Co. officer airlifted to hospital
after being beaten by black OBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) — Twenty-seven-year-old Michael Sale with Rowland Police Department had to be airlifted to UNC Medical Center just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning after he was beaten while trying to arrest a man on Benton Court, according to Rowland Police Chief Hubert B. Graham. Graham said the officer responded to a disturbance call in the area. He added they've charged Jamel Alphonso Rogers with assault with a deadly weapon with intentions to kill while inflicting serious injuries, kidnapping and two counts of resisting a public officer. A bystander recorded the officer's struggle with the man on a cell phone and went live on Facebook. It's gained dozens of shares. The video shows the fight lasted for nearly 11 minutes. During the incident, Sale asked a man to help, but the man refused to offer him any assistance. Several people come outside and some urge others to help. The video shows one man pulls the man away from the officer but lets him go. The man then goes back to attack the officer and repeatedly punches him in the face. The video shows Sale's face pretty bloody before EMS arrived. Officer Sale may have a broken bone around his eye and that's why he was airlifted to the hospital, according to Graham. Sale's gun and some equipment got lost in the fight, Graham said, but has been recovered. Graham said seeing the video really upsets him, but it shows the harsh reality of what police can encounter during calls. This is the second time Sale has been attacked on a call. - (Black-on-White) |

charged with sexually assaulting
7-year-old girl as classmates,
teacher watched in horror CHICAGO - Cook County prosecutors say a South Side man sexually assaulted his 7-year-old cousin in a disturbing attack that was witnessed by the girl’s teacher and classmates during an e-learning session earlier this week. A judge denied bail Saturday for 18-year-old Catrell Walls, who faces a felony charge of predatory criminal sexual assault following the encounter that was allegedly caught on video from a West Chesterfield neighborhood home during a break in the girl’s online class Thursday afternoon. The microphone was muted on the girl’s computer but the camera was on as a handful of other students were logged in to the Google Meets session. When the teacher opened the screen back into her online class, she saw the 7-year-old girl with her pants pulled down and Walls forcing her to perform oral sex, prosecutors said. The girl, who is Walls’ cousin, had been staying at their grandmother’s home during the school day. When the principal spoke with her away from the family, the girl allegedly described a sexual assault and said it had happened before, prosecutors said. The girl was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital for examination. Walls was arrested and the next day, during an interview with detectives, allegedly admitted to what the teacher and students had seen on video, as well as other assaults of the girl since she turned 6. The 18-year-old had been out of jail on bond following a previous felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, prosecutors said. Walls is a senior in high school and has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which impairs his ability to control his impulses, his defense attorney said. “This ongoing history of assault, for approximately a year, according to the victim, leads me to believe this is not something that will just stop because I have ordered it to,” Judge Charles Beach said. “This history and his actions from this case lead me to believe that he is a threat to an individual and the community as a whole.” |

Fe obelisk toppled during Indigenous
Peoples' Day protest - October
13, 2020, The monument was erected in 1868, 43 years before New Mexico became a state, to honor Civil War Union soldiers. It has become a target of protesters for a plaque at its base that says the obelisk is dedicated to "the heroes" who fought "savage Indians." Mayor Webber has supported removing the obelisk, and a state-contracted crew attempted to do so over the summer, but it was too heavy for the crews, according to officials. The mayor nevertheless condemned Monday's vandalism. "The violence and damage to a historical monument in the middle of our plaza will not help our community come together when we most need to do so," he said in a video message Monday. |

Suspect wanted in the fatal
shooting of 7-Eleven clerk in
Waldorf WALDORF, Md. — The Charles County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted in the murder of a 7-Eleven clerk in Waldorf earlier this month. Gregory DeShawn Collins, Jr., 22, of Waldorf, was identified as a suspect in the murder of 49-year-old Lynn Marie Maher. Detectives have identified Gregory DeShawn Collins, Jr. as a suspect in the Middletown Road 7-Eleven homicide which occurred on October 1. A cash reward of up to $42,500 is being offered for his arrest and indictment. For details, visit Charles County Sheriff's Office. The shooting happened around 1 a.m. on Oct. 1 at the 7-Eleven on Middletown Road in Waldorf. Charles County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Diane Richardson said the shooting happened within seconds of Collins entering the store and demanding money. "He approached her, he produced a gun, it looked like she was complying and he shot her at that time," Richardson said. Several customers were inside the store when the shooting happened, according to Richardson. Maher was a mother of three, and stepmother to a fourth, who was regarded as a friendly fixture that made the convenience store a community gathering place, according to her family. Her husband, Travis Maher, talked about his wife's tragic death Friday with WUSA9. “I just thought we'd be growing old together here in White Plains," Travis Maher said. “The hardest part lately has been just being alone, and being where I always thought she'd be coming home but she never wound up coming home that morning.” Travis Maher said he and Lynn had been married for eleven years, and had four boys between the two of them. He said he heard about Friday's update in the case from his brother, Chris Maher, who is in law enforcement, but said he wouldn't feel any closure until he has answers. “I just want to know why," Travis Maher said. "Why, when my wife was willing to give you everything and put her hands up and just say you got it, you got everything, and then still to take her life. A mother, a wife, a daughter, sister. It's just, just wanting to know why, that's the biggest thing." - (Black-on-White) |

