File Homicide Charges Against 2 (black) Men In 2003 Parking
Garage Shooting of White man   UPDATE
(Nov 30, 2018) – Pittsburgh Police say
Lamont Fulton has been taken into custody. He turned himself
into investigators on Friday. The other suspect, Marty Armstrong
Jr., was already in jail.PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburg Police have filed homicide charges against two men in connection with a 2003 robbery and)shooting in the Smithfield Street Garage. Marty Armstrong Jr. and Lamont Fulton are now facing criminal homicide charges in the case following 66-year-old Michael Lahoff’s death earlier this week. he shooting happened in the downtown parking garage in January 2003. According to police, Lahoff was walking to his car when he was shot in the back. Police believe one of the two men arrested was trying to rob Lahoff. The shooting left Lahoff paralyzed. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said he died due to the injuries he sustained in the shooting. Both Armstrong and Fulton were charged and convicted in the shooting. Fulton was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison and is no longer in the system. Armstrong, who is believed to have pulled the trigger, was sentenced to 25 to 50 years in prison. He remains in jail. Warrants have been issued for both with the filing of the criminal homicide charges. - (Black-on-white) |

Murder suspect arrested after he tried to run and hide from
police  INDIANAPOLIS,
Ind. – A murder suspect is in custody after police say he was
involved in a police chase Thursday morning. Officers caught the suspect--identified as 26-year-old Derrick Warner--around 9:35 a.m. Warner was wanted in a murder case. Investigators believe Warner shot and killed Richard Pettry Junior on Jan. 12. The dispute between Pettry and Warner appears to have started in December when Pettry was called to help a family member who has a drug problem and claimed she was trapped inside a house. When Pettry went to help that family member, he was allegedly confronted by a man with a gun. According to court records, several witnesses identified Warner as the shooter during the murder a couple of weeks later. - (Black-on-white) |

Man accused of fatal shooting in Old West End appears in court   The
man accused of shooting and killing another man in the Old West End
near the Toledo Museum of Art appeared in court Friday, where his
bond was set at $1 million.Jaquan Sturdevant, 21, was arrested Thursday after police located him in an apartment in the 1900 block of Scottwood Avenue. Mr. Sturdevant appeared Friday morning in Toledo Municipal Court and was charged with murder. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 1, and his bond was set at $1 million. Mr. Sturdevant’s court appearance comes after police identified the shooting victim as Zachary Duprey, 26. The shooting was reported at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Monroe Street. Mr. Duprey was found behind the Toledo Museum of Art, according to the Toledo Fire Department. Mr. Duprey suffered at least one gunshot wound and was transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he later died. The death was ruled as a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the neck, according to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office. - (Black-on-white) |

Texas - Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Conroe Police Department
and other law enforcement are searching for an escaped prisoner in
the area of 800 block of N. Loop 336 West. Around 7:20 a.m. Sunday,
Conroe Police Dispatch received a call advising that Cedric
Joseph Marks was able to elude custody when the transport
company stopped at McDonald’s located at 801 N. Loop
336W.According to Conroe Police Department, Marks was in transport from Grand Rapids Michigan after being captured by the US Marshal’s for a burglary of a habitation warrant with intent to commit a felony. Marks also has warrants for the murders of Michael Swearingen, 32, and Jenna Scott, 28, in an investigation that began in Temple, Texas in January of 2019. Texas Prisoner Transport Services was heading to Bell County, TX at the time of their stop. Officials say Marks is a professional MMA fighter. Swainsboro man faces charges in "domestic" death of a (white)
41-year-old woman  EMANUEL
COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Emanuel County Sheriff's Office has
made in an arrest in a homicide case. 46-year-old Tommy Lee
Givens Jr. is facing charges after the death of 41-year-old Sarah
Kay Akridge.According to Emanuel County Sheriff J. Tyson Stephens, a Thursday afternoon shooting in the Dellwood community of northern Emanuel County led to the death of Akridge. Deputies responded to the area around 5:00 P.M. after receiving a 911 call of shots being fired. Upon arrival, Akridge was found in a vehicle slightly off the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation began an investigation and quickly determined the incident was an isolated matter and domestic in nature. Investigators identified the suspect 46-year-old Tommy Lee Givens Jr. of Swainsboro. Akridge and Givens had previously been involved in a relationship together but had separated. - (Black-on-white) |

