Los

near pro-Trump rally |
ANTIFA Man under investigation in
fatal shooting after pro-Trump
rally allegedly took loaded gun to
earlier Portland protest A 48-year-old man who was accused of carrying a loaded gun at an earlier downtown Portland protest is under investigation in the fatal shooting Saturday night of a right-wing demonstrator after a pro-Trump rally. Michael Forest Reinoehl calls himself an anti-fascist and has posted videos and photos of demonstrations he attended since late June, accompanied by the hashtags #blacklivesmatter, #anewnation (ABSOLUTLEY NO CONNECTIN TO 'NEW NATION NEWS') and #breonnataylor. Reinoehl was raised in Sandy and has had recent addresses in Northeast Portland, Gresham and Clackamas. He described himself on social media and in a video interview with Bloomberg QuickTake News as a professional snowboarder and contractor who has former military experience but “hated” his time in the army. Sources familiar with the case but not authorized to speak said police are investigating Reinoehl. A family member also identified him as a man captured in photos and video seen leaving the shooting scene shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday. On July 5 at one of the demonstrations, Reinoehl was cited at 2:10 a.m. in the 700 block of Southwest Main Street on allegations of possessing a loaded gun in a public place, resisting arrest and interfering with police He was given a date to appear in court later that month, but the allegations were dropped on July 30 with a “no complaint,” according to court records. The documents don’t indicate why prosecutors decided not to pursue the accusations. Reinoehl spent no time behind bars. Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt, said the office is still reviewing that July case involving Reinoehl. Schmidt earlier Sunday decried the deadly violence. He took office on Aug. 1 and quickly announced that he wouldn’t pursue "low-level" charges against demonstrators, such as interfering with police or resisting arrest. Michael Reinoehl has been estranged from (his) family – including her, their parents and a younger brother – for at least three years, his sister said. “But he’s also been very impulsive and irrational.” Reinoehl has stolen their mother’s seizure medication and owes a lot of debt, often giving his relatives’ addresses as his own to avoid responsibility, she said. He has a son and daughter and is split from their mother, she said. Reinoehl’s is also wanted on a failure to appear warrant in a June 8 speed racing case in Baker County in eastern Oregon. Michael Reinoehl faces allegations including driving under the influence of a controlled substance, recklessly endangering another, unlawful possession of a gun and driving while suspended and uninsured. He was stopped driving a 2005 Cadillac STS with his 11-year-old daughter as a passenger, police said. Inside the car, police said they found marijuana, “unidentified prescription pills” and a loaded Glock pistol for which Reinoehl didn’t have a concealed handgun license. Shortly after that, Reinoehl began posting about the protests in Portland.

Prayer ‘supporter’ Jay Bishop
identified as Portland shooting
victim The man fatally shot in Portland, Ore. amid clashes between Black Lives Matter protesters and backers of President Trump has been identified as Patriot Prayer “supporter” Jay Bishop by the right-wing group’s head. “We love Jay and he had such a huge heart,” wrote Joey Gibson, founder of the Washington-based group, in a Sunday Facebook post. “God bless him and the life he lived.” Gibson withheld further comment in the post until Bishop’s family could speak out, but previously told The Associated Press that Bishop “was a good friend and a supporter of Patriot Prayer.” Gibson told the outlet that he too was in the City of Roses on Saturday night, when Bishop was shot dead in the street around 8:45 p.m. local time. of the incident and its aftermath capture two shots ringing out, leaving Bishop lying in the street, facedown and motionless. Both an apparent ally of the man and Black Lives Matter protesters tried to render aid to him before the police arrived, but his wounds proved fatal. Local authorities did not immediately announce an arrest or publicly identify a suspect in the slaying. |

Video
captures deadly shooting of man
in Patriot Prayer cap during
Portland protests Shocking video captured the moment a man in a right-wing Patriot Prayer cap was shot dead in Portland after a day of violent clashes between President Trump supporters and Black Lives Matter protesters. Videographer Justin Dunlap was filming live late Saturday, casually noting new artwork on buildings as most of the day’s violence appeared to have ended when he suddenly turned toward shouting. Two gunshots then rang out, a cloud of smoke appearing to show the gunman standing just a few feet in front of his target. As a group of about a half-dozen shouted and fled, one of the other men started walking away — collapsing on the ground after a few steps, a panicked driver skidding to a halt just feet in front of him. Several people rushed to help, and officers in riot gear — who say they heard the shots while policing the demonstrations — were there within minutes. An Associated Press freelance photographer who heard three gunshots saw police medics working on the body of the victim, who appeared to be a white man. The freelancer said the man was wearing a hat bearing the insignia of Patriot Prayer, a right-wing group whose members have frequently clashed with protesters in Portland in the past. |

