second man arrested in the killing of
a pregnant woman in 1996 has a history
of shootings and armed robberies,
according to court records.Kareem Brock, 45, who was arrested Thursday, is charged with open murder, manslaughter by killing an unborn quick child, robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary while in possession of a gun and conspiracy to commit robbery. State law defines the charge of “killing of unborn quick child” as a killing “by any injury committed upon the mother of the child.” Sara Keynejad, 19, was six months’ pregnant with a boy she planned to name Tyler Matthew when she was shot on Valentine’s Day in 1996 while waiting for her husband to get off work at the 7-Eleven at 3501 E. Bonanza Road, according to Review-Journal reports at the time. Brock and alleged co-conspirator Anthony Williams, 48, who was arrested this month on the same charges, are accused of entering the convenience store and shooting Keynejad before making off with $50, according to Review-Journal reports. Williams and Brock both had rap sheets in Las Vegas dating to 1991, when they were 19 and 16, respectively. Brock served five years in Clark County Detention Center after he was convicted in District Court in 1991 of one count of felony robbery with a deadly weapon, according to court records. Brock was also found guilty on two counts of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and served two years after police found a 23-year-old man suffering from three gunshot wounds to the back on May 8, 1996, according to court records. The 23-year-old told Las Vegas police that Brock approached and was about to rob him so the man ran away. When police later attempted to pull over the car Brock had been driving at the time of the shooting, he and two other men in the car began firing at officers, according to the police report attached to the 1996 case file. In August of the same year, Brock was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder, eight counts of attempted murder and 10 charges of a felony committed to promote activities of a criminal gang, but the charges were all dropped and the case never went to trial. It is unclear how police tied Williams and Brock to the killing of Keynejad, but the two were charged July 23, according to Las Vegas Justice Court records. Brock is being held without bail and is expected in court Monday. Williams’ preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 2. - (Black-on-White) |

Smith-Erving is the registered owner of a silver Mercedes-Benz C320 with Tennessee tag 2U97Y6. The car left the immediate area at the time of the fatal shooting. "GROSS!!!"The girl’s mother, who wishes to remain anonymous, says they were staying in the hotel having come from out of town so her son, the girl’s brother, can get treatment at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. “We went there to stay and have a nice evening, and now my daughter is traumatized,” the mother said Tuesday. The incident occurred Sunday in a Sharonville hotel. Police say Mickens was arrested after the girl said he touched her inappropriately. The girl’s mother explains she left the pool area Sunday evening to go change. |

Lopez had been beaten and repeatedly kicked, even after handing over his wallet to the assailant, family members said. He was alone, bleeding on the floor, when someone else entered the restroom and found him. The victim had suffered multiple broken ribs and facial injuries and was treated in the intensive care unit of Antelope Valley Hospital. He spent two weeks there before being released, according to the last update on a GoFundMe fundraising page set up to help cover his medical costs. Lopez was taken back to the hospital, where he died around 5 a.m. Wednesday. |

Lakewood home late Wednesday. Domonique "Demonic" Moore was taken into custody early Thursday morning after a more than five hour standoff with police. Lakewood police said (black) Moore is the husband of Dr. Craig Cullen-Terzano’s granddaughter and they all lived together in a home in the 14600 block of Clifton Blvd. Police were called to the home around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday for a welfare check. When officers arrived, they found the doctor’s body lying in front of the home. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner said Cullen-Terzano died of multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, Moore was inside the home and refused to come outside. Members of the Westshore Enforcement Bureau S.W.A.T. Team were also brought to the home and Moore was taken into custody around 5 a.m. Thursday, said police. Moore is charged with murder and remains behind bars. - (Black-on-White) |

