Man involved in MURDER of 12-year-old
WHITE FEMALE Autumn Pasquale
gets 35 years for home invasion A Clayton man best known for admitting to obstruction in the shocking death of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale in 2012 is now headed to prison for decades for an unrelated home invasion in which he himself was shot. Dante Robinson, 25, was sentenced Thursday to 35 1/2 years in prison with 27 years of parole ineligibility for the armed home invasion in May of 2017 in Sicklerville, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement. The office said Robinson, who was convicted at trial a year ago, broke into the home with four other accomplices armed with an imitation assault rifle, demanding guns and cash of the home’s occupants, including an elderly male, a child and two women. Robinson was shot in the back during the incident and arrested the next day, the office said. Robinson was 17 and his younger brother just 15 when they were charged with murder in 2012 after the body of Autumn Pasquale was found in a blue recycling bin near the Robinsons' property. The Clayton girl had been reported missing two days earlier. His brother, Justin Robinson, pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter, saying he alone lured Autumn to his house and strangled her. He was sentenced to 17 years in state prison. He later told NJ Advance Media he killed the girl after they argued about payment for repairs to her bicycle. - (Black-on-White) |

Bryan Cordero-Castro, 21, must serve 85% of the term imposed by Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Marc C. Lemieux, who sentenced him to 30 years for aggravated manslaughter and five years for escape. Cordero-Castro pleaded guilty last November to killing Madison Wells outside her relative’s Long Branch home Sept. 8, 2018. The two dated since November 2017 before she ended their relationship, and Cordero-Castro began stalking the teen. In the nine hours before her slaying, Cordero-Castro texted and called the teenager more than 230 times and went looking for her at her family member’s home, according to a joint investigation by the county prosecutor’s office and Long Branch police. Cordero-Castro ultimately returned to the residence, where Wells agreed to meet him outside, investigators said. Minutes later, he stabbed her in the chest. The teen stumbled back into the house and collapsed. She died later that night at an area hospital. |

woman Fire Chief Charles Hood on Friday defended his posing for a photo while eating sushi displayed on a mostly nude woman at a firefighter’s birthday party this year, calling it “more or less a family event.” “You walk in the front door and there’s a sushi lady there that I guess is a business, so I stopped and posed and take a picture. That’s it,” Hood said. “It would be like me taking a picture with a flamenco dancer in Vegas or a Spurs dancer at Top Golf where the Spurs dancers happen to be there.” At the same time, Hood apologized to anyone who was offended by the photo taken in January at firefighter Shody Henshaw’s home near Canyon Lake. He said he attended Henshaw’s birthday party to support the firefighter in his years-long battle with colon cancer. |

assassin Weeks before his controversial release from prison, a Black Revolutionary Army member who gunned down two NYPD cops nearly 50 years ago admitted “it could have been any officers” at his parole hearing. “I’d never been here [NYC] before,” Anthony Bottom said during his hearing on Sept. 11. “[Redacted] guided us to the [redacted] we saw a cruiser, a car, a police car, and we had laid and waited for the police officers to return and we ambushed them.” “Cold-blooded murder, that’s what it was,” said Bottom, according to the transcript obtained by The Post through a Freedom of Information request. Bottom was set free on Oct. 20 after spending more than 43 years in prison for the murder of Officers Joseph Piagentini and Waverly Jones in 1971. Piagentini’s widow was infuriated by the board’s ruling last month, saying she was “heartbroken to see another of Joe’s killers set free by politics.” When Botton was up for parole in 2018, she petitioned to keep him locked up for life. - (Black-on-White) Bottom was one of three triggermen — along with Herman Bell and Albert Washington — who called police to a Harlem housing project and ambushed the two cops. |