Louisiana man charged with
shooting and killing toddler
during violent rampage Louisiana police have accused a man of killing a 2-year-old boy—the son of a police officer—when they say he sprayed a house with gunfire during a violent rampage. Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul called Azariah Thomas a “beautiful soul” who didn’t deserve to die. The boy's father Vince Hutchinson serves as a police officer with the New Roads Police Department outside of Baton Rouge. “When we’re out there trying to find comforting words, it’s hard,” Chief Paul told reporters. Kendrick Myles, 41, was charged with killing the boy after his arrest Friday morning after an hours-long standoff with police, according to the station. Police would only say that Myles had a beef with the people who lived in the house where Azariah was shot, the Baton Rouge Advocate reported. Police said the house was one of the stops Myles made during a rampage that began Thursday night and reportedly included kidnapping a 9-year-old nephew, shooting a male relative in the hand and shooting it out with another relative who showed up to rescue the nephew. In 2004, Myles went to jail for trying to kill 11 people in a dispute with a girlfriend, WAFB reported. He was also being sought for torching an ex's house in July. “We've dealt with him before," Paul said, according to WBRZ-TV. "The same individuals. That is what I hear from my officers. We arrest them and have to deal with them again... Shooting and murders, what's right about that?" The chief said he was considering asking the feds take over the cases of "these repeat offenders," presumably because sentences in federal court are tougher. "We are tired of seeing the same individuals. This is what I hear from our officers," Paul said. |

For Homicide IONE, Amador County (CBS SF) — A Richmond man serving a life sentence at an Amador County prison for child rape and sex abuse was found dead in his cell and his cellmate was being held in his killing. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) said officers found 46-year-old Deandre Austin unresponsive in his cell at Mule Creek State Prison Wednesday evening after responding to a call of a “man down.” He was later pronounced dead despite life-saving measures by emergency personnel, CDCR said. Austin’s cellmate, identified as Rodney Jordan, was placed in segregated housing pending an investigation. Austin was sentenced in 2008 to a life sentence with the possibility of parole for the continuous sexual assault of his three elementary school-aged nieces when they shared homes in Richmond between 2002 and 2006. He was convicted of rape, lewd and lascivious conduct with a child under age 14, continuous sex abuse of a child under 14, penetration with a foreign object with a victim under 14, oral copulation and sodomy. A photographer working for The Associated Press witnessed a Trump supporter being taken away in an ambulance and an injured San Francisco police officer on the ground by San Francisco’s United Nations Plaza. Team Save America organized the rally to protest Twitter, which it said squelches conservative speech. Members of the group wore red “Make America Great Again” Trump campaign hats and carried pro-police “Thin Blue Line” flags and U.S. flags. Philip Anderson, the organizer of the event, posted photos to social media of his bloody mouth with a front tooth missing and another hanging loosely. He said anti-fascist protesters attacked him “for no reason.” Anderson took the stage at about 1 p.m. and was greeted by chants and plastic water bottles and glass bottles thrown over police barricades. The event was canceled, although both sides lingered in the area into the afternoon. The San Francisco Police Department said three officers suffered non life-threatening injuries when they were assaulted with pepper spray and caustic chemicals. One officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the department said. No arrests were made, the department said. Anderson called the counterprotesters hypocrites and said they are the reason why he’s voting for President Donald Trump. “I love America, I love this country and I love free speech,” he said. |

police officer was justified in
shooting knife-wielding man, DA
says The police officer who fatally shot a knife-wielding man in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, last month was justified in opening fire and will not face criminal charges, Lancaster District Attorney Heather Adams said on Wednesday. The investigation dates to September 13 when an officer shot Ricardo Munoz, 27, after a report of a domestic disturbance. The shooting was declared a homicide and sparked protests a day later in which eight people were arrested. In a press conference Wednesday, Adams said the officer was being chased by Munoz, who was armed with a knife. The officer "ran for his life," she said, before turning and firing at him. "There was no time or opportunity for de-escalation," she said. |