reason, walked up to a homeless man
and kicked and beat the man.The victim, Tim Richardson, talked to KESQ News Channel 3 about the attack. We asked him why he thought the man attacked him. “I have no idea,” said Richardson. We asked Richardson if he had done anything to the suspect to prompt the attack. “No, I never saw him before.” said Richardson. Richardson has lived on the streets of Twentynine Palms for one year. He was not seriously injured in the attack, which happened Monday night, just before 7:30. It happened behind the 7-11 store on Twentynine Palms Highway. The suspect, at the time was wearing a white T-shirt, blue pants and dark colored shoes with white soles. He quickly got back into the car, which then pulled away from the scene. “How is it that someone can be so heartless to see somebody who is very unfortunate and down on their luck and just pick them out of nobody and attack them that way?”, said Erick Turner, a friend of Richardson’s. Wednesday morning, Richardson provided details of the attack to a detective from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. People with spoke with who say they know Tim say he is a nice man who does not panhandle. In fact, they saw he helps businesses in the area by sweeping their sidewalks and parking lots. Richardson’s friends who gathered near the convenience store are angered and want the attacker to face justice. “Tim is just a super nice guy. He never did anything to anybody. He keeps the area clean and he keeps the town clean,” said Derrick Seymour. suffered on Thursday.Barnette's remarks came during a bond hearing for the supect: James Cunningham, 23, of Woodruff. The solicitor played a video of the attack, which happened while the officer was standing near the self checkout area of the Dorman Center Walmart. The video shows a man sprint toward the officer and began wailing the policeman with punches and blows. Barnette said Cunningham also had a knife in his hand when he charged at the officer. Spartanburg police said off-duty officer was taken to the hospital after being attacked. The officer was working in the store as a security guard when the attack happened at the store around 1:30 p.m. Cunningham is also accused of trying to unholster the officer's weapon during the assault. Employees and shoppers were able to pull Cunningham away from the officer and Cunningham fled the store. During Cunningham's bond hearing on Friday, Barnette revealed that Cunningham was out on bond at the time of the attack for another assault case. The victim in that was was a worker at the McDonald's in Duncan. A SLED criminal history report revealed Cunningham has previously been charged with a list of violent offenses, including felony and misdemeanor assault and battery charges, and an attempted murder charge from 2017 that resulted in a non-conviction. - (Black-on-White) |

child was arrested Wednesday in
Boulder, released on bail, and

new charges, according to the Boulder
Police Department (BPD).Kellen David Steckler, 20, was arrested the first time Wednesday on felony warrants out of North Carolina, BPD said in a press release. BPD and the U.S. Marshals Service learned that Steckler had ties to Boulder and took him into custody on warrants for indecent liberties with a child, soliciting a child by computer and disseminating obscenity to a minor under the age of 13. Steckler was booked into the Boulder County jail on the North Carolina warrants. After a court appearance, he received a personal recognizance bond and was released from jail, the release says. BPD detectives executed search warrants on Steckler's electronic devices, which included several phones and a computer, and found photos of video files that were identified as child sexual exploitation material, according to BPD. Detectives arrested Steckler again late Friday on suspicion of two new counts of sexual exploitation of a child. He was booked back into the jail, this time with no bail, police said. Because of the "ongoing threat he posed to the community following his initial speedy release from jail," BPD, the Boulder County Computer Forensics Lab and the Boulder County District Attorney's Office worked together to re-arrest Steckler on the new counts, according to the release. |