case, dealt drugs     WHITLEY
COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Court documents offer new details in a triple
homicide in Whitley County.Emogene Bittner, Christopher Bittner, and Emogene’s 16-year-old son Robert ‘Little Man’ Kennedy were all found dead at a home on Deep Branch Road Sept. 13, 2017. Police say all three were strangled. Emogene’s mother, Kathy Faulkner, found them and called 911. More than a year later, Anthony Hester, Darnell Chivers, and Jeremy Hatfield were each charged with murder, first-degree burglary, and tampering with physical evidence. According to an affidavit filed Jan. 25, Faulkner had been in a relationship with Chivers in 2017. Faulkner told investigators she had met him while he was in jail in Indiana, according to the document. She also told Williamsburg police that Chivers took heroin from her home and her truck. A cooperating defendant told the special agent that all three men forced their way into the home to find Faulkner’s safe, which was expected to contain cash and/or drugs. That defendant said Chivers was upset because he felt Faulkner owed him heroin. According to the affidavit, that defendant said they did not expect anyone to be home, but Faulkner’s daughter, son-in-law, and grandson were in the home. The defendant told the agent that those three were strangled using plastic zip ties. After the killings, the men poured bleach throughout the home and on the bodies in an attempt to get rid of any DNA evidence. - (Black-on-white) |

Interracial
couple arrested in connection with animal cruelty videos  ALEXANDER,
Ark. — On Sunday, Feb. 3, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office
deputies responded to the 3600 block of Centark Circle for a report
of animal cruelty. When deputies arrived on the scene, they met with
the Bryant Police Department officers to make contact with the
suspects; who were depicted in videos on Facebook in which they were
injuring a cat and a dog.
After speaking with the suspects, 18-year-old Marlin Sims 31-year-old Katherine Farmer, both of Alexander, deputies determined that they were the two that had injured the animals in the video. Both Sims and Farmer were charged with Cruelty to Animals, an unclassified misdemeanor. The Saline County sheriff's deputies seized two cats and a dog from the home and have taken them to a local animal care facility. |

Enforcement, Atlanta's WSB-TV reports.The rapper, born Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was apprehended by I.C.E. on Sunday (Feb. 3) in Atlanta in what a spokesperson referred to as a "targeted operation." In a statement provided to reporters at the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, I.C.E. spokesperson Brian Cox claimed that Abraham-Joseph is a citizen of the United Kingdom who is "unlawfully present" in the United States. According to Cox, Abraham-Joseph entered the U.S. in 2005 on a visa that expired the following year. He added that Abraham-Joseph has been "placed in removal proceedings before the federal courts," and that he was previously convicted for drug charges in Atlanta in 2014. |

Bronx (WABC) -- Police have arrested the registered sex offender who
they believe ran off with a 14-year-old
girl from the Bronx. 35-year-old Anthony
Ferdinand is now facing numerous charges, including rape,
criminal sex act and sexual abuse. Police say Ferdinand and the teen
girl knew each other before she went missing. The teen disappeared
from her home in the Wakefield section on Thursday night and was
found Saturday morning in Herald Square. Police suspected that she
was with Ferdinand when she went missing. |

- Surveillance video from a Detroit McDonald's helped police track
down a man who allegedly robbed the business Jan. 25 at
knifepoint. Leonard Matthew, of Detroit, was charged
with armed robbery. Police said Matthew, 27, was caught on camera
robbing the Project Green Light business in the 13600 block of Grand
River Avenue about 8:25 p.m. An analyst was monitoring the
restaurant's cameras when Matthew allegedly demanded money from a
cashier while armed with a knife. |

Dickinson, ND man accused of sexual assault had a bond reduction
hearing on Friday at the Stark County Courthouse. Tyrell Parker
is charged with Gross Sexual Imposition, a AA Felony, along with
Criminal Trespass (Class C Felony), Sexual assault (A Misdemeanor),
Criminal Mischief (A Misdemeanor, and Simple Assualt (B
Misdemeanor). According to court documents on December 28, 2018, in
Dickinson, Parker entered the home of a woman he was in a
relationship with without her permission. He then forced her
to engage in a sexual act.During the incident, it was reported by law enforcement that Parker struck the victim in the face and damaged her cell phone. |

