former Atlanta police sergeant was indicted Wednesday on multiple
charges in connection with the shooting of a tourist near the
Georgia Dome in 2017. Mathieu Cadeau faces charges of
aggravated assault and reckless conduct as well as two counts of
violation of oath by a public officer, according to a statement from
Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard’s office. Cadeau, 52, is
accused of shooting Noel Hall as the
North Carolina man left the Atlanta Supercross, one of the final

possible road rage shooting  OPA-LOCKA,
FLA. (WSVN) - Police have released new details regarding a fatal
shooting in what may have been a road rage incident in Opa-locka.
Miami-Dade Police have identified the victim of the shooting as
24-year-old Caleb Smith
and the suspect as 22-year-old Jahsie Mahoney.According to investigators, Mahoney and Smith were traveling eastbound on Northwest 135th Street when Mahoney got out of the car, pulled out a gun and shot Smith. Smith was rushed to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. Officers said Mahoney called 911 and stayed on the scene. He has been charged with second-degree murder and his being held without bond. - (Black-on-white) |

home-invasion robbery     One
person is still being sought by police in connection with a July
home-invasion robbery that resulted in the death of a 43-year-old
woman in September from complications of an injury she sustained
during the invasion.Tulsa police arrested 16-year-old Diondra Green on Thursday on a warrant in the case, Sgt. Brandon Watkins said. Two other suspects, Malachi Bagsby, 19, and Labrandon Nichols, 27, were previously arrested. A fourth suspect, 17-year-old Victor Johnson, has not yet been arrested. Johnson was described in a probable cause affidavit as black, about 5-foot-7 and about 120 pounds. The two teenagers and two adults are alleged to have slipped into the woman’s apartment in early July while she slept. The woman, Tonya Louise Satawake Southern, 43, was attacked during the robbery. She died on Sept. 7 from complications of the injuries she sustained during the attack, according to a probable cause affidavit. Southern reportedly died from a blood clot that traveled from an injured leg to her lungs. “Tonya stated that during the assault, blankets were placed over her, she was punched in the face, and she fell to the floor causing her right leg to snap,” Tulsa Police Detective Justin Ritter wrote in the affidavit. “Tonya stated that she then pretended to be unconscious and the suspects fled.” - (Black-on-white) |

repeatedly in NE Houston - GANG-RAPED HOUSTON,
Texas (KTRK) -- A 37-year-old black Houston homo is charged with
holding a teenager against his will, and sexually assaulting him
over a period of two months. The alleged assaults happened at
Jordache Lenton apartment in Fifth Ward from June until
August. The teenager was only 15
years old at the time he said he was lured into a car
by Lenton, and two other men. According to police, the men
offered him money to help move furniture. He told investigators he
was taken to Lenton's apartment where the men took their clothes off
and assaulted him. The teen said Lenton recorded the assaults on his
cellphone, and threatened to post the video on social media if he
tried to escape. In mid-August, police received two calls, one from
Lenton to report he had been stabbed by the teenager, and another
from the victim who reported he had been sexually assaulted and held
against his will. Police are trying to identify and locate his two
alleged accomplices. |

Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A man was arrested for five counts of sexual
battery on a minor, reports the Sanford Police Department. They say
that on October 9th, police arrested Arsenio Evans for
multiple counts of sexual battery on a
victim 12 years or older with the threat of a deadly
weapon. The Sanford Police Department reports that on September 2nd, investigators were notified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children of inappropriate Facebook Messenger activity, indicating sexual activity, possible physical harm, and threats of kidnapping. Then, on October 9th, investigators say they were finally able to interview the child victim and discovered that Evans had sexually battered her on multiple occasions. Through the investigation, it was determined that Evans used threats of violence towards the victim or her family and battered her on at least one occasion. |