killer gets 5 life sentences for
killing 5 (White) people in south
Kansas City in 2014 KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office says that convicted murderer Brandon Howell will spend the rest of his life in prison, getting five life sentences on Thursday for a 2014 killing spree in south Kansas City. Howell, 38, was convicted in April by a jury on all counts of first -degree murder he faced for beating two people to death and shooting and killing three others on September 2, 2014. His sentences are consecutive, and he’ll never be eligible for parole. The killings happened on Woodbridge Lane, near Wornall Road and Blue Ridge Boulevard. The victims were 86-year-old Ann Taylor, 80-year-old George Taylor, 88-year-old Lorene Hurst, her 68-year-old son Darrel Hurst and 69-year-old Susan Choucroun. In August 2015 Jackson County prosecutors said they would seek the death penalty for Howell. However, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said in April that her office met with all of the family members and decided it was best to remove death as an option in this case and to see the rest of Howell’s nature life in prison. “They are still heartbroken,” Baker said. “They are still heartbroken but they’re elated with the news. They waited so so long to get here. They’ve been very patient so I’m very grateful to be able to deliver that news today.” Baker said this was a case that struck terror in a whole community. Howell allegedly tried to steal a vintage Jaguar from Ann and George Taylor. Police found the couple badly beaten and barely clinging to life in their basement. They later died at the hospital. According to a police investigation, Howell hot-wired the car and tried to get away. But the car didn’t work, and neighbors came outside to try to help. That’s when court documents say Howell allegedly shot at them and killed Lorene Hurst, Darrel Hurst and Susan Choucroun. Then, court documents say Howell drove off in another one of the Taylor’s cars, a Toyota SUV. It all happened in broad daylight, around one o’clock. Hours later, just before midnight, police found Howell walking with a shotgun they said he brought to the Taylor’s home and used in the killings, near I-29 and Northwest Barry Road. They said he attacked three people at a Motel 6 after he left Woodbridge. Howell is facing charges in Platte County related to that incident. A memorial stands tall at the entrance of the Woodbridge neighborhood in South Kansas City. It’s a reminder of the five victims. - (Black-on-White) |

(A black suspect) was arrested for
the murder LUBBOCK, Texas — An arrest warrant released after the arrest of Curtis Smith, 26, of Lubbock describes what led up to the murder of Wade Parramore just outside Lubbock’s western city limits Thursday morning. Former
employee speaks out about security
company involved in deadly KC bar
shooting KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A former employee of Force One Security is voicing concerns the company is putting people in danger. "I would say protect yourself,” said Ashley Tedford, who worked for Force One Security for almost a year and left last summer. “Any company you go to work for, stand up for yourself and make sure you are getting the proper training because you can end up just like the two officers who are facing prison charges today." The two officers Tedford is referring to are former Force One employees who are now charged with murder for a shooting outside of the Yum Yum Bar & Grill at 24th and Hardesty in June. Prosecutors say while working security at the bar, Markell Pinkins and Christopher Jones allegedly shot and killed 45-year-old Kevin Thomas, who was sitting in his car near the bar. “A lot of them aren't licensed to carry," Tedford said of Force One security guards. In fact, court documents say Jones, who allegedly shot Thomas three times "was scared to admit he had fired his weapon because he is not licensed to carry a firearm in a security capacity in Missouri." A third Force One security guard, Leon Doniphan, was also charged in the shooting for helping Jones hide his gun. |

Two
Officers Hurt, (Black) Attempted
Murder Suspect Killed In Shootout
with Police Officers The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is now investigating an officer-involved shooting which led to injuries for two Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) officers and the death of a suspect who was wanted for attempted murder. A tipster who wishes to remain anonymous called law enforcement for assistance at 2:38 p.m. this afternoon (August 29, 2020) saying that she knew the whereabouts of 44-year-old Michael A. Harris. DBPD officers and members of the Holly Hill Police Department (HHPD) were then dispatched to 1629 Espanola Avenue, Unit 104 in Holly Hill to bring Harris into custody. DBPD’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) had an active arrest warrant for Harris in relation to the shooting of a woman on August 18, 2020 at the Travelers Inn in Daytona Beach (850 South Ridgewood Avenue). A perimeter was established around the apartment, at which point officers approached the apartment on foot and then entered to try and arrest Harris. Body camera video from officers on scene show Harris attempted to evade the officers by running into a bedroom. As officers tried to enter the bedroom, Harris fired through the open door with a handgun. Law enforcement then exchanged fire repeatedly with Harris, wounding him. He died at the scene. Speaking to reporters afterward, DBPD Chief Craig Capri says Harris’ decision to use a gun forced the officers to use their weapons in self-defense. |