Charles Ugvine Coleman, 65, was charged with murder and rape in the death of Elizabeth Ann Howell Wilson, of Chester, agents said. Wilson, who was 45 at the time, was reported missing March 20, 1976, during her shift while working as a spinner at the Eureka Plant of Spring Mills in Chester. Crosby said her body and stolen vehicle was later found in Fairfield County near the intersection of Ashford Ferry Road and Dave Jenkins Road, in Blair. Wilson had been sexually assaulted, strangled and beaten, Crosby said. SLED agents worked with the Chester County Sheriff’s Office and the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office for years in hopes of solving the case, Crosby said. young girl - gets 'life' The man who admitted to killing a University of Utah student whose burned and bound body was found in a northern Utah canyon last year will spend the rest of his life in prison. Ayoola Ajayi, 32, pleaded guilty earlier this month to killing MacKenzie Lueck. The sentence, handed down Friday by 3rd District Judge Vernice Trease, was agreed upon as part of a plea deal, in which Ajayi pleaded guilty to aggravated murder and desecration of a human body. Lueck’s family on Friday tearfully remembered the 23-year-old as kind and loving — a “true spitfire,” her mother, Diana Lueck said. The woman’s death has left a hole in their family, Lueck’s parents said. They’ll never get to see their only daughter married, or be able to hold her children. She was about to graduate from the U., they said, and had her whole life ahead of her. Lueck’s father, Gregory Lueck, was more angry. He told his daughter’s killer that he hoped he spends the rest of his life in isolation and said he looked forward to the call from Utah officials informing him that Ajayi had died. “I can only hope that it will be a slow, painful death,” the father said. |

Police make arrest in Mackenzie Lueck disappearance, contractor says suspect wanted secret room SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Police announced on Friday that they have taken a person into custody in connection with the disappearance of Mackenzie Lueck, a University of Utah student missing for nearly two weeks. Brian Wolf, a local contractor in Utah, told Fox News on Friday that the person of interest that police had identified in the search for Lueck, 23, asked him to build a secret, soundproofed room with hooks on its walls in the basement of his home. Was this going to be some sort of secret sadist chamber of horrors - bodies hanging from hooks? Defense attorney Neal Hamilton said Ajayi and Lueck met on Seeking Arrangement, a dating website where wealthier men pay for dates - and sometimes sexual intimacy — with women. Police had not previously specified how Ajayi and Lueck met, although court documents showed they both had accounts on the site. |

The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office said Stubblefield was sentenced by Judge Arthur Bocanegra to serve a minimum of 15 years behind bars. Before the sentencing, Bocanegra rejected a defense motion for a new trial, the DA’s office said. “No meant nothing to this defendant,” said Deputy District Attorney Tim McInerny in a prepared statement. “Based on his status, I think he was never held accountable for prior criminal behavior. Today, he was properly held accountable.” McInerny added that the victim “testified with bravery, poise, and grace and allowed the jury to get a true picture of the man.” |

Young Brothers In Trenton TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) — A man and woman have been arrested and charged in the deadly shootings of two brothers in Trenton. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office says 26-year-old Dajuan Kelley, of Ewing, and 29-year-old Destanie Ellis, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of 8-year-old Johnny Perez and his older brother, 16-year-old Gustavo Perez. Ellis was arrested Thursday night in Trenton, while Kelley was arrested Friday in Hampton, Georgia, by the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force. According to prosecutors, Ellis and Kelly were sitting in a Ford Expedition on New York Avenue when Gustavo and his older brother walked past the vehicle and attempted to get into the car. A verbal altercation then ensued between the Perez brothers and Kelley and Ellis. |

Avita Campbell, 38, and her son Raymond Jackson, 22, who is still at large, face murder and other charges for the Sept. 23 killing of Lasaaun Lawrence in Far Rockaway, according to the Queens District Attorney’s Office. The duo was captured on surveillance video pulling up to Beach 31st St., exiting a white BMW and approaching Lawrence who was in a double-parked car, officials said. Jackson squeezed off more than a dozen rounds in Lawrence’s direction while his mom, carrying a metal pipe, smashed it against the car’s windshield, shattering the glass, according to prosecutors. The pair fled the scene but the following month Campbell was pulled over in the same white BMW during a traffic stop, and police allegedly found the gun used in the shooting. |

