 CHARLESTON,
SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police arrested a man who they say sexually
assaulted a woman. The victim appeared in bond court on Saturday.
Court documents state that on March 13, 28-year-old Demetrius
Frazier forced his way into his neighbor’s home, pointed a gun
at her head and forced her to
perform sexual acts on him. Once the assault was
over, Frazier told her that he would harm her if she contacted
police. The victim reported the crime to the Charleston Police
Department on March 16. The woman said initially she did not want to
go to the police but decided to go after speaking with her husband
and another neighbor. “My husband came home and I said no police. It
took going outside talking to my neighbor and seeing her anger that
somebody felt entitled to my body and my life and my car that he had
taken so much and I was too afraid," the woman said. “It took
everything I had to go up to the police station and make that report
but I wouldn’t change it.”The victim told police that prior to the incident she had another encounter with Frazier. In November, Frazier knocked on her front door and asked to use her phone to call his child’s doctor. When Frazier returned with the phone, she discovered several nude pictures of Frazier on her device. The report states that Frazier was also found to have stolen the victim’s car after after she reported it missing on February 12. On March 13, the vehicle was recovered on James Island. City of Charleston Police Department matched the finger prints on the vehicle to Frazier’s fingerprints. - (Black-on-white) |

HAVEN — A city of New Haven employee was assaulted while checking
meters between Elm and Court Street on Wednesday. The 39 year old
victim heard someone yelling obscenities before being struck
behind the head and losing consciousness. First responders responded
to the scene and the worker was transported to Yale-New Haven
Hospital. The assailant was seen getting into a old rusty tan
or orange four door sedan. Witnesses said the assailant was a
black male around six feet and in his twenties or thirties, at
the time of the attack the assailant was seen wearing a white
t-shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information about the incident
is asked to call the New Haven Police Department Detective Bureau at

they found a man who they identified as Bertrand Gboko,
34, armed with a knife.The officers told Gboko to drop the weapon and he did, according to investigators. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. When an officer with the Tallahassee Police Department arrived on scene, a dark-colored vehicle drove towards the officer and then fled south on Adams Street. Police believed the car was being driven by the suspect. Following an investigation, authorities were able to identify the suspect as 47-year-old Steven Dewitt, Jr. He was arrested Sunday on one count of indecent exposure in public for the March 21 incident. The police department says Dewitt is a sexual offender with a history of lewd and lascivious conduct, aggravated stalking and harassment. |

COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A teacher at a school in Statesville was
arrested Tuesday on 78 charges involving sex
offenses with a student, according to the Statesville
Police Department.Derone Martin McNeill, 47, is charged with 26 counts of second-degree rape, 26 counts of second-degree forcible sex offense and 26 counts of sexual activity with a student. Investigators say additional charges may be coming from the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office for possible crimes that occurred outside city limits. The investigation began on March 7, when the Sheriff’s Office got a report about a sexual assault that occurred in 2012. That report involved a student who was attending Statesville Christian School. During the investigation, police say they determined the sexual assaults took place on multiple occasions between February 2012 and May 2014. |

with another adult, the North Shore district attorney’s office said.The jury deliberated just 38 minutes before finding Sandra E. Gaines, 39, guilty on two counts of aggravated rape and three counts of sexual battery, District Attorney Warren Montgomery’s office said in a news release. Gaines’ longtime boyfriend, Robert Cardell Flowers, was convicted by a St. Tammany Parish jury on the same charges in June 2015, and he was sentenced a month later to spend the rest of his life in prison. |

