BLACK-ON-WHITE: BLACK NBA Star's Nephew Convicted in Road Rage Shooting That Injured a WHITE FEMALE TEEN - BULLET WENT THROUGH HER SPINAL CORD The nephew of a former Washington Wizards star was convicted Thursday in a road rage shooting that injured two teenagers in 2019. Elimar DePaula Padilla was wounded so severely, doctors told her she would never walk again. She was 19 years old when she got into her then boyfriendโs Infiniti sedan about 7:30 p.m. Aug. 8, 2019. He drove to an apartment complex on Crystal Hill Circle in Germantown, Maryland. Unfamiliar with the area, he made a lane change, cutting off another car a Chrysler 200, enraging the driver, 30-year-old DโAndre Wall. Moments later, Wall fired a handgun into the back of the Infiniti before fleeing the scene, prosecutors said. Padilla and the driver were struck and injured. โThe doctors told me Iโm never gonna walk again, that it was a complete spinal cord injury,โ Padilla said. โThe bullet went through my spinal cord.โ A few hours later, Wall exchanged texts with his uncle โ NBA star John Wall, who was playing for the Washington Wizards at that time โ asking for help getting a hotel room in North Carolina that night. He also texted he might need a lawyer, sending a screen shot of the apartment complexโs emergency alert about the shooting. Padilla testified at the trial, but after her appearance, she had to watch the proceedings via a Zoom link in another room. She said after DโAndre Wall was found guilty, she was told the judge felt her continued presence in the courtroom in a wheelchair could have unduly influenced the jury. โIt kind of just caught me off guard, because I wasnโt them to deny me something that should be my right,โ Padilla said. Padilla has vowed that she will walk again. Montgomery County Stateโs Attorney John McCarthy noted Wall was legally prohibited from carrying a gun. โHe should not have had a handgun in the first place based on the convictions he had down in Raleigh, North Carolina,โ McCarthy said. DโAndre Wall was convicted of one count of attempted manslaughter for the shots that injured the driver of the Infiniti sedan. He also was convicted of using a handgun in a violent crime. He is scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 10. He faces a maximum sentence of 60 years in prison. [email link from voiceofreason] (Black-on-White) |

Deputies accused 24-year-old Demetrius Oglesby of Snellville, Georgia, of crashing a stolen box truck from a Charlotte business down an embankment in the 6600 block of Weddington Road on Oct. 22. QUEER FAGGOT California Sodomite accused of HOMO-sexual assault of man on Denver-bound plane A Northern California man exposed himself and inappropriately touched another passenger while flying to Colorado this week, authorities said. Robert Earl Glasper III, 26, was arrested after his flight from Sacramento touched down at Denver International Airport on Monday at about 8:44 p.m. MDT, FBI Special Agent Brandon Barnes wrote in an affidavit supporting the Oakland man's arrest. As Glasper and the male passenger seated next to him put on their seat belts, the defendant allegedly "reached out with his hand and grasped the left side of the victim's buttocks, giving it a squeeze," Barnes wrote. Glasper kept touching his seat neighbor's hands and legs and "also repeatedly asked the victim to `jerk him off,' " the affidavit revealed. The suspect went to the restroom before returning to his seat and exposing himself, the FBI said. "At this point, the victim noticed that Glasper appeared to have an erection," Special Agent Barnes wrote. "Glasper began masturbating and exposed his penis to the victim saying to the victim, 'Look at this.' " At least one fellow traveler, seated across the aisle from the two men, allegedly saw Glasper masturbate and wipe his hands on the seat. |
Former US soldier returns to Afghanistan, rescues Christians from MUSLIM Taliban A former U.S. soldier said heโs brought at least 30 at-risk people, including Christians, from Afghanistan across the closed Pakistan border and was lashed by the Taliban for his efforts. Polish lawmakers OK anti-migrant wall on Belarus border Poland and other EU nations are accusing the Belarusian regime of President Alexander Lukashenko of encouraging and aiding migrants from the Mideast and Africa to seek entry into the EU through their borders with Belarus. It says the government in Minsk is seeking to destabilize the whole bloc in retaliation for Western sanctions. Some migrants, chiefly from Iraq and Syria, have died from exhaustion near Poland's border with Belarus, which runs over 400 kilometers (250 miles) through forest, bogs and along the Bug River. Poland has built a razor-wire fence on the border and sent thousands of border guards, troops and police, but the measures have failed to stop the inflow of migrants. The border guards have also been pushing migrants back across the border, including some families with children, and a new Polish law makes that legal. Poland is also in talks with the European Union's border agency Frontex regarding plans to fly the migrants back to their home countries. Migrants who get into any EU country can ask for international protection, or asylum that will cover all of the EU, but in most cases the requests are denied. |

Police officials exchanged warnings of Antifa, Black Lives Matter โblending inโ with Jan. 6 crowds Newly revealed documents show that law enforcement officials were concerned that far-left activists would โattempt to blend inโ with Trump supporters at Jan. 6 protests and โcause trouble especially around cameras.โ In a Jan. 5 email, a U.S. Capitol Police Intelligence and Interagency Coordination Division official alerted several federal and police agencies to a Twitter post about Antifa and Black Lives Matter protestors from Baltimore and Washington โalready busing people in to disturb January 6th.โ The email went to the U.S. Park Police, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Transportation and Washington Metro Police Department. It was among 300 pages of U.S. Park Police records related to the Jan. 6 riot that were obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. โOrders given to dress like โMAGAโ blend in cause trouble especially around cameras,โ read the Twitter post that was shared by the USCP intel official. โAt night arson has been ordered. All to be blamed on Trump supporters attending.โ In the email, the official told law enforcement colleagues that the post had received โmultiple repliesโ saying that BLM and Antifa activists โwill wear MAGA hats backwards, wear camouflage and attempt blend into the MAGA crowd.โ During and after the Jan. 6 riot, news outlets including The Washington Times reported that activists from leftist organizations had been present in the crowd that stormed the Capitol. While law enforcement identified far-right extremists in the crowds, no Antifa or other far-left activists were identified. The Times issued a correction for its erroneous report. However, the emails confirm that the possibility of agitation by leftist activists was on the radar of law enforcement officials as they prepared for the protests. In the emails, the officials do little to assess the credibility of the tweet. โThis guyโs Twitter says heโs a US Senate candidate for MD in 2022,โ the email reads. โHe retweets a lot from Lin Wood.