Jesus Francisco Alvarez arrested - found driving minivan of murdered nurse Debra Slough  Police in Eagle Pass, Texas arrest a man they said was driving the van of murdered Corpus Christi nurse Debra Slough. She died from a gunshot wound to the head. The driver of her van was taken into custody. Eagle Pass police have identified the suspect as 29-year-old Jesus Francisco Alvarez. He's being held on numerous charges including evading arrest and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, failure to stop and render aid along with resisting arrest. Negro Denies Role In Rape Of Missing 5-year-old Girl * Inmates: 'Bruce Killed Emily Rimel'  Ohio --Rimel's body has not been found and Bruce was not charged with murder. But, he was accused of the rape after her DNA was found on his genitalia. Emily Rimel disappeared from her bed in December. Nine months later here is still no sign of the girl. Lindsay Bruce is on trial on charges of kidnapping and rape. Bruce, a Rimel family friend, was arrested. Police said DNA linked him to the 5-year-old girl. Live-in boyfriend Colbert sentenced for killing young white mother of his spawn - Convicted killer only gets 5 to 15 years   Cassandra Kindlon's family says her killer has gotten away with murder. Although Paul Colbert was convicted of manslaughter, the victim's family says it is not enough.Over the objection of the defense, six surviving relatives of 19-year-old Kindlon tearfully confronted Colbert over the killing. Five months after she disappeared, Kindlon's skeletal remains were found along the Normans Kill in Albany last year. Jose Charged with Rape of his daughter in case of mumified babies found in airshaft Police have arrested the father of the 18-year-old accused of throwing her two newborns down an airshaft and charged him with aggravated rape. Prosecutors say Lucila Ventura is a victim as well. Ventura was arrested after police say she threw her newborn son down an airshaft. It was then investigators found the mummified remains of a girl the 18-year-old had delivered a year-and-a-half ago. Today prosecutors charged her father - Jose Ventura - with aggravated sexual assault against his daughter, and say he is the father of the two babies. Police Seek Help In Finding Black Rape Suspect COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police said Friday that they are seeking the public's help in locating a man wanted on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman in her south Columbus home. A warrant was filed for the arrest of Cornell Sean Kelly. He raped a woman on Sept. 3. Police said he injured the victim during the assault. Police said Kelly had been released from prison in 2003 and was out on parole for robbery and is connected to another sexual assault from August. "Both victims said they were not able to forecast that he would revert to such violent behavior." - (Gman) |
"Renegade cop" Reginald A. Williams gets six and a half years for false arrests and stealing from arrestees  A jury convicted Williams in April on three counts of obstruction of justice and one of making a false statement to a federal prosecutor. He was acquitted of two counts of violation of civil rights and one count of possessing crack with intent to distribute it. Dianna Williams, the defendant's wife, said her husband was prosecuted because he had complained that the Police Department's process for selecting sergeants is biased against African-Americans. Low-down pedophile accused of signing 10-year-old boy out of school for homo sex Bossier Parish's schools superintendent said today he will not discipline school employees who allowed an 18-year-old "friend of the family" to check a 10-year-old student out of Benton Middle School. That man is accused of having sex with the boy. Karl Gilliard is jailed on one count of aggravated rape and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Sheriff's investigators said that on at least three different occasions, the 10-year-old boy was checked out of school by Gilliard -- who was not on the child's checkout list -- and taken shopping and to the movies. Fairfax Police Search For Rape Suspect FAIRFAX, Va. -- Police in Fairfax County are looking for a man suspected of breaking into a home in Springfield, Va., in 1981 and raping a woman. Investigators said a 21-year-old woman was awakened by a man who had broken into her home. Police said the man forcibly raped and sodomized the victim and then stole numerous items from the home. Evidence collected in the 1981 case was re-submitted and a match was made in the Virginia DNA Databank. Police said 57-year-old Glenn A. Mitchell was indicted by a grand jury on charges of rape, forcible sodomy, robbery and burglary. - (-88-) |