France
opens terror probe after teacher
beheaded in Paris suburb by bloody
satan spawn muslim terrorist A man armed with a knife on Friday beheaded a history teacher in front of his school in a suburb of Paris in what President Emmanuel Macron said was an "Islamist terrorist attack". The assailant was shot dead by police. The teacher had recently discussed caricatures of the (false) Prophet Mohammed in class, according to police and media sources. France's anti-terror prosecutor said it was investigating the fatal attack, which took place in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, a suburb north-west of Paris. President Emmanuel Macron headed to the scene following an emergency meeting at the French interior ministry. Decrying an "Islamist terrorist attack", the French president said the whole country stood united behind its teachers. "A citizen has been murdered today because he was a teacher and because he taught freedom of expression," Macron said near the school where the teacher was killed. "Terrorists will not divide France, obscurantism will not prevail," Macron added. Police said witnesses had heard him shout "Allahu Akbar", or "(Only our Muslim) God is Great". The grisly murder was an attack on the French nation as a whole, Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer said on Twitter. "Our unity and our resolve are the only responses faced with the monstrosity of Islamist terrorism," the minister wrote. The teacher reportedly "asked his Muslim students to leave the room because he was going to show some cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed that could have caused offence," Kim said, adding that this had angered some parents. |

Farmer? Latin Kings gang member once
beat two men to death with hammer CHICAGO — The R Kelly case just got murkier after an inmate at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, Chicago, claimed he sneaked into the prison cell to attack the singer. Kelly was arrested in 2019 on federal charges alleging sex crimes after he was the subject of numerous allegations of sexual abuse and misconduct with underage girls back. In a handwritten six-page legal filing to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals titled, "The Government Made Me Attack R Kelly", the attacker identified as Jeremiah Shane Farmer said he was forced to beat the Grammy-winning King of Pop-Soul behind the bars. The attack occurred at 9.45 am on August 26 and the legal document was filed on September 1. "Farmer, with nowhere else to turn for legal help, was forced to assault hip-hop R&B singer Robert Kelly in hopes of getting spotlight attention and world news notice to shed the light on the government corruption," the documents read, adding, "Due to the most blatant government corruption in Farmer’s case, and being in lockdown for R Kelly protest, I physically beat Mr Kelly in an attempt to shed media spotlight on Farmer’s case to prove government corruption and helping Farmer’s innocence to prevail." |

On Thursday, investigators learned who the puppy was and that she was last seen in the custody of Ra’shae Syrtaj Jermaine Johnson. Johnson was picked up for questioning and eventually confessed to setting fire to a crate while the dog was locked inside. Upon their arrival, officers were able to determine the fire was a plastic dog crate. After the fire was extinguished, firefighters noticed a small puppy running around the area. They approached the puppy and noticed she had suffered burns to her face and paws and had black melted plastic on her back and top of her head. Firefighters transported her to Diley Hill Animal Emergency Center for treatment. On October 14, investigators asked the public for assistance in identifying the dog and owner. The division received many calls with tips and many more from people offering money for the treatment costs and/or reward money for information. Johnson is being charged with “Provisions Concerning Companion Animals,” a 5th degree felony. The puppy was adopted by an employee of the hospital and is recovering well. |

Creep busted for sexually
assaulting 85-yr-old elderly woman
in NYC building’s laundry room A creep sexually assaulted an 85-year-old woman inside the laundry room of her Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, apartment building Thursday morning — but was nabbed hours later in Manhattan after a detective recognized him on the street, police and law-enforcement sources said. The incident unfolded around 9:30 a.m. in a residential building on Marine Avenue, according to cops. The suspect, 25-year-old Mario Pope, allegedly molested the woman. The victim fought back, and Pope ran off, sources said. He then allegedly went to a nearby park and followed another woman, who called 911. Cops responded and determined no crime had been committed but caught Pope’s face on their body cameras, the sources said. The woman in the laundry room then called cops, and investigators determined it was the same man they encountered at the park, sources said. Cops ran the body-camera footage of Pope through a facial-recognition database at One Police Plaza, sources said. One of the detectives from the facial ID unit then left the police hub — and happened to spot Pope near the building, sources said. The detective brought him into custody. Pope was hit with charges of attempted rape, burglary, sex abuse, forcible touching and unlawful imprisonment. Pope has several sealed arrests. |