Melvin Davis, 42, is accused of repeatedly beating and raping

held captive for several weeks, is now safe. Davis was booked

undress during robbery, police say CLEVELAND,
Ohio – A registered sex offender struck a Cleveland woman over the
head with a power saw and forced her to undress at knifepoint before
he robbed her, police said. Robert F. Johnson, 43, is charged
with aggravated robbery in the Tuesday incident at a home on West
130th Street near Lorain Avenue, according to court records. He is
not in custody, but a warrant was issued Wednesday for his arrest.
Johnson was at the woman’s home Tuesday when he struck her over
the head with the power saw. He also struck her over the head with
a metal pipe, police said in a news release. Johnson then held
a knife to the woman and forced her to undress. He stole her Android
cellphone before he left the home, police said. |

judge ruled the officer meant to use her Taser and mistakenly drew
her gun during the confrontation.Ex-Lawrence officer Brindley Blood, 36, was charged with aggravated battery after she shot 35-year-old Lawrence resident Akira Lewis while he was attacking another officer in May 2018. Douglas County District Court Judge Peggy Kittel ruled that evidence did not show Blood acted recklessly during the confrontation. The case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning it could be refiled, the Lawrence Journal World reported. Lewis, who is black, was treated at a hospital after being shot and has said he has permanent injuries. He contends he was racially profiled. Blood and the other officer are both white. Lewis was charged with battery against a law enforcement officer, interference with law enforcement and driving without proof of insurance, all misdemeanors, and failure to wear a seat belt. threatening letters and online complaints to several agencies and
organizations, including FOX40. Darnell Ray Owens, 32, was
arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office
in Sacramento. He has been charged with mailing threatening
communications, as well as a hoax involving white powder that was
sent through the mail.The criminal complaint accuses Owens of sending 50 letters and online complaints to law enforcement agencies, individuals and organizations between February 2018 and March 2019. The letters allegedly threatened the lives of police officers, government officials, employees, homosexuals, a pastor and “white people.” On Oct. 24, 2018, a letter naming several employees and threatening their lives was sent to FOX40 News in Sacramento. Most recently, Owens is accused of threatening to kill Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert in a letter sent to her office. White powder was found in a letter sent to a church in Dallas, Texas that threatened to kill the pastor. Another letter sent to the Sacramento County Department of Revenue Recovery also contained white powder. The author threatened to burn down the department and kill a number of people. (WCCO) — Minneapolis investigators say they’ve caught a serial
rapist. Twenty-four-year-old Kenyatta Buckles is in jail on
assault and robbery charges — and more charges may be coming.
Investigators say there are striking similarities in a string of
cases. It looks like a corner that would be quiet. But officers say
East 22nd Street and 4th Avenue South is where something horrific
unfolded on Jan. 20. A woman, using a website, megapersonals.com met
up with Kenyatta Buckles. She says when she arrived, Buckles
started an attack, holding a knife to her throat and demanded sex,
taking her phone and her car, which he later ditched.That woman got away, but police say there are four other similar cases, all in the Stevens Square neighborhood, which is near Buckles’ apartment. Attorney Mike Freemen said in a news conference, “We think we’ve put together strong complaints and if we believe we can prove a trial which we can, this individual will be doing some real time and it appears that he really deserves it.” Officers say they’ve tied Buckles to five cases total, and three of them involve sexual assault. Victims say he solicited them online, and when they met up, he held a knife and demanded money and sex. They all also said he wore red shoes. Minneapolis Police say after one victim posted a warning online, she heard from 12 others with similar stories. |

6-year-old grandson into the backseat of her car when
she was struck from behind with an object.The suspect stole the victim’s purse and fled to a silver Nissan SUV that was waiting and fled the area. Through the course of the investigation, detectives arrested 30-year old Deundra Lewis who was the driver of the getaway vehicle. Detectives are now requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the second suspect who committed the robbery. He is described as a black male adult in his late 20s-30s with short hair and goatee. |

appeared at their home in Spring. And even more disturbing was that

Garrett Gradney told ABC13 that the incident happened
on March 21 around 10 p.m. "My wife and I started hearing noises
right outside our bedroom door," Gradney said. From a different room
in the house, Gradney told his wife it was probably nothing, but he
suddenly heard her scream. "This guy actually stayed in the backyard
as my alarms were going off and just kept ringing the doorbell,"
Gradney said. Gradney said he went into protective mode and
grabbed his gun. By the time deputies arrived, the man was gone. |

