BLACK-ON-WHITE: Louisville jury finds BLACK guilty for murder of his WHITE 'girl-sex-friend' in 2020
A Jefferson County jury has found a man guilty for his connection to the murder of a 33-year-old woman in 2020.
William Sloss was found guilty by a jury on Friday in connection to the murder of Amanda Berry in January 2020. The jury recommended a total of 50 years in prison for Sloss, all of which would run consecutively. They also recommended no probation for him either. Sloss was found guilty of murder, abuse of corpse and being a persistent felony offender in the first degree. Police found Berry dead in the basement of a house in the Parkland neighborhood on Jan. 31, 2020. Sloss was arrested for his connection to her murder just six days after police found her body. Sloss is set to be sentenced on Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. (Black-on-White) |

(Black) Lloyd Love faces murder charge after Aurora shooting involving 2 former co-workers
A 35-year-old man was arrested after a deadly shooting following an argument between two former co-workers. Aurora police say Lloyd Love was arrested on suspicion of first degree murder.
Officers first got a call around 7 p.m. Thursday night of trespassing off East Centretech Parkway and Airport Boulevard. That call was upgraded to a shooting. When officers arrived, they learned the shooting happened during an argument between an employer and a former employee. The victim died on scene and investigators say Love took off. Police found him later and pulled him over to arrest him. |
(Black) Escaped murderer arrested while walking along Florida interstate: police
An escaped murderer out of Georgia is back in custody after troopers found him walking along I-75 in Charlotte County, Florida.
Anthony Moret, 67, escaped from prison while he was serving a life sentence without parole for murder, the Florida Highway Patrol said on Twitter. Troopers spotted Moret around 6 a.m. Saturday, FOX 13 Tampa reports. A trooper learned of Moret's active warrant for escaping by running a wants and warrants check. |

Nestor Hernandez is the suspect accused in the shooting and killing of two hospital employees, including a nurse, outside Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas, on October 22, 2022.
Dallas police confirmed Hernandez’s name in the Methodist Health System shooting, and they say he has been accused of capital murder. Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia called the murders an “abhorrent failure of the criminal justice system.” The victims’ names have not been released.