TULSA - A good Samaritan stops a sexual assault in progress.
The incident happened on Wednesday near 12th and Denver. According
to an arrest and booking report, a female was walking down the
street and Abdulahi Guled allegedly exposed himself.
When she went to call police, a struggle ensued and the victim fell
to the ground after being hit. “Mr. Guled laid on top of (the
victim),” the report reads. “The caller intervened and
struck Mr. Guled in the head.” Guled was subdued until officers
could arrive. He now faces counts of indecent exposure and
rape by instrumentation. |

Jacob Hudson, 36, was shot and killed about five
houses down from where he lived in the 6400 block of Idaho Avenue,
in the Carondelet neighborhood. St. Louis Police were called to the
area around 9:50 a.m. Saturday for reports of gunfire. Responding
officers found Hudson suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in
the street. Paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene. The
suspects, who are not believed to be in custody, are described as two

on a school bus. She says the driver saw what was happening in the
mid-September attack and did nothing to help. Darcy Young says the
child who assaulted her granddaughter was disciplined but
administrators told her the bus driver who didn't intervene or get
medical attention, did nothing wrong. "I see a crowd of kids, I
thought something was going on and I look over and saw my
granddaughter trembling like she was having a seizure or something,"
Young said. "She was in complete shock." Young didn't know what happened to her 12-year-old granddaughter on the bus until another student showed her cell phone video of the attack. The seventh grade Westland Stevenson student was brutally attacked by another girl. She was punched, kicked and dragged by her hair. "I cried," Young said. "I cried." he called police and took her granddaughter to the hospital. Maggie was bruised and bloodied, and suffered a concussion. As you can see from the video her granddaughter didn't fight back in fear she would get in trouble. But Young wanted to know why the bus driver did nothing to stop it. ongoing investigation into multiple cases of sexual assault possibly
involving hundreds of victims.Leyton said Gilbert Conway, 60, of Flint, has been arraigned on 77 charges in connection with the rape of six women between 2009 and 2018, including first-degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping and felonies. An initial police investigation of Conway’s home led to the discovery of over 500 video cassettes containing scenes of rape. The discovery led Leyton to believe Conway could be responsible for dozens, if not hundreds of victims’ attacks over several years. |

home, prosecutors said.Nigel Kennedy, 51, of East Flatbush, invited a 42-year-old woman to join him for a “church ceremony” at an apartment in East Flatbush in August 2016, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office said Wednesday. At some point during the ceremony, Kennedy started chanting and poured a clear liquid that tasted like alcohol into the woman’s mouth, the DA’s office said. The woman passed out and felt someone on top of her, but wasn’t able to move and passed out again, the DA’s office said. When she woke up again at 5 a.m. the next day, she was naked on a bed, and Kennedy told her he “didn’t know how she got naked,” according to the DA’s office. The woman left the apartment and was nauseated and dizzy the rest of the day. This past year, on May 16, a 28-year-old woman went to Kennedy’s home for a “spiritual reading,” during which Kennedy blew smoke into her face and poured an alcohol-like liquid into her mouth, the DA’s office said. After the woman threw up and got dizzy, she passed out. When she woke up, she realized her pants were off and Kennedy was having sex with her, according to the DA’s office. Kennedy was arrested last month after flying into JFK Airport from Trinidad and faces charges including first- and third-degree rape and first- and second-degree sexual abuse. |

while implying he had a weapon in the 14200 block of Essex Drive on
Tuesday morning.A 34-year-old woman was in front of her home when she witnessed the man grabbing the girl, police say. That's when police say Walter hit the woman several times then forced her and the girl into the home. When another resident of the home attempted to intervene, police say Walter fled the scene with the girl. Walter then took the girl to an address on Cumberland Dr. and sexually assaulted her, according to police. |

