Russia’s upper house of parliament passes tougher ban on ‘LGBT propaganda’ Russia’s upper house of parliament unanimously voted on Wednesday to toughen a controversial law banning what the bill describes as “LGBT propaganda,” making it apply to Russians of all ages. The bill has to be signed into law by Russian President Vladimir Putin after being passed by the Federation Council. It passed the lower house of parliament, the State Duma, on November 24. The law proposes to ban all Russians from promoting or “praising” homosexual relationships or publicly suggesting that they are “normal.” It also prohibits “propaganda” of pedophilia and gender reassignment in advertising, books, films. The original version of the law adopted in 2013 banned “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations” among minors. Now Russian lawmakers are applying it to adults as well. |

A man who fought with two NYPD officers trying to stop him from blocking traffic at a Brooklyn intersection was arrested Tuesday, police said.
Zayan Shar, 21, was charged with assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct over the caught-on-camera scuffle Friday afternoon at Avenue H and Flatbush Avenue in South Midwood near Brooklyn College, according to the NYPD. Shar ignored the officers’ orders to leave the intersection and started fighting with the pair after they tried to arrest him, cops said. The victim, 41-year-old Leila Al Raheel, was pronounced dead before 1 p.m. Tuesday at a home on the 300 block of Magee Avenue. Later that day, police found Shareef hiding and he was taken into custody. Ahmad Shareef, 34, is charged with murder and other offenses in the incident, police say. A Yonkers man who admitted he pummeled and spit on a 67-year-old woman as he called her an “Asian bitch” was sentenced Tuesday to more than 17 years behind bars.

San Francisco to allow police 'killer robots'
San Francisco's ruling Board of Supervisors has voted to let the city's police use robots that can kill.
The measure permits police to deploy robots equipped with explosives in extreme circumstances.
Dr Catherine Connolly, from the group Stop Killer Robots, said the move was a "slippery slope" that could distance humans from killing. The city's police - the SFPD - told the BBC they do not currently operate any robots equipped with lethal force. They said though that there may be future scenarios in which lethal force could be used by a robot. |

Search for BLACK man wanted in Norristown murder intensifies
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities in Montgomery County are asking for the public's help to find a suspect wanted for gunning down a man along a busy street.
Eugene Ware, 41, is facing first-degree murder charges for a shooting that happened last Monday.
Ware is considered armed and dangerous. A witness says around 10 p.m. on Nov. 21, he and his daughter were driving down the 900 block of Main Street in Norristown minutes after a 35-year-old was shot just feet from a busy SEPTA stop and across from a church. "Me and my family just moved in down the street," the man said. "We just saw all the commotion afterward, all the policemen that were out here." According to a criminal complaint, police say Ware fired at least two shots striking Tyrone Guy in the lower body. |

WILKINSBURG, Pa. (KDKA) — A man is wanted for aggravated murder after a woman reported missing from Cleveland was found shot to death in the backyard of a home in Wilkinsburg.
A flyer from Cuyahoga County Crimestoppers offers $5,000 for information leading to 43-year-old Anthony Kennedy's arrest. Twenty-three-year-old Adrianna Taylor had been living with Kennedy until her death. According to Cleveland police, Taylor was reported missing by her family on Nov. 13. They told police they hadn't heard from her since early October. On Thanksgiving night, her body was discovered buried in the backyard of a home on Hill Avenue in Wilkinsburg. The arrest warrant says Kennedy previously lived in Pennsylvania and currently has relatives living within the state. It also says Kennedy's sister either lived or currently lives in the house that sits on the property where Taylor's body was found. The medical examiner said Taylor died from a gunshot wound to the head and rule her death a homicide. |

An arrest warrant has been issued for an 18-year-old after a shooting at a Walmart in Jackson, Tenn.
The Jackson Police Department (JPD) is actively searching for Alex Bernard Campbell.
Campbell has an active warrant for Attempted First-Degree Murder that was issued out of Jackson City Court on Nov. 28, police said. The shooting happened around 5 p.m. on Nov. 27 at Walmart North in Jackson, located at 2196 Emporium Drive. Two employees were involved in a fight inside a freezer located in an isolated part of the store that was not open to the public. Campbell was identified as one of the employees, police said. After the fight, he allegedly shot the other employee with a pistol then fled the scene. |