Dance teacher facing rape charge in Sunset Hills SUNSET
HILLS, Mo. – The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office
charged a 40-year-old East St. Louis man for allegedly having sex
with a minor. According to prosecutors, Nicholas Gates had
intercourse with the victim, who
was less than 17 years of age, between August 1, 2014
and November 30, 2015. Gates was identified as the owner and
dance instructor at Hip Hop Foundation Fanatics. Police said
the victim was a student at the dance studio. Gates was charged with
second-degree statutory rape. He’s being held on a $25,000 cash-only

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Police arrested a man on charges of animal cruelty after a dog was found frozen to death and thrown away in a dumpster. The investigation began on Wednesday when volunteers with Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside (FIDO) responded to a home in the 2400 block of East 10th Street to check on the welfare of a dog left outside. “There’s no excuse for letting this happen,” said Darcie Kurtz with FIDO. “There’s no reason to leave that dog out there to suffer and die.” Gordon Turentine, 62, said it was a female dog named Remy. He said he owned Remy for 10 years before he found her frozen in the doghouse that morning, and then he placed her in the dumpster. |

Sheriff’s Office said Friday a third teenage suspect has been

Lawson, an 18-year-old female, was arrested and charged with
accessory after the fact to murder. Lawson is accused of helping one
of the two other suspects conceal and transport the victim's body
after the killing. Deputies said Thursday Sosa Mandiez Croft, 18, was arrested and charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, armed robbery, and grand larceny. “During the course of investigation, investigators learned that Croft and the victim had engaged in some sort of drug deal prior to Croft stealing the victim’s car and ultimately shooting him,” Lt. beating, Macon murder warrant says    Macon,
GA - The mother of Macon’s first homicide victim of 2019 was
arrested on a murder charge Tuesday morning. Jaimie Lynn Howard,
20, of Plantation Parkway, was booked into the Bibb County jail at
10 a.m., according to jail records.
King Henderson, who turned 1 on Jan. 20, died
late Thursday at Coliseum Northside Hospital, Bibb County Coroner
Leon Jones said. He initially showed no signs of injury, according
to an initial Bibb County sheriff’s news release. After a GBI
autopsy showed the baby succumbed to head trauma, his 21-year-old
father, A’kym Malek Henderson, of the same Plantation Way
address, was arrested and charged with murder Friday afternoon.
Howard is accused of “acting in concert” with Henderson, according
to the arrest warrant. She “attempted to cover up this incident by
initially stating... she was only woken up by the victim struggling
to breathe,” the warrant stated. Howard continued to stick to her
account during questioning, the warrant stated. She later changed
her story and said she witnessed Henderson punch the boy in the
head multiple times. She “chose to look away,” the warrant
stated. Howard failed to seek medial attention for the baby
until he was unresponsive, an updated sheriff’s news release stated.

convicted on two counts of murder. A Cumberland County jury also

two counts of unlawful disposal of human remains in the deaths of
Neidy Ramirez and three-month old Genesis Ramirez. Their bodies were
found in December 2015 at a nature preserve in Fairfield Township.The 37-year-old Millville man faces consecutive life terms without the chance for parole when he's sentenced later this year. Prosecutors say Carrillo-Santiago killed Ramirez and her child at her Vineland apartment. Ramirez was the mother of three, including one fathered by Carrillo-Santiago. |