โ The account that posted the tweet referenced by the officials has since been suspended. Law enforcement officials were also concerned about the possibility of counter-protestors clashing with pro-Trump demonstrators on Jan. 6, according to a U.S. Park Police Incident Briefing the day before. The incident briefing note, which also was obtained in the FOIA lawsuit, outlines several rallies scheduled to take place throughout the day and details the number of anticipated attendees for each rally gleaned from social media posts. The report identified the Women for America Firstโs โMarch for Trumpโ featuring President Trump and members of his family as keynote speakers as a potential flashpoint. โThis group has significant potential to attract counter-protesters, similar to events in November and December 2020,โ the report reads. โMultiple acts of violence have occurred in the downtown Washington, D.C. area during and after similar events hosted by the same organizer.โ A Capitol Police spokesperson told The Times that the email exchange alone does not indicate that the officials found the claim credible. โIntelligence and law enforcement agencies across this region receive a lot of tips about social media chatter,โ the spokesperson said. โThere is no indication the information in that online chatter ended up being credible.โ โWe donโt have proof ANTIFA was on-site on 1/6,โ the spokesperson said. โANTIFA was not among the dozens of people who were arrested on 1/6.โ Utah resident John Sullivan, who sold riot footage from inside the Capitol to new outlets for upwards of $35,000, was later arrested for being inside the Capitol. He has described himself as a Black Lives Matter supporter and founder of Insurgence USA, which Utah-based Deseret News described as โa social justice group โฆ that calls itself anti-racist and protests police brutality.โ Mr. Sullivan says he was acting as an independent journalist on Jan. 6 and has denied any affiliation with Antifa. Prosecutors noted that he was not affiliated with a news outlet and did not have press credentials on Jan. 6. |

BLACK-ON-WHITE: (white) Man Killed On Highway 153 Had Just Been Involved In Drug Deal With The (black) Shooter Genesis Vaughn Charged With Killing Stewart Luttrell A man who was killed while driving along Highway 153 on Tuesday night had just carried out a drug deal with the shooter, police said. Stewart Brodie Luttrell, 35, was killed in the incident that resulted in traffic being clogged for hours. Luttrell's wife, 27, was also shot. Their two-year-old son was not injured. Police said Wednesday night that homicide investigators had arrested 26-year-old Genesis Latroy Vaughn in connection with the incident. He was charged with criminal homicide, two counts of attempted criminal homicide, felony reckless endangerment, possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony, and unlawful possession of a weapon. Police said they were dispatched to 590 Highway 153 northbound, where they found Luttrell dead with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and head. His wife had been shot in the hand. A detective retrieved video from Midnite Oil at 4831 Bonny Oaks Dr. that showed Vaughn and Luttrell making a hand to hand drug transaction at a gas pump. The Luttrells were in a white Ford F250 pickup truck and Vaughn got into the rear of a gray Nissan Versa. The vehicles exited toward Highway 153. Witnesses said the Versa sped off in pursuit of the Ford pickup. Police said it was determined that Vaughn and Luttrell were texting one another just prior to the homicide. The cell phone number contacting Luttrell just before the shooting was registered to Vaughn. The wife of Luttrell said the man who shot them was in the rear seat behind the driver. She said it was the same man who carried out the drug transaction. Police located Vaughn and he admitted having a drug deal with Luttrell. He also said he was in the back seat of the Versa. He also admitted the phone number that called Luttrell after the drug deal was his. Vaughn was last arrested last September for vandalism, drugs and possessing a firearm with intent to go armed. At approximately 8:31 p.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a person shot at 590 Highway 153 Northbound. Upon arrival, officers located two adult victims suffering from gunshot wounds and one uninjured child. Mr. Luttrell had an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on scene. The woman's injury is considered non-life threatening. She was taken to a hospital by Hamilton County EMS. Investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit responded to conduct an investigation and collect potential evidence from the scene. During the initial on scene investigation, police obtained information to indicate this is not the result of a random road rage incident. Stewart Brodie Luttrell was in the news on April 27, 2015. That day 9:30 p.m. Hamilton County Sheriff Deputy Andrew Voss observed a gray Hyundai matching the description of the vehicle of Luttrell, who had outstanding felony warrants issued out of Hamilton County and Signal Mountain. The vehicle was observed at a car wash. Deputy Voss pulled into the car wash and was able to positively identify the suspect, along with a female companion, Amanda Alexandria Keener. Deputy Voss activated his emergency equipment and pulled in front of Mr. Luttrell's vehicle, blocking the Hyundai from exiting. Luttrell stopped, and Ms. Keener entered the vehicle's passenger side. Luttrell then put the vehicle into reverse and fled the scene, traveling towards Sequatchie County on Taft Highway. Deputy Voss initiated pursuit. Upon entering Sequatchie County, Luttrell took a corner too closely near the Mount Carmel Baptist Church parking lot and spun out of control, wrecking his vehicle and completely disabling it. Luttrell exited the vehicle and fled on foot, with Deputy Voss close behind. After a lengthy foot pursuit of over 1,000 yards, Deputy Voss was able to successfully apprehend him, taking him into custody with considerable resistance. Ms. Keener did not flee the accident scene and was compliant with commands. She was also taken into custody. The vehicle was unregistered and Luttrell had no insurance. Luttrell and Ms. Keener were married last August. Affidavit: Gas station drug transaction preceded deadly Highway 153 shooting [NNN reader email newslink] (Black-on-White) |

(Black) Columbus City Schools teacher arrested by Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) โ A Columbus City Schools teacher has been arrested by the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant announced Wednesday. Robert Pea, 60, of Columbus, was arrested Wednesday morning and is charged with one count of compelling prostitution. The Northland High School teacher is accused of contacting a 16-year-old girl through an online advertisement to have sex at a hotel in Reynoldsburg. Court records show, Pea had agreed to pay the girl $80 in exchange for sex. "This morning, we arrested him at Northland High School. Luckily, none of the students were in school because today was a teacher work day,โ said Sgt. Dana Hess, director of the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force. According to Columbus City Schools, Pea was a social studies teacher, boys bowling and golf coach at Northland High School and has been with the district since 1998. Hess says the investigation began in August after detectives received multiple tips about a teen who was possibly a sex-trafficking victim. After several interviews and cell phone data, they were able to identify Pea as a potential suspect. "We started investigating the primary targets for this case and during the course of our investigation, we uncovered the teacher who was a sex buyer, who was paying for sex with the victim,โ said Hess. On Monday, Pea was interviewed by agents and not long after, investigators filed a charge of compelling prostitution against him. "We wanted to act as quickly as possible, so he was no longer in contact with any children,โ said Hess. As for the victim, Hess says she's safe. "She attends a private school, she is currently in the custody of her mother, and she is undergoing counseling, so she is safe,โ said Hess. Columbus City Schools said, Pea has been assigned to home without pay while he is incarcerated. If he is released, his assignment to home will be paid. mugshot [email link from voiceofreason] |