Man
who pulled gun at Florida BLM
rally freed after video reveals
assault by BLM thug mob A man was filmed pulling a handgun on Black Lives Matter protesters at a rally in Florida — then freed without charges after other footage showed him being punched and knocked to the ground, cops said. Initial footage from Saturday’s rally in Tallahassee showed an apparent counter-protester being confronted — then brandishing a handgun, forcing one man to drop to his knees with his hands up in surrender. But police — who pounced on him within seconds — later released other clips that showed he had pulled the gun after he’d been punched to the ground and jumped on by at least half-a-dozen protesters. That initial attack was missing from the initial protester’s clip — with the woman filming it suddenly cutting to a close up of her face as she screamed “he has a gun!” when he was being mobbed. |

Seventy-four
people are now facing federal charges
related to protests that have rocked
the city for three months since Floyd
was killed, the local U.S. attorney
announced Thursday. The misdemeanor and felony charges include assaults on federal officers, arson and damaging federal property. On Friday night protesters took to the condo lobby of Portland's mayor, staging a sit-in and demanding police budget reductions and Mayor Ted Wheeler´s resignation. They left after a few hours. Saturday's pro-Trump demonstration was organized on Facebook, and 2,500 people said they intended to attend. A New York Times reporter on the scene estimated that around 1,000 people showed up at Clackamas Town Center at 4pm. 'We would like to get some fellow American patriots together for a Trump 2020 Cruise rally to support our great president,' wrote Alex Kyzik, one of the organizers. Attendees were encouraged to bring their guns, and conceal-carry them, in a video he posted previewing the event. Some of those at the start, however, were openly flaunting their assault rifles. |

trafficking ring WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man from Palm Beach County is accused of operating a sex trafficking ring involving a teen runaway, sex and drugs. Attorney General Ashley Moody's Office of Statewide Prosecution filed charges against Orlith Joseph, initially arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Investigators said Joseph recruited and groomed his victims for sex trafficking through online ads and used addictive drugs as a form of payment to them. One of the victims, according to the Florida Attorney General's Office, was a 14-year-old runaway. Another was a 26-year-old who met Joseph through a mutual friend while in rehab. A third victim agreed to work with Joseph in exchange for heroin and hotel stays. Joseph started to beat the victim after the two argued over photos of the victim that had been posted online. "This predator targeted and recruited at-risk victims and exploited their vulnerability by coercing them into sex trafficking using extreme violence and perpetuating harmful drug addictions.," said Attorney General Ashley Moody. "One of these victims was just 14-years-old. As a mother, I am incredibly disturbed and heartbroken by this monster’s complete disregard for human life. I am grateful for the work by the law enforcement officers that brought these victims to safety and know my Statewide Prosecutors will seek justice." |

with KC church fire KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Kansas City police are asking for help in identifying a man suspected of setting fire to a church. Authorities are offering a reward of up $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Investigators said the fire at the Beyond Thee Four Walls Outreach Ministry Church at 5910 East U.S. 40 was set at 3 a.m. Wednesday. "Somebody firebombed our church," the Rev. Michael Higgins said. The fellowship area and offices are torched. Clothes and food donations to help the needy are now trash. "I don't know how any one person can have that much hatred against a place of worship," Higgins said. Beyond Thee Four Walls Outreach Ministry is a faith focused on serving others. About 65 people worship at the church. "It really saddens me because we're an up-and-coming church," Higgins said. Higgins said they have no idea why they were targeted. "We looked at the feed. We've never seen this guy before. So we don't understand at all," he said. A camera captured the moment about 3 a.m. when it appears the man pours something inside, lights it and runs off. "It's just a major setback for us. I just can't believe that somebody would do something like this," Higgins said. The main sanctuary was untouched. Leaders said they will hold services on Sunday and have a special rally service Thursday at 5:30 p.m. "It's not going to stop us whatsoever. We're going to keep on praising God and serving the community for sure," Higgins said. Investigators said the suspect appears to have long dreadlocks. |

Blake had a warrant out for his
arrest The cops involved in the shooting of Jacob Blake — which touched off a fresh wave of angry, anti-police sentiment across the country — were attempting to arrest him for violating a restraining order stemming from an alleged sexual assault, The Post has learned. Blake, 29, was forbidden from going to the Kenosha home of his alleged victim from the May 3 incident, and police were dispatched Sunday following a 911 call saying he was there. The responding officers were aware he had an open warrant for felony sexual assault, according to dispatch records and the Kenosha Professional Police Association, which released a statement on the incident on Friday. That police union statement also claimed that Blake was armed with a knife at the time of the shooting — and had put one cop in a headlock and shrugged off two Taser attempts while resisting arrest. |