in June.60-year-old Tony Lorenzo Walker lives on Dwight near Acton Street, not far from where the student was shot June 15 on one of his regular nighttime strolls. Nineteen-year-old Seth Smith was walking on Dwight near Valley Street, which runs just parallel to Acton, when a stranger approached him at about 11:30 p.m. and shot him at close range in the back of the head, according to authorities. Police found no evidence of a robbery attempt or any other crime. Berkeley police arrested Walker on Thursday at 1:20 p.m., according to Alameda County jail booking records. He was arrested on suspicion of murder. There is no evidence that Smith knew Walker before the fatal shooting. Just last year, Police arrested Walker for trying to break into a fenake neighbor’s place. Walker was on felony probation at the time of the 2019 break-in attempt, Walker was placed on probation after a felony gun arrest in South Berkeley in 2016. The shooter came from behind the truck to the driver’s side and fired, Sherman said. Besides being condemned, Melton’s house is the target of foreclosure by the Richmond County tax commissioner for not paying property taxes for several years. Veronica Baker. The
youngest was charged with her murder.Police said Devin Cordell Jones, 17, was accused of killing Baker Saturday night at a Bojangles on Jones Sausage Road in Raleigh. Three others — Keyshara Michelle Deans, 19, Nezyiha Zamir Collins, 19, and Tyreek Qumay Rogers, 18 — were charged with felony accessory for helping Jones after Baker's death. According to arrest warrants, Deans drove Jones away from the scene, and Collins and Rogers fled the state with Jones in an attempt to avoid arrest. All were arrested Tuesday evening. Deans, Collins and Rogers appeared in court Wednesday afternoon. Jones did not appear in court because he is a minor. Deans also faced charges in an unrelated case — financial card fraud, financial card theft and conspiracy to commit the fraud. According to warrants, that conspiracy also involved Devin Jones, the man accused of killing Baker. Baker's parents have said they believe she was robbed. They said Baker was carrying a $600 Gucci purse when she was murdered. Jim Baker, the victim's father, told WRAL News that his daughter knew her alleged killer and that the two went to school together. He believes that is why his daughter would have let the suspect into her car. He also said Baker hung out with “good and bad crowds.” He explained Baker had never been in trouble before, but was a teenager and sometimes made poor decisions. He didn’t go into specifics about those troubles. He said a video Baker posted on Facebook holding a wad of cash was taken at the family home, and his daughter was holding money he used to buy a car and was taken inside their home. “She didn’t deserve to get shot and killed and left in a parking lot," Jim Baker told WRAL on Monday. Police said Beckford, of Newark, New Jersey, blew a red light in a stolen Lexus SUV before ramming into a Ford SUV with Dahlstrom and another occupant inside. The alleged carjacker totaled the Ford before crashing the stolen Lexus into a tree and fleeing on foot. saying was an attempted murder-suicide
early Monday morning in Worcester.Authorities were called a Huntington Avenue home around 12:55 a.m. on a report of two people shot. Police believe the man shot his girlfriend first, and then shot himself, (Hmmmmm, that would sort of fit the description of the 'murder suicide' narrative.) The man was pronounced dead on scene. The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. As of Tuesday afternoon, police didn’t have an update on her condition.
The man was identified as Trey Mahone by a friend. Mahone had reportedly started living with his girlfriend after she moved to the Huntington Avenue home a few months ago. (Parasitic nword sponger) Over the last few years, Mahone has faced 13 charges, including an assault and battery charge from January. He had been ordered to wear a GPS bracelet, according to Boston 25. He was a father of five ("five" What?, I wonder...) and worked in construction. complaint.Last Saturday police were notified of a reported sexual assault that had taken place the night before. Officers met with the woman and her sister, who reported the incident, according to the complaint. The woman is a “reported vulnerable adult due to a number of physical infirmities,” according to the complaint. The woman said Cook came over to her residence on Friday, and after working for several hours, Cook asked to stay the night because there was a storm, according to the complaint. The woman was apprehensive at first, but agreed, assuming Cook would sleep on the couch, the complaint said. Later that night, the two had a beer, and Cook also drank gin and smoked marijuana, the complaint said. When the woman was later in her bedroom getting ready for bed, Cook entered the room and asked to see the woman’s breasts, according to the complaint. Cook then proceeded to try to sexually penetrate the woman, the complaint said. The woman said she repeatedly told Cook “no” and that due to prior surgeries, having sex would cause her injuries and she would need to go to the hospital, the complaint said. Cook ignored the woman’s pleas and continued to assault her, the complaint said. He then fell asleep and left the next morning, according to the complaint. Cook was later brought to the St. Paul Police Department to be interviewed. Cook confirmed that he was a personal care attendant for the woman and said that he and the woman had “a little thing going on,” the complaint said. Cook said he spent the night at the woman’s residence after he finished working and that the two engaged in consensual sexual acts, but that he did not penetrate her, the complaint said. |

is behind bars after police said he raped
a 13-year-old girl.Patrick Bigsby, 21, is accused of going to the child's house on June 24 at 1 a.m. and raping and sodomizing her, according to an arrest warrant. Police said the two met on Snapchat. The girl said on June 24 Bigsby contacted her via Facetime and asked to see her. A short time later he arrived at her residence which is when the rape and sodomy occurred. When the girl's parents learned of the events, they applied for an Emergency Protective Order against Bigsby. Bigsby admitted during the EPO court hearing to having consensual intercourse with the girl but claimed she had told him she was 18. Covington Police downloaded the contents of his phone which included text messages and Snapchat communications between the two. Not only did the girl tell Bigsby she was 13 but he lied to her about his age, saying he was only 16. Police also found messages from Bigsby to the child describing his erection and sex acts he wished to engage in with her. Police obtained records from Sprint confirming the number communicating with the child was associated with a cell phone account billed to Bigsby. Bigsby is being held on $25,000 bail. |