(Black NIGERIAN) Virginia Tech football player, a former Cox High star, indicted on second-degree murder charge A suspended Virginia Tech football player from Virginia Beach will be tried on a second-degree murder charge in Montgomery County Circuit Court. Isimemen David โIsiโ Etute, accused of killing a man he mistook for a woman when they met for sex, was indicted by a grand jury Tuesday, the Roanoke Times reported. A hearing is scheduled for Nov. 18 so attorneys can work out a timeline for the case, according to the newspaper. Etute, 18, a former star at Cox High School, was preparing for his first season at Virginia Tech when he was arrested and charged in the death of Jerry Paul Smith. Etute was matched with someone named โAngieโ on Tinder and met for a sexual encounter April 10, according to previous police statements. Etute returned to Smithโs Blacksburg apartment May 31 to determine if Smith was male or female, according to attorneys and witnesses at earlier hearings. A detective testified at Etuteโs preliminary hearing that the football player told investigators that on May 31, he groped Smith to try to determine his gender, used his phoneโs flashlight to get a better look at Smith in the dark apartment, then began punching him. Etute was released on a $75,000 secured bond about a week after his arrest and since then has been under house arrest and electronic monitoring. Etute has been suspended from the Virginia Tech football team per athletic department guidelines. (Black) Accused Texas con artist's scam breaks cellmate lover out of jail, both on the run: Davion Sandifer and Devante Jones being sought by police. A Houston man described by prosecutors as a "repeat con artist" is on the run after allegedly committing fraud to bond his lover out of jail, reports say. Police in Texas now have an arrest warrant out for Davion Sandifer, 22, according to KTRK. "He's just willing to do anything he can for his own objectives," Harris County Assistant District Attorney Keith Houston told the station. In court documents viewed by KTRK, prosecutors allege Sandifer became romantically involved with 26-year-old Devante Jones โ a convicted felon โ while they were housed in the same jail unit. After Sandifer bonded out of jail last month, he then illegally used the identity and personal information of two other people to secure an $80,000 bond for Jonesโ release, the documents further allege. In July, Sandifer โ whom KTRK says prosecutors have described as a "repeat con artist" -- was arrested, charged and accused of running an employment scam. Prosecutors said Sandifer set up a fake charity called the Genisis Charitable Foundation and then used personal information shared by a job applicant to obtain a loan, lease an apartment and open a debit card, according to KTRK. |

(white) Boyfriend (of black woman with 3 black kids) in Houston House of Horrors charged with murder of 8 yr old boy whose decomposing corpse found with black siblings The Houston man who has been charged with beating to death his girlfriend's eight-year-old son and then leaving the child's body to rot in the insect-infested apartment housing the victim's three starving brothers would routinely stop by to abuse the younger children, authorities said on Wednesday. Brian Coulter, 31, on Tuesday was arrested and charged with felony murder in connection with the death of the eight-year-old child, identified in court documents obtained by DailyMail.com as Kendrick Lee. His bond was set at $1million. Coulter was not present in court on Wednesday because he was undergoing a mental health evaluation. Gloria Williams, 35, Coulter's girlfriend and the victim's mother, is charged with injury to a child by omission and tampering with evidence - a human corpse. She is expected to appear before a judge later on Wednesday. During a press conference held by Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez on Wednesday, investigators revealed that a few weeks prior to Sunday's gruesome discovery, Coulter had allegedly broken the jaw of Williams' youngest son. The child was denied immediate medical attention and will now require surgery. According to authorities, the younger children had been subjected to 'consistent' beatings at Coulter's hands and were never allowed out of the apartment. 'This is a textbook case of a person that abuses children,' said Harris County Sgt Dennis Wolfford. Wolfford, who heads the sheriff's homicide unit, also had some harsh words for Williams, calling her 'an abuser by omission.' The sergeant said that there is no evidence that the mom-of-six was a victim of domestic violence herself, and that she had a year to report her son Kendrick's murder and her other children's abuse, but she chose not to do it. Sheriff Gonzalez said that at least two of the three brothers, ages 15, 10 and 7, are on the autistic spectrum. All three children told responding officers that they were hungry and requested donuts. 'They were very sweet children, very nice, very well-spoken,' Wolfford said, noting, however, that they had 'blankness in the eyes.' He added: 'it was very sad. They are good kids.' Gonzalez and his investigators offered some further disturbing details on what they found inside the family's apartment, revealing that all that was left of Kendrick Lee's body was a 'dry' skeleton, which was out in the open, and that the unit was swarming with flies and cockroaches. According to the sheriff, Kendrick and his three surviving brothers were fathered by two different men, one of whom has died. |

BLACK-ON-WHITE: BLACK AFRICAN FROM LIBERIA pleads guilty in demonic murder of innocent 14-year old White girl - stabbed MORE THAN TWENTY TIMES FARGO, N.D. -- A North Dakota man has pleaded guilty to killing Jupiter Paulsen, a 14-year-old girl who authorities said was strangled and stabbed more than 20 times in a random attack outside a store in June. Arthur Kollie, 22, entered an Alford plea Monday in the death of Jupiter Paulsen. With the plea, the Fargo man maintains his innocence, but acknowledges there is enough evidence for a conviction. Charging documents say a sanitation worker saw Kollie attack the girl the morning of June 4 outside a Party City store in Fargo. The witness told police he saw Kollie strangling her. After Kollie ran away, the worker said he began life-saving efforts and called 911. An autopsy said the cause of death was asphyxiation by strangulation complicated by multiple sharp-force injuries. The girl was stabbed more than 20 times, according to court documents. Kollie told investigators that he suffers from anxiety, depression and multiple personality disorder and had used methamphetamine that day, KVLY-TV reported, citing court documents. Investigators have found no evidence that Kollie and the girl knew each other. BLACK-ON-WHITE: "Enough is enough!" (Black) Gunman gets life in prison for killing (White) woman at Bob Evans CANTON โ An East Canton man who killed his on-again-off-again lover inside a busy Canton restaurant got the maximum sentence of life in prison without parole. "There's nothing I can do to bring her back, but I'd just like the court to understand that I am very sorry and remorseful, and I would love for her family to forgive me," Richard Nelson told the court prior to sentencing Monday. A Stark County Common Pleas jury last week convicted Nelson, 55, of aggravated murder for the shooting death Rebecca Rogers, a 38-year-old waitress who died while she worked April 16 at Bob Evans. Rogers' family was not in the courtroom for sentencing because the trial and lengthy deliberations had "taken a lot out of them," Stark County Chief Prosecutor Dennis Barr said. The judge said the community is tired of killings, shots being fired, young people dying and tired of the bloodshed that seems to be happening on a weekly basis. Forchione pointed out that Nelson admitted being selfish in one of his phone calls from jail that were recorded by investigators. "You're damn right you're selfish...you took so much from so many people in this room and now you have to answer for it," he said. "...this community needs to know that enough is enough and I've had enough," Forchione said just before handing down Nelson's life term with no chance at parole. "While nothing can bring Rebecca back, at least her family will now know that Richard Nelson will spend the rest of his life in prison for taking the life of their daughter, sister and mother." Throughout the trial, Nelson was heard on recorded jail calls saying how much he loved Rebecca and that they were supposed to be together. "If he would've loved her, he never would have in cold blood went to that restaurant and shot her dead three times. He took away her life because he was some scorned lover," Forchione said. Nelson hunted down Rogers as she worked the breakfast shift at the Bob Evans at Lesh Street and U.S. Route 62 on April 16. According to trial testimony, Rogers was ending her relationship with Nelson and had started dating another man, unbeknownst to Nelson. Nelson called Rogers over 300 times within the 24 hours leading up to Roger's death. He'd claimed she'd given him a sexually transmitted disease and was trying to get in touch with her, but she wasn't answering his calls. Nelson's defense team argued the shooting wasn't planned, but occurred in a moment of rage, which was the difference between aggravated murder and murder. "We were supposed to go down together," Nelson told his former wife from jail. Suspect in Canton shooting death of (white) Bob Evans waitress in police custody Nelson and Rogers had been in a(n interracial sexual) relationship, but recently separated. Rogers had filed a police report against Nelson in March 2017 after he entered her home. Nelson was charged with stalking by menacing and burglary and taken to the Stark County Jail. Deputies continue search for (black) double murder suspect who failed to appear in court COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Colleton County Sheriffโs deputies are โexhausting all resourcesโ searching for a man charged with two counts of murder after he failed to appear for his scheduled court date. Jonathan Moore is accused of killing Brandon Dewayne Ferguson, 23 and Alexander Blair Blakeney, 28 in 2018. Ferguson and Blakeney were cousins. Moore posted a $125,000 bond in July. One of the conditions of his bond required him to wear an electronic monitoring device. The court has issued a warrant for his arrest for failing to appear for court. While deputies continue to search for Moore, the families of the two victims are reliving the nightmare. Kawana Floyd, Fergusonโs aunt, says Moore never should have been eligible for bond. โIt doesnโt feel real,โ Floyd said. โEvery time itโs even discussed with anyone else they canโt get past the shock of him even having a bond.โ Judges consider two things when setting bond: flight risk and danger to the community. Floyd says they believe Moore fits the description of โdanger to the community.โ โIf he is capable of doing what heโs done already, what else would he do,โ Floyd said. โSo yeah, I do fear for the community.โ |

(Black) Connecticut pimp convicted of sex-trafficking women, teen at Super Bowl
A Connecticut pimp has been convicted of sex-trafficking two women and a teenager at last yearโs Super Bowl and faces up to life in prison, officials said. A Fort Lauderdale, Fla., jury found Edward Walker, 48, of New Haven, guilty last week of two counts of sex trafficking by force and coercion and transporting a person for sexual activity during the 2020 Super Bowl, the US Attorneyโs Office for the Southern District of Florida said Friday. Prosecutors said Walker took two women and a 17-year-old girl from Connecticut to Miami in January 2020 ahead of Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, where he coerced them to sell sex for money โ โall of whichโ he kept. Walker had also plotted to take the women to Chicago during the NBAโs All-Star Game in February and to Mardi Gras in New Orleans, where he planned to further sexually exploit them, prosecutors said. A criminal complaint obtained by the Miami Herald shows Walker was busted after an undercover officer answered an online ad for a sex worker named โFoxxy,โ whom the investigator met at a Comfort Suites Inn in Kendall in January. โFoxxyโ said the other woman, the 17-year-old and Walker were planning to move to Arizona from Connecticut but headed to Miami ahead of the Super Bowl. Walker then took them to a strip club and tried to get them jobs, but they werenโt hired because they didnโt have identification, according to the complaint. โFoxxyโ said Walker bought the women high heels and โorderedโ them to walk around Ocean Drive, where they were forced to prostitute themselves for sex acts. Walker also threatened to punch the 17-year-old if she didnโt earn him enough money selling her body, the complaint states. Walker decided to advertise online when the two women and teen didnโt make any money. The 17-year-old also told investigators Walker had previously advertised on backpage.com and had taken her to Texas before, the Miami Herald reported. Walker, who was also charged with production of child pornography in June, faces up to life in prison when heโs sentenced on Jan. 6, federal prosecutors said. The FBI announced Walkerโs arrest in February 2020, saying he was one of three people arrested by its Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force on federal sex-trafficking charges during the Super Bowl festivities. |

