Serial stalker of 50-year-old white women charged with murder  ESCAMBIA
COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) - The Escambia County Sheriff's Office has
arrested Antjuan Javien Sanders, 18, and charged him
with murder, sexual battery and burglary in the death of 58-year-old
Susan Midyett. Midyett's body was
discovered on February 23, 2017 in a home in the 5000 block of
Statler Ave. Her cause of death was initially believed to be
natural, but the investigation revealed she was the victim of a
homicide and that she had been sexually assaulted. Her home
had also been burglarized.Sheriff David Morgan, in a Thursday afternoon press conference, says Sanders is a suspect in other burglaries in the area. Morgan believes Sanders would stalk his victims, mostly white women in their 50's for several days before burglarizing them. Nick Biebricher says Sanders robbed him twice, once at his old home and then at his new home. He says last November, Sanders stole his car full of music equipment. "I was running sound for the Frank Brown International Song Writers Festival and volunteering my time to do that and just loaded all of my gear up and Antjuan stole it all." Biebricher said. He says Sanders would terrorize people in his old neighborhood, especially women. "We all had our suspicions," Biebricher said. "Especially after a friend of mine Tina Morrison, he [threw] a brick through her house, and tried to assault her. She luckily said I have a gun in here and he took off." - (Black-on-white) |

Man Stabbed In Neck At Ventura Steakhouse Dies; (black) Homeless

(CBSLA) – A man stabbed in the neck while dining at a Ventura
restaurant Wednesday night has died, and a black 49-year-old
homeless man was arrested in the attack after being chased onto a
nearby beach by Good Samaritans.According to Ventura police, at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, the suspect, identified as Jamal Jackson, entered Aloha Steakhouse, located at 364 S. California St., and stabbed a man in the neck with a knife in what appeared to be a random attack. The victim, later identified as Anthony Mele, was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening wounds, where he underwent surgery. However, authorities confirmed that he died from his injuries Thursday. Mele was dining with his wife and 5-year-old daughter at the time, police said. His daughter was sitting in his lap when he was attacked. Mele’s wife and child were not hurt. Good Samaritans chased the suspect, Jackson, onto the Ventura Promenade, where officers arrived and took him into custody. Prior to the stabbing, witnesses told police the suspect was waving a knife and threatening people outside the restaurant. - (Black-on-white) |

27-year-old Jamal Jackson told her: “God can’t help you
now.” Judge Nigel Lithman jailed Jackson for 10 years and four
months, saying: “You subjected her to an hour of torment.”
Prosecutor Martin Mulgrew said Jackson had brandished a knife with a
black handle and smooth edge. “She was terrified and prayed in her
head,” said Mr Mulgrew. “He told her to strip and get on top of him.
He said he would put the knife down if she did not scream or pray.
He raped her and caused her pain.” |

Prosecutors have advised Ruben and his wife, Anita, that he will likely speak on Tuesday. Anita Acosta, who has helped to keep the restaurant open since the shooting, said that she and Ruben both want to be in court to face the shooter, though Ruben is extremely nervous, she said. South Memphis Man Convicted Of Raping Young Girl - The

COUNTY D.A. RELEASE) - A 24-year-old man was convicted Thursday of
raping a young girl in South Memphis for a period of nearly 18
months beginning in 2014, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy
Weirich.A Criminal Court jury convicted Octavious Therion Wright of rape of a child, a felony that carries a minimum of 25 years in prison without the possibility of parole. The incidents occurred at his residence beginning in June of 2014 and ending in December of 2015 when teachers at the girl’s school noticed she was walking with discomfort. The girl was 6 years old when the sexual assaults began. A second child rape case against Wright is pending. |

(KDKA) — Charges have been filed in a violent case that police say
involved kidnapping, threats, and sexual assault. Police
allege two cousins acted together to kidnap a woman and sexually
assault her and her boyfriend while holding them captive. The
cousins criminally charged are 35-year-old Jeravn Paolucci
and 29-year-old Tyisha Ramsey. Police say Ramsey was living
at what’s now a boarded up home on Mohler Street in Homewood and
knows the male victim from the neighborhood. Ramsey kidnapped the
female victim on March 31, and drove her to Paolucci’s house in
Ambridge. Paolucci and Ramsey terrorized and assaulted the boyfriend
and girlfriend for more than 12-hours. The female victim was forced
at gunpoint to take off her clothes and raped. Police say both
victims were forced to perform other sexual acts against their will
while some of it was filmed. |

from Philadelphia. Naim Ballard is accused of sexually assaulting two juveniles. Police say the victims reported the assaults to a guidance counselor at their high school. Ballard is accused of sexually assaulting first a 15 year old girl then a 17 year old girl. “Alcohol seemed to be a factor in this incident. Both young females became intoxicated and the male actor had taken advantage of that. Ballard told the judge he was prosecuted at the age of 13 for sex crimes. |

GA (CBS46) - Officers with the Conyers Police Department rescued a
20-year-old woman from sex trafficking on April 13. Officers
received a phone call from a friend of the victim who was concerned
for her welfare. When officers conducted a welfare check at the
Horizon Extended Stay hotel, they found the victim, a 20-year-old
woman from Washington state, being held at the hotel providing
sexual services in exchange for money. Brad Gaskins, 36, was
arrested as a result. The victim had recently moved to the Atlanta
area, and she and Gaskins met in DeKalb County and he offered her a
place to stay. |