HISPANIC Man involved in fatal Port Richmond crash charged
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 19-year-old man has been charged in connection with his involvement in a crash involving a stolen vehicle that left a man in a wheelchair dead and two others injured over the weekend in Port Richmond, the Philadelphia Police Department said Monday. Efrain Rosario was charged with VUFA-no license and VUFA.
Police say it's unclear if Rosario was the driver of the vehicle. The crash happened at Aramingo and Castor Avenues after police were chasing the suspects in an alleged stolen Cadillac. It left 38-year-old Bill Repka, the man in a wheelchair, dead. A 27-year-old woman and an 11-year-old girl were also injured after the stolen vehicle crashed into another car. Rosario was one of four suspects inside the vehicle that took off after the crash, according to police. Three suspects are still on the run. On Sunday, friends set up a memorial for Repka where the crash happened. "They should pay for what they've done," a friend of Repka told CBS Philadelphia. Friends seek justice for man killed in Port Richmond crash Friends are making an urgent plea for justice as a memorial now sits at Castor and Aramingo Avenues in honor of Repka, who police say was killed while he was in a wheelchair panhandling Saturday night. Texas agents uncover 50 illegal immigrants hidden in junkyard big rig, 5 accused human smugglers arrested
Texas special agents discovered about 50 illegal immigrants hidden in a junkyard conex container and apprehended five suspected human smugglers accused of orchestrating the tractor trailer operation.
At approximately 8:00 p.m. Monday, special agents from the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division (CID) located a truck tractor semi-trailer suspected of concealing several illegal immigrants at a junkyard on State Highway 359 in Webb County. As CID special agents approached the trailer, several illegal immigrants absconded, and five adult males were apprehended, according to spokesman Christopher Olivarez. A search of the property resulted in the discovery of approximately 50 additional illegal immigrants hidden inside a conex container. Upon further investigation, the semi-trailer was reported stolen out of the Laredo Police Department. CID special agents are further investigating this case. The illegal immigrants, 35 males, 10 females, and eight juveniles from Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador were referred to the U.S. Border Patrol. |
Kay County Sheriff's Office arrest VIETNAMESE man wanted in relation to murder case in Minnesota
KAY COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — A man from Minnesota that was wanted for an alleged homicide was apprehended by the Kay County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) on Thursday.
On Nov. 24, OHP asked KCSO for their assistance in locating and arresting Aaron Le, a man from Minnesota wanted for questioning in a murder investigation. Troopers and deputies responded to multiple locations along the interstate and helped conduct the traffic stop that ultimately led to the identification and arrest of Le. |

Last week, three people were killed and 11 were injured in a shooting on Philadelphia's popular South Street. This was the "final straw" in their decision to seek impeachment. Many people agree Philly has a crime problem. The group of Republican lawmakers calling for the impeachment of Philly's DA is not from Philadelphia, not even its suburbs, but they insist they know what's right for Philadelphia. "We are here to announce articles of impeachment against Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner," Kail said. Mispronouncing DA Larry Krasner's name and speaking from Harrisburg, a group of lawmakers from Western Pennsylvania announced they are circulating a co-sponsorship memo for supporters of articles of impeachment and believe it will receive bipartisan support. Report: Many female Israeli conscripts suffer sexual abuse JERUSALEM -- Roughly one in four women performing compulsory national service in Israel’s police force and prison service have suffered sexual abuse on the job, according to a report by Israel’s official government watchdog agency. The findings by the State Comptroller indicate that a problem that has long plagued Israel’s security forces appears to be getting worse, despite numerous campaigns over the years to protect female conscripts from male colleagues, commanders and even prisoners. “Our report is ‘Me Too’ to the Israeli prison service and the police," the report said. The investigation was prompted by Israeli media reports last year that found female prison guards were sexually abused by Palestinian security prisoners while their superiors turned a blind eye to the practice in an effort to maintain quiet in the facilities. |

The robberies came after a violent holiday weekend in which dozens of people were shot.
The incidents occurred between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. Monday. The suspects were described as four Black males in their late teens. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations said the homicides of three men and one woman did not "appear to be a random incident".
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the Nov. 20 killings of four people at an Oklahoma marijuana growing facility, according to a statement from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations. Wu Chen, 45, was arrested in Miami Beach, Fla., on November 22, when the car he was driving was flagged by a tag reader and linked to an outstanding Oklahoma arrest warrant, according to the statement. Chen is now awaiting extradition back to Oklahoma. The arrest comes after Kingfisher County deputies found three men and one woman — all Chinese nationals — "executed" at a 10-acre marijuana growing operation in Northwest Oklahoma City, authorities said in a previous statement. Police initially responded to a hostage situation at the facility, but instead found the four victims already deceased and one injured survivor. Chen allegedly entered the building around 5:45 p.m., with a number of employees still on site. He was allegedly inside the facility for a "significant amount of time" before the killings began. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations previously said the homicides did not "appear to be a random incident." "They all know each other. [We] don't know if they're related, don't know if they're coworkers, but certainly these individuals were, we believe, all familiar with each other," OSBI Captain Stan Florence said at a Monday news conference. Because of a language barrier, the four deceased victims' next of kin were still being notified as of November 22 and authorities have not yet released their names. Law enforcement said it recovered a phone he had stolen from the restaurant’s manager and tossed into a subway tunnel, and tracked the assailant via security footage to a nearby bodega where he conducted an electronic transaction an hour before the fatal stick-up. Case Facts: Kirkwood police Sgt. William McEntee was 43, the father of three, and a Kirkwood police officer for nearly 20 years. On the evening of July 5, 2005, McEntee took a call for another officer to the Meacham Park neighborhood over a complaint of fireworks. He was talking to three juveniles when Kevin Johnson walked up to the police car, fired several shots inside it, and then walked away.
Shot in the head and chest, McEntee still managed to get his car in gear and drive it about 200 feet before he crashed into a tree. Thanksgiving day massacre: BLACK Venezuelan Ex-husband goes on shooting rampage in Houston home leaving 2 dead, 2 injured
A shooting at a residential home near Houston Thanksgiving night left two people dead and two others wounded, authorities said. An adult injured in the shooting is in critical condition.
Houston police are continuing to investigate the scene at 1500 block of Baggett Lane, in Spring Branch, where four people, including three adults and one teenager, were shot. The two surviving victims were transported to the hospital, Fox Houston reported. HPD Assistant Chief Patricia Cantu said during a briefing Thursday that the family had just finished eating a Thanksgiving meal together when the ex-husband of the deceased came in through the backdoor and opened fire on the family. "The families were celebrating, they just finished eating. The suspect, who is known to be the ex-husband of the deceased female, came into the back door and just started firing at the people inside the house," Cantu said. "There were four other people inside the house. As soon as they heard the shooting, they ran to the rooms for safety," Cantu said. The suspect unloaded multiple rounds and reloaded the firearm at least once during the rampage, the chief said. The suspect fled the scene. Police received a call of a shooting in progress at 9:18 p.m., and officers arrived at the scene five minutes later to find four people shot in the house. An adult male and an adult female were declared deceased at the scene. A 15-year-old victim is in stable condition, while the surviving adult male is in critical condition. Police said they are not sure of the relationship among the victims at this time as the family invited non-family friends to the gathering. "This is a very sad situation. It's Thanksgiving. People are supposed to celebrate with their families," Cantu said. She added: "We are praying for the families." The shooting was called a "domestic-related incident." A motive for the shooting was not immediately known. The Houston Police later explained that on the following day, November 25, the suspect turned himself in to the San Antonio Police Department. He is identified as Yonetsy Montriel Granado, 38, now charged with 4 felonies. Granado is being held at Bexar County jail. |