to residents of the Near North Side.The man, thought to be in his early 30s, has approached people in the area, exposed himself, masturbated and said he is looking for a woman to have sex with, Chicago police said. The suspect has behaved this way on numerous other occasions in alleys near the first block of West Goethe Street, as well as in the area of Clark and Division avenues, police said. Police described the suspect as a 6-foot tall shirtless man with short, black hair, long, gray cargo shorts, an orange backpack that says “caviar” in white letters, and black gym shoes with white bottoms. been charged with spying for China,
including by disclosing tradecraft and
information on sources to Chinese
intelligence officers who had co-opted
him, according to documents unsealed
Monday.Alexander Yuk Ching Ma, 67, was arrested last week after an undercover operation in which prosecutors say he accepted thousands of dollars in cash in exchange for his past espionage activities. He told a law enforcement officer who was posing as a Chinese intelligence officer that he wanted to see the “motherland” succeed and that he was eager to resume helping China after the coronavirus pandemic subsided, prosecutors said. “The trail of Chinese espionage is long and, sadly, strewn with former American intelligence officers who betrayed their colleagues, their country and its liberal democratic values to support an authoritarian communist regime,” Assistant Attorney John Demers, the Justice Department’s top national security official, said in a statement. An FBI affidavit accuses Ma, who worked for the CIA from 1982 to 1989, of revealing government secrets to at least five Chinese intelligence officers in a Hong Kong hotel room over a three-day period in March 2001. Those secrets included information about CIA sources and assets, international operations, secure communication practices practices and operational tradecraft. Prosecutors say Ma’s meeting with the Chinese officers included a relative and fellow CIA employee who was not named in court documents and who is not being charged because, officials say, the now 85-year-old suffers from advanced and debilitating cognitive diseases. A video recording of the hotel meeting shows the men receiving payments of $50,000 for the information they provided, the authorities said. Ma remained in touch with the Chinese intelligence officers after he joined the FBI as a contract linguist in 2004, at which point he used his work computer to copy images of documents related to missiles and weapon system technology research. |

Fla. – A 33-year-old man was arrested
on murder charges in connection with
the death of an attorney who was found
dead inside her Delaney Park
neighborhood home in Orlando.Police said Erin Hartigan, 44, an Orange County government attorney who previously worked for the city of Orlando, was found slain Sunday after 4 a.m. inside a home in the 300 block of Jasmine Avenue. Police said Hartigan’s mother called 911 and said her daughter had been attacked inside their home. Hartigan was dead and had multiple stab wounds when officers arrived at the home, according to police. William Franklin, who police said was found hiding nearby in Lake Lurna, was arrested on charges of first-degree murder and burglary with a battery. Detectives said Franklin had been reported missing from Orlando Health Regional Medical Center Sunday before he allegedly stabbed Hartigan. Police could not disclose why Hartigan was at the hospital but he was last seen at ORMC around 2 a.m. ORMC is about .4 miles from Hartigan’s residence. At this time, investigators said they cannot find a connection between Hartigan and her accused killer. Detectives said Hartigan’s home was likely chosen at random. Police said several items of evidence were discovered in the blocks surrounding the crime scene, including two bloody kitchen knives. A third knife was found near the victim’s body, according to the report. According to the arrest report, Hartigan’s mother was home at the time of the attack and awoke to the sounds of a struggle. She told investigators she did not recognize the voice of the man involved. “Ms. Hartigan got out of bed and opened her door at which time she saw Erin lying on the floor. She saw an individual standing over her,” the report states. “Once she opened the door, the individual stood up, turned away from her and walked down the hallway.” Hartigan’s mother then called 911. Neighbors on East Miller Street alerted police officers searching the area of surveillance video that showed Franklin behind their home. When officers found Franklin he was wet and told officers he had been swimming in the lake, according to the arrest affidavit. Franklin was not wearing pants, only boxer shorts and a shirt, according to the report. Detectives who spoke with Franklin said he told them he does not remember what happened. Franklin told detectives that while he was at Orlando health he was “given some type of drug which caused him to lose his memory.” He said he could not recall what he had done from the time he left ORMC to the time he was found by police at Lake Lurna, according to the report. Throughout the interview with detectives, Franklin repeatedly said he could not recall exactly what happened after he left the hospital and he could not remember killing anyone, the report shows. - (Black-on-White) |

