Antonio Goldman was captured by Madison County Deputies Wednesday night
driving a white Cadillac, just like the one described by eyewitnesses.
The victim says the rape occurred while she was jogging along a walking trail,
where she was attacked by a man armed with a knife. Police say Goldman has served

N.C. -- A man with a violent past is back in custody after escaping from Oxford
police on Sunday. Police say Jerome Gregory was found under a couch in
an apartment in Oxford Monday night. His bond is set at $505,000. Gregory kidnapped
and raped a woman living in the Hillside neighborhood on Thursday. "He hit
her in the back, forced her into the truck and drove her to a secluded place where

Mentally
retarded career criminal spared death sentence for rape and murder A
mentally retarded career criminal was convicted Friday of second-degree murder
of a Jacksonville woman three years ago. Ernest Lee Glover, 32, faces life
in prison in the death of Martha Renee Jackson
in 2001. Glover, who agreed to walk her home, instead took her to a known crack
house where he often slept. There, he had sex with her, then beat her and slit
her throat. Her body was found posed. Glover then changed shoes and returned

Alleged serial killer of White women set for first trial   The
existence of the serial killer was first confirmed in July 2002, after DNA linked
the death of three women in Baton Rouge. Derrick Todd Lee, 35, was arrested
10 months later in a manhunt that ended in Atlanta. He was a truck driver who
had a history of stalking and peeping tom convictions.So far, he has been charged
in the deaths of seven women. He
faces a second-degree murder charge for allegedly killing 21-year-old LSU graduate

Beach: Black Man accused of serial rape held without bond The Prosecutor called the defendant, Kory Devon Johnson, 23, a “serial rapist” and “the most dangerous man” during a bond hearing. Johnson also confessed to a 2003 rape that police were able to tie him to through another DNA match. That rape involved a 73-year-old woman. Johnson was out on bond when a 21-year-old Russian woman was beaten and sexually assaulted near the Oceanfront. He then threw the woman to the ground and punched her in the face numerous times before sexually assaulting her. Police described the suspect as a black man in his early 20s. Doctor Ndolo, originally from Africa, indicted on statutory rape charges
Indicted and arrested: a Fairhope doctor faces second-degree rape charges. His
alleged victim: a fourteen-year-old girl.
Dr. Joseph Ndolo
is not speaking on the second-degree statutory rape charge he faces. The 14-year-old
alleged victim told child protective service officers in Texas that
the doctor had raped her during a visit to Fairhope last summer. Investigators
traveled to Texas to interview the teen-aged girl and gather physical evidence.

Death
Penalty Sought in Fatal Home Invasion  A
man accused of fatally shooting a 17-year-old girl during a home invasion robbery
at a Newnan apartment complex could face the death penalty if convicted. Prosecutors
announced that they would seek the death penalty against Roderick Calvin Thomas,
25, in the slaying of Heather Rhodes. Thomas
and two other men each have been charged with two counts of murder, nine counts
of aggravated assault as well as various robbery, kidnapping and weapons charges.
Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty against the other co-defendants,
28-year-old Marquis Damon Cannon and 22-year-old Anricus Rayshawn Holston.

First Black female sheriff suspended as Feds probe Georgia jail  Georgia's
governor suspended the sheriff of the state's largest county. Gov. Sonny Perdue
acted Friday on the recommendation of a panel he appointed to investigate allegations
of mismanagement by Fulton County Sheriff Jackie Barrett, who announced
last week she would take vacation and other accrued time off beginning Aug. 1

Beach Police investigate violent sexual assault on Russian woman by black Officials say a 21-year old woman from Russia - currently living in Virginia Beach - was assaulted around 12:35am when the unidentified man grabbed her from behind while she was walking in the area. The suspect placed victim in a choke hold and dragged her into an area of thick foliage. The suspect threw the victim to the ground and punched her in the face numerous times. Charged With Killing Dad Caught In Central Florida   Fla.
-- A 14-year-old girl on the run after being charged with murdering her father
has been arrested in Florida, authorities said. Kayla Marie LaSala had
been under house arrest at an uncle's house and fled on July 3 after removing
an electronic monitoring device from her ankle and gluing it to a cat. A tip came
in to detectives on Tuesday that she was in an Orlando, Fla., suburb with a 25-year-old
man. Kayla LaSala apparently met Troy Gilmore in a chatroom on the
Internet three months ago. She's been staying with him since July 6. Gilmore is
charged with abduction and sexual battery. He told police he had sex with LaSala,

Orleans police are asking for the public's help in locating and identifying a
man wanted in connection with the aggravated rape of a 38-year-old New Orleans

tall with a slim build and a dark complexion. His hair was in twists and he had
a tattoo on his left forearm of a cross with the words "Live 2 Die."

Milwaukee mob members charged in beating of 14-year-old into coma with two-by-four |
Three
Milwaukee men were charged with beating a 14-year-old boy into a coma at a playground
last week while more than a dozen people looked on. Timothy Owens, 31,
faces one count of first-degree reckless injury. According to a criminal complaint,
Owens struck the victim, Tyrin Douglas,
in the head with a two-by-four as the boy was on his back trying to shield himself
from kicks and punches. The other two men, Mario Brown, 21, and Davell
Going, 22, were charged with physical abuse of a child. - (Three

Whitehead, 20, is one of the men arrested Friday in a string of random shootings
this week in New Haven, Connecuticut that wounded five people. Three of the victims

Colon, was shot as he waited for a bus. He saw a car drive by and then
turn around. Someone in the car rolled down the window and shot him nine times.

Police Chief Clarence Skipper was indicted on charges of public bribery and malfeasance in office. He was arrested in March following an undercover State Police investigation. Skipper accepted cash in exchange for not writing traffic tickets and for not finishing accident reports, investigators said. a 15-year-old suspect accused of shooting a man during a robbery after the victim
stopped to ask directions appeared in court. Police arrested Twain Demario
Vaughn, 15, on Friday. He was accused of murdering Kristopher
Carlyle after Carlyle and his family got lost while driving around
south Nashville Wednesday night. When the family stopped to ask for directions
they were robbed by four males.Aspiring country musician shot, killed after car makes wrong turn A North Carolina man who moved to Nashville to follow his dreams in country music was shot dead in front of his family over $10. All of a sudden a group of young teens approached their car and Kristopher asked them for directions. “I asked them again how to get on the right road back into town. A fourth boy came up, and I saw a gun and he held it to my son's throat,” said Smith. She says all they had was a $10 on them and gave it to the gunman, but it wasn't enough. “He shot my son right here over ten dollars. were seeking a young black man in the rape of an 80-year-old woman Kacy Cannon, 30, is charged with aggravated rape in the trial. Cannon's DNA was entered into a computer pool after he was convicted of another crime. The DNA from the semen on the pantyhose matched Cannon's, and he was then arrested and charged. Authorities said a man asked the elderly woman for a drink of water, then he pushed her inside and raped her on a couch. Warren faces two counts of murder and child cruelty for allowing the deaths
of her daughters, named Angel and Angelette

The judge released the Taylors on $100,000 bail each. Smith was freed on $75,000 bail. When schools were desegregated, whites fled, and in the 1970s, the city's economy began to collapse. FL -- Charges have been filed against a former detective with the Jacksonville
Sheriff's Office. Authorities escorted Shawn Pringle out of JSO headquarters