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 27-year-old off-duty Buffalo police officer was arraigned on a gun charge Monday morning, according to the Erie County District Attorney.
Dequinn Saunders, of Buffalo, was arraigned on one count of failure to safely store firearms in the first degree.
On Oct. 7, Saunders allegedly left his legally-owned, loaded handgun underneath the front passenger seat of a rental car. Saunders allegedly returned the vehicle to the rental agency, located in the Town of Tonawanda, before retrieving the handgun. Saunders is accused of failing to safely store the firearm by leaving his personal, loaded weapon outside of his immediate person. He is scheduled to return to court at 9 a.m. on Dec. 5 and was released on his own recognizance. |

Teen smugglers lead Texas police on high-speed chase after illegal immigrants bail from vehicle
A pair of teens were arrested and charged with human smuggling after one of the boys led highway troopers on a high-speed vehicle chase in southern Texas, authorities said.

It was unclear when the footage was shot. Chesapeake Police Chief Mark Solesky said the gunman killed six co-workers before killing himself with a handgun. The police department said three individuals, including the shooter, were found deceased in the break room of the store while one dead victim was located toward the front of the store. Police say Nasir Johnson, of Germantown, is connected to two home invasion robberies on Nov. 11 and Nov. 21, as well as a car theft in October.
Johnson was taken into custody Monday after police tracked down a stolen Lexus.
In a statement, Temple thanked officers for investigating the crimes and tracking down leads.

Florida police have arrested a man and charged him with first degree murder after he allegedly beat another man to death with a baseball bat
Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call in Oldsmar, Florida, on Friday afternoon after receiving reports that a man had been beaten with a baseball bat, WTVT-reported. After arriving on the scene, authorities say they found 52-year-old Bryan Merriam lying face down after appearing to have suffered head trauma. Merriam was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities say they have placed 50-year-old Ramon Hernandez under arrest as a result of the incident. An investigation determined that Hernandez arrived at Merriam’s residence with a metal baseball bat believing that his girlfriend was hiding inside Merriam’s home. Hernandez is believed to have approached Merriam and struck him in the head with the bat multiple times before fleeing. |

A man accused of being the "Potomac River Rapist" was found dead inside a Washington, D.C., jail cell on Saturday while awaiting trial in a murder case, police said.
Giles Warrick was discovered hanging from a sheet in the jail cell during a routine check just before 8 a.m. and was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later, FOX5 DC reported, citing officials with D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department. Police did not release any details about the circumstances leading up to Warrick’s death. Warrick was accused of murdering one woman and sexually assaulting eight others in the Washington, D.C., and Montgomery County, Md., areas between 1991 and 1998. Warrick is suspected of killing 29-year-old Christine Mirzayan in the summer of 1998 as she walked home from a cookout in Georgetown, D.C. He was also accused of sexually assaulting eight other women, including an18-year-old babysitter and two women whose children were in the home at the time of the attack. His victims ranged in age from 18 to 58, officials said. Police arrested Warrick in South Carolina in November 2019 after investigators said they linked him to the crimes via forensic evidence and the similar violent methods in each attack. Warrick was scheduled to stand trial in the murder of Mirzayan on Nov. 29. |

After a two-day trial at the 181st District Court, Glaston Lee Mitchell was convicted for assault of a family member with a previous conviction, according to the 47th District Attorney’s Office. Mitchell was sentenced to 25 years of prison in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. |