female cohort and another person to trap lover Paul
Marie Raymond in a Ditmas Park home. The pair then
starved her, feeding her water only through a syringe, and induced
the 7-1/2-months-pregnant woman early with fentanyl and possibly
PCP to kill the child
— all while Ariyarajah and his wife were on vacation skiing in
Montana, according to court documents and law enforcement sources.
The alleged plot worked. The Malaysian-born Ariyarajah, who
completed a fellowship at Harvard University Medical School, was
finally indicted last month on criminally negligent homicide,
manslaughter, assault and other raps after the second helper turned
on him and cooperated with authorities, officials and sources said.The source said Ariyarajah supported her financially but was very controlling. At one point, she left him and got pregnant by another man, whom the cardiologist pressured her to leave, the law enforcement source said. |

Police said Jackson fired into the car in River North Saturday, killing Rivera and critically wounding another man and said Battle was a co-conspirator. Jackson and Battle have each been charged with one count of first degree murder and three counts of attempted first degree murder. Jackson was also charged with resisting/obstructing a peace officer. Officer John Rivera was shot and killed early Saturday morning in River North following a night out with friends. Police said the shooting and aftermath was captured on police cameras and other cameras in the area. Prior to the shooting, police said they believe there was a dispute at the Rock N Roll McDonald's involving a number of Hispanic men on a party bus and Jackson and another man. The men on the bus were making fun of Jackson and the other man, police said. Believing that Rivera and the men in the car were part of the group on the party bus, police said Jackson opened fire on them. in connection with two 38-year-old sexual assault cold cases.
Johnny Ealey, 64, has been charged with first-degree rape,
second degree-rape, and two counts of burglary. Police said there
were several burglaries around Beatties Ford Road in the summer of
1981 where victims were awakened and sexually assaulted by a suspect
armed with a knife. On May 6, 1981, a
woman said she was sexually assaulted by a man who
had broken into her home on Camp Green Street armed with a knife.
After the assault, the suspect reportedly cut the phone line and
fled from the scene. Nearly two months
later, another woman said she was asleep in her home on

Police Department have arrested and detained a man who is suspected
of shooting and killing a Hinton woman Thursday evening.Sometime between 7 and 8 p.m. on Thursday, Ramon Hector Martine Ontiveros, 33, shot and killed Paige Gomer, a 28-year-old woman from Hinton, near Highway 37 and Karnes Road. Ontiveros was arrested by Hinton Police Department at approximately 9 p.m. after he fled the scene of the shooting. During the transport to Canadian County Jail, Ontiveros admitted he was responsible for firing a weapon which resulted in Gomer’s gunshot wound. The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner is currently performing their investigation to pinpoint the exact cause of death. On March 22, 2019 a probable cause affidavit was signed by the Canadian County District Court for the arrest of Ontiveros, a Mexican citizen, for murder in the first degree. Officers say Faga charged at them when they told him to stop. The officer deployed a Taser, but it was ineffective. Police say Faga swung at the officer several times, hitting him once on the head. Police say officers managed to get Faga on the ground after a short, but violent struggle. Police say, during that struggle, and unknown citizen arrived on a bicycle and helped the officer in holding Faga to the ground. Additional citizens then assisted by calling 911 and giving accurate information to dispatchers about the location of the fight. her home Thursday morning by a man who allegedly harassed her.
Karma Young was pronounced dead Friday afternoon at
Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, according to
Beaufort County Deputy Coroner David Ott.The accused shooter, 41-year-old Jose Guzman-Rosario, 41, is believed to have killed himself at his apartment in the Brook Mills complex in Jasper County soon after the shooting, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office news release. Young was shot around 10 a.m. outside of her home in Point Comfort Club off Palmetto Bay Road, according to the release. Deputies and Hilton Head Fire rescue officials responded to the scene around 10:20 a.m. Around an hour after the shooting, Jasper County officials found Guzman-Rosario dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said. When police investigated the scene, they found several pieces of evidence that linked Guzman-Rosario to the crime, the news release said. They found a cartridge casing of the same caliber and manufacture as one found near the Hilton Head woman. After deputies obtained a search warrant for Guzman-Rosario’s phone, they found multiple “disturbing” text messages that he had sent to Young, Maj. Bob Bromage, of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, said it appeared Guzman-Rosario “had developed a disturbing and unhealthy interest” in Young. sentenced Tuesday to one year in jail and two years of probation.Quinton Kisor, 31, was charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm and assault with a dangerous weapon in the Oct. 10 incident at Apollo Lanes on Gratiot. The charges are felonies that can carry up to 10 years in prison, but Kisor pleaded guilty as charged under an agreement in which he would receive a maximum sentence of 12 months in the county jail. Sentencing guidelines under the Cobbs agreement called for 10 months to 34 months incarceration. Before he was sentenced, Kisor apologized to the victim and the court. “I wish this had never happened,” he said. The judge Caretti gave Kisor 152 days credit for time served and ordered anger management classes and no contact with the victim or his co-defendant, Branden Moore, 31, of Clinton Township, whose case has not gone to trial. DIEGO (KGTV) - Police Friday are looking for two people suspected of
sexually assaulting a woman in her Talmadge apartment and stealing
her car. According to San Diego police, at around 5:30 a.m., a woman
reported that she was sexually assaulted at a home in the 4400 block
of 50th Street. The woman told police she was asleep when she woke
up to two people inside her room. After assaulting her, the pair
fled from the apartment in the woman’s car. Police located the Kia