Ex-NFL playerโs suit to resume CA executions fizzles after governorโs order made issue moot SAN QUENTIN โ A lawsuit that sought to resume executions in California has fizzled six years after it was filed, in light of Gov. Gavin Newsomโs 2019 order to halt the death penalty, court records show. In an order late last month, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals officially ended a lawsuit filed in 2015 by Bradley Winchell and ex-NFL player Kermit Alexander, which attempted to compel the state to resume executing the more than 700 people on death row at the time. But the plaintiffs had no path to victory after Newsomโs order and agreed to a stipulated dismissal, the 9th Circuit decision says. Both Winchell and Alexander, who played in the NFL from 1963-73 for the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles, were family members of victims of shocking, high-profile murders. In August 1984, Alexanderโs mother, sister, and two nephews, aged 8 and 13, were murdered by members of the Rollin 60โs Neighborhood Crips in a home invasion in Los Angeles. Alexander later gave public interviews detailing how he went on a โmanhuntโ for the killers until the cityโs mayor called him off. Alexander sought the execution of Tiequon Cox, a high-ranking gang member convicted in the quadruple murder who also stabbed Crips co-found Stanley โTookieโ Williams in the neck in a 1989 attempted murder at San Quentin. Winchell, whose 17-year-old daughter was tortured and murdered by Michael Morales in a murder-for-hire over a love triangle, sought Moralesโ execution. Cox, 55, has been on Death Row since 1986. Morales, 61, has been on Death Row since 1983. California currently has 697 condemned inmates. |

Rural Canadian pastor spends extra night in jail after refusing condition keeping him from church EXCLUSIVE: A pastor from Manitoba, Canada, who was arrested earlier this week tells Fox News he spent an extra night in prison after refusing a release condition that effectively required him to stop preaching at his church services. Pastor Tobias Tissen of Steinbach, Manitoba, was imprisoned for two days after being arrested for a warrant issued in May related to a provincial public health order banning outdoor gatherings of more than five people. Tissen told Fox News that his bail hearing, at first scheduled for Tuesday, was postponed after he refused the initial conditions of his release. "They had these conditions that I wasn't allowed to attend any gatherings that were in contravention of COVID-19," Tissen said. "And that would automatically prohibit me from going to church and preaching. And I could not agree with that." Tissen had been in hiding for months before his arrest Monday, for some time only making public appearances at his Church of God Restoration in Steinbach, Manitoba, which is about an hour's drive north of the Minnesota border. Church of God Restoration and its congregation of less than 200 people have repeatedly made headlines during the pandemic for clashing with authorities over church gatherings. Tissen and the church have racked up tens of thousands in fines. In November 2020, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) blocked the church's parking lot to prevent parishioners from attending a drive-in service. Tissen, whose family left Germany to escape its ban on homeschooling, said he was not thinking about his warrant when he and his family went to spend time together at a park in Steinbach before his mother moved to Austria the next morning. Tissen speculated that someone had seen him at the park and reported him to police, who pulled him over on his way home and informed him he was under arrest. According to video of the incident, Tissen explained to the RCMP officers that he would like to hug his mother goodbye because she is leaving the country. When the officer tells Tissen he will let him hug his mother if he gets in the car, he agrees. While he was being detained at Steinbach police headquarters, church members walked around the building singing hymns. Later that night, Tissen was driven 45 minutes north to Winnipeg, where he was ultimately jailed at the Winnipeg Remand Centre. Since the pandemic, other churches throughout Canada have faced imprisoned pastors, locked facilities, steep fines and ongoing government intrusion. Tissen's church was one of seven rural congregations that sued Manitoba over the lockdown orders, which a judge ruled Thursday did not violate the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Tissen believes Canadian authorities are "absolutely" targeting clergy, which he said "shows it's so clear that this is a fight between good and evil, and they're targeting those public figures that are in the lead who are fighting against the evil." "In Ephesians, it says that we're fighting against spiritual wickedness in high places and principalities and powers," said Tissen. "That's it, right now, what we see. And they're after all of us who are giving to God what belongs to God and to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. But now, Caesar wants that which belongs to God. "And as Christians, we just cannot. We cannot comply with that," he added. |

BLACK-ON-WHITE: drug-addled soulless black awarded 146-years of free room and board, etc. for murder of a White woman, Asian A Fort Wayne man convicted of killing a man and woman in a northeast-side home last year will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars. Allen Superior Judge Fran Gull sentenced Kerwins Louis, 22, Friday to 146 years in prison. A jury last month found Louis guilty of two counts of murder, two counts of felony murder and robbery in the February 2020 shooting deaths of Mon Ong, 21, and Brooke Wendel, 23, at 2405 Barnhart Ave., near East State and Coliseum boulevards. Meng Kem, then 27, was shot in the neck and the head but survived. He told police men came to rob him of his money, which he estimated to be about $1,500. Louis is the third person to be sent to prison in the case. Gull also sentenced Jamesley Paul, 24, in July to 146 years. He was convicted of murder, felony murder and robbery. The jury found him guilty in Ong's death, but not guilty in the death of Wendel. Kyaw Htet Hlang, 24, pleaded guilty last year to two counts of felony murder and attempted robbery. He was sentenced to 50 years. Felony murder is defined by state law as a murder committed in the act of another felony, such as robbery. Meng told police he saw Hlang "shoot his girl" and that he had grown up with Hlang. He described the two other men and gave a possible address for one of the men, according to court documents. Officer Jean Gigli stopped a vehicle at Kenwood Avenue and Carew Street two hours after the shooting. The officer smelled burnt marijuana and saw narcotics and cash in the back-seat passenger door. Paul and Louis were both in the car, although they weren't driving, court records said. Shortly before 8 a.m., Hlang was pulled over on North Anthony Boulevard near Coliseum Boulevard. At first he wouldn't provide identification, but police were able to identify him from his tattoos, court records said. In the car, a red Nissan Juke, police also discovered a semi-automatic pistol with a magazine in it and a slide locked to the rear "as if it had been run dry," records said. Detectives Liza Anglin and Brian Martin interviewed Hlang. He told Anglin there were other people with him when the shootings occurred and that he was the last person to leave the house. Hlang said he was supposed to go back to the home and pick up the gun in the morning. The gun was dropped between houses, one of which was his friend's. Then, he said, he was supposed to "get rid of it." Martin asked him whether the two accomplices received drugs and money when they robbed and shot the victims. Hlang told him the two others "got all the dope and money and he didn't get (expletive)." Martin and Detective Scott Tegtmeyer interviewed Louis, who at first denied any involvement in the shooting. He said Paul was his cousin. Louis then said the three of them went to the Barnhart home to get some "tree," another name for marijuana. When asked whether he could remember who started shooting, Louis said he couldn't remember, records said. 'Incredibly vicious and heinous crime':(Black) Md. man gets 45 years in prison for 2017 rape