In Sunday's incident, Blake was
"armed with a knife" and "forcefully

of them in a headlock, Brendan
Matthews, an attorney for the Kenosha
Professional Police Association, said
Friday, according to Kenosha News. Matthews said officers first tried unsuccessfully to subdue Blake with stun guns. The police union statement added that most accounts of the shooting were "wholly inaccurate" and "purely fictional,” Kenosha News reported. “The purely fictional depiction of events coming from those without direct knowledge of what actually occurred is incredibly harmful, and provides no benefit to anyone whatsoever, other than to perpetuate a misleading narrative,” Matthews stated. “Mr. Blake was not unarmed. He was armed with a knife. The officers did not see the knife initially. The officers issued repeated commands for Mr. Blake to drop the knife. He did not comply.” The 20-second video shot by a bystander doesn’t show what led up to the shooting and Wisconsin authorities have given few details. |

!Confessions
of
a voter fraud: I was a master at
fixing mail-in ballots! |
A top Democratic operative says
voter fraud, especially with mail-in
ballots, is no myth. And he knows this
because he’s been doing it, on a grand
scale, for decades. Mail-in ballots have become the latest flashpoint in the 2020 elections. While President Trump and the GOP warn of widespread manipulation of the absentee vote that will swell with COVID polling restrictions, many Democrats and their media allies have dismissed such concerns as unfounded. But the political insider, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he fears prosecution, said fraud is more the rule than the exception. His dirty work has taken him through the weeds of municipal and federal elections in Paterson, Atlantic City, Camden, Newark, Hoboken and Hudson County and his fingerprints can be found in local legislative, mayoral and congressional races across the Garden State. Some of the biggest names and highest office holders in New Jersey have benefited from his tricks, according to campaign records The Post reviewed. “An election that is swayed by 500 votes, 1,000 votes — it can make a difference,” the tipster said. “It could be enough to flip states.” The whisteblower — whose identity, rap sheet and long history working as a consultant to various campaigns were confirmed by The Post — says he not only changed ballots himself over the years, but led teams of fraudsters and mentored at least 20 operatives in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania — a critical 2020 swing state. “There is no race in New Jersey — form City Council to United States Senate — that we haven’t worked on,” the tipster said. “I worked on a fire commissioner’s race in Burlington County. The smaller the race the easier it is to do.” A Bernie Sanders die-hard with no horse in the presidential race, he said he felt compelled to come forward in the hope that states would act now to fix the glaring security problems present in mail-in ballots. “This is a real thing,” he said. “And there is going to be a f–king war coming November 3rd over this stuff … If they knew how the sausage was made, they could fix it.” Mail-in voting can be complicated — tough enough that 84,000 New Yorkers had their mailed votes thrown out in the June 23 Democratic presidential primary for incorrectly filling them out. But for political pros, they’re a piece of cake. In New Jersey, for example, it begins with a blank mail-in ballot delivered to a registered voter in a large envelope. Inside the packet is a return envelope, a “certificate of mail in voter” which the voter must sign, and the ballot itself. That’s when the election-rigger springs into action. [PLEASE GO TO THE SOURCE ARTICLE FOR GRUESOME EVIL SWAMP CORRUPTION DEMOCRATIC DETAILS.....] [SO MUCH FOR SO-CALLED 'DEMOCRACY'] Phony Ballots Inside Jobs Nursing Homes Voter Impersonation Bribing voters The tipster said New Jersey

(black) men charged with attempted
murder for "ambush" style attack
on Prince George's Co. officers PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Two men have been charged with attempted murder for their "ambush" style attack on Prince George's County Police Officers. The Prince George’s County Police Department arrested and charged two men for opening fire on patrol officers, shooting and injuring three of those officers. The patrol officers were attacked while responding to a call for a residential robbery in progress at a home in the 1300 block of Capital View Terrace in Landover on Sunday. Police say the suspects are 45-year-old Andre Larnell Smith and 27-year-old Steven Maurice Warren. Both Smith and Warren face multiple charges to include first and second degree attempted murder, assault and gun charges. Police say the first arriving officer’s dashcam recorded the start of the unprovoked attack. The suspects opened fire as soon as that first officer stopped his cruiser. The officer was shot multiple times but was still able to return fire and make an emergency radio dispatch for help. The suspects got into their car and sped down the street before making a U-turn and headed back toward the officers. According to police, the suspects continued to fire on the officers while trying to flee the area but crashed into a tree on Capital View Terrace. Both suspects suffered injuries related to the crash, but neither suspect was shot. They were then taken into custody. One weapon was recovered on the scene. A second was located in the suspects’ car. Two of the injured officers are now recovering at home and one remains hospitalized. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening. The wounded officers include a 15-year veteran, an officer with five years of service and one who joined the department four years ago. A total of four officers discharged their duty weapons on the scene. They are now on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. |