Police Say Sex-changed Felon Will Assault Little Girls  Police
say that a thing-woman who was convicted of sexually
assaulting young girls is going to be living in
Brampton. Peel police say that, after receiving information
from the Correctional Service of Canada and upon careful review of
the issues of public safety, they are issuing a community safety
advisory about an offender who now resides in the Brampton area.
Police say 36-year-old Madilyn Harks (formerly Matthew Harks),
will be living in the Main Street and Queen Street area. Police say
Harks has been convicted of sexual assault against young
females under the age of eight. Harks' young victims
have included neighbours and a fellow member of a church
congregation, police say.Members of the public are reminded that, although Madilyn Harks does present a safety risk to the public, she remains a Canadian citizen and her rights are guaranteed under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. As such, Peel Regional Police will act to protect these rights if they are infringed." |

cop cleared in fatal shooting of black teen in Pittsburgh
 PITTSBURGH
– A jury acquitted a white former police officer Friday in the fatal
shooting of an unarmed black teenager as he was fleeing a
high-stakes traffic stop outside Pittsburgh, a confrontation that
was captured on video and led to weeks of unrest.
Former East Pittsburgh Police Officer Michael Rosfeld was
charged with homicide for killing Antwon Rose II last June.
Rose was riding in an unlicensed taxi that had been involved in a
drive-by shooting when Rosfeld pulled the car over and shot the
17-year-old in the back, arm and side of the face as he ran away. The panel of seven men and five women – including three black jurors – saw video of the fatal confrontation, which showed Rose falling to the ground after being hit. The acquittal came after fewer than four hours of deliberations on the fourth day of the trial. |

Photographer killed in Cherokee Street robbery was heading out

LOUIS • A local photographer had plans to get married before he was
shot and killed on Cherokee Street this week in what police
described as a random robbery.James Sapone, 48, who went by Anthony, was about to go out to dinner with his fiancée, Amy Sprandel, about 9 p.m. Monday in the 2700 block of Cherokee Street when they were approached by a man, Sprandel said Wednesday afternoon. “Anthony had opened the car door for me like he always did,” said Sprandel. “And this man walks up and they started having words. Anthony stood up for himself. That’s who he was — he didn’t back down.” The man was attempting to rob Sapone, when a woman approached Sprandel and fought with her, trying to take her purse, Sprandel said. “She was actually smiling at me,” Sprandel said. Soon Sprandel heard a loud bang, and the attackers ran off. Sapone had been shot and was lying on the ground. She called 911 and tried to give him CPR, but he stopped breathing before EMS arrived, Sprandel said. “We were celebrating our one year anniversary,” she said. “He had shown me the ring he was going to buy. I’m just ... devastated.” The male suspect is described as in his early to mid-30s, 5 feet, 9 inches, or 5 feet, 10 inches, with a medium build and a medium complexion, shoulder length braids or dreadlocks, wearing a grey hoodie and armed with a handgun. Several
people 'randomly' punched while walking downtown; BLACK Suspect