GAITHERSBURG, Md. (7News) โ A judge sentenced a Gaithersburg man to 45 years in prison for raping a woman near a bus stop in 2017. Authorities say, David L. Williams, pleaded guilty to first-degree rape on Oct. 4. The plea stems from an incident on the morning of Oct. 6, 2017. Officials say Williams targeted a woman as she waited at the bus stop along Watkins Mill Road near Travis Lane in Gaithersburg. They say he threw her down an embankment behind the bus stop, forced cocaine into her mouth and brutally raped and beat her, then stole her belongings leaving her there unconscious and naked. Police say when the woman attempted to run away, he told her he would kill her. She continued to scream, so he put his hands and her jacket around her neck and strangled her. According to officials, DNA and injury confirm that Williams vaginally and anally raped the victim. They say the victim was hospitalized for a week following the rape and had to attend physical therapy for eight months. Testing revealed that Williams' DNA matched that of the suspect's DNA taken from the scene of the rape. [email link from voiceofreason] |
(Black) Army veteran faked paralysis to get over $1M in benefits, used money to buy sports car, prosecutors say An Army veteran received more than $1 million in disability and social security benefits by falsely claiming he was paralyzed, federal prosecutors alleged Thursday. In addition to the monthly benefits, Rich received grants from the VA for "automobile and adaptive equipment" and "specially adapted housing." Instead of using the funds to purchase a specially adapted vehicle, he bought a BMW 645ci luxury sports coupe, which was eventually totaled, officials said. |
(Black female) Houston area health care worker accused of stealing more than $70K from elderly couple HOUSTON โ A Houston-area health care worker who is accused of stealing from her elderly patients has two felony warrants out for her arrest. Brittany Nicole Kelly, 30, is a wanted woman. Kelly has a criminal history spanning over several years for misdemeanor thefts. Last July, Kelly was charged in Harris County with two felony thefts for fraudulent use of identifying information of the elderly. Warrants were issued for her arrest. Kelly is accused of stealing the identity of an elderly Houston couple while working in their home as a caretaker for Right At Home In-Home Care & Assistance. The timeline of the alleged crimes spanned12 months, from June 2019 to June 2020. Rania Mankarious, CEO of Crime Stoppers of Houston, said Texas has very strict laws requiring healthcare workers to undergo background checks, but there are loopholes. โThe state of Texas has actually taken measures to ensure that people with criminal records and arrest records donโt end up working in these types of positions,โ Mankarious said. โBut, ultimately, people still take it upon themselves to find their own person to come into their home and take care of an aging person or maybe deal with agencies that arenโt really following the law, and thatโs where you end up with this gray space.โ According to court documents, the then 86-year-old male victim said upon checking his financial transactions, he noticed checked were forged in his name, money was withdrawn from his bank accounts and credit cards were opened in his now-deceased wifeโs name. More than $70,933.50 was stolen from the couple. Of that amount, $8,880 was used to pay Kellyโs rent and $374.54 was charged on a credit card to purchase hair extensions. SAMPLE OF OPEN-BORDER BIDEN'S GUESTS SPANISH-SPEAKING HISPANIC Salvadoran "IMMIGRANT" to plead guilty to 4 Nevada killings RENO, Nev. -- A 22-year-old Salvadoran immigrant was scheduled to plead guilty Thursday to killing four people in Nevada, in an agreement that a prosecutor said would avoid two death penalty trials and put him in prison for the rest of his life. Wilber Ernesto Martinez Guzman appeared before Washoe County District Court Judge Connie Steinheimer to admit killing a Reno couple and two women in Gardnerville in January 2019. Martinez Guzman told police he committed the two-week series of break-ins, thefts and shootings because he needed money to buy methamphetamine. The plea was expected to fully resolve murder, burglary and weapon cases in Washoe and Douglas counties, Washoe County District Attorney Chris Hicks said in a statement before proceedings began, and result in โmaximum sentencesโ that would run consecutively. Hicks and Douglas County District Attorney Mark Jackson initially planned one death-penalty trial for Martinez Guzman, but the Nevada Supreme Court ruled Sept. 30 that the defendant would have to be tried separately in the two county jurisdictions. Authorities said Martinez Guzman stole a .22-caliber handgun from Gerald and Sharon David in southwest Reno on Jan. 4, 2019; shot and killed Constance Koontz, 56, and Sophia Renken, 74, in separate attacks in their Gardnerville homes several days later; and returned to the Davids' house to rob and kill them Jan 15. Gerald David, 81, and his 80-year-old wife were prominent in the Reno Rodeo Association and had employed Martinez Guzman as a landscaper the summer before. Martinez Guzman was arrested in Carson City during a manhunt that had investigators track an Apple watch stolen from Koontz to Martinez Guzmanโs mother. Martinez Guzman has been held without bail at the Washoe County Detention Facility in Reno. Washoe County sheriffโs Detective Stefanie Brady told a grand jury several weeks after Martinez Guzman's arrest that he initially denied wrongdoing but later acknowledged through a Spanish interpreter he had โdone something thatโs unforgiveable.โ โHe said he needed the money for the meth,โ Brady testified. The case drew attention at the time from then-President Donald Trump, who said it showed the need to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. SPAISH-SPEAKING HISPANIC Man gets 11 years in prison for drowning daughter in CATHOLIC church SANTA ROSA, Calif. (AP) โ A Northern California man was sentenced to 11 years in prison for the 2016 drowning of his 4-year-old daughter in the baptismal pool of a Catholic church. Gerardo Mendoza, 47, had been smoking methamphetamine for three days and began believing his two youngest children were โbeing attacked by evilโ when he took them to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in the small California wine country city of Healdsburg on Nov. 20, 2016, authorities have said. The 11-year sentence issued by a judge Wednesday was predetermined, part of a negotiated plea to manslaughter that Mendoza agreed to as he was facing trial on murder charges, which could have put him in prison for 25 years to life, the Press Democrat reported. Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Robert LaForge told Mendoza that several statements he made to probation officers before Wednesdayโs hearing were objectionable. โCertainly, Iโm going to give you the maximum allowed by law based on what I read,โ LaForge said. โThere were a couple things that were concerning. Your statement was concerning, minimizing. I want you to know that.โ LaForge was referring to Mendoza's comments to a probation officer, who prepared a presentencing report and recommendation to the court, that he gave his daughter water but never submerged her. Investigators said Mendoza wanted to find a priest. But after he couldnโt find one, he led his daughter Maria and 9-year-old son into a cross-shaped baptismal pool at least a foot (30 centimeters) deep, court documents show. He then carried the girlโs body to a nearby police station and stood naked in the stationโs back parking lot yelling โhelpโ and โpoliceโ in Spanish as he held his fully clothed and soaked daughter, authorities said. His 9-year-old son stood next to him wearing only shorts. The child was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Facing a potential 25-years-to-life sentence if convicted of drowning his daughter, Mendoza pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter. A no-contest plea is not an admission of guilt but is treated as such at sentencing. NEWS ARTICLE DOES NOT INDICATE CITIZENSHIP STATUS OF SUSPECT |