Two 18-year-olds suspected in several recent shootings in Florida are behind bars.
Damarion "Taz" Mims and Elijah "Lala" Bruten were arrested Friday, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office announced on social media. They are suspected of several shootings in DeLand, including one where a vehicle with a toddler inside was shot at. Released body camera footage shows the arrest of Bruten. The video shows deputy locating a 9mm handgun located under the driver's seat of the car. "There's the old gun right there," the deputy can be heard saying. Bruten is charged with principal to aggravated assault with a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, delinquent in possession of a firearm, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, no valid driver's license, and possession of marijuana. Mims is charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and violation of probation. |
(Black) Buffalo man pleads guilty to attempted murder in 2021 shooting at Deep South Taco
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man pleaded guilty to two charges after firing gunshots outside a restaurant, the Erie County District Attorney’s office announced Wednesday.
David A. Douglas, 23, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree attempted murder and one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At approximately 12:35 a.m. on July 4, 2021, Douglas fired multiple shots from an illegal gun outside of Deep South Taco on Ellicott Street in Buffalo. Three people were injured by the gunfire and were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Buffalo police located Douglas and took him into custody on July 16, 2021. He was found with an illegal, loaded handgun in his possession at the time of the arrest. Douglas is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 20 and faces a maximum of 40 years in prison. |
Ocean City Police arrested (Black) Jaquawn Daney, 19, three other teenagers, and a 12-year-old for an armed carjacking and other crimes that took place on Nov. 18, 2022. 
Ocean City, Maryland, police are investigating an armed carjacking that took place early Friday morning and led to the arrest of four teenagers and a 12-year-old, all from Baltimore.
Police responded to reports of a vehicle being broken into in downtown Ocean City, located at the southern tip of the barrier island. While en route to the break in, police said, officers were dispatched to a report of an armed carjacking involving a handgun. When officers arrived, they located a 73-year-old man from Brandywine, Maryland, who was the victim. The man, police said, was suffering from a head injury and taken to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. The victim told police he was standing near his vehicle when three males approached him. One of the males, police said, pointed a gun at the victim, demanded items from him, and struck him on the back of the head with a handgun before stealing the vehicle and driving off. ................... The driver of the vehicle, Jaquawn Lashawn Daney, 19, took off on foot, police said, until he was ultimately located by the deputies with the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office and handed over to Ocean City Police. Daney, police added, was driving an unreported stolen vehicle out of Ocean City. |

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Cheektowaga man was arraigned Wednesday on multiple robbery and kidnapping charges stemming from two incidents, the Erie County District Attorney’s office announced.
Josue Lubala, 18, was charged with one count each of first-degree robbery, two counts of second-degree kidnapping, one count of second-degree attempted robbery and one count of second-degree attempted kidnapping. It is alleged that on Sept. 13, 2022, police responded to a report from a victim that she and a two-year-old child were forced into her vehicle at knifepoint by Lubala when they were about to leave Cheektowaga Town Park at approximately 10:45 a.m. Lubala then abducted the victim and the child and drove to Wick Street in Buffalo where he allowed them out of the vehicle before fleeing in the victim’s car. The following day on Sept. 14, at around 9:27 a.m., Cheektowaga police responded to another reported carjacking near the Alexander Community Center at Cheektowaga Town Park. Allegedly, a second female victim was sitting in the front passenger seat when Lubala entered the driver-side door and attempted to rob and kidnap the victim by threatening her with a knife. The victim was able to escape and run for help and after a 911 call from a witness, Lubala was arrested after a brief chase with police a short time later on Walden Avenue. Lubala is scheduled to return on Dec. 8 for a pre-trial conference and faces a maximum of 40 years in prison. Florida drug investigation nets 2 BLACKS arrested, 23 guns seized 
Police in Tampa, Florida recovered 23 firearms, including some that were reported stolen, while executing a search warrant for a drug investigation.
Tampa police say the warrant was executed Friday after previously conducting an undercover narcotics investigation at the residence. Authorities say when officers made entry into the home, Zavid Hill, 24, and Roland Fletcher, 21, took off running. Both suspects were quickly located and arrested. MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — On Thursday, police arrested 20-year-old Gilbert resident Joe Jetha Rim for the alleged shooting death of an 18-year-old in Mesa.
Officers responded to a shooting call on Nov. 6 around 5:20 a.m. at an apartment near Southern Avenue and Dobson Road, where they found Stephen Benito Jacobo shot in the neck. Jacobo died at the scene. Court documents say one witness told police she arrived at the apartment around 4 a.m., and around ten people were inside the apartment. During her time there, she said she didn’t hear anyone arguing. Later, a few people left the apartment, which was when she and a friend went into the bathroom. That’s when she heard “a loud pop,” according to court records. A second witness told police she was Jacobo’s friend and was with him during the party. Court documents say Jacobo asked about Rim’s gun, which was when he became upset and accused Jacobo of being in his personal space. Rim pulled out the gun from his waistband, records said, and began waving it around. The witness told police Jacobo said he wanted to see the gun. Rim said, “You want to see what I got?” and fired his gun. Jury finds BLACK New York man guilty in 2020 murder of WHITE Pawtucket woman on New Year's
PROVIDENCE – The visitor from New York plotted a murder with a local woman soon after the couple rang in the New Year together in Rhode Island in 2020.
She would help him find her ex-boyfriend's home in Pawtucket. He would shoot and kill whoever answered the door. These were the allegations presented to the jury that has found 26-year-old Jack Doherty guilty. Tuesday's guilty verdicts in the case followed an eight-day trial before Judge Kristen E. Rodgers in Superior Court, Providence. Doherty was found guilty of murder, discharging a firearm during a violent crime, murder conspiracy and carrying a pistol without a permit, according to a news release from the office of Attorney General Peter Neronha. Doherty's companion in crime, Shaylyn Moran, was sentenced last year to a life prison term plus 20 years for her role in the murder of Cheryl Smith, the mother of Moran's ex-boyfriend. Doherty and Moran had developed a long-distance romantic relationship prior to Doherty's first trip to Rhode Island to visit Moran on Dec. 31, 2019. During this time, in conversations on social media and over the phone, they joined in a conspiracy to target Moran's ex-boyfriend, Leonard Troufield III, with whom she had conducted what the trial judge described as a "toxic relationship." Texas to send military armored personnel carriers to the border to escalate enforcement: Report
Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's border mission will soon include armored personnel carriers as he steps up enforcement, days after invoking an "invasion" clause of both the U.S. Constitution and Texas Constitution to combat ongoing and overwhelming illegal immigration in the state.