Prison Guard "Willie" Jones Charged with Having Sex with Inmate A Corrections Department guard has been charged with having sex with an inmate. The State Law Enforcement Division says 43-year-old Willie Jones is charged with second-degree sexual misconduct with an inmate. The arrest warrant states the incident occurred at the Camille Griffin Graham Correctional Institution in Richland County on August 13th. Suspect In Police Officer Shooting Captured ROSE HILL, N.C. -- A man suspected of shooting a police officer has been caught, authorities said. Tyrone David Williams is in custody, Rose Hill police said. Police said they were not sure when or where he was apprehended, but said he was in custody Authorities started a manhunt for Williams, who they described as armed and dangerous, after Rose Hill Police officer Mitchell Anderson was shot and wounded when responding to a domestic dispute Saturday night. - (Aryan Barbarian, Tyrone N. Mom, suspect killed in carjacking, shooting * Police ID Deadly Cobb Carjacker   Kimberly D. Boyd took her son to preschool Monday morning, then dropped by a bank before heading to her office in north Cobb County. Minutes later, her routine was shattered, and sometime before 9:30 a.m. she was struggling for her life with carjacker Brian O'Neil Clark as her Toyota Sequoia raced south. The kidnapping ended with the Acworth woman dead and the carjacker fatally shot by a passer-by. Boyd died instantly when her SUV was broadsided by a cement truck. Within seconds, the man driving Boyd's car was also dead — shot by Shawn Roberts, 31, who had seen Boyd fighting the man and followed the car. "Roberts hollered at [the carjacker], 'Stay where you are. Stay where you are.'" The carjacker ran toward a gas station and Roberts chased him. He told police the man turned a gun toward him, and he had to do something. Police questioned Roberts before releasing him without filing charges. - (NNN forum) - (Black-on-White) |
Sports: High School coach, guard accused of trying to assault Girl in girls' shower  JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A security guard and coach at Ribault High School was arrested and accused of assaulting a student on school grounds. The 14-year-old girl told police she was tricked into entering a shower at the school, where Tracy Wright allegedly demanded that she perform sex acts on him. "Apparently, the suspect was able to take the victim to an area on campus where he felt confident that he would be able to complete the assault." Wright, 34, asked the girl to help him find some other students who were causing trouble in class. The victim said he asked her to look in the girls' shower, then he followed her in and "started kissing her against her will." 2 Men Charged In Local Musician's Slaying * Longtime Musician Shot To Death  INDEPENDENCE, Mo. -- Two men have been charged in the slaying of a longtime member of the local symphony. Michael Jones and Richard Jones were charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Steven Peters at his home. The suspects are not related. Iit appears the men were allegedly trying to rob the home, but Peters fought back. "While they are kicking in the back door, the victim is lying on the floor. He opens fire -- one of the suspects is hit; as he flees, he says he heard another shot, and the victim is shot and killed." Teen Sentenced For Roles In Road-Rage Stabbing - Teens To Serve only 6 Months  COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Three teenagers who pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter were sentenced Monday. Three juveniles were accused in the fatal stabbing of a Gahanna father about six months ago. Jason Schmalenberger was stabbed with a knife several times near Parsons Avenue and Hamilton Road on April 3. Man Charged With Trying To Rape Manchester Woman A Manchester man was charged with attempted rape, accused of attacking a woman who was walking her dog over the weekend along the Merrimack River. Police said that Andre Felton, 42, has a history of violent sexual behavior and served 13 years in prison in New Jersey for two kidnappings and rapes. They said that this weekend, Felton struck up a conversation with a 20-year-old woman who was walking her dog on Elm Street and stayed with her as she walked toward the Merrimack River. "They then ended up at the building behind 250 Commercial St., where she claims the individual attempted to sexually assault her," Sgt. Lloyd Doughty said. "She was able to fight off that attack. The individual then fled." |
Katrina Evacuee Suspect In Acworth Rape? ACWORTH -- A man who beat and raped an Acworth woman told her he was a Hurricane Katrina evacuee from New Orleans with nothing to lose. Investigators released a sketch of the suspect, who told the woman his family was wiped out in the hurricane. The woman was leaving for work when she encountered a knife-wielding man on her front porch, Acworth Police spokesman Wayne Dennard said. The man beat the woman and raped her, then forced her to drive to an ATM to withdraw money. The woman jumped out of the car and ran into the bank, and the man fled in her car. - (-88-, Tyrone) |
Farmington Police Search for Stabbing Suspect Friday, Farmington police are looking for a person of interest in the murder of an elderly woman. Police have released a photo of the man they want to talk to. Dorothy Smith was stabbed to death in her home Wednesday night. Her husband, Lloyd Smith, was also stabbed several times, but is in stable condition at Botsford Hospital. Police are searching for a man who was recently released from prison on parole. 47-year-old Robert Jackson was convicted of robbing and beating the Smiths in their home 7 years ago. - (White Boy) |
