 shooting death of Johnny Peay. Lanier, 25, is on trial this week, charged with first-degree murder. If convicted, he faces mandatory life imprisonment without parole. Co-defendant Connell “Tigo” Muskelly is expected to testify against Lanier later in the trial. Tuesday, Fisher, Lanier’s girlfriend, took center stage. She told the jury she didn’t want to be in the witness chair. Prosecutors say the 29-year-old Mount Holly woman suddenly moved to Myrtle Beach after being subpoenaed to testify against Lanier. The trial judge had her arrested and jailed to make sure she turned up in court. On the night of Sept. 26, 2012, according to Fisher’s testifimony Tuesday, she and the man she affectionately called “Big Daddy” argued at her Gaston County home before Lanier drove off on his scooter. She said he returned the next morning as Fisher was watching a TV news report about Peay’s killing the night before. “He was like, ‘Oh s--t,’ ” Fisher recalled. She said Lanier walked into the kitchen and called a friend on his cellphone. She said she heard Lanier say, “Tell your unc to hide his gun.” When Lanier came back to the couch, “I asked him, ‘Did you have something to do with that (killing)?’ ” Fisher said. Lanier asked how she could ask such a question, she said, then punched a hole in a nearby wall. In his questioning of Fisher, assistant prosecutor Jay Ashendorf spent particular time asking her about a sawed-off shotgun she says her boyfriend kept behind the door of their bedroom. “Do you love the defendant?” Ashendorf asked. “Yes sir, I do,” Fisher replied. “Do you want to see him go away to prison for the rest of his life?” “No sir, I don’t.” 
An African-American dishwasher lost his job after losing his cool and breaking a stained-glass panel in Yale’s Calhoun residential college dining hall that depicted slaves carrying bales of cotton. The dishwasher, Corey Menafee, said he used a broomstick to knock the panel to the floor. He said he was tired of looking at the “racist, very degrading” image. 
A city public-school teacher and Occupy Wall Street demonstrator who won back his job and $260,000 in pay after a protracted court fight, evaded jail on Monday for his involvement in two October 2013 protests City College, sources said. David Suker, 50, a former Army veteran and Bronx school teacher who was pictured on The Post’s front page in January sleeping in a rubber room, was arrested on criminal charges stemming from the separate protests at the CUNY college.
Brooklyn federal prosecutors on Friday shot down convicted ex-state Sen. John Sampson’s bid for a new trial, saying a recent Supreme Court decision clearing a different politician does not apply in his case. Sampson filed a motion seeking another trial citing the high court’s decision overturning the bribery conviction of former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell. Sampson was found guilty of obstruction of justice and lying to the FBI as part of a mortgage-fraud investigation. He’s scheduled to be sentenced on July 20.
The suspect in an armed robbery that left a 78-year-old man dead and the man's wife injured at a home near Winter Haven Saturday has died, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said Sunday.