Zarbab Ali is a California man arrested after his missing wife, Rachel Castillo, was found dead. Ali posted on Facebook pleading for help in finding the mother of his two children before her body was found. Castillo was reported missing in Simi Valley, California, after she was last seen on November 10. Her body was found in the Antelope Valley on November 13 and her estranged husband was arrested, police said in a press release.
Castillo’s sister, Emily Castillo, said the 25-year-old dropped her two children off with their father, Ali, the morning of Thursday, November 10, in Hawthorne and then went back to the home she and her sister share in Simi Valley, according to KABC. INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man who was carjacked was charged with murdering the thief, according to the Marion County prosecutor.
The last time Anvictor Butler drove his white Chevrolet Malibu was Tuesday morning to a Marathon gas station at Southeastern and South Emerson avenues. According to police, Butler pulled up to the gas pump and went inside the gas station. Seconds later, Dustin Phipps got into Butler’s car and tried to take off. That is when Butler pulled out a Glock .357 and fired two rounds into driver’s side of the car. At least one of those rounds hit Phipps, killing him. Jody Maderia, a professor from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, said, “Someone is justified in using reasonable force to protect themselves or others but only when they reasonably believe unlawful force will be used against them.” With Phipps behind the wheel and mortally wounded, the car went a couple hundred yards on Southeastern Avenue before suddenly crashing through a chain-link fence coming to rest against a tree. Butler chased the car down the street and returned to the gas station when the car crashed. According to police, Butler had driven to the gas station alone, and, had there been a passenger such as a child, Indiana law might have treated him differently when he pulled the trigger. “It is not enough that someone is stealing your car or it is not enough that someone is stealing your television you actually need to believe that this person is going to endanger yourself or another third party,” Maderia said. v Butler left the scene and almost instantly hired a lawyer. He turned himself into police wearing the same clothes he had on earlier in the day when he pulled the trigger. He also surrendered the Glock .357 that still had one round in the chamber. Police immediately arrested him for murder. Butler was expected to make his first court appearance on Friday. |

The "artist", whose real name is Johnathan Porter, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, according to a statement from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The 25-year-old was arrested on “warrants for attempted murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm at/into an occupied structure” related to a shooting on October 8, police said in the statement. A $50,000 bond was set Wednesday during Blueface’s initial court appearance on the charges, according to court documents, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for January. Elijah Darius Scott, 25, of Memphis, Tennessee, landed in the Shelby County Jail on Tuesday after being charged with carjacking and aggravated robbery, as well as employment of a firearm during a dangerous felony, according to local outlet WREG. The alleged victim informed officers that after agreeing to meet a man she knew only as Darius, Scott entered the passenger side of the vehicle, placed a gun next to her and demanded her phone and money while threatening to shoot her. Panicked, the victim fled her 2007 Kia Rondo, at which point Scott drove off, also allegedly taking with him her iPhone, purse and $50 in cash. After reporting the incident to police, the victim said Scott texted her and offered to sell her car back to her for $500. Scott, who remains in jail on $260,000 bond, was also accused in July 2021 of being one of four people who allegedly stole $60,000 worth of items from a woman's home in Memphis. |

ORLANDO, Fla. — Police say they’ve identified two suspects in a murder that happened near downtown Orlando last month. Just before 10 p.m. on October 9, officers responded to the 600 block of Lexington Ave. near Lake Dot for reports of a person lying in the street. Police arrived to find a man dead, but didn’t say at the time how he was killed. The man has been identified by police as Sean Ruben Acosta. Weeks later, police released a photograph of two people they wanted to find for questioning in the homicide. A month after the murder, on November 10, Orlando police arrested 24-year-old Kelonshay Watson in connection to the case. She’s being held in the Orange County Jail on no bond, charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and robbery. On Thursday, police identified 17-year-old Anaitasha Santana as a second suspect in the case. She’s also been charged with first-degree murder. Investigators haven’t released the details of exactly what Watson and Santana are accused of doing to Acosta. They also haven’t said what the motive for the murder may have been or exactly how they developed Watson and Santana as suspects. |

