(Black) Flint man pleads no contest in murder of security guard, avoids second trial FLINT, MI -- A Flint man has avoided a second trial in the killing of a security guard after he pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. Aaron Williams, 33, pleaded no contest Wednesday, Feb. 18, in the August 2010 killing of John "Andy" Mick. Williams and two other men previously stood trial in summer 2014 on charges from the killing. Jurors found Williams guilty in July of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, felony firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm in Mick's death. He was also charged with first-degree felony murder, but jurors were unable to return a verdict on that count. Authorities argued Mick was finishing his shift around 4 a.m. Aug. 14, 2010, at Riverview Village apartments, just north of downtown, when two men, Floyd Perkins and Kenya Hyatt, approached him and tried to steal his gun. A struggle ensued and Mick was shot to death. Andrew Neal – black thug targeted Minneapolis Cop ‘allegedly’ Andrew Neal is ‘allegedly’ the black thug who targeted and shot a Minneapolis Cop earlier this morning when the MPD officer Jordan Davis was responding to a burglary. Andrew Neal is yet another example of consequences from Al Sharpton and the media’s anti-cop rhetoric. Thankfully, the cop should be OK, though he’s in the hospital at this time. This could have been a repeat of New York City targeting cops that lead to the deaths of two NYPD officers. |

Charges upgraded against black hit-and-run driver after (White) Ocoee girl, 10, dies OCOEE, Fla. — Ocoee police said they will not re-arrest a driver who struck two children who were riding their bikes home from school, even though the man's charges were just upgraded because one of the victims died. Lastevie Howard was taken into custody last month, but he was only charged with leaving the scene of a crash with injuries and was able to quickly bond out. Howard is facing an additional charge of leaving the scene of a crash with death after one of the victims, Aubrey Clark, 10, later died from her injuries after her family took her off life support. "Although these are more serious charges, the problem is there's no indication that this defendant is not going to appear for trial, and if that's so, you can't just arbitrarily raise the bond," said a legal analyst. The additional charge of vehicular homicide comes days after Aubrey was laid to rest. Howard is also facing another charge of leaving the scene of an accident with great bodily injury. "All that could add up to more prison time." - (Black-on-white) |

Homeowner Confronts, Detains Armed (black) Robber to Save Family LEXINTON, SC - What would you do if you opened a door in your home and saw the end of a shot gun? For one Midlands man, protecting his family was all that mattered. "I figure that's what any husband or father would do," David Platts said. Platts says he discovered a man crouched in his laundry room, pointing a shotgun directly at him early Saturday morning. He says he doesn't remember anything that went through his head before he lunged at the intruder...except for one thing. "The only thing I do remember was that I knew if he got past me, he was going to go after my wife and my daughter." Within seconds, Platts says he was able to pry the shotgun from the intruder's hands. "I called for my wife and she took the shotgun out of my hand," he said. Their daughter, 17 years old, was the one who called police while wife Carrie Platts held the shotgun at the intruder. They say he broke in through their doggy door. "When David had him on the floor he just kept staring at my daughter. and now when she closes her eyes at night that's all she sees," Carrie said. "We're all having trouble sleeping. we're having trouble just being here because you're been invaded. your home's been invaded. your privacy's been taken away." Unknown to the Platts family at the time, arrest warrants say the intruder Jahmand Mcneill, along with two accomplices, broke into a home down the street, locked a couple in their shower, and threatened to kill their three children. And even though Platts' quick thinking landed the three suspects in jail, he doesn't consider himself a hero. "I see where people are calling me a hero. to me, I'm not a hero. I did what a father and husband is supposed to do." - (Black-on-white) |

NYC gives black machete-wielding thug $5K for menacing cops He menaced cops with a machete — and the city paid him for it. A Brooklyn thug who was shot by officers while waving an 18-inch blade at them and later sued the department for $3 million got a $5,000 settlement from the city — even though his own attorney said the shooting was probably justified. Ruhim Ullah, 24, had pleaded guilty to menacing a police officer after the 2010 confrontation, in which he was shot once in the leg by a cop trying to stop him from attacking officers with the machete, according to his lawyer. Despite his admission of guilt, Ullah still filed a $3 million lawsuit, accusing the officers of wrongdoing. But despite witnesses who described him as armed, the city offered a $5,000 settlement to get rid of the flimsy suit, despite the message their action sends — that crime, and potentially deadly force against cops, can pay. |

Key Witness Not Cooperating As ‘Black Madam’ Murder Trial Begins - death from 'buttocks enhancement' PHILADELPHIA – A key witness in the murder trial of the “Black Madam” has gone south on the prosecution, and she won’t testify at trial, which is scheduled to start this morning. But the judge has ruled the prosecution can present her testimony from an earlier hearing. The prosecution says Theresa Gyamfi is a necessary witness — she testified at an earlier hearing that she traveled with her friend, victim Claudia Aderotimi, from London to Philadelphia for buttocks enhancement. They lay side by side during the procedure and her friend started suffering almost immediately and was dead within hours. The defense argued the witness’ account should not be admitted because it can not be cross-examined. But the judge has ruled the defense had a full and fair cross-examination at the earlier hearing, so it comes in. Defendant Padge Victoria Windslowe has pleaded not guilty. |

Black man gets 45-year sentence in 2012 fatal Anchorage stabbing of a White woman - slashed her throat ANCHORAGE - A man convicted of fatally slashing a woman’s neck during a 2012 attempted robbery in Midtown Anchorage was sentenced to more than four decades in prison Friday morning. Superior Court Judge Michael Wolverton handed down a 65-year term with 20 years suspended for 44-year-old Vernell Mclemore, convicted of second-degree murder in the death of 67-year-old Judy Mulder. At the sentencing, Mclemore apologized to the court and Mulder’s family for his actions. Wolverton said he sounded sincere, but noted that Mclemore’s involvement with drugs weighed on his sentence as a factor in the community’s condemnation. At the time of Mclemore’s arrest in April 2012, police said that Mclemore had entered Mulder’s home on the 3200 block of LaTouche Street and fatally stabbed her. A visiting neighbor found her body in the residence’s bathroom. After his release, Mclemore will spend 10 years on probation. He was allowed to hug his mother before bailiffs took him away to serve his sentence. - (Black-on-white) |
