He waited outside the home of a stranger. He watched as 60-year-old John Letourneau turned off the television and went to bed. He then entered Letourneau's home, and shot him twice as he slept. He went downstairs, ate pizza and cake from Letourneau's kitchen, poured flammable liquid on Letourneau's body and lit him on fire. The morning of April 8, 2018, emergency crews arrived to a family's home in ruins. Tenn. - An arrest has been made after a University of Memphis
graduate was killed in East Memphis.DeMarcus Wooten, 19, has been arrested in relation to the case. Wooten has been charged with first-degree murder. Memphis police identified the man found dead as Casey Tinker, 26. Investigators found Tinker found dead inside a wrecked vehicle in the 3800 block of Maid Marian. Tinker was still slumped over the wheel of his vehicle when police arrived on the scene. The shooting happened in the Sherwood Forrest neighborhood of East Memphis. Police said Wooten and two others were driving a stolen vehicle when he stopped near the 1100 block of Goodman. Wooten and another man exited the vehicle and attempted to rob Tinker. A witness said Tinker attempted to fight back, but that's when Wooten shot Tinker twice while inside his car, according to police. Then on September 17, Robinson allegedly spoke to a 16-year-old girl doing her laundry at a laundromat on Northeast 162nd And Northeast Glisan. Court documents said he asked her age and told her he thought she was 11 or 12. Then he reportedly made a sexual comment to her and she ran out, afraid he would rape her. |

For a month after the shooting in 2017, the woman stayed at Cain's mother's house, suffering through severe headaches, dealing with memory loss and having trouble when she tried to talk. In June that year, a friend took her to the hospital. Doctors at Atlanta Medical Center found a bullet in the back of her skull, one that would have to remain there because trying to take it out could kill her, the DA's office said. |

Tenn. — A Burlington Coat Factory employee was arrested after police
say she attacked a customer and her 11-year-old son outside the
store.The victim told police it all began after she and a store employee named Jessica Morris got into an argument inside the store at 4991 Stage Road. Police say Morris got upset because her register wasn't working and took it out on the customer who asked if she should switch to another lane. The argument reportedly escalated and a manager was called in, resulting in another argument. Morris was eventually asked to leave the store and escorted out by another employee. Ten minutes later the woman and her son were walking out of the store when Morris reportedly charged the woman, starting a fight. The woman said she lost her balance and fell. That's when her son stepped in and was attacked. Police said while the boy was on the ground Morris kicked him. Customers nearby saw what was happening and jumped in to help the woman and her son. The female victim reportedly sustained several scratches and bruises during the attack while her son broke his arm. Morris was arrested on Sept. 23 and charged with assault. |

COUNTY, Ohio – Three people are charged in connection to the death
of a Columbus City Schools bus driver.The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said 54-year-old John Clinedinst was found dead on the porch of his home on Tuesday. Deputies were called to the 200 block of Darbyhurst Road just after 11 a.m. after someone called 911. Neighbors said they first thought there were new Halloween decorations on the stoop of the house, which is across the street from Carl Frye Park. The sheriff’s office said 19-year-old Tarayle Glick and 23-year-old Donte Slash are charged with aggravated murder. Abraham Shears, 52, is charged with felony conspiracy. According to a sworn affidavit filed by the sheriff’s office, deputies said Slash and Glick waited outside the home for the victim to leave at around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday. When Clinedinst came outside, Glick blinded the victim with a flashlight while Slash stabbed the victim several times, according to the affidavit. The sheriff’s office said Shears arranged for Clinedinst’s murder. According to an affidavit, he offered Slash and Glick money and travel to California in exchange for killing Clinedinst. Court documents indicate Shears once lived at the home
on Darbyhurst Road. In January, the Franklin County Prosecuting
Attorney filed a complaint against Shears. The complaint said Shears
was convicted, or pleaded guilty, to sexual conduct with a minor.
Because of his status, he could not live within 1,000 feet of a
school. It was a violation for him to live at the Darbyhurst Road
home with Prairie Lincoln Elementary nearby. The case was
dismissed August 1 as Shears moved out. Neighbors told 10TV it was