the arrest of a suspect in connection
with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old
outside of a Safeway supermarket where
he worked. Christopher “Roly” Young, 23 years old, from Martinez, was taken into custody on suspicion of killing Nathan Gabriel Garza, 18, from Fairfield on Sunday about noon in the Safeway parking lot American Canyon, the sheriff's department said in a release. No motive was given. Law enforcement did not say whether the two knew each other or not. Sheriff's deputies said they tracked Young down after they were tipped off to white-colored Cadillac sedan with a partial California license plate of “7NP” seen fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed. Deputies found that Cadillac, which they say was used in the shooting, parked on Cattail Drive in American Canyon. Residential surveillance video showed man matching the description of Young parking and exiting the vehicle within minutes of the shooting and hopping over fences in people's backyards. He then ran away but was eventually caught, deputies said. Officers searched the Cadillac and found a .45 caliber handgun, the same caliber handgun used in the Safeway shooting, deputies said. authorities Monday morning.The man was identified as 26-year-old Joseph Desean Taylor. Taylor and his mother came outside of the home Monday morning, with Taylor peacefully turning himself over to police. He had previously released his brother and sister during negotiations after barricading himself inside. According to police, the incident began Sunday after Taylor's mother called to report that he had kicked in their door and was being aggressive. Responding Cedar Park police officers were met with gunfire, injuring three of them, and setting off the hours-long standoff.... the third underwent surgery. After barricading himself and the family inside, Taylor went on Facebook Live for about an hour. Officials said this is not the first time they have responded to the residence. In September 2019, court records indicate police were called to the home due to Taylor attacking and choking his teen brother after an argument. His mother reported that it took her and her two adult daughters to pull Taylor off the boy. Taylor's mother said at the time he has been diagnosed with a mental health condition but refused to take medication for it. Police reported that during this incident, his sister threatened to call the police. She said he responded with threatening to kill her son. Last year, Taylor's mother reported that she owns a gun for personal protection and had hidden it from him due to his behavior. However, she said he found it and bought ammunition for it, telling her that he needed it now to protect himself from people trying to "get him." She also said that Taylor called out-of-state relatives, threatening her own life and the lives of other family members. One relative, identified as Taylor's grandmother, spoke to police, reporting that he called her twice stating he was going to "take down" his mother and other family members and that she needed to prepare for sad news. |

She was able to give officers a description of the suspect and his SUV. The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Donald Hamilton, was arrested in the area of I-10 and Foster Road. He denied the child's allegations, but officers moved forward to charge him with aggravated sexual assault of a child. |

The suspect allegedly ran into the street, holding his waistband while fleeing, and removed a firearm from his waistband, according to police. A department statement says an officer saw the gun and “fearing for both his and the public’s safety, the officer fired his weapon twice, striking the suspect at least once in the upper torso.” McClain was transported from the scene to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The unidentified driver eventually sped off, with the mob chasing him — with some heard loudly laughing when he crashed into a tree and then a building, according to the clips. He was dragged from the truck and tackled to the ground as he begged for help — getting repeatedly punched as he tried to call his wife while pleading with his attackers as he sat on the ground, the videos show. “I ain’t tryna hurt no one,” he told them, with the only unexplained accusation heard in the clips being that “COVID is real.” “I was trying to get out the way,” he insisted of crashing his truck, as several of the group punched him in the face and repeatedly called the white driver the N-word. As the mob dispersed to watch another fight, the main offender circled back around — kicking the defenseless driver in the face from behind, instantly knocking him out with his head cracking on the road. “What the f–k is you talkin’ about n—er!” the attacker — wearing a shirt with “SECURITY” on the front and back — screamed after the thud of his victim’s head hitting the ground. The victim was then shown bleeding from a large wound in the back of his head as he appeared unconscious throughout another almost 2½-minute clip. The woman was shown sobbing nearby as the mob held her back and appeared to rifle through his truck. “Black live matter, n—er!” one man continually ranted as other people checked the victim was still alive. Even as he remained unconscious, a woman was heard taunting him, “Get your b-tch ass up!” Police in riot gear had to assist ambulance crews helping him as they were confronted by “a hostile crowd,” Portland police said in a release. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, police said. “The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made,” the force said. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The incident came days after Seattle BLM terrorists marched through gentrified neighborhoods and demanded white people give up their homes. Tennessee, after turning himself into