According to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, Lionel Timms faces one felony count of third-degree assault — causing substantial bodily harm — in connection to the Aug. 14 incident. The morning of the incident, Timms allegedly punched and kicked a victim in an alley located on the 300 block of Hennepin Avenue East. Witnesses reported seeing the victim being kicked while on the ground. Timms was arrested in the early afternoon after the report of a suspicious person, the complaint said. The victim is being treated at Hennepin Healthcare for a traumatic brain injury, a fractured skull and a brain bleed. The victim also needed stitches. In a statement released Wednesday, the Minnesota Freedom Fund said it is “deeply saddened and troubled” by the arrest of Timms in connection to the August assault of a “popular and well-respected member of our community.” According to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, Timms’ attorney requested bail on July 27, two weeks after Timms was detained. According to Hennepin County, Timms was accused of assaulting a person on a bus in Bloomington on July 11, and faces an identical felony assault charge in that case. The northeast Minneapolis victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, is a manager at the nearby Mac’s Industrial Sports Bar. A GoFundMe has been set up to cover medical bills and lost wages. The fund has already raised more than $37,000 as of Wednesday evening, which is $2,000 more than the fundraising goal. The organizer says the extra money will be donated to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. (ALMOST CERTAINLY a Black-on-White crime) |

12-year-old female student A Queens martial arts teacher was sentenced Tuesday to seven years in prison for raping a 12-year-old student, officials announced. Hector Quinchi, 37, pleaded guilty in July to first-degree rape, endangering the welfare of a child and other charges as part of a plea deal. “This defendant was supposed to teach this youngster how to defend herself, but he was the one from whom she needed protection,” said Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz. “He manipulated a child too young to consent to sex.” The victim took lessons taught by Quinchi at Hugo’s Taekwondo studio in Sunnyside, Queens. During a two-month period starting in August 2019, Quinchi had repeated sexual contact with the victim which escalated to sexual intercourse. The teacher turned himself in after learning that the young girl had reported the abuse to her parents. |

After the stabbing, Camovic is seen chasing another officer, Randy Ramnarine, before rushing back toward Jean Pierre. Ramnarine fired two shots at Camovic and Jean Pierre fired six times, according to authorities. Camovic then wrestled Jean Pierre's gun away from him and fired six shots — wounding Ramnarine and another officer in the hand, authorities said. Ramnarine and a responding sergeant returned fire. JOECKS: Jacob Blake’s shooting
doesn’t fit the left’s narrative The left’s original narrative about the Jacob Blake shooting has fallen apart. On Sunday, a police officer shot Blake, who is African American, seven times. Cellphone video from the incident in Kenosha, Wisconsin, went viral. Instead of waiting for details about the tragedy, the mainstream media and Democrats assumed this was a racially motivated case of police brutality. “Video shows Wisconsin police shooting a black man multiple times,” The Washington Post headline said. Other headlines were similar. “Video shows police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, shooting black man in back,” NBC News said. “While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country,” Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, a Democrat, said. In other words, he doesn’t know what happened, but he’s happy to smear the officer as a merciless criminal. Blake survived the shooting, although his family’s attorney said he is paralyzed. Given the racially charged atmosphere involving the police and minority communities, the reaction was not unexpected. But those who rush to judgment and draw conclusions without facts risk making matters worse. “What I saw on that video makes me sick,” Joe Biden said. “Once again, a black man, Jacob Blake, has been shot by the police in broad daylight.” But the situation appears more complicated than the immediate analysis has allowed. For intance, Blake was walking away from police officers who had their guns drawn and were shouting at him. He then tried to either get in or reach into his vehicle as an officer pulled on his shirt. These aren’t good choices no matter what your skin color is. |

While Crowd Cheers Her On! According to them, BLM is only about uplifting the black community and has no ulterior motives and no radical, political agendas. A BLM activist in Portland, Oregon, one of the few cities still being ravaged by BLM riots, gave the lie to that notion during a recent speech. In a video shared Monday on Twitter, the activist, speaking through a megaphone, expressed her desire to have police officers strangled in the womb with their own umbilical cords. Her morbid, unconscionable words were met with applause. “Your mother’s umbilical cord should have wrapped around your neck and choked you just the way you choked George Floyd, you filthy animal,” she said. “Not only should that umbilical cord should have wrapped around your neck, it should not have wrapped around your neck once, it should have wrapped around your neck three, two times. … It should have wrapped around your neck so many times, to where you yelled, ‘I can not breathe,'” the woman said. The BLM speaker then told her Marxist “comrades” that she was ready and willing to shoot police officers. “You think that you’re a good person because you have a gun. My comrades already know, I tell them every Thursday right there in their face, ‘I know you got a gun, but so do I,'” she said. “Go ahead and shoot me, I’m a shoot back. Am I lying, my comrades? You shoot me I’m going to shoot you back.” The clip ends with the activist proclaiming that cops should be hung and electrocuted. |

