First pictures of transsexual wife murdered and cooked by her chef husband who then slashed his throat as police arrived A transgender woman murdered and cooked by her husband in their swank Australian apartment was a “high-class” prostitute using profits from sex work to support her family in Indonesia. Mayang Prasetyo was charging up to $435 an hour for her services, marketing herself online as a “top high-class Asian shemale.’’ The married couple at the center of the weekend’s grim murder-suicide in Brisbane had both recently spoken to family and given them no indication of problems in their relationship. Yet friends of Prasetyo said yesterday they had held concerns about her husband, Marcus Peter Volke, 28, saying he was quiet, difficult to get to know and “extremely cold.” Parts of the 27-year-old's body were found strewn across a Teneriffe apartment - in the Queensland capital's inner-city - and some had been cooked up by her chef husband, Marcus Peter Volke, on a stove. Volke, 28, slit his own throat soon after fleeing police when they knocked on the door of the couple's home after receiving complaints of a bad smell on Saturday night. |
Jury: (Black) Colorado Springs teen guilty in killing of (White) Fort Carson soldier, wife A reluctant witness claiming to forget a murder confession left Maryln Dunlap weeping and in tears last week, scared that her son's alleged killer would walk free. Her eyes grew moist once more Tuesday as she texted her younger son the verdict: He's guilty. After deliberating only 31/2 hours, a jury found that Macyo Joelle January murdered Staff Sgt. David Dunlap and his pregnant wife, Whitney Butler, as the newlyweds checked on their home burglary alarm in early 2013. January - charged as an adult despite being 17 at the time of the killings - showed no emotion after the 12 jurors replied "yes" in affirming their decision to 4th Judicial District Court Judge Deborah Grohs and a packed courtroom. But there was no murder charge for the 13-week-old fetus Butler carried the day she died - a result of state statutes that kept prosecutors from pressing charges for that death, prosecutor Reggy Short said. - (Black-on-white) |

Plea deal could free (black) man who homosexually assaulted Rochelle Park boy in less than a year A New York man who sexually assaulted a Rochelle Park couple’s teenage son after they gave him a home tearfully asked forgiveness today before a judge in Hackensack gave him a plea-bargained sentence that could free him in less than a year. Aldred Redick, 40, has 457 days of jail credit that will be applied to his eight-year sentence. He’ll be eligible for parole sometime next summer. That didn’t please Presiding Superior Court Judge Liliana DeAvila-Silebi. “What bothers me is that he threatened and demeaned the child after the assault to keep him from reporting the crime,” she said. An indictment returned by a grand jury in Hackensack said Redick told the boy: “Don’t cross me. [T]his is between you and me.” “I will honor the plea agreement,” the judge said today. “It was arrived at so the child wouldn’t have to testify.” The boy’s father, a pastor, brought him to tears again. |

Black African immigrant sentenced to more than 10 years for fondling girl A Sedgwick County judge on Thursday imposed a sentence of more than 10 years on a Wichita man convicted of fondling a 7-year-old girl during a party in 2013. Raymond Buberwa, 28, had been eligible to receive life imprisonment under Kansas’ version of Jessica’s Law, but District Judge Gregory Waller granted a defense motion to issue lesser sentences on the two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Buberwa, who was convicted of the crimes at trial, will serve two 61-month prison sentences consecutively, said Dan Dillon, spokesman for the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office. He stood accused of sexually touching the girl at a friend’s house on Oct. 12, 2013. In the motion for sentencing departure, Buberwa’s attorney asked for a lesser prison term on the grounds that Buberwa had little criminal history prior to the offenses, was working toward gaining American citizenship and that the degree of harm done to the 7-year-old was “significantly less than typical for a rape case.” - (Invasion!) |

White Islip man who traveled around the world killed by black strangers in North Carolina An Islip man who had traveled the globe for the past decade and was planning a cross-country bicycle ride was shot to death by robbers after he missed a bus connection in Fayetteville, North Carolina, last week, police and his family said. Mark Boyd II, 32, was shot late Thursday, and was pronounced dead early Friday, after a man he met in the Fayetteville bus depot offered him a place to sleep, they said. Instead, the man and an accomplice drove him to a secluded area, shot him and stole his crated bicycle and camping gear, they said. "Everywhere he went he met kind people, and he was a kind and good person. Then he came back to America and this happens," his stepmother, Susanne Boyd of Islip, said in an interview Monday. Her son went with the man "because Mark is so trusting. . . . They took this innocent kid. . . He is so kind. He wouldn't kill a bug," she said. "They hit him, they hurt him and they shot him." Fayetteville police said they arrested two local men there and charged both with first-degree murder in Boyd's death. Police identified them as Carlos Jacob Engle, 32, who was arrested Sunday and had previously served jail terms for armed robbery, assaulting a police officer and other crimes; and Deshavonte Kemp, 19, who also is charged with first-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Bail is not being made available to either man, police said. - (Black-on-white) |