Cardinal Raymond Burke, a frequent critic of Francis, said the pope’s comments should be “rightly interpreted as simple private opinions of the person who made them.” “Such declarations generate great bewilderment and cause confusion and error among Catholic faithful,” Burke, a member of the Vatican’s highest court, said in a statement Thursday on his website. deputy dies after crash during
I-85 traffic stop, sheriff says GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WYFF/WCSC) - The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office confirmed one of its deputies died after a crash that took place Tuesday during a traffic stop. “With a broken heart, that we confirm tonight that a deputy with our agency identifies as Master Deputy Conley Jumper has passed away as a result of an incident that occurred on 85 earlier this afternoon,” Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis said at a Tuesday night news conference. The three-vehicle crash sent Jumper and two other deputies along with at least two others to the hospital. The other deputies are expected to recover, Lewis said. Lewis said that just before 3 p.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the northbound lanes of I-85 near White Horse Road. At some point, at least one person inside that vehicle got into a fight with the deputies. “During that struggle, which was centered in and around the suspect’s vehicle, we have learned that the vehicle proceeded to accelerate ultimately colliding with a tractor trailer on the interstate,” Lewis said. “The exact sequence of events is still unclear, but we do know that another deputy’s patrol car also collided with the suspect vehicle around that time.” - (Black-on-White) |

Driver tells of kidnapping where
black man forced her to go to
ATM ATLANTA — Atlanta Police and Sandy Springs Police confirmed to 11Alive News on Tuesday that they believe the same man, who has already kidnapped two drivers in Atlanta and forced them to withdraw money from ATMs, is probably the same man who later attacked a third driver, this time in Sandy Springs. On Thursday, Atlanta Police released an artist's sketch of the suspect they said they believe is responsible for the robbery and kidnapping. One of the drivers, named Robin, told 11Alive Tuesday that the man threatened to kill her, then claimed he had lost his job and needed money to feed his 6-year-old son. She is still terrified. “It was horrendous,” Robin said of the attack. On Sept. 25, Robin had just left a hair appointment, at a salon near Piedmont Road and Sidney Marcus Boulevard, NE, and she walked to her car in the parking lot. And as soon as she opened her car door, a man jumped in the passenger side. She tried to get out. “He leaned over and grabbed me--yanked me--back in the car, and said, ‘Drive, or I’ll blow your effing head off.’” The man forced Robin to drive to an ATM, and withdraw cash. Two days later, police said, the same man is the one who attacked a woman at a QT gas station nearby, at Sidney Marcus Blvd. and Adina Dr., and forced her to drive to an ATM to withdraw cash for him. And now police believe it was the same man who, on Oct. 9, attacked a third driver, at the Summit Condos on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, inside the Perimeter—again, forcing the driver to take him to an ATM for cash. - (Black-on-White) |

Portland, Maine slaying of a
White man Portland, (Maine) — police would not say Wednesday how they connected a former South Portland man to a 2016 homicide or what new information led detectives to pursue an indictment this year, more than four years after the killing. Aristotle Stilley, 23, is being held at a Sacramento, California, jail until his first scheduled court appearance Thursday in Sacramento Superior Court, where he faces extradition to Maine. But there has been no public release of information describing the probable cause supporting the murder warrant or any description of how police linked Stilley to the crime and secured the August grand jury indictment. The indictment has been sealed. Portland police spokesman Lt. Robert Martin said detectives in Maine had been working with police in Sacramento to find Stilley since his indictment in August. But a Sacramento police spokesman said it was a random, run-of-the-mill traffic stop that led California officers to discover the Maine arrest warrant. Stilley is charged with the murder of David Anderson, 36, who was shot inside a third-floor apartment on Gilman Street on March 15, 2016. Anderson was one of four guests at the apartment, in addition to the full-time resident. - (Black-on-White) |

The theft happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, when the 33-year-old left his car running to talk to his co-worker at 98th Street and Jamaica Avenue, according to police and the victim. “As I’m having that discussion with him, out of my periphery… I see my car… reversing and I realized someone was stealing my car,” the 33-year-old told The Post. The man followed his car to 102nd Street, where the duo pulled over and was rummaging through his stuff, he said. The victim opened a car door, and one of the thieves reversed the car — slamming into another vehicle and sending the victim flying, he said. “They crashed my car with me in it just trying to get the keys out,” the bloodied victim said, stanching a gash on his head with a towel. He tried again to snatch the keys back but the thieves started attacking him. - (Black-on-White) |