 CINCINNATI
— A man is in the Hamilton County Jail accused of punching random
people in the face and head downtown. Cincinnati police believe that
man was having a violent mental health episode.
Investigators said four people were punched along West Sixth Street.
It all came unexpectedly, but luckily the victims all walked
away. "He was actually going across the street. Whatever
person he (saw), he just ran up and hit them," Ingram-Price said.
Cincinnati police believe Ledavid Beasley was having a
violent mental health episode, leading to four
people, including Edward Coldwell, being punched at
random. His criminal history includes arrests for obstructing
official business and menacing, according to Hamilton County Court

Cobb County man sentenced to life in prison after attacking,
raping woman  Cobb
County, GA (CBS46) A Cobb County man will spend the rest of his life
behind bars after being convicted of attacking a raping a woman at
her home in 2017. Shian Alexander Martin, 41, was sentenced
on Thursday to life in prison without parole, plus 20 years on
probation. The sentence stems from an incident on February 20, 2017.
Police say Martin and the woman were at her apartment on Windy Hill
Road in Marietta when the woman allegedly refused to have sex
him. Martin then grabbed a knife and held it to her throat,
cutting, strangling and raping the woman for several hours. Martin
has previous arrests for auto entering, robbery, theft and drugs. |

Man arrested twice this month for rape charges ALBUQUERQUE,
N.M. — The Albuquerque Police Department sex crimes unit said that
DNA from a backlogged rape kit in 2015 matched Nicolas Williams,
who has now been arrested twice this month for rape charges. He was
arrested again on Wednesday. He has been wanted for raping numerous
women along Central Avenue. He is expected to stay behind bars until
he goes before a district court judge. However, after that first
arrest on March 1, Williams was let out of jail to wait for his
trial. He was back on the streets doing the same thing. |

Transient Sought in Rape of Woman at East Hollywood Metro Red
Line Station   Detectives
are looking for a man who attacked and raped a victim last week at
the Metro Red Line Station in East Hollywood. The crime took place
about 6 p.m. on March 14 at the train station at Vermont Avenue and
Sunset Boulevard. The victim asked the suspect for directions,
police said. “The suspect then lured the victim into a secluded,
emergency exit room at the Metro Red Line Station,” according to the
statement. “The suspect strangled, punched and raped the victim.”
Police described the attacker as a transient known to frequent Metro
Stations from Compton to Santa Monica. |

78-year-old woman in the head, repeatedly New
York City police are asking for the public’s help Friday in
identifying a man caught on video repeatedly kicking an elderly
woman in the head and body while a crowd of subway passengers look
on.The NYPD says the “heinous attack” happened in the early morning hours of March 10 in the city’s Bronx borough. Footage of it circulating on social media is drawing outrage – not only directed toward the attacker, but to the witnesses seen filming the violence with their cell phones and shouting instead of coming to the woman’s aid. The 78-year-old woman, who was sitting by herself in the corner of the subway car, is seen in the video holding her arm up trying to stop the man from going after her. At one point, the man grabs onto the subway car’s poles to balance himself on one foot, while using his other to repeatedly kick her in the head and body. |

after investigators say she followed another woman into a
convenience store and hit her in the head with a tire iron.Aretha Robinson, 51, is being held on $15,000 bond. She faces charges including assault and making terroristic threats. Police released surveillance video of Robinson being arrested March 10 inside a Wawa convenience store in Upper Darby, PA. The video shows Robinson with a four-pronged tire iron in her hands, which she gives over to officers as they arrest her. |