Department early Saturday morning.
According to authorities, the
Sheriff’s Office will begin the
process of extraditing Stone back to
Kentucky this week.The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office previously confirmed that a woman died and a child was taken to the hospital after a shooting that happened at the Earlington Ideal Market. The Sheriff’s Office has identified the shooting victim as 30-year-old Nicole Merrell of Madisonville. Hopkins County Sheriff Matt Sanderson said the toddler-aged child was hospitalized for gunshot wounds but is expected to fully recover. Meanwhile, the Sheriff confirmed the alleged shooter and the female victim have children together. 14 News spoke with a woman who says Stone and Merrell have a daughter. Sunday.Shanon Demar Ryan, 38, was being held in a Broward County, Florida jail without bond following his arrest by federal agents on Saturday, The South Florida Sun Sentinel reported. Ryan — who calls himself a witch, spiritual adviser, teacher and CEO on his Facebook — posted a video stating that he was at the center of the missing mom case. “Why is it you have a missing woman, and the last person that’s seen her, which is me, who talked to the police, you ain’t heard nothing about me,” Ryan said in the clip, according to 7News. Cavett, 21, was last seen on July 25 in Hollywood, Florida — and her 2-year-old son was found the next day, wandering alone in Miramar, about two miles away. In the video, Ryan claimed he had known Cavett for about a year, and even took her and her child in at one point when they had nowhere to go. More recently, Ryan said he and the young mom reconnected and met up at a parking lot in Hollywood the day she vanished. They then stopped at a nearby RaceTrac gas station and spent the rest of the day eating out and at the beach. Hours later, they returned to the same gas station, where, Ryan claims, Cavett and her toddler got into a car with some men. “It’s some guys in a car that she talking to. Leila got her and her son and got in the car with those guys,” he said. Ryan said cops searched his car and interviewed him and that “I gave the police everything that I know. Everything.” He has been charged with two counts of lying to a federal officer. |

rang out and shoppers began running
for their lives.Pembroke Pines Police Department said that on Friday at 2:14 p.m., two men approached Elite Fine Jewelry inside the mall. While inside, one of the suspects began to smash the glass displays while another suspect began to grab jewelry out of the cases. That's when a store employee, who had a concealed weapon, began shooting at the men. The suspects have been identified as Marquise Jamaal Wiley, 31, and Markess Sherman, 32, both of Miami Gardens. Gabriela Arraiz, who works at Charmed Jewelry, a kiosk inside the mall told Local 10: ”The guy that works here, he tells me just run, run. We started running. There was people that fell down and it was crazy.” It was chaos and craziness, people were screaming, Arraiz said. One woman, who ran out of the mall, said she heard four shots. Another woman said there were kids that didn’t know where to go. An employee Local 10 spoke with said she is still traumatized from the experience. Pembroke Pines Police Captain Eric Abrahamson described what happened: “One of the adult male suspects began to smash out glass cases, the other male began to retrieve items from within the glass case of the business. At that time, an adult male, an employee of the victim business, withdrew a firearm and began firing at the suspects.” Wiley and Sherman were shot. They were loaded onto stretchers after fire rescue responded and taken to a nearby hospital. No one else was hurt during the incident. The suspects remain hospitalized in stable condition and in police custody. Pembroke Pines police said the pair will be charged with armed robbery. The store employee who shot the robbery suspects has not been criminally charged at this time, according to Pembroke Pines police, who also told Local 10 their name has not been released due to the “investigation being considered active.” |