Joliet man will go to trial over animal cruelty charges after one of
his dogs was allegedly found hanging dead from a fence by a chain
and two others freezing in dilapidated kennels. The jury trial has
been scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 5 at the Will County Courthouse. Amin
Hudson, 32, faces charges of cruelty to animals and violating
animal owner duties.On Dec. 30, a mail carrier allegedly saw a bloody dead dog hanging from a fence. She contacted Joliet police. The officers who arrived saw there was blood on the dog, the chain, the collar and the fence. Police said at the time that the dog, whose name was Fatboy, appeared to have struggled for some time before his death. The officers went into the backyard and found two pit bulls named Max and Snowball in two of three kennels, police said. The dogs were barking, crying and lifting their paws frequently to avoid frostbite, police said, and the kennels were in poor condition and the dogs had no food or water One of the responding officers saw Fatboy’s dew claw was ripped off, most likely during a futile struggle to free himself from the fence, police said. suspect in the multiple shootings in the city that left two people
dead Wednesday morning.Police say Blake, 39, was targeting family members when he shot three people, killing one, before leading police on a high-speed pursuit chase and exchanged gunfire with officers. Police followed the vehicle to Frances Street, where the suspect crashed into another vehicle and ended up in a driveway. "Shots were exchanged and the suspect was fatally struck," Rochester Police Chief LaRon Singletary said. Blake is accused of shooting two people at a Post Avenue home, leaving a female victim dead and injuring a male victim, and then driving to the city's east side and shooting a man in his 20s on Frances Street. That victim was Blake's son. In December 1998, Blake was accused of using a sword to slice hair from the head of his 18-year-old girlfriend, Rosemary McFadden. McFadden, who later married Blake, said he attacked her during an argument. Blake, then 20, was being sought by police on charges of harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, according to a news report at the time. His mother Joy Powell was convicted of murder - she was found guilty of second-degree murder in connection with the 1992 slaying of James Rutledge of Rochester and was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. Patterson testified that he was jumped by a gang of Hasidic neighborhood watch members, who brutally beat him after someone called to claim he’d been vandalizing cars. CITY, N.J. — A Virginia man whose toddler daughter’s body was found
in a suitcase next to train tracks in New Jersey earlier this year
has been arraigned on a count of disturbing or concealing human

BROOKLINE (CBS) – A Honduran man accused of choking and attempting
to rape a woman was arraigned in Brookline District Court on
Tuesday. Mainor Suazo-Martinez, 20, was charged with
assault with attempt to rape, kidnapping, and strangulation. Police
say the 20-year-old victim was walking home from a friend’s
apartment on Commonwealth Avenue early Saturday morning when
Suazo-Martinez approached her and took her keys and phone. Next,
police say he dragged her into an alley, grabbed her throat, and
sexually assaulted her.According to court documents, the victim escaped by asking Suazo-Martinez to come to her place which was nearby. He followed her there and her roommates confronted him, scaring him away.Police say the victim’s roommates took a picture of Suazo-Martinez and the victim and her roommates positively identified him when he was found. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has lodged a detainer request on Suazo-Martinez, a national of Honduras. His cousin confirmed to WBZ-TV that he is in the U.S. illegally. |

A Philadelphia Police officer was arrested after he allegedly struck
and killed a man while speeding near a high school earlier this
year.Police say officers Adam Soto, 24, and Tony Forest, 25, were both driving back on January 31 around 11:30 a.m. Both officers were off-duty at the time. Officials say Soto was driving 89 mph when he struck 50-year-old Daniel Dimitri who was running across the street. Dimitri was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries a short time later. After a lengthy investigation, Soto was charged with homicide by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter. Forest, 25, was not charged criminally but was charged with departmental violations after investigators determined he was driving recklessly as well. |

on the Interstate 5 freeway between Orange and San Diego counties.

