Officer Arrested on Drug Charges A Jackson police officer finds himself on the wrong side of the law. U.S. Marshals arrested Officer Lavartes Burch at his home on drug charges. Marshals were actually trying to serve a warrant on Officer Burch's cousin. A U.S. Marshal says Burch, who has been with JPD for a year-and-a-half, displayed his badge and was uncooperative. Burch allegedly told officers his cousin, Shirley Davis, was at work and then warned her by cellular phone that she was about to be arrested. She was picked up and charged with possession of cocaine. School Custodian Charged With Having Sex With Student Adam Eugene Smith of Hillsborough is charged with 11 counts of felony sex offense. Investigators believe he had sex with a student at Cedar Ridge High School. Smith was arrested Tuesday and was released after promising to appear in court April 22. Smith started with Orange County schools as a bus driver in August 2001 and became a school custodian in March 2003. The first black district attorney in New Orleans discriminated against dozens of his white employees by firing them on the basis of race, a federal jury decided Wednesday. Eddie Jordan violated federal anti-discrimination laws when he Band teacher Laura Lynn Findlay appears in court for allegedly having sex and performing sex acts with five 14 year olds  Prosecutors say a Buena Vista teacher abused her authority to convince some students to have sex with her. The Ricker Middle School band instructor was formally charged Tuesday afternoon with 20 criminal counts. Laura Lynn Findlay, 30, appeared in court to face the charges. Her attorney stood moot; the charges against Findlay were not read. Migrant Mississippi Professor from Africa charged with felonly child abuse  Affidavits filed in Hinds County Circuit Court detail what Professor Festus Oguhebe is charged with doing to his six children. The professor, who is from Nigeria, is accused of tying up one of his children, placing him in a bathtub, covering him with ants, putting pepper in his eyes and leaving him there overnight.

Hampton Police Arrest Dirty Old Man for fonding an 8-year-old girl  Hampton police have charged a 52-year old man they say fondled an 8-year old girl in early March. Raymond Hedgepath of Witness Lane was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated sexual battery. Authorities say Hedgepath fondled the daughter of an acquaintance while at their residence on March 4th. Police were called to the residence on March 5th after the victim told her mother about the alleged incident. Hedgepath is currently being held in the Hampton City Jail. - (Tyrone N. Butts) |
Portsmouth Man Charged With Having Sex With 13-year-old girl Newport News police have charged a 42-year old Portsmouth man with having sex with a 13-year old girl. Kenneth Albert Harris of Cherokee Road was arrested in the Denbigh section of Newport News around 6:30am Thursday. Authorities say that in November of 2003 the Newport News victim met the suspect at a local retail store. According to police, they two began "dating." During that relationship, officials contend the two had sexual contact on several occasions in several different locations. Police Identify Suspect in Deadly Shooting Outside Newport News Nightclubb as Samuel Isaiah Manning  Newport News police are searching for a suspect they say walked up to an SUV early Saturday morning and sprayed it with bullets. One man was killed and another was hospitalized with gunshot wounds. The shooting happened around 2:00am at the entrance of the Majic City Nightclub parking lot. Wednesday, police obtained warrants for Samuel Isaiah Manning, 21, of Tall Pines Drive in Hampton. Manning is 5'10" tall and weighs 150 pounds. Alleged Lesbian Teacher Arrested on Felony Charges A Durham high school teacher is accused of making inappropriate advances toward a 16-year-old female student. Kara Hill, 30, surrendered to police yesterday, posted bond, and left the Durham County Courthouse in a hurry Tuesday morning. Hill is charged with two felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a student. Grand jury indicts African migrant - former Lymo CEO A grand jury indicted Benedict Shogaolu, the former chief executive officer of the Waccamaw Regional Transportation Authority, on four felony counts of public corruption related to his conduct while heading the mass-transit agency known as Lymo. Hillsborough deputy job applicant arrested A Tampa man seeking a detention department job with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office ended up behind bars. After an investigator learned that sexual battery suspect James Manning was applying to be a deputy, he was asked to bring paperwork to the sheriff's operation center in Ybor City. Man Pleads Guilty in Sexual Assault in Virginia Beach  A Virginia Beach man pleaded guilty Wednesday to several sexual assault charges. The Attorney says Kory Johnson admitted to abduction with intent to defile and rape, two counts of object sexual penetration and three counts of forcible sodomy, robbery, and malicious wounding. Police say the 21-year old victim was riding a bike on Virginia Beach Boulevard near Birdneck Road last February when she was attacked.Officials allege Johnson hit her on the head with a metal stick, raped her, and stole her purse and engagement ring.Johnson is facing four other trials for rape. - (Tyrone N. A Mobile man once in charge of supervising teens in trouble with the law now finds himself on the other side of the justice system, accused of sodomizing one of his charges. Adric Bush, who was once responsible for working with teens in Mobile's juvenile justice is now a defendant in Mobile circuit court. “He's being charged with sodomy, enticing a minor and providing a minor with alcohol,” said the Mobile County assistant district attorney. -Doctor charged with money laundering A Clarksville doctor charged with scheming to defraud several health insurance plans faces an additional federal charge of money laundering. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Nashville announced the new charge against Dr. Samson Orusa in a press release Friday. A new 17-count indictment was issued Thursday by a federal grand jury in Nashville. Former Pastor Will Appeal His Own Plea On Sex Charges JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A former pastor Friday pleaded no contest to having sex with a teenage girl and was sentenced to six months in jail, three years of probation and must register as a sex offender. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent David Wilhelm murdered by Brian Nichols   David Wilhelm, an experienced home remodeler and builder on the side, reportedly was laying tile in a bathroom when Brian Nichols shot him, took his pistol, money and badge and drove off in Wilhelm's blue pickup. A construction worker found Wilhelm's body Saturday morning hours before Nichols was arrested about 15 miles away. The pickup also was located but not near the place where Nichols' arrest occurred. | Gardner and some other men made a New Year's resolution to rape and kill a white woman "as retribution for 400 years of oppression of black people. Authorities say Joseph Gardner was the trigger man. He was convicted and sentenced to death in 1995 for killing of Melissa "Missi" McLauchlin. McLauchlin was raped, tortured, shot five times in the face and left to die by the side of a road in Summerville in 1992. The court today set Gardner's execution for April Eighth. - (Tyrone N. Former Miss Savannah Nikki Redmond Takes the Stand in murder trial  Former beauty queen Sharron Nicole Redmond had plead innocent to charges she shot and killed her boyfriend Kevin Shorter. She said she and Kevin Shorter got engaged in September 2003. Redmond said she had never fired a gun before, but Shorter showed her how. "The only thing I was told about the gun by the person who told me how to shoot the gun, which was Kevin, was put the clip in it, take the safety off, pull the trigger," she said. The suspect, Jason Taylor, 24, has been held in jail on unrelated trespass and marijuana possession charges. Taylor has been charged with three counts of armed robbery with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and armed burglary at the church's morning Mass last Nov. 22 . The American people aren't as dumb as they look; we can only take so much celebrating the inventions of the biscuit cutter, the door knob, the curtain rod, the door stop and the super soaker water gun. Many of these claims are seen for what they are and other negro claims of invention have been definitively debunked. It became buffoonish after a while and I believe that the newsmedia recognized that. As negroes grasp at straws to find any boost for their fragile self esteem, we simply look to modern Africa or our local newspapers to see the negro in it's natural state: murderous, self absorbed, vicious, incompetent, and always whining that white people don't like them.