Jefferson, who was in a relationship with the victim’s parent, lived with the parent, the 3-year-old and his 6-year-old brother, who had also been physically abused, the report stated. Police said the women pocketed $85,000 from 10 unsuspecting men in Chicago. CBS 2’s Chris Tye reports police said they were caught as their last victim was still incoherent. Authorities said they planned to meet their men in River North. Their car had vials of alcohol that would black them out. The suspects had guns with a laser sight on them and a vision to get rich quick. Since the beginning of the year, Tiana Trammel and Tjwana Rainey were drawing in victims to a scheme prosecutors said landed them more than $85,000 in other people’s money. The most recent case on Saturday night. Investigators said they arranged to meet a man from a dating app at a River North bar. The man didn’t know the vile of alcohol they plied him with would lead to an instant black out. What the Milwaukee duo didn’t know was that a tracker had been placed on their Nissan. In this case, their getaway back to Wisconsin would stall when their car didn’t start and their arrest came minutes later. |

Officers responded to most of Johnson’s remarks by insisting they did not want to harm him and by repeatedly asking him to put down a broken bottle. (Black) Semi-Truck Driver Who Led Officers On I-5 Chase Crashes, Tries To Carjack Other Drivers SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) — Authorities say a man suspected of recklessly driving a tractor-trailer, leading officers on a chase, then crashing on Interstate 5 has been arrested. California Highway Patrol says the chase started around noon near Stockton but was called off once it reached the Los Banos area. A CHP aircraft then started tracking the tractor-trailer, which was still driving recklessly. The tractor-trailer then overturned along southbound I-5 near Derrick Avenue after crashing into at least three other smaller vehicles. Officers say the tractor-trailer driver then got out of his wreck and – as traffic started to back up due to the crash – he allegedly tried to carjack other people. CHP officers soon converged on the scene, however, and the driver was arrested after a short struggle. All the other people involved in the crash suffered minor injuries, CHP says. The tractor-trailer driver has been identified as 26-year-old Alabama resident Derris Marquis Kennedy. He was booked into Fresno County Jail after being medically cleared. |

Nguyen, who was 25 at the time, and Thieu, 20, had a simmering dispute and had fought twice before, authorities said years ago. A Maryland man is accused of firing a shotgun at a truck with two Trump supporters after they honked as he was putting up a sign in his yard, police said. No one was hurt in the incident, which happened around 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Kingsville, a community of around 4,400 northeast of Baltimore, Baltimore County police said in a statement. Douglas Kuhn, 50, was arrested on two counts of first-degree assault and other charges, police said. Police said that Kuhn was putting up a political sign on his property and that the men had a political sign in the back of the truck. They did not provide additional details about the signs. The people in the truck told NBC affiliate WBAL of Baltimore that they are Trump supporters and were giving a friendly honk to Kuhn while he put up a Black Lives Matter sign. The victim "honked his horn several times" at Kuhn, and he "picked up a shotgun and discharged it as they drove by," causing no injuries or damage to the vehicle, police said. Bradley Lang, who was in the truck with his father, told the station that the honk was intended as a neighborly gesture. "It's Kingsville, it's a friendly area. You know, everyone honks at each other," he said. He told the station they were around 100 to 200 feet away when Kuhn fired. |

black OBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) — Twenty-seven-year-old Michael Sale with Rowland Police Department had to be airlifted to UNC Medical Center just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning after he was beaten while trying to arrest a man on Benton Court, according to Rowland Police Chief Hubert B. Graham. Graham said the officer responded to a disturbance call in the area. He added they've charged Jamel Alphonso Rogers with assault with a deadly weapon with intentions to kill while inflicting serious injuries, kidnapping and two counts of resisting a public officer. A bystander recorded the officer's struggle with the man on a cell phone and went live on Facebook. It's gained dozens of shares. The video shows the fight lasted for nearly 11 minutes. During the incident, Sale asked a man to help, but the man refused to offer him any assistance. Several people come outside and some urge others to help. The video shows one man pulls the man away from the officer but lets him go. The man then goes back to attack the officer and repeatedly punches him in the face. The video shows Sale's face pretty bloody before EMS arrived. Officer Sale may have a broken bone around his eye and that's why he was airlifted to the hospital, according to Graham. Sale's gun and some equipment got lost in the fight, Graham said, but has been recovered. Graham said seeing the video really upsets him, but it shows the harsh reality of what police can encounter during calls. This is the second time Sale has been attacked on a call. - (Black-on-White) |