After Police Say Murder Suspect
Killed Himself On Nicollet Mall MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Hostile crowds gathered in downtown Minneapolis late Wednesday night after police say a BLACK man wanted in connection with a homicide killed himself as officers approached him on Nicollet Mall. An immediate curfew was instituted at about 9:30 p.m. by Mayor Jacob Frey, and about 90 minutes later Gov. Tim Walz declared a peacetime emergency and deployed the Minnesota National Guard. This move comes about three months after Gov. Walz’s historic mobilization of more that 5,000 guards members to assist during the unrest that immediately followed the death of George Floyd in late May. The male suspect was later tracked down by police just after 6 p.m. on the 800 block of Nicollet Mall. Police released surveillance video that shows the man shooting himself and falling to the sidewalk just seconds before officers reached him. A large crowd began to gather near the scene within the hour, and some began to break windows at nearby businesses. |

Man accused of firing gun near
Trump supporters gathering in Fort
Mill FORT MILL, S.C. (WBTV) -”It’s sickening. It’s absolutely sickening,” says Matthew Ostrowski, one of the supporters on the bridge. A Charlotte man was arrested in Fort Mill Monday after police say he fired several shots from a vehicle near a political gathering. The incident happened around 6:50 p.m. in the area of I-77 and Sutton Road. Members of the group, a local organization for women, say they were holding signs on the side of the road in support of President Donald Trump. Officers say several people from the group told them three males “drove by more than once, making derogatory remarks and yelling obscenities at them from their vehicle.” The victims said as the vehicle turned from Sutton Rd on to the ramp to northbound I-77, the driver of the vehicle kept yelling, then put his arm out the window while holding what appeared to be a handgun. They heard several shots being fired as the vehicle proceeded northbound on the interstate. ”All of a sudden you know bang bang bang bang bang bang bang” says Ostrowski. After further investigation, and with evidence recovered, police say two of the males were released without charges. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Marquise Damarius Asomani of Charlotte, was taken into custody. Asomani is charged with six counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and one count each of unlawful carrying of a pistol, pointing and presenting firearms at a person and possession of a firearm during a violent crime. - (Black-on-White) |

Austin
police identify (black)
suspect who shot at
officers, fled scene on Manor Road AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department says two officers were involved in a shooting with a man while trying to serve a warrant Tuesday in the 6100 block of Manor Road. Chief Brian Manley gave an update on findings from the preliminary investigation Tuesday afternoon. He said shortly after 10 a.m., Lone Star Fugitive Task Force members were trying to serve a federal warrant for arrest at an apartment complex located at 6103 Manor Road. The warrant was for a probation violation for carrying a prohibited weapon. Manley said after some time, the task force found the suspect, identified as Deonte Rogers, in the complex courtyard. As members closed in, he said Rogers allegedly ran from them along with another person. He reportedly ran around the complex going east toward the woods. As officers rounded the same corner, that’s when Rogers fired shots at both officers and task force members, according to Manley. Two officers returned fire, Manley said, as Rogers reportedly fled. It’s not known if he was hit by any of the shots, but he got away after jumping a fence and disappearing into the woods. Residents can leave their homes now, but Manley said he still wants them to be on the lookout for Rogers. He is described as a black man with dreads, around 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds. He’s in his early 30s and was last seen wearing a dark shirt with a design on the front and gray shorts that were below his knees. Manley said the person Rogers allegedly fled the scene with is described as a black man wearing a black tank top and shorts. |

NIGERIAN guard to abuse female
inmates for a decade, suit claims Supervisors at the troubled Lower Manhattan jail where Jeffrey Epstein killed himself last year let a “predator” correction officer sexually abuse at least a dozen women who were locked up at the facility, a new lawsuit claims. The suit, filed Wednesday in Manhattan federal court by three victims of correction officer Colin Akparanta, alleges that higher-ups at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, including former warden Lamine N’Diaye, knew about the abuse but let it continue for more than a decade. Akparanta pleaded guilty to sexually abusing seven female inmates in March after he was hit with a nine-count indictment that alleged he smuggled contraband — including personal hygiene items, makeup and food — into the jail as a means to coerce his victims into keeping quiet and cooperating with the abuse. |