Tiffani Gatson, a 29-year-old officer with the Greece Police Department, shot two women at a Rochester home before turning the gun on herself. The town of Greece is a suburb of Rochester, in western New York on Lake Ontario. Gatson, who had been an officer in Greece since September 2018, was off duty at the time of the shooting, according to the town's police department. Police responded to what they're calling "a domestic related altercation" at around 7:20 p.m., Rochester police said in a statement. Responding officers found all three women outside the home with gunshot wounds, according to the New York State Attorney General’s Office, which is conducting an investigation into the shooting as required by law when a crime is committed by an officer. A man accused of shooting a Henry County detention officer five times and killing another man jumped from motel to motel throughout the state over a nine-day period as he tried to avoid arrest, but his quest ended Sunday afternoon when law enforcement finally caught up with him in Macon.
Brentson Bernard Thomas, 32, allegedly shot the detention officer in the chest, critically injuring him Nov. 4. The officer, whose name was not released, was said to be “progressing very well” by Monday morning, Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett told reporters at a news conference. The man who was killed was not identified. It is still unclear if he was fatally shot before or after the officer was injured, as officials have not released many details about what sparked the shooting. It happened at the Haddon Place apartments off Willow Lane in Henry County. One of three people who are accused of helping Thomas evade arrest remains at large. Dimarie Coulter is being sought on a felony charge of hindering the apprehension of a fugitive. The other two suspects, Lashonda Lay and Joseph Kimber, were arrestedf last week. |

TORONTO -- Canadian police charged a Hydro-Québec employee on Monday with espionage for allegedly sending trade secrets to China.
Yuesheng Wang, 35, will appear in court in Longueuil, Quebec, Tuesday to face charges of obtaining trade secrets, using a computer without authorization, and with fraud and breach of trust by a public officer. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said its national security enforcement team began an investigation in August after receiving a complaint from Hydro-Québec’s corporate security branch. RCMP Inspector David Beaudoin said it is alleged while employed with Hydro-Québec Wang allegedly used his position to conduct research for a Chinese university and other Chinese research centers. A man convicted of a fatal St. Paul shooting earlier this year was sentenced on Thursday to 240 months in prison with credit for 293 days served, according to court documents.
Mark Antonio Bell Jr., 36, was initially charged with two counts of second-degree murder but was sentenced for only one of those counts after pleading guilty to the charge in September. Bell was charged in the death of his long-time girlfriend, Latifa Brown, in January. A 13-year-old Florida boy accidentally shot and killed his 11-year-old brother while handling a gun he found in his parents' bedroom last week.
The victim, Shemarion Burse, died from a gunshot wound to the chest on Thursday, according to Miami-Dade Police. Shemarion was in his family's apartment with his four siblings, ages 9 to 15, when the incident occurred. No adults were home when the boy was shot. The 13-year-old brother had removed a gun from a firearm case in the master bedroom closet, and the gun went off as he was handling it. HARTFORD — The state Supreme Court has upheld the conviction of a Bridgeport man for the very public fatal shooting of his ex-girlfriend’s brother in 2019.
Jayvell Washington’s lawyer had argued that his client was deprived of a fair trial because of the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 12, 2020, among the first days of the pandemic, the 41-year-old Washington, of Bridgeport, was convicted by a jury of first-degree manslaughter with a firearm, criminal possession of a pistol and carrying a pistol without a permit in the Jan. 27, 2019, fatal shooting of 50-year-old Eugene Rogers. Video from a Reservoir Avenue gas station played for the jury during the trial showed Rogers approach Washington’s car. The driver’s side door opened, Rogers pulled out a handgun and then tumbled backward onto the ground. The video shows bullet shells being ejected both from Rogers' gun and from within the open car door. Rogers was shot once in the head, according to the autopsy report. |

Birmingham police on Friday announced the arrest of 19-year-old Lavell Onterria Burton. He is charged with capital murder in the shooting death of Stephen Lawrence Scott Jr., who was also 19. Burton is also charged with attempted murder, first-degree robbery and discharging a gun into an occupied vehicle. Scott was killed Sept. 20 at Adona Apartments on Aspen Run off Green Springs Highway. It was just before 10 p.m. that Tuesday when Birmingham police received numerous 911 calls about the shooting. When they arrived, they found a wrecked vehicle in the entryway parking lot. Inside the vehicle, they found Scott unresponsive. Investigators determined he had been shot. |

(VILLA RICA, Ga. - The search for a man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend has ended with the man's death.
Villa Rica police have been searching for 34-year-old Harold Dakers since Sunday for the murder of 29-year-old Kaleshia Lyons in Douglas County. Officials say on Tuesday, a citizen notified investigators that they saw Dakers entering a wooded area near Villa Trave and North Lassiter Street. When officers entered the woods and approached Dakers, they say he pulled out a handgun and ran. After losing sight of the wanted man, police say they heard a gunshot and found Dakers lying in the creek with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to Douglas County Sheriff Tim Pounds, Draker was accused of killing Lyons Friday morning. Her cause of death was blunt force trauma to her head, Pounds said. At the time of the murder, officials say Draken was out on bond on a previous a charge connected to Lyons. |

William Morris has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and employment of a firearm during the commission of a felony after police say he shot his co-worker in the abdomen following a dispute at a FedEx facility in Memphis, Tennessee, WHBQ-TV reported. Police responded to the southeast Memphis FedEx facility at 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 2, where a man told them he had been shot in the chest by Morris and security personnel confirmed that Morris was an employee at the facility. Morris and the victim reportedly got into an argument after Morris touched the victim on the back, which the victim took issue with. |