charged with sexually assaulting
7-year-old girl as classmates,
teacher watched in horror CHICAGO - Cook County prosecutors say a South Side man sexually assaulted his 7-year-old cousin in a disturbing attack that was witnessed by the girl’s teacher and classmates during an e-learning session earlier this week. A judge denied bail Saturday for 18-year-old Catrell Walls, who faces a felony charge of predatory criminal sexual assault following the encounter that was allegedly caught on video from a West Chesterfield neighborhood home during a break in the girl’s online class Thursday afternoon. The microphone was muted on the girl’s computer but the camera was on as a handful of other students were logged in to the Google Meets session. When the teacher opened the screen back into her online class, she saw the 7-year-old girl with her pants pulled down and Walls forcing her to perform oral sex, prosecutors said. The girl, who is Walls’ cousin, had been staying at their grandmother’s home during the school day. When the principal spoke with her away from the family, the girl allegedly described a sexual assault and said it had happened before, prosecutors said. The girl was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital for examination. Walls was arrested and the next day, during an interview with detectives, allegedly admitted to what the teacher and students had seen on video, as well as other assaults of the girl since she turned 6. The 18-year-old had been out of jail on bond following a previous felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, prosecutors said. Walls is a senior in high school and has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which impairs his ability to control his impulses, his defense attorney said. “This ongoing history of assault, for approximately a year, according to the victim, leads me to believe this is not something that will just stop because I have ordered it to,” Judge Charles Beach said. “This history and his actions from this case lead me to believe that he is a threat to an individual and the community as a whole.” |

Officers entered the home and found Cotton dead. He had been shot in the back. |

chooses first woman, openly gay
acting mayor Austin Quinn-Davidson, 40, will be the first woman and openly gay person to serve as mayor or acting mayor of Anchorage, the Anchorage Daily News reported. The Anchorage Assembly voted Friday to appoint Quinn-Davidson, an attorney, to the role. During a special meeting on Friday, Felix Rivera — who as the chair of the Assembly was himself poised to be the city’s first openly gay mayor, as well as its youngest and first Latino mayor — said he recommended Quinn-Davidson for the job. Addressing community members who may have been disappointed that the city will not have its first person of color serve as mayor, Rivera said: "Don't you worry. It will happen sooner or later. If I were a betting person, I'd bet on sooner." |

gas station attendant refused to

protest fires, lawsuit claims A Portland man has filed a $350,000 racial discrimination lawsuit against a local gas station after claiming that an attendant refused to sell him gas over the summer because of his race. Dominique DeWeese, who is black, said in the lawsuit filed last week that he went to Jay’s Garage in July to fill up a gas canister for his lawnmower. In a video obtained by FOX12 Oregon, DeWeese is heard asking the attendant why he won’t sell him gas. The attendant, who is White, responded in the video: "There’s dumpster fires, they get a can of gasoline and they start the fire." The attendant said he’d only sell DeWeese gasoline if it went directly into his car or lawnmower. The owner of Jay’s Garage told FOX12 that he fired the attendant the same night of the incident and apologized to DeWeese. |

Fe obelisk toppled during
Indigenous Peoples' Day protest
- October
13, 2020, The monument was erected in 1868, 43 years before New Mexico became a state, to honor Civil War Union soldiers. It has become a target of protesters for a plaque at its base that says the obelisk is dedicated to "the heroes" who fought "savage Indians." Mayor Webber has supported removing the obelisk, and a state-contracted crew attempted to do so over the summer, but it was too heavy for the crews, according to officials. The mayor nevertheless condemned Monday's vandalism. "The violence and damage to a historical monument in the middle of our plaza will not help our community come together when we most need to do so," he said in a video message Monday. |