Deputies who killed Beach Park
suspect during shootout acted
‘reasonably and appropriately’ Two law enforcement officers who alleged they were fired upon before killing a Black Beach Park man while trying to arrest him on a murder warrant in June acted “reasonably and appropriately,” Lake County State’s Attorney Michael Nerheim said Friday. Nerheim announced his findings as he concluded a review of the deadly force used by the two white law enforcement officers as they attempted to arrest Brandon Gardner, who was killed in an exchange of gunfire June 16 in Beach Park by a deputy from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and one from the McHenry County’s Sheriff’s Office. The deputies were working as members of a U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. According to authorities, the officers had received reports that Gardner, who was wanted for first-degree murder, had been located at an address in the 38500 block of Green Bay Road in Beach Park, and was in a Chevrolet Traverse parked in the driveway. Gardner, Nerheim noted, knew that he was wanted for the December 2018 killing of Nicholas Robinson, 18, of Zion. At the time of the shooting, four other men had been charged with Robinson’s killing and were in custody, police said. Gardner had texted friends that “it’s gon b a bang out” if police tried to arrest him, and that he would not go without a fight, Nerheim said. |

His shoulder is shattered, and the force of the gunfire fractured his jaw, blowing out his teeth. “My tongue is gone,” Tommy said. Tommy said it all started when he picked up three passengers earlier this month in Del City. Tommy quickly became suspicious when the trio in the back seat kept changing their destination, so he stopped at a nearby 7-Eleven. “He was trying to get them out of the car and that’s when the gentleman jumped out,” Sheryl Cross, Tommy’s wife, said. According to police, a male suspect fired a gun while Tommy scrambled to drive away. He eventually crashed into a truck and a wall while the left side of his body continued to bleed out. “He makes $2.81 a ride if we don’t get a tip,” Sheryl Cross said. “I just don’t understand the point of it. I really don’t.” The suspects made their getaway with Tommy’s phone and wallet. “They said it was a miracle he was alive,” Sheryl Cross said. Tommy has been through six surgeries and doctors aren’t positive if he will ever have full motion of his arm again. The Cross’ say they do not have health insurance and their car insurance didn’t cover the wreck. Donations can be made to Tommy Cross at this PayPal account. Dyke Driver was venting about Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito’s recent comments against same-sex marriage. “This is day one of the new SCOTUS term; the religious zealots want to enact the Christian version of Sharia law,” dyke Driver wrote on her private page on Oct. 5. “If you voted for the orange monster with COVID, go f–k yourself. If you plan on voting for him again, unfriend me and go f–k yourself again.” Hunterdon GOP chair Gabe Plumer said dyke Driver’s statement was “particularly shameful and insulting.” “While I don’t quite know where to begin, I do know where to end: Mayor dyke Driver, you should resign and you should do it now,” Plumer wrote on the GOP’s website. “Your statement is antithetical to the principles of representative democracy. It is further proof that you do not represent the people of Flemington, the character of Hunterdon County, and the values of at least a part of the Democrat party.” “By any elected official, it has no place whatsoever in the public discourse,” Ciattarelli tweeted. “I join with Chairman Plumer in calling for Driver’s resignation & urge leaders across our state to do the same.” Dyke Driver is a member of the LGBTQ community and married Loretta Borowsky in 2013, NJ.com noted. Plumer was also blasting her for deciding to paint over a thin blue line — in support of law enforcement officers — on Main Street in Flemington ahead of a Black Lives Matter protest in June, the outlet reported. The blue line has since been repainted twice. |

Men Charged With Murder Of (White)
Philly Police Sgt. James O’Connor
Boasted Of Killing In Jail PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Seven months ago Tuesday, Philadelphia Police Sgt. James O’Connor was shot and killed in the line of duty. Now, the suspects charged with his murder are making their first court appearances. The court appearance was delayed due to COVID-19. In-person court hearings at the Criminal Justice Center are extremely rare. There are plastic partitions up all over the courtroom. Prosecutors say the evidence shown Tuesday was damning against the four men held in the murder of O’Connor. Police carried a .22-caliber long gun that ballistics show was used in the murder of O’Connor into the courtroom Tuesday. Police say O’Connor was killed on the morning of March 13 when SWAT officers were pursuing two suspects in a 2019 homicide when, police say, shots were fired from the middle bedroom of a home on Bridge Street. Early on, police identified Hassan Elliott as the prime suspect. Prosecutors introduced what they called damning evidence — prison notes, or kites as they’re called in jail cell graffiti — against three of four defendants, where they were allegedly boasting about killing a police officer. O’Connor was posthumously promoted to sergeant. - (Black-on-White) |