White female Dallas Fire-Rescue Officer Pauline Perez injured (Black)Man who shot into apartment where girlfriend had been hiding caused Oak Cliff explosion A man accused of causing an apartment explosion in southeast Oak Cliff fired a shot the night before into the unit where his girlfriend and son hid from him. The bullet hit a stove and created the gas leak that ignited and injured residents and firefighters, according to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained Wednesday. Phillip Dankins, 28, faces seven counts of deadly conduct in connection with the Sept. 29 explosion at the Highland Hills Apartments in the 5700 block of Highland Hills Drive. Firefighters were investigating reports of a gas leak when the blast occurred about 10:30 a.m. Dankins has been in the Dallas County jail since early October on other charges. His lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment. Phillip Dankins (dob 2/6/93) faces seven counts of deadly conduct related to an apartment explosion in southeast Oak Cliff. Dankins is accused of shooting into the apartment unit where his girlfriend had been earlier that night, rupturing the hose behind a stove and causing a gas leak, the affidavit says. The couple argued about 10 p.m., and the woman โ who is pregnant with their other child โ fled and was wandering the apartment complex with their 8-month-old son. A man who lived at the complex saw her and the baby and let them into his unit, the affidavit says. Dankins came to the manโs apartment looking for them, and the man pointed a gun at Dankins, according to the affidavit. At one point during that time, Dankins returned to the manโs apartment and fired into the front door and side window, hitting the hose behind the stove, the affidavit says. The cameras were not pointed at the apartment and didnโt catch Dankins shooting into the unit, according to the affidavit. The hose leaked gas until about 10 a.m., propelling other apartment residents to call authorities. Four Dallas Fire-Rescue officials โ Capt. Christopher Gadomski, Driver Engineer Ronald W. Hall, Officer Pauline Perez and Officer Andrew Curtis โ responded and met with three apartment employees. Perez went into the apartment and smelled gas, the affidavit says. She turned to exit just as the gas from the oven ignited. The blast hurled Perez, who was released from the hospital Friday, 30 feet and she suffered 3rd- and 2nd-degree burns, the affidavit says. Gadomski was blown backwards into a nearby apartment, and he suffered broken tibias and fibulas in both legs, as well as burns to his face and body, the affidavit says. (Black-on-White) |
BLACK-on-White: Gunman in deadly Tucson Amtrak shooting was on the run, facing violence charges The man who died in a shootout that killed a DEA agent and wounded two others at Tucsonโs downtown Amtrak depot was on the run after bonding out of jail in California. Darrion Taylor, 26, bonded out of jail in Alameda County in Northern California in late December last year and had been facing a slew of violent charges, according to the Alameda County District Attorneyโs office and the Alameda County Sherriffโs Office. Sgt. Raymond Kelly, public information officer for Alameda County Sheriffโs Office, called the incident a preventable tragedy. โItโs a disaster, itโs a disaster,โ Kelly said. โEverybody involved in the criminal justice will tell you the same thing.โ Taylorโs bail was set at $255,000 on Aug. 21, 2020. He bonded out of Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, California, on 10%, or $25,500, on Dec. 29. Originally, the charge was attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and stemmed from an incident where Taylor, brought into a police station on other charges, lunged at an officer and attempted to remove his firearm. That charge was eventually reduced to assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest, Kelly said. Taylor was wanted out of Sacramento County on a $200,000 warrant for an earlier incident that saw him accused of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and cruelty toward a child after allegedly firing into a residence. According to Kelly, it was those charges out of Sacramento that led to Taylor being brought to the police station where he lunged at an officer. On Oct. 4, Taylor died in a gunfight on an Amtrak train in downtown Tucson. DEA Special Agent Michael Garbo was killed, and another DEA agent was wounded, along with a Tucson police officer. Family of Miya Marcano files wrongful death lawsuit against Arden Villas, where she was rape-murdered by MEXICAN-named sex-fiend The family of Miya Marcano is now suing Arden Villas apartments, its parent company, and maintenance man Armando Caballero for negligence, WESH 2 News has learned. Victim Miya Marcano lived and worked at Arden Villas. A summons was filed in Orange County courts Monday night and lists the apartment complex, its parent company, and the estate of deceased maintenance worker and suspect in Marcano's killing, Armando Caballero. Investigators believe Miya Marcano was kidnapped and killed by Caballero, who used a master key fob to get into her apartment. The family says Arden Villas did not do enough to protect Miya, and they are now suing for negligence. "The only way that Armando was able to get in to Miyaโs apartment was through the unfettered access that he had that was given to him by the Arden Villas," family attorney Daryl K. Washington said. The lawsuit says the Arden Villas did not take Marcano's fears seriously and did not do a deep enough background check on Caballero. The lawsuit claims a more thorough background check would have uncovered an arrest from years before. Plus, the lawsuit states, had the Arden Villas talked with previous employers, they would have found out about the Seminole County complex where a female resident also raised concerns about him. Over 60,000 officers assaulted in 2020, with 31% sustaining injuries: FBI More than 60,000 law enforcement officers were assaulted in the line of duty in 2020, including more than 40 who were killed, according to the FBI. The total of 60,105 was an increase of 4,071 from 2019, with FBI drawing on reports from some 9,895 law enforcement agencies. Among those assaulted, about 31% sustained injuries. In 2020, 46 officers were killed, down from 48 in 2019, FBI data showed. Most of the assaults on officers happened after they responded to disturbance calls, including family quarrels and bar fights, according to the FBI. "Police officers across the country are facing an increase in violent crime and violent acts committed against them," said Laura Cooper, executive director of the Major Cities Chiefs Association. "Facing these dangerous situations is another reason why it has been difficult for police agencies to find recruits who want to put on a uniform and put their lives on the line." |