Suspect wanted in the fatal
shooting of 7-Eleven clerk in
Waldorf WALDORF, Md. — The Charles County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted in the murder of a 7-Eleven clerk in Waldorf earlier this month. Gregory DeShawn Collins, Jr., 22, of Waldorf, was identified as a suspect in the murder of 49-year-old Lynn Marie Maher. Detectives have identified Gregory DeShawn Collins, Jr. as a suspect in the Middletown Road 7-Eleven homicide which occurred on October 1. A cash reward of up to $42,500 is being offered for his arrest and indictment. For details, visit Charles County Sheriff's Office. The shooting happened around 1 a.m. on Oct. 1 at the 7-Eleven on Middletown Road in Waldorf. Charles County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Diane Richardson said the shooting happened within seconds of Collins entering the store and demanding money. "He approached her, he produced a gun, it looked like she was complying and he shot her at that time," Richardson said. Several customers were inside the store when the shooting happened, according to Richardson. Maher was a mother of three, and stepmother to a fourth, who was regarded as a friendly fixture that made the convenience store a community gathering place, according to her family. Her husband, Travis Maher, talked about his wife's tragic death Friday with WUSA9. “I just thought we'd be growing old together here in White Plains," Travis Maher said. “The hardest part lately has been just being alone, and being where I always thought she'd be coming home but she never wound up coming home that morning.” Travis Maher said he and Lynn had been married for eleven years, and had four boys between the two of them. He said he heard about Friday's update in the case from his brother, Chris Maher, who is in law enforcement, but said he wouldn't feel any closure until he has answers. “I just want to know why," Travis Maher said. "Why, when my wife was willing to give you everything and put her hands up and just say you got it, you got everything, and then still to take her life. A mother, a wife, a daughter, sister. It's just, just wanting to know why, that's the biggest thing." - (Black-on-White) |

Louisiana man charged with
shooting and killing toddler
during violent rampage Louisiana police have accused a man of killing a 2-year-old boy—the son of a police officer—when they say he sprayed a house with gunfire during a violent rampage. Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul called Azariah Thomas a “beautiful soul” who didn’t deserve to die. The boy's father Vince Hutchinson serves as a police officer with the New Roads Police Department outside of Baton Rouge. “When we’re out there trying to find comforting words, it’s hard,” Chief Paul told reporters. Kendrick Myles, 41, was charged with killing the boy after his arrest Friday morning after an hours-long standoff with police, according to the station. Police would only say that Myles had a beef with the people who lived in the house where Azariah was shot, the Baton Rouge Advocate reported. Police said the house was one of the stops Myles made during a rampage that began Thursday night and reportedly included kidnapping a 9-year-old nephew, shooting a male relative in the hand and shooting it out with another relative who showed up to rescue the nephew. In 2004, Myles went to jail for trying to kill 11 people in a dispute with a girlfriend, WAFB reported. He was also being sought for torching an ex's house in July. “We've dealt with him before," Paul said, according to WBRZ-TV. "The same individuals. That is what I hear from my officers. We arrest them and have to deal with them again... Shooting and murders, what's right about that?" The chief said he was considering asking the feds take over the cases of "these repeat offenders," presumably because sentences in federal court are tougher. "We are tired of seeing the same individuals. This is what I hear from our officers," Paul said. |

Child Molester Deandre Austin
Killed In Prison; Cellmate Held
For Homicide IONE, Amador County (CBS SF) — A Richmond man serving a life sentence at an Amador County prison for child rape and sex abuse was found dead in his cell and his cellmate was being held in his killing. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) said officers found 46-year-old Deandre Austin unresponsive in his cell at Mule Creek State Prison Wednesday evening after responding to a call of a “man down.” He was later pronounced dead despite life-saving measures by emergency personnel, CDCR said. Austin’s cellmate, identified as Rodney Jordan, was placed in segregated housing pending an investigation. Austin was sentenced in 2008 to a life sentence with the possibility of parole for the continuous sexual assault of his three elementary school-aged nieces when they shared homes in Richmond between 2002 and 2006. He was convicted of rape, lewd and lascivious conduct with a child under age 14, continuous sex abuse of a child under 14, penetration with a foreign object with a victim under 14, oral copulation and sodomy. Jordan was serving a two-year term for a first-degree burglary conviction from Los Angeles County. He was paroled on July of 2018 and returned from parole two months later after a new conviction, sentenced to five years for second-degree robbery. |