Woman admits trying to join
al-Qaida, setting fires at St.
Catherine University in St. Paul A 22-year-old Minneapolis woman who failed in her bid to join al-Qaida and subsequently tried to set a series of fires at St. Catherine University in St. Paul in 2018 pleaded guilty Wednesday to federal terrorism charges. Tnuza Jamal Hassan admitted to one count of attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization at her former school’s campus. Hassan also faces arson charges in Ramsey County in connection with trying to set fires in six buildings on the campus. Hassan admitted setting the fires months after she tried to fly to Afghanistan to join al-Qaida. According to Hassan’s plea agreement, when she was a freshman at St. Kate’s she drafted an anonymous recruitment letter that encouraged others to join the terrorist group and delivered it to two other Muslim students at the university. In September 2017, she bought a round-trip ticket without her family’s knowledge from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to Dubai and another ticket from Dubai to Kabul, Afghanistan. She said Wednesday that she had no plans to return to the United States but instead wanted to join al-Qaida in Afghanistan. However, she was stopped from continuing on to Afghanistan because she was not aware that she needed a visa to enter that country. At a December 2019 hearing, a forensic psychologist told the court that she upgraded Hassan’s diagnosis from schizophrenia to a “mood disorder with a psychotic component” after earlier symptoms disappeared under medical observation and despite Hassan declining medication. |

Kenosha mattress store KENOSHA, Wis. - A man was injured after attempting to protect a Kenosha mattress store before it burned down during violent protests Monday night, Aug. 24, a day after the police shooting of Jacob Blake. The man in his 70s was hurt while trying to stop people from burning the building down, but fire leveled the building and the longtime owners are angry and emotional. Pamela Moniz and her husband, Keith McCoy, watched as the building burned. "Is there words for it?" asked Keith. "The picture should say it all." The couple said their co-worker attempted to protect the building. "He was trying to chase them off with a fire extinguisher," said Pamela. Moniz said the man was assaulted in the process. "They broke his jaw," she said. "Lacerations to his head." The couple said their co-worker will recover, just as they plan to in these times of tension. "I can't wrap my head around the scene right now," said Pamela. "I don't think anyone from Kenosha was responsible for this." The man being attacked was caught on camera. FOX6 News reached out to Kenosha police for information on arrests and the investigation, but haven't heard back. The mattress store owners said they want to open up again in another part of town. Kenosha fire officials said 37 fires, combined with "emergency medical services for numerous accidents, assaults and injuries with traumas of varying degrees, including a shooting" were "resource-intensive." A police officer was hit with a mortar round and some firefighters were treated for dehydration and over-exertion. There were multiple calls for traumatic injuries and multiple civilians with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. |

dashcam video shows intense
shoot-out in Prince George's
County PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) — The Prince George's County Police Department has released dashcam video showing part of an intense shootout that injured three police officers on Sunday night. Investigators say officers rushed to a townhome on Capital View Terrace in Landover in response to a 911 call about a home invasion and robbery. According to court documents, the female caller stated someone was in her house, and dispatchers could hear a male voice in the background asking for money. The footage made public on Monday shows the first responding officer pull up to the scene in his patrol car at about 6:35 p.m. Sunday. "He observed a vehicle parked on the right side of the road, and two individuals walking toward it. At that point, the officer exited his vehicle and engaged those individuals in conversation," Interim Police Chief Hector Velez said on Monday. "Immediately upon engaging them in conversation, those two individuals opened fire at our police officer. Our police officer managed to duck down behind the door, but unfortunately, he was shot three times." Velez said the officer was shot in the right leg, the chest, and the right arm. That officer returned fire, but police said neither of the suspects were struck. Then as the suspects drove away, investigators say they shot and injured two more officers before crashing their car into a tree on Capital View Terrace. Authorities said Monday that 45-year-old Andre Larnell Smith and 27-year-old Steven Maurice Warren were taken into custody following the crash. |

On Phone With Son ‘I Killed Your Mother And Grandmother’ NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. (CBS) — A man has admitted to killing his own mother and wife inside the family’s Newtown Square home. Details were quiet about the double homicide case until now. What set the investigation into motion were frantic phone calls from the couple’s son and daughter who were vacationing in the Poconos. When Newtown Township Police arrived at 44 Rockwood Road, they found a man named Iqbal Singh at the door, covered in blood. [Iqbal] - from PAKISTAN [Singh] - from INDIA “Next thing you know, they were bringing a man out, handcuffing him, and he was covered with blood on his chest,” neighbor Sue Davison said. Once police got inside, the body of Nasib Kaur was found on the floor of a downstairs bedroom, surrounded by a pool of blood. Her throat was slit — court papers say she was “obviously deceased.” A second woman, Jaspal Kaur, was also dead in an upstairs bathroom. Her throat was slit, too. Singh made a suicide attempt after allegedly confessing to police he had killed his own mother and wife, according to court documents. A chilling phone call between Singh and his son brought the responding officers, with Singh saying: “I killed both of them. I killed your mother and grandmother. Call the police to come get me.” “He then talked to his daughter, who was with her brother and told her the same story. That’s when law enforcement was contacted, they arrived and they found Mr. Singh covered in blood, injured. But they also found the two deceased individuals in the home,” Stollsteimer said. Neighbors say the now-accused killer was well known. The taxicab driver was often seen walking and meditating in the quiet Newtown Square neighborhood. But they say something seemed off a day before the killings. “He didn’t seem to be his usual self. When he was doing his prayers, I just kind of sensed that he was maybe a little bit off or agitated about something,” Davison said. |

