- Illegal immigrant wanted for raping child arrested in Hyattsville
An El Salvadoran man who was wanted for raping a child in California was arrested on Monday in Hyattsville, authorities said. Santos Javier Guevara-Oliva, 33, was charged earlier this month in Santa Barbara, Calif., with aggravated sexual assault on a child under 14 years of age and forcible rape, according to U.S. Immigration and Custom's Enforcement officials. Officers with ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations determined that Guevara-Oliva had been deported in December 2010 because he had felony convictions. At a later point in time, Guevara-Oliva reentered the United States and took up residence in the Santa Barbara area. Guevara-Oliva then fled to Maryland, and he was arrested at his home in Hyattsville. - (Invasion!)