Man charged after police say
3-year-old girl accidentally
shot & killed her father A 3-year-old girl in Tennessee accidentally shot and killed her father after cops say she picked up a gun belonging to a man now facing charges in connection with the death. It happened Wednesday night in Memphis. The girl was playing with the gun in the back seat of a car when it discharged, police said. The bullet struck her father Jerome Smith in the head, according to local media. Police found his body in the driver’s seat. They said the girl got the gun from Allante Jones, 26, who was charged with reckless homicide and unlawful possession of a weapon. An affidavit obtained by Fox 13 Memphis said that Smith and a woman were giving Jones a ride home and that when they picked him up he got in next to the girl in the backseat with the gun. The affidavit says that after agreeing to be interviewed Jones told officers what happened. “Jones stated that he laid the handgun down and the child picked it up the gun and began playing with it,” the affidavit said. Then it went off. |

year, citing workload and racism The dean of City College’s architecture school has thrown in the towel after less than a year on the job, citing a “crippling workload” and racism. Lesley 'Loco' Lokko, an architect who is also a best-selling author of (promiscuous) erotic “bonkbuster” fiction, took the helm of the college’s Spitzer School of Architecture in December 2019. Lokko, who is of Scottish and Ghanaian descent, said in the statement that race also played a role. She was previously the director of the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of Johannesburg, which she founded in 2015. “Race is never far from the surface of any situation in the U.S. Having come directly from South Africa, I wasn’t prepared for the way it manifests in the U.S. and quite simply, I lacked the tools to both process and deflect it. The lack of respect and empathy for Black people, especially Black women, caught me off guard, although it’s by no means unique to Spitzer,” she said. |

Hizzoner’s effort to use millions in tax payer money to make McCray a political star came crashing down this week when the city’s First Lady changed course and declared she would not run for Brooklyn Borough President. Throughout his time in office de Blasio set McCray up to follow in the family’s politics biz, including giving her a staff that in recent years grew to a size larger than any First Lady’s in recent memory. The McCray team had a $2 million payroll, and as recently as August included a chief-of-staff, senior adviser, speechwriter and a videographer. |

INTOLERANT ANTI-AMERICAN
ANTI-FREE SPEECH MOB RESORTS TO
VIOLENCE AS MINDLESS DEMONS DO SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A free speech demonstration staged by conservative activists quickly fell apart in downtown San Francisco on Saturday after several hundred counterprotesters surged the area, outnumbering and attacking those gathered, including knocking one in the mouth. A photographer working for The Associated Press witnessed a Trump supporter being taken away in an ambulance and an injured San Francisco police officer on the ground by San Francisco’s United Nations Plaza. Team Save America organized the rally to protest Twitter, which it said squelches conservative speech. Members of the group wore red “Make America Great Again” Trump campaign hats and carried pro-police “Thin Blue Line” flags and U.S. flags. Philip Anderson, the organizer of the event, posted photos to social media of his bloody mouth with a front tooth missing and another hanging loosely. He said anti-fascist protesters attacked him “for no reason.” Anderson took the stage at about 1 p.m. and was greeted by chants and plastic water bottles and glass bottles thrown over police barricades. The event was canceled, although both sides lingered in the area into the afternoon. The San Francisco Police Department said three officers suffered non life-threatening injuries when they were assaulted with pepper spray and caustic chemicals. One officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the department said. No arrests were made, the department said. Anderson called the counterprotesters hypocrites and said they are the reason why he’s voting for President Donald Trump. “I love America, I love this country and I love free speech,” he said. |

shooting knife-wielding man, DA
says The police officer who fatally shot a knife-wielding man in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, last month was justified in opening fire and will not face criminal charges, Lancaster District Attorney Heather Adams said on Wednesday. The investigation dates to September 13 when an officer shot Ricardo Munoz, 27, after a report of a domestic disturbance. The shooting was declared a homicide and sparked protests a day later in which eight people were arrested. In a press conference Wednesday, Adams said the officer was being chased by Munoz, who was armed with a knife. The officer "ran for his life," she said, before turning and firing at him. "There was no time or opportunity for de-escalation," she said. |