Arrest
warrant for (black) man accused of
killing (White) attorney in road
rage shooting MILWAUKEE - An arrest warrant has been issued for a Milwaukee man accused of fatally shooting Jason Cleereman, a Milwaukee immigration attorney, during a road rage incident near Brady Street and Holton Street on Sept. 22. Prosecutors say he was out on bond at the time of the shooting in separate cases -- released in March. Theodore Edgecomb,30, faces one count of first-degree reckless homicide, use of a dangerous weapon, one count of felony bail jumping and a third count of misdemeanor bail jumping. Cleereman died from a single gunshot wound to his head, an autopsy revealed. He also suffered blunt force injuries to his face. A criminal complaint says Cleereman's wife told investigators she was driving westbound on Brady with both the driver's side and passenger's side windows down when she saw a man on a bicycle headed east in the westbound lanes. She said she had to swerve to miss him, and Cleereman said, "What the heck!" At the light at Humboldt and Brady, the bicyclist pulled alongside them, leaning into the front passenger window, asking Cleereman, "Are you talking to me?" When Cleereman said, "Yes," he was punched, and began bleeding, according to prosecutors. The bicyclist then continued west on Brady, turning north at Holton and Brady. Cleereman's wife said Cleereman told her to turn north on Holton, where he got out of the vehicle. At this point, Cleereman's wife said her husband approached the bicyclist, and she saw that the bicyclist had a gun. She said she yelled to her husband about the gun, but "he did not hear her." She then saw the man shoot her husband before looking at her "as though he was contemplating shooting her." The complaint said after the shooting, he was caught on camera carrying his bike down to Water Street. Cameras at Water and Humboldt showed him pulling his shirt over a bulge in his waistband, consistent with a firearm, before continuing east on Water Street toward the Beerline Trail. Prosecutors believe Edgecomb stored his bicycle at his Milwaukee home after the shooting -- and found it in the basement when a search warrant was executed days later. Investigators also found a Ruger SR9 9mm handgun magazine loaded with 10 brass 9mm unfired cartridges, and a second unloaded 9mm Ruger magazine. - (Black-on-White) |

(White) teen injured in Orange
City ORANGE CITY, Fla. – A man accused of slashing a teen’s face in a random attack showed up drunk to a family friend’s house after the fact and admitted that he hid in the bushes and attacked someone, according to the Orange City Police Department. Records show a 15-year-old boy was playing basketball by himself at Mill Lake Park Saturday afternoon and as he was walking home because it had started to rain, a man came up from behind and used a sharp object to cut the right side of the boy’s face. Police said the cut was 6 to 8 inches long and 1 inch deep. A picture of his injury shows that it required about two dozen stitches. The boy said he had no enemies, wasn’t involved with drugs and didn’t know who would attack him, according to the report. On Tuesday, a witness met with detectives to provide information about the case. The witness said that on Saturday, Nathaniel Peoples, a close family friend, came to his home drunk and “off his meds” and said that he had just “gave a jit a buck fifty,” records show. A “buck fifty” is prison slang for slashing someone’s face from their mouth to their ear. The witness said 23-year-old Peoples hid in the bushes then jumped out and attacked the boy. - (Black-on-White) |

Decapitated,

to upgraded charges A trusted employee accused of killing his boss and hacking up the body in the victim’s $2 million apartment pleaded not guilty Tuesday to upgraded charges of first-degree murder. Tyrese Devon Haspil appeared via video link in Manhattan Supreme Court for his arraignment in the slaying of Fahim Saleh, a tech investor who was found decapitated inside his Lower East Side residence on July 13. The Brooklyn man spoke only to state his name and calmly plead “not guilty.” His sister was in the courtroom for the proceeding, which was shown on video. The 21-year-old, who worked as Saleh’s executive assistant, was initially arrested on second-degree murder charges but indicted on one count of first-degree murder — the most serious homicide charge, which carries a minimum sentence of 15 years to life in prison and a maximum sentence of 25 to life — as well as second-degree murder. Haspil is accused of butchering Saleh after the boss learned that his trusted employee had embezzled more than $90,000. |

71-year-old Birmingham woman’s
killing sent to grand jury; bond
denied A Jefferson County judge ruled there was enough evidence against the suspect in the fatal shooting of a 71-year-old Birmingham for the case to proceed in the courts. Kartavius Vines, 37, is charged with capital murder in the Sept. 13 shooting death of 71-year-old Javanna “Midge” Cotton Owens. The shooting happened shortly after 9 p.m. that Sunday on Brussels Circle in Birmingham’s Harris Homes community. Birmingham police responded at 9:05 p.m. on report of a person shot. Owens was found unresponsive in the roadway and taken to UAB Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 9:40 p.m. Birmingham police Sgt. Rod Mauldin said Owens was walking down the street and approached the vehicle as if she knew the occupants. That’s when a single shot was fired from the vehicle and Owens was struck. The suspect vehicle then drove away. With the help of the FLOCK LPR cameras – license plate readers – police were able to locate the vehicle and took Vines into custody. Vines appeared this week before Jefferson County District Judge Katrina Ross. His attorney, Victor Revill, had requested a bond for Vines, saying the suspect says he poses no real and present danger to others, himself or the public at large. After hearing some of the evidence against Vines, the judge said there was enough to send the case on to a grand jury and also denied the suspect’s request for bond. Revill declined to comment. |