Okla. – Agents are investigating a convoluted case involving six
people suspected in the murder of a Chickasha man.Around 3:30 a.m. on Monday, officers with the Chickasha Police Department were called to the 700 block of W. Choctaw after a body was found near the Dairy Queen. When they arrived, they found the body of 18-year-old Arnold Adams III. On Thursday, officials with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation announced that six suspects have been identified in connection to Adams' murder. Earlier this week, authorities arrested 20-year-old Troy Jennings, 16-year-old Brooklyn Nelson, 15-year-old Vivian Sanders and 15-year-old Montana Simpson on complaints of first-degree murder. Agents are still searching for 16-year-old Dmillion Williams and 18-year-old Malcolm Jackson. Investigators say that while they don't have all the details of the case yet, they learned that Adams' murder was planned ahead of time. "The occupants of the vehicle knew that not only was a robbery going to take place, but they planned on killing Mr. Adams when they arrived there," OSBI Assistant Special Agent of the Southwest Region Lynn Williams said. Officials with the OSBI say Dmillion Williams said that he wanted to kill someone with drugs, and Vivian Sanders was able to find Adams through social media. "None of the occupants actually knew Mr. Adams," Williams said. "He was just a person that Vivian Sanders had contacted on a social media platform." Ford was taken into custody Monday on murder charges.Authorities say the bodies of 32-year-old Alexandria Nicole Reshard and 46-year-old Shawnez Williams were discovered in a wooded, swampy area. Both victims were found partially disrobed, with their shirts and bras pushed up to their necks, exposing their chests, and their pants pulled down. Officials say both Reshard and Williams died due to blunt force trauma to the face and manual strangulation. Police also say both women were known prostitutes who worked in the Frenchtown area. According to arrest documents, a partial and a full foreign DNA profile was found on the victims, which officials linked to the same male subject, later identified as Ford. Ford is a registered sexual predator with a history of violent sexual offenses, which he served prison sentences for. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - A woman who uses a walker was sexually assaulted
Tuesday during a home invasion in Fort Lauderdale, authorities said.The victim's age was not publicly released. According to an arrest report, the woman was watching TV in her living room when James Lee Brinkley, 53, who is homeless, "barged" into her apartment, punched her in the face, put his hand over her mouth and demanded money. Police said Brinkley threatened to kill the woman if she screamed. The victim told authorities she pointed to her purse and Brinkley took $40 in cash from her wallet. She said he then dragged her by the arm into the bedroom and threw her on the bed. SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police say forensic technology has resulted
in an arrest in a 25-year-old sexual assault of a child.Tomogo James William McCord, 43, of Ridgeville, is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, according to Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis. The victim was 10 years old on Aug. 10, 1993, when he was playing in a wood area behind a shopping center in the 2000 block of Savannah Highway, police say. The victim told police he was approached by a man he had never seen before who asked him to help him look for something. A short time later, police say, the man pulled out a knife and assaulted the boy. In 2018, the Charleston Police Department’s Family Violence Unit reopened the investigation into the assault and submitted evidence to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division for further analysis. Investigators were able to obtain a DNA profile from the evidence and ran it through the Combined DNA Index System, also known as CODIS, Francis said. The DNA profile matched that of McCord, investigators say. |

assault and practicing medicine without a license after a woman was
reportedly left with facial scars following a botched laser surgery.

Palisades Park Police Department earlier this month that barbershop
owner Young Hwan Choi, 72, performed laser surgery on
her face in November 2017. The procedure allegedly caused the woman

airman in Cedar Park have been charged with first-degree murder,
according to documents filed in court. Cedar Park police say Austin Burroughs was shot and killed in the parking lot of his Cedar Park apartment complex at the 2200 block of South Lakeline Boulevard on Jan 20. A car was seen driving from the scene that was registered to 19-year-old Elanna Wilkes who had been linked to robberies in the past. Investigators arrested Wilkes along with 20-year-old Cornelius Martin and 19-year-old Darius Burdett-Hornsby and all three now face first-degree murder charges in connection with Burroughs' death. The three told investigators differing stories about what happened the night Burroughs was killed, according to multiple affidavits, but they all agree on one fact: Burdett-Hornsby was holding the gun that killed Burroughs. Wilkes told investigators that on the night of Jan. 20, she was driving her white Kia Rio while Martin was in the front passenger seat, according to affidavits filed in court. The two picked up Burdett-Hornsby and they smoked marijuana together. The trio drove to two apartment complexes with the intention of robbing homes and drug dealers. |

who escaped police custody after drug bust 
Police are searching for a man who escaped police custody during a
violent drug bust in Queens on Tuesday night. Mohammed Salah,

9:30 p.m. at the Queensbridge Houses on 12th Street near 41st Avenue
when a physical altercation broke out between the suspects and
police. Officers noticed on the way to the 114th Precinct that
Salah, who was cuffed along with the others, had slipped away.