On Monday, October 8th, police asked the Tulsa County DA office to charge Malachi Bagsby with first-degree murder and arrested him in his jail cell. His arrest report shows Bagsby broke into a woman's apartment on July 19th as she slept. Police say Bagsby allegedly assaulted the resident, injuring her leg. Investigators say the victim who was taken to a Tulsa hospital, developed a blood clot while in the hospital, causing her death. Woman Accused Of Stealing Nearly $20K From Menards MINNEAPOLIS
(WCCO) – A 30-year-old Michigan woman has been arrested for
allegedly using fraudulent cards to purchase nearly $20,000 worth of
stolen merchandise from Menards stores in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
According to a criminal complaint, Jasmine Annice Williams,
of Detroit, hit at least six Menards stores in Minnesota and at
least one in Wisconsin over the past week. Police say Williams is
accused of using multiple accounts at multiple stores, resulting in
thousands of dollars in fraudulent transactions.Court records say an investigation revealed that the woman would allegedly apply for Menards credit cards using stolen identities and would then place a hold on the victims’ mail for a short period of time so they wouldn’t receive notices about the credit cards. Police say purchases could be made using the stolen information without having the physical card by entering the account holder’s date of birth and social security number to complete the transactions. The amount of known transactions made at Menards in Minnesota totaled $18,199. 53, court records show. |

at the Daily Herald, the FBI says that during the heist, a winning
lottery ticket fell from Dexter Riley's pocket.
Investigators found out it had been sold at a gas station a day
earlier, along with four other winning tickets. Last Tuesday, one of

surveillance video from that gas station to track down the suspect.

Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee mother and her two daughters were
arrested after being seen on camera trying to steal multiple items
from Walmart. Tamara Bryant, 42, and her 14-and-15-year-old daughters were arrested by the Leon County Sheriff's Office on Thursday. On Thursday, deputies were called to Walmart on 4400 West Tennessee Street in response to Bryant and her two daughters actively concealing items inside the store. When deputies arrived on scene, they talked with Walmart's Loss Prevention Officer, who said he saw the suspects on video surveillance concealing multiple items into several different bags in their shopping cart. The prevention officer said he could not specifically see what was being concealed, but could tell the items were clothing and jewelry. Ex-boyfriend kills unwed Hispanic mother of their two
illegitimate offspring in front of her mom 
A young mom of two was shot dead in front of her mother in Brooklyn
on Sunday night, and the victim’s ex-boyfriend later turned himself
in to cops, police said. Sade
Sanchez, 24, was blasted five times in her
shoulder, chest, stomach and neck around 10:30 p.m. outside her home
on Menahan Street near St. Nicholas Avenue in Bushwick, cops said.
Emergency responders rushed Sanchez to Wyckoff Heights Medical
Center, but she could not be saved. Her former boyfriend,
26-year-old Gabriel Rivera, was being eyed in
the slaying and surrendered to police at the 83rd Precinct on Monday
morning. Charges are pending, they said. According to Sanchez’s
family, Rivera is the father of her two boys, ages 3 and 6. |

Kansas field
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities in northern Colorado have
arrested three people in the death of a man whose body was found in
a field in Kansas. The Coloradoan reports 26-year-old Emilio
Nunez-Bahena, 24-year-old Veronica Nunez
and 45-year-old Emilio Nunez-Torrez were arrested in Fort
Collins early Saturday on suspicion of first-degree murder. A farmer
in southwest Kansas contacted local police after finding a body in a
field Oct. 1. The victim, 21-year-old Bayron
Diaz-Bautista, of Fort Collins, had been shot multiple
times. The three suspects knew Diaz-Bautista and were living
in Fort Collins when they were arrested. They are expected to be
extradited to Kansas. |

couple may have killed as many as 20 women
A Mexican couple caught carrying dismembered human remains in a
baby carriage may have killed as many as 20 women, a top
prosecutor said Monday. The man confessed to 20 killings, but gave
details including the names of only 10 victims, said Alejandro
Gomez, the chief prosecutor of Mexico State, which is located north
and west of Mexico City. The couple was caught last week in
Ecatepec, on the northern outskirts of the capital. |

the Pelham grocery store owner. Hurbert Laster, 20, is now
being held in the Mitchell County jail on murder charges. According

in custody, Laster was one of them. He was arrested around
6:30 Friday night. According to police, Jerrod Johnson pulled