‘I’ll just call it what it is. I
beat him’: NYC pol rants after
allegedly beating son Brooklyn Assemblywoman Diana Richardson defended severe corporal punishment of her child during a 15-minute video tirade she produced on social media. Richardson’s Facebook Live rant was triggered by her protest of the media outlet City&State for putting her on a list of politicians it had once honored who it says have since “crashed, burned and flamed out.” “They had the nerve to put Diana Richardson on the crash, burn elected official list,” Richardson said, referring to herself in the third person. But what really outraged Richardson is that the outlet recycled her 2017 criminal case when Richardson was accused of beating her 12-year-old son with a broomstick in its summary of her fall from grace on the list. Richardson said she’s being unfairly portrayed as an “angry black woman.” Toward the end of her videotape, Richardson defended whupping kids as a form of discipline. “I’m Caribbean! We discipline our children,” Richardson said, making a broad characterization. “If I was not elected and I tag up my son’s ass, I’ll just call it what it is. I beat him,” said the pol, who represents the central Brooklyn neighborhoods of Crown Heights, East Flatbush, Wingate and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens. “And I grew up receiving plenty lickings and I’m doing real good right now. So don’t come to judge me and judge my family. I’m sick of it. It is disrespectful,” she went on. Richardson repeatedly said she’s a “strong black woman” who is “unafraid” and stands up for her constituents, and that’s all that matters. “I feel pretty good about me,” she said. Richardson was also accused of blaming Jews for gentrification in her district. |

FAGS: Netflix Star Jerry
Harris Was Victim of Cheer World
Where ‘Predators Were Largely
Unchecked,’ Lawyers Argue But prosecutors argue the 21-year-old is a “brazen sexual predator” who exploited at least 10 young boys. Jerry Harris, of Netflix’s Cheer who has been accused of coercing nearly a dozen young boys into sending him explicit photos and videos, is a victim of the competitive cheerleading world “where sexual predators were largely unchecked with children of all ages,” his lawyers said in a Wednesday motion arguing for his release on bail. Harris, 21, has been in federal custody since his arrest last month on child pornography charges. He allegedly pressured at least 10 young boys—including a 13-year-old he met on Instagram—to send him explicit photos and videos, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois said. He also allegedly admitted to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old in an unlocked public bathroom during a cheerleading event last year and now faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison. - (Black-on-White) |

couple believe drive-by shooter
targeted house over ‘thin blue

The shooter pulled up in a dark SUV last Friday and squeezed off nine shots, hitting the couple’s home and car six times, they told local news station KIRO. The couple, grandparents who have lived in the north Seattle neighborhood for 30 years, told the station they believe they were targeted because they fly a “thin blue line” flag outside their house. “Everybody has an opinion and we’re entitled to it. You don’t shoot me for it!” the grandmother told the news station. Her husband added that people have come to their home several times to complain about the flag. Once, a vandal scrawled “ACAB” — short for “all cops are bastards” — in spray paint in front of their house, according to the report. Police warned the couple to take the flag down to ensure their safety, the woman told KIRO. “The police said as much as we appreciate your support, we tell our families don’t fly them,” she said. |