He told students and their parents he was a former teacher, Bertagna said. Bailey is not affiliated with the Santa Ana Unified School District. Police were working to determine whether he taught anywhere else, Bertagna said. The suspect has been released from custody after posting $100,000 bail. |

(black) suspect arrested in 1996
killing of (White) pregnant woman
in Las Vegas A second man arrested in the killing of a pregnant woman in 1996 has a history of shootings and armed robberies, according to court records. Kareem Brock, 45, who was arrested Thursday, is charged with open murder, manslaughter by killing an unborn quick child, robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary while in possession of a gun and conspiracy to commit robbery. State law defines the charge of “killing of unborn quick child” as a killing “by any injury committed upon the mother of the child.” Sara Keynejad, 19, was six months’ pregnant with a boy she planned to name Tyler Matthew when she was shot on Valentine’s Day in 1996 while waiting for her husband to get off work at the 7-Eleven at 3501 E. Bonanza Road, according to Review-Journal reports at the time. Brock and alleged co-conspirator Anthony Williams, 48, who was arrested this month on the same charges, are accused of entering the convenience store and shooting Keynejad before making off with $50, according to Review-Journal reports. Williams and Brock both had rap sheets in Las Vegas dating to 1991, when they were 19 and 16, respectively. Brock served five years in Clark County Detention Center after he was convicted in District Court in 1991 of one count of felony robbery with a deadly weapon, according to court records. Brock was also found guilty on two counts of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and served two years after police found a 23-year-old man suffering from three gunshot wounds to the back on May 8, 1996, according to court records. The 23-year-old told Las Vegas police that Brock approached and was about to rob him so the man ran away. When police later attempted to pull over the car Brock had been driving at the time of the shooting, he and two other men in the car began firing at officers, according to the police report attached to the 1996 case file. In August of the same year, Brock was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder, eight counts of attempted murder and 10 charges of a felony committed to promote activities of a criminal gang, but the charges were all dropped and the case never went to trial. It is unclear how police tied Williams and Brock to the killing of Keynejad, but the two were charged July 23, according to Las Vegas Justice Court records. Brock is being held without bail and is expected in court Monday. Williams’ preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 2. - (Black-on-White) |

He spent two weeks there before being released, according to the last update on a GoFundMe fundraising page set up to help cover his medical costs. officials denounce “anarchists”
who damaged property, set fires
during anti-police demonstration
Citing damage to Quiznos, Gov. Jared Polis calls demonstrators’ actions “criminal terrorism” City and state officials on Sunday decried the actions of about 75 people who started fires, broke windows, injured a police officer and damaged property Saturday night during an “Abolish the Police” protest outside the Denver Police Department’s headquarters. The group members were not protesters but rioters and anarchists, city officials said at a news conference, vowing to bring down the full force of the law against the demonstrators and to stop any similar future actions. “What we experienced last night was not a protest, it was anarchy,” Denver Director of Safety Murphy Robinson said. “The people who showed up last night — the anarchists who showed up last night — brought weapons to the table. They had guns, they brought explosives, axes, machetes. And they had one intended purpose: to harm our officers.” In a tweet, Gov. Jared Polis called the demonstrators’ actions — and in particular windows broken at a Quiznos restaurant during the demonstration — “criminal terrorism.” |

PORTLAND, Ore. – A police precinct was set on fire during a protest in Portland, Oregon, prompting authorities to declare a riot and deploy tear gas to disperse the demonstrators. The fire burned an awning at the north precinct late Sunday, news outlets reported. Police ordered demonstrators to clear the area, saying that rocks and glass bottles had been thrown at officers, as well as lasers pointed their direction. An unlawful assembly had been declared before the gathering was deemed a riot. The tear gas was deployed after the fire had been set, according to news outlets. Protesters had marched to the precinct from a park, chanting several things including “Jacob Blake,” who Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers identified as the man shot by a police officer in Kenosha on Sunday. Authorities in Wisconsin had not confirmed the person’s name. |