(CBSMiami) – Jahsee Mahoney was in court just one day after
he was taken away in handcuffs near a Marathon gas station in
Opa-locka. He is accused of shooting
and killing a man during a road rage incident on
Friday.“There’s no love in this world no more,” said the victim’s brother, who did not reveal his name. “We tried to take a left-hand turn, and some [explative] cut me off and shot my brother in the head.” He said he and his 24-year-old brother were in South Florida from out of town, doing work for a Tennessee roofing company. He claims Mahoney cut off their white pickup truck in his black Kia Forte at Northwest 135th Street and 42nd Avenue. He said shots were fired when they both got out of their vehicles. “You got an [explative]-up city around here,” he said. “You guys got to learn to love each other. Pa. – A black man has been acquitted of all charges in the shooting
death of a white man outside a bar in a case his
attorney said stemmed from "ugly racism."Jurors deliberated for four hours Friday before acquitting Stephen Spencer of homicide, aggravated assault and terroristic threats. He was freed after 453 days in Luzerne County Correctional Center following the July 2017 shooting. Spencer, 31, was accused of killing Christopher Williams, 32, in a confrontation outside the Pittston bar in July 2017 after another man refused to shake his hand because of Spencer's race following a dispute over a game of pool. Spencer had testified that he fired in self-defense as a group of would-be attackers came at him outside. The handshake refusal "may and should offend some of you," prosecutor Brittany Quinn had told jurors during opening statements, but she told the mostly white panel that the killing had "nothing to do with" the earlier dispute. Prosecutor Tom Hogans said during closing arguments that Spencer had the opportunity — and the duty — to retreat rather than pull his gun. "Shooting an unarmed man on a street when you can retreat is not self-defense," Hogans said. "He intentionally shot him in a vital part of his body." Defense attorney John Pike painted Spencer as a hard-working family man and homeowner who ran his own business, was licensed to carry the gun and had no criminal record. "You don't go from that to homicide," Pike said. Spencer said Friday, "I was fighting for my life for 15 months and I finally made it. Justice was served." - Miami Police Department detectives on Friday afternoon released
the sketch of a man accused of raping a woman in Miami's Liberty
City neighborhood, in the Model City community. Officer Kenia Fallat said he should be considered dangerous. She also asked pedestrians to "walk within well-lit areas, be aware of your surroundings and try to be in company of someone -- especially during the wee hours of the morning." The victim, a woman in her late 40s, reported the rape happened early Saturday morning as she walked to a bus stop at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, or Northwest 62nd Street, and 17th Avenue -- near Charles R. Drew K-8 Center and Charles Drew Middle School. The victim told detectives the thin attacker, who is about 6 feet 3 inches tall, was riding a bicycle when he approached her. Hollywood Play killed in shooting at bar in Woodhaven, Queens -

Queens (WABC) -- A rapper has died after being shot at a Queens bar
early Sunday.The shooting happened at about 3:15 a.m. at Tavern Lounge on Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven. Investigators say the victim has been identified as rapper/promoter Hollywood Play whose real name is Frankie Lewis. Friends say he stages events at the lounge each week and is well-known in the community. Police say the 35-year-old victim was shot in the neck and leg and taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was initially inside the lounge, and shortly after he stepped out he was shot by a person in a passing car that fled the scene, investigators said. Multiple shots were fired, but the rapper was the only person struck by gunfire, according to police. |

plotting to blow himself up on the National Mall on election
day. Paul Rosenfeld, 56, wanted to kill himself to draw
attention to his “radical political beliefs,”
authorities said. “As alleged, Paul M. Rosenfeld concocted a
twisted plan to draw attention to his political ideology
by killing himself on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
risking harm to many others in the process,” said U.S. Attorney
Geoffrey Berman. “Rosenfeld’s alleged plan for an Election Day
detonation cut against our democratic principles.”