American NYC mom took nap after
tossing newborn out window, court
docs claim The Queens woman who tossed her newborn son out a bathroom window simply showered and took a nap afterward, according to court papers Tuesday. Suspect Sabita Dookram, 23, cruelly ignored her gravely injured baby’s cries — which were caught on local surveillance tape — as his tiny body lay next to the garbage 5 feet below, prosecutors said. Instead, the mom cleaned up the bathroom with a yellow towel — and when her sister-in-law told her she thought she heard a baby wailing outside, even then, Dookram kept silent, a criminal complaint says. “I panicked and threw it out of the bathroom window,’’ Dookram allegedly told cops Sunday of her child. “I did not check on the baby. I put my clothes in the laundry hamper in the bathroom, I showered and went to sleep.” Dookram said she “cut the cord with a scissor from the bathroom’’ after giving birth in the bathtub Saturday evening, documents show. “I had a baby out of nowhere,’’ insisted the suspect — even though she allegedly admitted she knew she was pregnant from a one-night stand around her birthday with a coworker at JFK Airport, where she works, at about five months. “I went to the bathroom, and the baby popped out of me. I didn’t know what to do, I’m sorry,’’ Dookram allegedly told investigators. The boy — referred to as “John Doe’’ by police Monday because he had yet to be named — weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces at birth and was full term. He was immediately put on a ventilator at the hospital and “is still on life support in critical condition.’’ “He has numerous injuries including brain bleeding, swelling of his brain, skull fracture, internal damage and internal bleeding.’’ “Meanwhile, she threw a full-term baby boy out of a window over 5 feet high’’ and left him “naked on the ground for several hours,” the ADA said. She is able to clean the bathroom … all while the child was crying,’’ Kelly said — adding that authorities have video surveillance “where we can hear the baby’s wails.” |

Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) asked Barrett what “impact” viral footage of a former Minneapolis police officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck had on her, as Democrats grilled the high court pick during a marathon hearing. “As you might imagine, given that I have two Black children, that was very, very personal for my family,” Barrett responded. “I was there, and my 17-year-old daughter Vivian, who’s adopted from Haiti, all of this was erupting. It was very difficult for her. We wept together in my room. It was also difficult for my daughter Juliet, who’s 10. I had to try to explain some of this to them,” Barrett said. "racism persists in our country,” Barrett said. |

THE HEAD OF THE MALE HERO "Newly unveiled Medusa statue in Manhattan sends #MeToo-(I've been raped by a dirty old jewish movie producer) message" “(replaces one of your lynched Columbus statues)” said Argentine-Italian artist Luciano Garbati, who reinvisioned the snake-haired Medusa, turning her ancient story on its head by making her the victor against the hero Perseus. The 1000-pound figure — which will be left in place by the artist for six months — seems to relish in her win, as she stands proudly with a solemn gaze, sword in one hand, and the head in another. |

NH DiMezzo - the lone Republican candidate for Cheshire County sheriff in September’s primary - believes most voters blindly checked the box next to her name. She only registered as a Republican at the last second, after concluding her bid to get on the ballot as a Libertarian - her preferred party - would have required gathering signatures amid the coronavirus pandemic. “Anyone who takes a look at me knows pretty much right off the bat that I’m clearly not a Republican,” said DiMezzo, who stands over 6 feet tall, sports fire-engine red hair and has tattoos on both arms. DiMezzo, who unsuccessfully ran as a Libertarian in the 2018 sheriff’s race, said she hopes to attract voters on the left and right with campaign promises to support gun rights and limited government and combat police wrongdoing. Among her proposals is to have sheriff’s deputies “pull over police for harassing peaceful citizens.” DiMezzo, who unsuccessfully ran as a Libertarian in the 2018 sheriff’s race, said she hopes to attract voters on the left and right with campaign promises to support gun rights and limited government and combat police wrongdoing. Chicago man arrested in road-rage
killing of Waukegan motorist,
police say A Chicago man has been charged with first-degree murder in what police describe as a road-rage incident late Friday in Waukegan. Sheldon Brown, 33, was ordered held in lieu of $3 million bail at the Lake County jail after allegedly shooting a man to death at about 11:50 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 8th and Jackson streets. The victim has not been formally identified, pending an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday, police said. He is a Waukegan resident in his 30s, according to authorities. According to police, the victim, who was driving a white SUV, accidentally ran into the rear of Brown’s maroon-colored sedan. Brown exited his vehicle and then shot the victim, police said. Police say they were called to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire and found the victim in the street with apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported the man to a hospital where he later died, police said. Brown was identified as the alleged shooter through witnesses and what police called an active community response. He was taken into custody Saturday in Waukegan without incident, police said. Authorities said they recovered a .40-caliber pistol. |

(CRAVEN
black) Shot Woman Who
Refused To Have Sex For $40 MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WCCO) — A 41-year-old Brooklyn Center man is charged with attempted murder after police say he shot a woman after she refused to have sex with him for money. Investigators say Mantu Craven offered a ride to a woman waiting at a Minneapolis bus stop in the early morning of Sept. 12. She agreed and got in the car. The woman told police they drove to an ATM, he withdrew money, and then said they were going to drive to his friend’s house in Coon Rapids. Instead, the woman said Craven drove to a park near Cenaiko Lake and the Coon Rapids Dam. She says he asked her to have sex with him for $40. She says he got out of the car and walked to her side, and she then locked her door, begging him to take her home. She says Craven then pulled her out of the car at gunpoint, shoved her to the ground, then fired several shots at her, two of which struck her in the abdomen. He then fled when she pulled out her phone and pretended to call for help. The victim, who was naked from the waist down, then ran through a wooded area, eventually making her way onto Highway 610 near East River Road in Coon Rapids, where she was soon spotted by Minnesota State Patrol troopers. She was rushed to an area hospital for surgery, although doctors were unable to remove one of the bullets in her abdomen. The other bullet had entered her abdomen, then traveled through her right leg. |