Metro Nashville Police report that Kerry Baker, 44, and his 38-year-old girlfriend, had been arguing off and on Monday night inside their apartment in the 2000 block of Ed Temple Boulevard.
Witnesses told police they heard several gunshots around 5:40 a.m. Tuesday. Officers quickly responded to the scene and detained Baker. The victim was shot multiple times in the midsection. Police say she is expected to survive. Baker has also been charged with unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon. Police say that Baker has prior felony cocaine convictions. |

A resource officer at a Tennessee school busted a truck driver who was delivering produce to schools with illegal narcotics and a loaded gun last week, authorities said.
Sewanee Elementary School Resource Officer Josh Alexander was welcoming students into the building Thursday morning when he smelled the odor of marijuana coming from a truck delivering produce to the school as the vehicle drove past him, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said. Alexander spoke to the delivery driver, who confirmed that there were illegal narcotics in the vehicle, according to authorities. Alexander searched the vehicle and recovered 7.6 ounces of suspected fentanyl, 9 ounces of suspected marijuana, a loaded 9mm handgun and $4,463 in cash, the sheriff’s office said The delivery driver, identified as Christopher James Duncan, faces multiple drug charges, including violating a drug-free zone and unlawful possession of a weapon. |

Today November 9, 2022, updated at 10:49 AM EST, CNN reporters Zachary B. Wolf and Curt Merrill remarked that the widely expected red wave did not materialize and then went on to present data that is inconsistent with the closeness of the voting. The reporters compare the exit polls from the 2018 elections with those of the 2022 elections. The comparisons show that the Democrats lost support in Tuesday’s elections among women, moderates, youth, people of color, urban voters, college graduates, and independents. https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2022/politics/exit-polls-2022-midterm-2018-shift/ The Democrats’ support among women declined from 19 points favorable to Democrats to only 8 points. Republican support among men rose from 4 points over Democrats to 14 points. By age, the preference for Democrats over Republicans for 18-29 years of age declined from 35 points to 28 and for 30-44 years of age from 19 points to 4. Republican support over Democrats rose from 1 to 10 points for those 45-64 years of age and from 2 to 12 points for those 65 and older. White men’s preference for Republicans increased from 21 to 28 points. White women moved from a 50-50 split to an 8 point preference for Republicans. Black women’s preference for Democrats declined from 85 points to 78. Black men’s preference for Democrats declined from 76 points to 65. Latina women’s preference for democrats fell from 47 points to 33; and Latino men’s preference for Democrats fell from 29 points to 8. Urban voters preference for Democrats declined from 33 points over Republicans to 17 points. Suburban and Rural voters preferences for Republicans rose by 6 points and 15 points. Democrats also lost support among white and black college graduates. Among white votes without college degrees the preference for Republicans rose by 10 points. Among moderates, the preference for Democrats eroded from 26 points to 15. Among conservatives the Republican advantage rose from 67 points t 83. Among liberals there was essentially no change. The CNN exit polls show substantial erosion of the Democrat voting base since the 2018 election. How can such substantial erosion be consistent with the lack of any significant Republican gain on Tuesday? The outcome of Tuesday’s election is made even more difficult to comprehend by CNN’s reporters when they report: “Back in 2018, 37% of voters said they were Democrats, compared with 33% who said they were Republicans and 30% who said they were independents. In 2022, it was Republicans who have the edge. When they won control of the House in 2018, Democrats had an advantage among independent voters. That is nearly gone in 2022. “Both Democrats and Republicans improved their performance among the party faithful. But Republicans built a lead among voters who don’t have a a favorable view of either party. Democrats lost their edge among voters who have a favorable view of both parties.” There are many other indications that indicate that much is amiss in the vote count. Polls show that Biden suffers an approval rate of only 36% and that a large majority of Americans do not want Biden to run for reelection in two years. How is this preference consistent with the vote count of Tuesday’s election? Consider also that the party in power loses representation in midterm elections, but despite the substantial turn away from Democrats revealed by CNN, this normal result did not occur on Tuesday. Consider also public dissatisfaction with: record crime, record inflation with high food and gasoline prices, rising interest rates and falling home values, massive illegal immigration, forced indoctrination of school children with transgender theory and critical race theory, Biden’s Covid vaccination mandates that caused health injuries, deaths, and destroyed careers, Biden’s Covid lockdowns that destroyed businesses, jobs, supply chains and raised prices, Biden’s “Russian” sanctions that disrupted energy supply and raised the price of everything. Considering all this dissatisfaction, how did Fetterman, a person impaired by a stroke and afflicted with problems speaking who wants to release criminals from prison, win a seat in the US Senate from Pennsylvania? How did the same Georgia voter who returned Republican Gov. Kemp to office vote against black Republican and football star Herschel Walker in favor of black Democrat Warnock, who hates Trump and white people, for the US Senate? Finally, consider the Diebold voting machines that malfunctioned in New Jersey, Arizona, and Texas, and Gateway Pundit’s report that in Detroit, Michigan, ballots were being delivered through the back door in the early hours of Wednesday morning long after the legal deadline. Now, ask yourself, what is worse, a stolen US election or an American electorate so insouciant and out to lunch that they would keep a political party in office that is leading us into war with Russia and China, that hates white people and persecutes them, that has politicized the FBI and Department of Justice turning them into Gestapo agencies serving Democrat power, that fervently believes that parents are bad for children and should have no say in their education (brainwashing), that is demonizing normality and normalizing perversity, that . . . I could go on and on. Here was a chance for voters to register their dissent, and according to the vote results they failed to do so. If the vote count is honest, then the conclusion is that we must write off the American people as beings too stupid to survive as a free people. This is why I much prefer to believe that the election was again stolen. What can be done about stolen elections? Nothing. Especially when a previously stolen election has left Democrats in control of the executive branch. The executive branch is the police branch. It is not going to enforce election or any law against itself. The Democrat controlled cities are empires unto themselves. They can steal every election and nothing can be done about it. The media is an appendage to the Democrat party. The media supports whatever the official narrative is. This is tomorrow’s, Thursday, November 10, column. I am posting it November 9 prior to the construction of the official narrative that we will soon receive so that at least my readers will have a chance to think before the official explanation is forced on them. |