sexual assault of a child  HOUSTON
— The new details released Thursday in a deadly hit-and-run case out
of southwest Houston are just awful.According to court documents, 38-year-old Jordache Lenton ran over a homeless couple under the Sam Houston Tollway while fleeing an earlier crash. After running over the couple, Lenton allegedly got out of the car and tried to move their bodies so he could drive away. When that didn’t work, he took off running, leaving the man and woman to die. Police later in the day tracked down and arrested Lenton. He is charged with two counts of failure to stop and render aid, resulting in death. The medical examiner has released the names of the victims, identified as Michelle Beach and Eugene Stroman. Investigators said there were just four minutes that separated the first crash that Lenton sped away from and the second one that killed the couple. The people in the first crash said they confronted Lenton in a parking lot late Tuesday where he got out of his car slurring his speech and wreaking of alcohol. He told them he was out on bond and begged them not to call police. They also said there was another passenger in the car with him at the time, who got out, grabbed a bottle of alcohol and took off. Court documents indicate Lenton then got back in his car and drove just about two miles before losing control of his Lexus, killing that couple. "It's a very very tragic scene," Sean Teare with the Harris County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday. "The two died together. It was obvious they were together in life as well. Every one of these scenes is sobering. This one is very, very tragic." Records show Lenton was out on bond for sexual assault of a child and unlawful restraint when police say he caused that deadly crash. Lenton is expected in court Thursday morning. |

The accused attacker is a homeless man, 21-year-old Lyondre Williams. A woman exercising around noon told investigators someone grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her. The phone in her running belt was tossed by her attacker when she tried to call for help. carjacking a man in northwest Houston and then shooting

They found Matthew Schultz there, who said he was attacked while sitting in his rental U-Haul truck. "I was just sitting there with my dog Mooshoo, my baby," Schultz told Eyewitness News. "Out of nowhere, this guy comes and opens the door and punches me in the face, punches me in the ribs, rips me out of the U-Haul, gets in the U-Haul, backs it up and starts peeling away." Schultz says he caught up to the truck and held on to the back. He was dragged several feet before he had to let go. By Monday night, officers recovered the van parked at a Shell gas station four miles from the Studio 6. Schultz's dog was found dead of a gunshot wound inside the vehicle. On top of that, Schultz and his boyfriend had $4,000 stolen from them. They had planned to get a money order for their new apartment with that cash. of her and exposed himself.The woman was able to fight him off and scream for help. Police said the woman kicked the man repeatedly in the chest, so it is likely he has bruises or abrasions. Police say two other cyclists nearby stopped and helped her. They chased the man and tried to catch him, but couldn’t. The woman was taken to the hospital and treated. Investigators describe the suspect as a black man in his 20’s with a medium build, wearing dirty blue jeans rolled up to the ankle and brown loafer-like shoes that were dirty. He also had a bandage or some wrap on his wrist. He is approximately 5-foot-10 with short hair on the sides and no facial hair. Police also said he may have a speech impediment or be nonverbal. Tenn. - Memphis Police have made an arrest after a local high school
student was shot and killed in Frayser. September 2, officers
responded to a shooting in the 2200 block of Clifton Ave. Police
told FOX13 they noticed the body of Jack
Luibel, 18, lying in the yard unresponsive. Officers were told
two men fled the scene toward Slocum St. shortly after the
shooting. Memphis Fire Department paramedics made the
scene and pronounced Luibel dead on the scene. Investigators noticed
a cell phone in the center console of his vehicle, which was still
running in the driveway with the driver’s side door still open.MPD revealed Luibel was in communication with a telephone number via the TextNow app. Text messages showed the victim was headed to the 2200 block of Clifton Ave to meet a woman. He was given an address and map of the location. Video shows two suspects walking to the location from the New Hope Christian School in the 3000 block of University. Police obtained a search warrant from TextNow, via Onvoy, LLC. Records revealed the user to be bonst66. Officers got more information that defendant Talas Bonds was wanted for robbery and known to frequent the area near Slocum St. Bond also matched the description of one of the men in the video. September 17, officers went to the area on Slocum St. to located Bonds on an outstanding robbery warrant. Bonds fled the scene on foot but was eventually captured and taken to the homicide office. Bonds agreed to discuss the Luibel homicide and admitted he used the phone number to communicate with the victim. Bonds admitted to MPD that his username was bondst66 and told officers he was one of the suspects in the video. He gave a complete verbal statement on the homicide. - (Black-on-white) |

ago has been allowed to return home to her family.Volusia County Circuit Judge Raul Zambrano on Thursday allowed 38-year-old Ebony Wilkerson to leave Daytona Beach, where she had been in jail or transitional care since March 4, 2014. The family lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Assistant Public Defender Jay Crocker tells The Daytona Beach News-Journal that Wilkerson will still be on medication and will see a mental health counselor in South Carolina.