UofSC student wanted for deadly
shooting on Senate St. turns
himself in COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - One day after police announced the arrest of a suspect in the deadly shooting that happened near the University of South Carolina campus, the second suspect has turned himself in to police. Zachery Williams, 20, turned himself in to the Columbia Police Department on Thursday morning with the assistance of his attorney, officials said. UofSC confirmed Williams is a student who lives off campus. His (black) co-defendant, 20-year-old Xavier Glover, was arrested Wednesday. Both men are charged with murder and armed robbery in the death of 26-year-old Wesley Brown, of Greenville. Investigators believe Williams and Glover saw Brown walking alone in the 1700 block of Senate Street early Sunday morning. Moments later, police say Williams approached Brown, stole his personal belongings and shot him before both suspects drove away from the scene. Because police believe Williams was the shooter, he also faces a charge of possession of a weapon during a violent crime. A couple out for a walk around 8 a.m. Sunday found Brown lying on the ground and called 911. When officers and medical personnel arrived, they pronounced him dead. Officials said Brown was in Columbia for a wedding when he was shot and killed. - (Black-on-White) |

Remains
of woman found in 1981 identified
as victim of BLACK serial killer
Samuel Little (CNN) A cold case in Georgia has been solved. The remains of a woman found in Dade County almost 40 years ago have finally been identified. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says her name was Patricia Parker, and GBI investigators believe she was the victim of serial killer Samuel Little. In 2018, Little told the Texas Rangers that he murdered a young Black woman in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in the early 1980s, the GBI said in a press release. Investigators from Georgia and Tennessee, according to the GBI statement, met with Little and gathered "more details that led them to believe the remains found in Dade County were the woman Little had taken in Chattanooga and killed in Georgia." Last year, the GBI unveiled a forensic reconstruction of the woman's skull and asked for the public's help in identifying her. A family came forward, the GBI added, and DNA samples obtained from them positively identified Parker, who was 30 years old at the time of her death. |

(black female nose-ringed) Youth
correctional center employee in
Louisiana arrested after admitting
to having sex with juvenile
offender [sex of juvenile victim not reported] MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — An employee at the Swanson Center for Youth has been arrested after admitting to having sex with a juvenile offender. According to an affidavit and warrant of arrest, 21-year-old Jumishia Baker was arrested after telling investigators with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office that she had sex twice with a 17-year-old offender that was being housed at Swanson. On September 2, 2020, a Juvenile Justice Specialist 1 (JJS1) submitted an Unusual Occurrence Report (UOR) stating that they were told by Baker that Baker and the offender had sex two nights in a row. On the same day, a JJS2 submitted a UOR stating that they saw Baker and the offender going toward a storage room area. The JJS2 stated that they noticed that Baker and the offender were in the back room of the storage area for an extended period of time, but did not witness any incident. When Baker and the offender exited the room, the JJS2 asked the offender what happened but the offender replied, “I can’t tell you because I don’t know if you’ll snitch.” Later that morning, according to the JJS2, they saw Baker and the offender sitting at a table talking, and heard Baker whisper, “Next time I want you to say my name.” - (Jumishia, Jumishia, Ju-mish-i-a.....) The SSJ2 stated that on September 4, 2020, the offender handed them a hand-written note and was asked to give it to Baker. The note, which stated that the offender was in love with Baker, was turned over to supervisors instead. When Baker was interviewed by the investigator, Baker stated that she made a mistake and said that she knew that she should not have done it. According to the affidavit, Baker admitted that she and the offender had sex twice. She also stated that she was not promised anything or threatened by the offender. The affidavit states that Baker then wrote a letter to the regional director, apologizing for having sex with the offender twice. According to the affidavit, there is no video monitoring in the office area where the incidents happened, but video from a hallway leading to the office showed that Baker and the offender entered the office together several times on Aug. 27, 28, and Sep. 1, 2, for various amounts of time. Baker was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on one count of felony malfeasance in office — sexual conduct prohibited with prisoner. Her bond was set at $5,000 and has since bonded out. |
