NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. - A 16-year-old boy accused of throwing a 68-year-old woman into a swimming pool during a party appeared before a judge Tuesday morning. Judge Carlos Rebollo ordered Leon Balfour to home detention until his next court appearance. Balfour must stay at home unless going to school, church or basketball practice. Balfour can be seen on video lifting Nancy James and falling to the ground after he slips on the wet surface. The teen then lifts James once again and throws her into the pool. James can be seen asking partygoers to lower the level of noise at the party. An estimated 200 people were attending the party, most of them kids. James said she is on the association board of the complex and that she'd received several complaints about the noise level. White man victim of mass black youth beating/robbery on San Francisco Area train sues qBART Man hurt in group takeover robbery sues (Bay Area Rapid Transit) BART for gross negligence. Rusty Stapp says 2 to 3 people were beating him, even kicking him, at one point and that his wife fell on top of his daughter to cover her up and protect her. -- One of the victims from the flash mob BART takeover is suing BART for gross negligence. It was in April that dozens of teens jumped the turn styles at the (90% black) Coliseum BART station, boarded a train and began robbing people of cellphones, purses and wallets, in some cases beating some victims into submission. Dublin resident Rusty Stapp says he was one of them. He says two to three people were beating him, even kicking him at one point, and that his wife fell on top of his daughter to cover her up and protect her. "If they can't protect the basic passenger from assault and robberies, how are they protecting us from terrorism right now? This was such an easy crime for these individuals to commit that I want to shine a spotlight on this," said Stapp. Stapp said he and his family suffered physical and emotional injuries. "The BART personnel showed a conscious disregard for the safety of the BART passengers by failing to take any measures to prevent this attack from happening, starting with the two police officers that were in the parking lot through which these individuals passed," attorney Paul Justi said. BART has previously said that it made two arrests in the incident, also that several suspects were identified. - (Black-on-white) |

Hispanic Man guilty of killing missing Northern California girl A jury has found a man guilty of killing a 15-year-old Northern California girl whose body has not been discovered. Following the verdict Tuesday, the jury in San Jose will now consider whether to recommend the death penalty for Antolin Garcia-Torres for killing and kidnapping of Sierra LaMar. Sierra disappeared March 16, 2012, on her way to a school bus stop near her home in Morgan Hill, which is about 25 miles (40 kilometers) south of San Jose. Her school books, purse and clothing were found near a shed in a field about 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) from her home two days later. Police arrested Garcia-Torres, 26, two months later after investigators found his DNA — taken during a previous assault arrest — in her handbag. They also found Sierra's DNA in his red Volkswagen Jetta and one of her hairs on a rope found in the trunk of his car. Prosecutors said they believe Garcia-Torres is a predator and that his kidnapping attempts of other women helped him prepare for Sierra's abduction and murder. Garcia-Torres pleaded not guilty to charges of trying to kidnap and carjack three women in 2009 as they returned to their cars late at night in Morgan Hill parking lots. |

Sexual Abuse Lawsuit Filed In Canada Against Archdiocese Of Philadelphia PHILADELPHIA — The scene of the crime, they say, was Ontario, Canada. It was 1968. A Philadelphia area teen and his parish priest had taken a camping trip. It’s claimed it was anything but innocent. And 49 years later, Paul Eberz, of Freehold, New Jersey, has come out from the shadows to talk about the sexual abuse he says he endured in Canada. “The priest, he’s a bad guy,” Eberz said. The priest he’s referring to is Father John Mulholland. Eberz, at 18, says Mulholland sexually abused him on that trip north across the border. Paul knew “Father John” from his parish, St. Joseph Church in Warrington. Eberz, at 18, says Mulholland sexually abused him on that trip north across the border. Paul knew “Father John” from his parish, St. Joseph Church in Warrington. A 2016 lawsuit had been filed against the Philadelphia Roman Catholic Church in a Canadian court. “In Canada, there’s no statute of limitations,” Attorney Marci Hamilton said. “And so the abuse occurred in Ontario, and that made it possible to file a suit up there with no time limit whatsoever.” John Mulholland was a prominent name. Among other numbing details, he was known for so-called “two-week-long torture treatments of young boys.” “Fr. Mulholland has a reputation as being into sadistic abuse of boys,” Barbara Dorris, of SNAP, said. Five years ago, he says his brother came forward, also making a report against Mulholland. The difference, time ran out on his brother’s case. Mulholland was booted from the priesthood in 2008, and maintains a private residence in the Trevose area, according to sources. |

Black demon who raped German Tourist in Harlem, NYC - ID'd by DNA from blood trail The man wanted for sexually assaulting and robbing a female German tourist in Harlem last week is a level-three sex offender who was ID’d thanks to the trail of blood he left behind, cops said Monday. Robinson is now being eyed in at least two other recent attacks, cops added. Robinson did seven years in prison for robbing and trying to rape a woman along with his buddy in Brooklyn in 2006. He was released in 2014, then sent back to jail this past September for failing to register with the sex-offender registry — but got out again in January. (White) Longtime high school coach Ken Whitley says (black) student and (black) mother assaulted him Longtime high school coach Ken Whitley was injured and briefly hospitalized Monday night after a run-in with a high school basketball player and his mother at Green Run High. The participants widely disagree on what happened. Whitley was a state champion wrestler and football All-American at Norview High School, where he helped guide the Pilots to the 1959 state football championship. Whitley has been coaching in Norfolk and Virginia Beach since 1968. A member of several hall of fames, the 73-year-old is believed to be the region’s longest-tenured coach. Whitley was taken by ambulance to Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital with a possible concussion, neck strain, abrasions on his face and head, a swollen ear and a broken nose. He said he was suffering from dizziness Wednesday afternoon. He briefly lost consciousness, according to his wife, Karen Whitley, who released photos of her husband’s injuries. Whitley swore out an arrest warrant Tuesday against Christy Kieschnick, 42, of Virginia Beach who says she is a senior chief in the Navy Reserve. She was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery. Her son, a juvenile who attends Kempsville High School, faces the same charges, filed by the Virginia Beach Police. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Man dropped pants to ankles, fondled himself in front of (White) young girls on street INDIANAPOLIS — A man with past convictions for public indecency has been charged for allegedly pulling down his pants and masturbating in front of two juvenile girls. Jasper Williams, Jr., 41, faces two felony and two misdemeanor charges in the case. According to court documents, a mother flagged down an officer in the 600 block of North Jefferson Avenue just before 2 p.m. on April 2. The mother told an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer Williams had masturbated in front a 12-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl, one of them her daughter. “They come running in and told me that there was a man who had been looking at them from across the street and was like shirt up, pants down,” said Amanda Wilkerson. Wilkerson’s daughter and a friend were playing on the front porch when the incident happened. She pointed the officer at the man, who could be seen walking down an alley toward Washington Street. Another woman that lives on the street came out and told an officer that she was outside smoking when she also saw the act. - (Black-on-white) |