BLACK-ON-WHITE: BLACK Baltimore man convicted of murder in death of White bartender Sebastian Dvorak four years ago A Baltimore County jury convicted a Northeast Baltimore man Monday of felony murder in the killing of the popular bartender Sebastian Dvorak four years ago in Canton. Jurors deliberated Friday afternoon and Monday before also convicting Malik Mungo, 21, of robbery and gang charges. They acquitted him of armed robbery and gun charges. Baltimore County Circuit Judge Nancy Purpura is to sentence him in December. โWe are grateful that justice was served and for the efforts of the state and law enforcement; this has been a long time coming,โ parents of Sebastian Dvorak, Lisa Richard and David Dvorak, wrote in a statement. โThis for us is bittersweet. We do not get Sebastian back and the ripples of impact from that night on so many is significant.โ Under Marylandโs felony murder rule, everyone involved in a felony crime that results in a killing can be held responsible for the murder. Dvorak was a popular bartender at Ryleighโs Oyster locations. Known as โSebass,โ he graduated from Calvert Hall College High School in 2009 before attending Salisbury University and the University of Baltimore. In June 2017, he had been celebrating his 27th birthday in Canton and walking back on Boston Street when he was robbed and shot in his chest near the landmark Can Co. building. His killing launched police and federal agents on a yearlong investigation โ wiretaps, undercover drug buys โ that brought down an East Baltimore street gang led by the Bloods. The gang sold drugs including heroin, cocaine, marijuana, fentanyl and ecstasy, and based its operations in the 500 block of N. Rose St. in McElderry Park, just east of Johns Hopkins Hospital and north of Patterson Park. Mungo was tried the first time over three weeks in June 2019. He admitted to smoking pot and wandering Canton looking for unlocked cars to steal, then to ditching the murder weapon and later to lying to detectives. But Mungo insisted he didnโt pull the trigger. The jury deliberated six days but could not agree on the eight most serious charges โ murder, robbery, gang participation. Some gang members lived in the county and kept drugs there. Marylandโs gang statute allows prosecutors to charge all crimes committed by a gang in the jurisdiction of any one crime. So the attorney generalโs office chose to prosecutor Mungo in Baltimore County Circuit Court. Dvorakโs family and friends formed the nonprofit Sebass Foundation โ a reference to the bartenderโs nickname โ to provide Baltimore youth with new experiences such as camp in Maine and snowboarding lessons. Dvorakโs parents have said they want to help Baltimore youth see a promising future and stay away from guns. A fundraiser online collected more than $27,000 in donations. (Black) Man shoots at ex-girlfriend's car to stop her from hitting him, kills (white female) passenger OCALA, Fla. โ Deputies in Marion County released new details into the death of a 23-year-old woman in Ocala. Authorities said they responded to the 2600 block of Southeast 56th Street for a shooting on Sunday around 3:40 a.m. Detectives said they learned during their investigation 22-year-old Alexa Newtown drove to her (black) ex-boyfriend Timothy Mackโs home. Sonja Stahl was in the passenger seat, according to authorities. Officials said witnesses told them Newtown got out of her car and broke a window at Mackโs home, apparently trying to get inside. Mack allegedly told authorities he was able to stop his ex-girlfriend from getting inside and asked her to leave his property multiple times. Mack said when he left his home, Newtown got into her car once more and drove at him. According to authorities, Mack said he fired his gun at the car, hoping to hit the engine block to stop it from hitting him. Officials say a round struck Stahl, killing her. An investigation into her death will continue as authorities wait for results of forensic evidence. Detectives will review the case with the State Attorneyโs Office regarding homicide-related charges after the investigation is complete. (Black) N.C. Man Charged with Murdering His Ex-Girlfriend Already Did Time for Killing an Ex: Report Charles Combs (image via Horry County Sheriffโs Office), LaPorscha Baldwin (via GoFundMe) A North Carolina man who had spent 12 years in prison for murdering his then-girlfriend in 2004 is now facing murder charges in the death of another womanโhis ex-girlfriend. The body of LaPorscha Chantel Baldwin, of Gastonia, North Carolina, was found in South Carolina on Thursday, according to authorities. Charles Combs, Baldwinโs ex-boyfriend, is accused of killing her. Baldwin, 30, was last seen by family members on Oct. 10, the City of Gastonia website said in a press release. โThey met at the parking lot of First Antioch Interdenominational Church,โ local ABC affiliate WSOC reported. โLaPorscha Baldwin kissed her 18-month-old daughter and said โI love you,โโ Baldwinโs mother Marilyn Baldwin said. Her mother said LaPorscha was headed work and never returned. She also never called to check on her daughter, which Marilyn said was unusual. โHer daughter is her heart,โ Marilyn said, according to WSOC. โShe would never leave her daughter.โ LaPorsha, who worked at Amazon, didnโt show up for work that day, local NBC affiliate WCNC reported. Baldwinโs car was found the next day, on Oct. 11. โ[W]hen Baldwinโs car was found, the tires were slashed, and possible blood was found on the steering wheel, dashboard, and cup holder,โ WCNC reported. โInvestigators found womenโs clothing and duct tape inside as well.โ โPolice found Baldwinโs phone and discovered that after she left the church, she had a conversation with Combs,โ according to WSOC. Combs, 35, is now charged with first-degree murder, according to Mecklenburg County Sheriffโs Office records. โBaldwin had broken up with Combs about three weeks prior, police said,โ WSOC reported. โAccording to court records, Combs was distraught and on the day Baldwin vanished, he told a friend about her and said he would kill himself if he could not be with her. According to WSOC, Combs has previously been convicted of murder in the death of another girlfriend. The details are disturbingly similar. โChannel 9 learned that Combs was convicted of second-degree murder in Charlotte in 2007,โ the WSOC report said. โHe spent 12 years in prison for the 2004 death of his girlfriend at the time, Marsheida Dorsey. According to court records, Combs told Dorsey the only way out of the relationship โwas through death.โโ In 2020, Combs was arrested and released for driving without a license, Mecklenberg County Sheriffโs Office records show. Baldwinโs death has left โan irreversible pain,โ according to a GoFundMe page that was launched in an effort to support Baldwinโs family. โShe was a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a niece, a grandchild, a friend to everyone she met,โ the website said. โShe had an infectious smile, and knew how to light up a room with her presence. She was funny, she loved life, and wanted to help those around her.โ Baldwinโs 18-month-old daughter โnow has to grow up without a mother because of a selfish act,โ the page also said. Homicide detectives from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department, along with state law enforcement in South Carolina and the FBI, worked together to locate Baldwin and arrest Combs. Authorities say Combs will be extradited to Mecklenburg County. As of Monday morning, Combs was still in custody in Horry County, South Carolina, records show. (Black) N.C.