GREENLAND, N.H. - Police in New Hampshire say they clocked a driver going more than double the speed limit on I-95 North early Saturday morning.
A trooper recorded 20-year-old Darryl Germain of Portland, Maine going 137 mph in a 65 mph zone on the highway in Greenland at about 2:46 a.m. Police said the trooper stopped Germain's 2021 Nissan Armada and noticed an opened bottle of an alcoholic beverage in the backseat. |

Keith Wann, 53, was one of at least two people forced off the production by the non-profit Theatre Development Fund – which staffs Broadway shows with American Sign Language interpreters – after the group decided it was “no longer appropriate to have white interpreters represent black characters for ASL Broadway shows.” Wann filed a federal discrimination lawsuit on Tuesday against the organization and the director of its accessibility programs, Lisa Carling. Carling told him and interpreter Christina Mosleh to “back out” of the show — which celebrates its 25th anniversary on Sunday — so they could be replaced by black sign-language experts, according to the suit and emails obtained by The Post. “To me, just seeing that discrimination, it doesn’t matter if I’m white or black,” said Wann. “This is blatant and I would just hope that other people who have also experienced this would step forward.” |

Forsyth sheriff's deputies and U.S. marshals took a Winston-Salem man into custody Tuesday evening and charged him with first- degree murder and other offenses in connection with shootings in Kernersville that left a woman dead and a man injured.
Derrick Jose Ward, 33, is charged in the shooting death of Paula Kay Self, who was 55 and lived in Kernersville, and the wounding by gunfire of Quintonio Jacquezze Willis, a 33-year-old Winston-Salem man. The shootings took place on Monday in the Weatherstone development, one of the newer subdivisions on the east side of Union Cross Road near Interstate 74 and the Caterpillar plant. Deputies with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and Kernersville police responded at 5 a.m. that day to a report of a shooting in the 4000 block of Weatherton Drive. On arrival, they found Self dead inside a house and Willis outside the house suffering from a gunshot wound The sheriff's office said that investigators determined that an argument took place inside the house leading up to the shooting. Authorities said all three people knew each other. The reason behind a beating at a downtown Erie intersection in August that led to an 80-year-old man's death remained unknown on Friday as the suspect appeared in court for his preliminary hearing.

Cops have released surveillance images of a heartless goon who they say pummeled a 10-year-old girl and her mom onboard a Bronx train last month, authorities said.
The mother and daughter were standing onboard a northbound No. 5 train at the Simpson Avenue station, near Westchester Avenue, just after 4:30 p.m. Oct. 18 when a woman approached them and started punching both in the face and mouth, police said. The motive for the assault remained unclear Friday. The suspect got off the train after the attack, cops said. DES MOINES, Iowa — Iowa authorities say an 18-year-old sex trafficking victim who pleaded guilty to killing a man she said raped her escaped from a women's center where she was serving her probation sentence.
Pieper Lewis was seen walking out of the building at the Fresh Start Women's Center in Des Moines shortly after 6:15 a.m. Friday, and at some point that day her GPS monitor was cut off, according to a probation violation report. A warrant was issued for Lewis' arrest and the probation report asked for her deferred judgment to be revoked and have her original sentence imposed, KCCI reported. Officials found the bitcoin in an underground floor safe and on a single-board computer that was hidden under blankets in a popcorn tin placed in a bathroom closet. Law enforcement also recovered $661,900 in cash, 25 Casascius coins of bitcoin (valued at about 174 bitcoin), an additional 11.116 bitcoin, and a handful of silver- and gold-colored bars. All scripture is for us, but it was not all written to and about us. To rightly divide the word of truth is to recognize and consistently maintain the clear divisions that God put in the scripture. The main division in the word of God is between the prophetic kingdom program of Israel (concerns that which was spoken by the prophets since the world began, Acts 3:21) and the mystery program of the Body of Christ (concerns that which was kept secret since the world began until it was revealed through the apostle Paul, Rom. 16:25). Christ chose Paul to be the pattern and spokesman for the Body of Christ to follow in this present dispensation of grace (1 Cor. 4:16-17; 11:1; Phil. 4:9; 1 Tim. 1:12-16).
