K. Kabongo charged with raping little pre-teen girl ROCKVILLE,
Md. - A bus driver for Montgomery County Public Schools has been charged with raping a student on his bus route, according to officials. Montgomery County Public Schools announced on Monday that 62-year-old Etienne K. Kabongo, a bus driver with the district since 2006, was arrested and charged with second-degree rape, sexual abuse of a minor, and third-degree sexual offense. Authorities said the charges stem from his contact with a student on his bus route on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Detectives said while a school bus attendant left the bus to assist in the drop off of another student, Kabongo remained on the bus and sexually assaulted a female student under the age of 13. According to police, the incident was captured on the school bus camera. | ||

Man accused of shooting (White) Smyrna animal lover turns himself in   The suspect in the shooting death of a Smyrna animal lover at the Uptown Suites turned himself in to Smyrna Police on Tuesday afternoon. Donavous Jerome Drennon, 35, was charged with criminal homicide in connection with the Friday night shooting. On Friday, Robert Wilson, 37, was shot and killed after attempting to stop the abuse of a Yorkshire Terrier puppy outside his hotel room. According to witnesses, a man matching Drennon's description had been holding the puppy by the neck above the ground. Wilson was seen to confront the man about the mistreatment of the animal. SPD report the suspect then pulled out a gun and shot Wilson in the chest. He later died as a result of his injuries at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center - (Black-on-white) | ||

UK teenager jailed for 17 years over fatal acid attack on (White) UK woman  A teenager has been jailed for 17 years after what is believed to be the first conviction for an acid attack killing in the UK. Xeneral Webster, 19, admitted the manslaughter of Joanne
Rand, who was hit in the face and body with industrial-strength sulphuric acid when she was innocently caught up in a tussle between the killer and another man. Rand, 47, a carer for people with dementia, was sitting on a bench in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, after visiting her daughter’s grave, when Webster threatened the other man with acid. The man knocked the open bottle from Webster’s grasp and kicked it, sending a spray of acid over Rand, the trial heard. She screamed in pain and dashed into a fast-food restaurant to splash water over her face. Rand was taken to Stoke Mandeville hospital for treatment of burns to her face, arms, upper body and lower legs. Henderson, (black) double murder suspect released on bail in Boston, dead following freezer attack in New York Carlton
Henderson, a 54-year-old man accused of murdering two people in Boston in 1988, died in New York City on Sunday after he allegedly emerged from a restaurant walk-in freezer and attacked employees. Henderson was released on bail in Boston just last week, on July 31, after Judge Janet Sanders granted a motion despite opposition from the Office of Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley. Henderson, an Arizona man, was arrested in Missouri in April 2017 and returned to Boston on murder charges tied to the homicides of William Medina, 26, and Antonio Dos Reis, 22, on Windsor Street in Roxbury on May 4, 1988. Employees opened a walk-in freezer door at Sarabeth's Restaurant Sunday morning when Henderson jumped out and began fighting with the employees. Henderson suffered some kind of medical condition and was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. |

Police said on July 20, two girls used Snapchat to arrange to meet with the men, who then took the girls to the Pride and Joy Car Wash in Bellevue, where they parked the car. Fla. (WTXL) - A Midway man has been arrested after threatening a victim with a hunting knife and demanding him to perform oral sex outside of a local hotel. Darrius Thomas, 33, was arrested by the Leon County Sheriff's Office on July 31. On May 23, 2017 the Tallahassee Police Department was called to the Days Inn on Apalachee Parkway in response to a sexual battery. When officers arrived on scene they made contact with the victim. While talking with officers, the victim said he was walking in the parking lot, talking to his girlfriend on the phone. He told officers he was sharing a room with a coworker and stepped outside to make the call. According to the police report, after the call ended, the victim started to walk back to his room, when Thomas approached him. He said Thomas reached into a holster on his side and pulled out a 12-inch hunting knife. The police report states, Thomas then demanded the victim to get on his knees and perform oral sex on him. The victim said because he was afraid of being injured, he complied with Thomas' demands. After he was finished, Thomas got into his car and drove away. The victim told officers he showered and rinsed his mouth out before calling police. |

(CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police have released more information on the bank robbery and are currently searching for a suspect. According to MPD, the robbery happened just after 10:15 a.m. at the Associated Bank near 76th and Brown Deer Road. The suspect has been identified as a black man in his early 30s about 5'5" to 5'8" tall with a medium build. He had a low cut haircut, facial hair and medium skin complexion. Maya Stith inside her car as she took a break from her overnight shift at Vector Security along Campus Drive in the shadow of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Whitemarsh Township, Pennsylvania, around 2:15 a.m., Steele said. Stith managed to get out of the car and began to run away but Crawley chased her down, continued to attack her and began to repeatedly stab her. But the attack wasn't over as Crawley used his Chevrolet Avalanche SUV to drive over her "again and again and again and he crushed her," Steele said. Maya Stith, 33, took a break during her shift and walked out to the rear parking lot of the building. The suspect, 33-year-old Lawrence Maurice Crawley, allegedly called the victim before showing up at her workplace and attacking her while she was seated in her car, breaking the window. The DA says Stith exited her car in an attempt to escape, but Crawley chased her down on foot and then beat her and stabbed her multiple times. Steele says the stabbing was so vicious that the blade of the knife was stuck in her back.Coworkers rushed in an attempt to aid the victim. But Crawley then allegedly got into a Chevrolet Avalanche pick up truck and drove over the victim repeatedly. "He drove the car over top of her again and again and again and he crushed her," Steele said. Crawley was later found on the Pennsylvania Turnpike around Somerset, Pa. by state police and was pulled over. When police attempted to take him into custody, Crawley allegedly lit himself on fire. Philadelphia police announced Tuesday that 33-year-old Timothy Barnes has been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of 23-year-old Tyisha
Timmons. Investigators say the van was packed with three 23-year old women and three children when it was ambushed in the 5700 block of Broad Street before crashing on the 5800 block of Old York Road on the night of Feb. 21. Timmons was shot in the head and killed and an adult passenger was injured after the vehicle crashed into a building. |

Searching for Spook Involved in Loop Stabbing That Left 3 Hurt  Police
released surveillance photos Tuesday night of a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing last week that left three people wounded in the Loop. The victims were walking about 11:20 p.m. July 23 in the first block of East Lake when one of them bumped into a group of three males, according to Chicago Police. The males then became “irate” and one of them pulled out a knife and started stabbing the other people. A 26-year-old man suffered serious stab wounds to his arms and thigh, while another 26-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and a 21-year-old woman suffered lacerations to her face, police said. They were all taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized. A short time later, officers located a 40-year-old man near the intersection of State and Lake who matched the description of one of the suspects, police said. |

Mass. - A mother from Taunton says she was viciously attacked after she was dragged out of her car during a road rage incident in Brockton. The Taunton woman, who has multiple sclerosis and is a mother of two, told The Brockton Enterprise she was a passenger in a friend’s SUV Wednesday afternoon when a man started driving erratically around them and then prevented them from traveling any farther. The woman, who requested anonymity for The Enterprise’s story, says she was recording video at that point. The man then dragged the woman out of the car on Brook and Bartlett Streets and swatted the phone out of her hands.She says she was fighting for her life. “He hit my head, he punched my chest, he dragged me like a rag doll. You can hear me screaming in the background, ‘I’m a mother, someone please call 911.’” The woman broke her arm and had scrapes and other injuries. The Brockton Police have not released a description of the suspect but the victim told The Enterprise she captured a clear image of his face on the video she was recording during the incident. Johnson was not home at the time of the search. Police said they have arrested a 22-year-old man who investigators believe was captured on video violently kicking a cat across a parking lot. The cat was seen flying in the air and landing on its back as others cheer on the man. Police said Jamari Davenport turned himself in on Wednesday. He was charged with misdemeanor cruelty to animals. In the video from early July, a man could only be seen from the waist down performing the act. Married couple killed (White) mother, son for money, Orlando police say   ORLANDO,
Fla. - Money may have been the motive behind a recent double homicide in Orlando. Orlando Police Department officials said Cynthia Stack, 52, and her son, 22-year-old Sean Stack were found shot to death in their West Jefferson apartment July 18. Amelia Bissoon, 25, and her husband, 28-year-old Joshua Ramsawmy, are charged with first-degree murder in connection with their deaths. According to court documents, Bissoon worked at Chase Bank in downtown Orlando. Cynthia Stack's father was a loyal client of hers and followed her when she moved locations. The investigation shows Bissoon drafted two $25,000 checks from that client's account in March and made them out to her son, who is younger than 18 years old. Ramsawmy then opened two accounts at Bank of America with the $50,000, documents show. Police say Cynthia Stack began to question the transactions taking place with her father's account. Those questions, authorities said, was the motive behind her and her son's death. Reports say Ramsawmy bought a gun and used it to kill them both. During the sentencing for 32-year-old Franklyn Williams, convicted for three armed robberies, Judge John Russo ordered him to be silent multiple times. Video shot inside the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court shows Williams apparently complaining about his attorneys before Judge Russo replies, "Mr. Williams, I'm the judge in the matter, shut your mouth and I will tell you when you can talk." After Williams continued to speak out, interrupting the judge and even his own attorneys, Judge Russo ordered officers to shut his mouth with tape. Six deputies stood around Williams as one applied the red tape. When Williams continued to speak, the judge instructed deputies to put another piece of tape over his mouth. Eventually, Judge Russo sentenced Williams to 24 years in prison. |