Man Sentenced For Raping Employee At Knifepoint In Apartment  BENSALEM,
Pa. (CBS) – A man who admitted to raping a female employee in a
Bensalem apartment last summer has been sentenced. Christopher
Henneghan, 24, was sentenced Monday to 12 to 25 years in state
prison. Prosecutors say Henneghan and the victim lived together in
the apartment along with another co-worker. Investigators say
Henneghan punched the woman in the face and raped her repeatedly at
knifepoint. The woman then hid in a closet and texted 911 for help.
Henneghan had also hired the woman as a door-to-door sales trainee. |

pepper sprayed a Wawa employee after a mistake was made with her
sandwich order. It happened at the Wawa at 1450 Forrest Avenue, just
after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Dover Police say 34-year-old Tiffany
Evans started yelling at an employee who was preparing her
sandwich because she believed he was making a mistake. A female
co-worker then told Evans to stop yelling and that another sandwich
would be made. That’s when police say she threw hot coffee at the
employee and pepper-sprayed her. |

Man charged with murder (of a White man) in Bakersville shooting
Monday  MITHCELL
COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A Kingsport man is charged with murder in a
Bakersville shooting that happened Monday on Odom's Chapel Road. The
Mitchell County Sheriff tells News 13 that Demetrius Lamar
Bolden, 41, of Kingsport, Tennessee, is charged with murder in
the death of 28-year-old Lincoln Adam Young
in Bakersville Monday night. On Tuesday morning, the sheriff’s
office says that Bolden was taken into custody in Johnson
City. Sheriff Donald Street says Young died from a gunshot
wound. The sheriff's office says Young was found outside his home.
Authorities say a 911 call came in about 10 p.m. Monday. Deputies on

Memphis man who attacked, kidnapped (white) woman refuses to say
where he left her     MEMPHIS,
Tenn. - A Memphis man who is accused of assaulted and kidnapping a
woman is in jail, but the woman he allegedly abducted is still
missing. The incident began to unfold Monday in the parking lot of
the Motel 61 on S. Third. A man told police he was sitting in a car
with Tayrn Webster, 26, when a gold Honda Accord pulled up
and tried to block them. Webster was able to drive around that car,
according to the witness, and she drove away. The Accord followed
her until she ultimately crashed into a pole at Brooks Road and
Hilda, according to police. Witnesses told police the driver of the
Accord got out of his vehicle, assaulted Webster, and then forced
her into his car before driving away, according to the arrest
affidavit. A witness identified the driver of the Accord as Eric
Wells, 43. She also has a pink tongue ring and a
tattoo of a star on the top of her foot. |

Arrest (Black) That Beat a (White) Bus Driver On Camera  MINNEAPOLIS
(WCCO) — Police have made an arrest in the case of a Metro Transit
bus driver who was brutally attacked on the job last week. The
assault happened last week on the Route 5 bus in north Minneapolis.
A rider caught the entire unprovoked beating on camera and posted it
to social media. “I don’t know anybody who can look at this video
and think that it is anything less than disgusting,” said a
Metro Transit spokesman. Since then, transit police officers
have been searching for the suspect. On Wednesday morning, police
said they’d taken 26-year-old Sterling Verloz Smith into
custody, and he’s being held on charges of third-degree assault, and
obstructing operation of a transit vehicle. He may also receive a
fourth-degree assault charge. The attack left the bus driver with blood on his nose and upper lip, an abrasion to his right eyelid, and several scrapes on his forehead, according to the complaint. The driver told police he was suffering from double-vision as a result of the assault, as well. He’s still resting at home. Transit officials say shortly before the assault, three (black) women boarded a bus at Emerson and 15th Avenue North and one started swearing. When the driver asked her to stop, one woman became combative, so authorities were called and the bus was stopped. suspect in a horrific case of felony animal abuse over the weekend
that was captured in a disturbing surveillance video. Police said

MI -- A local man has been found guilty of an animal cruelty charge
related to abandoning his dog and leaving it to starve to death. A
bench trial in Saginaw County District Court ended Thursday, April
12, with Judge M. Randall Jurrens finding Ishmael T. Rembert
guilty of animal cruelty-death to one animal. The charge is a
misdemeanor punishable by up to 93 days in jail and a $1,000
fine. Rembert had been living at the home before moving
out in December 2016, leaving his approximately 1-year-old
Rottweiler behind, Stoffel said. A maintenance person on Feb. 4,
2017, found the dog deceased in a bathroom, Stoffel said. The dog
had died from apparent malnutrition, she said. |

at the Largo Mall on Wednesday. Officers took Jarvis Boatwright,

He returned to the mall sometime Monday and was arrested and charged with exposure of sexual organs. He has been arrested about 20 times in Pinellas County. murder after allegedly trying to rob another man following a game of
dice. On Wednesday, April 11, police were called to the
Memphis Inn on American Way after a man’s body was discovered

led from there to another crime scene on the second floor of the
motel. Inside one of the rooms were multiple shell casings, bullet

of a woman in Warren County.On April 2nd, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at a home in the 8600 block of Warren Drive. When they arrived, officials found the body of 25-year-old Mercedes Wathen of Cambridge. A material witness warrant was then issued for 18-year-old Jacquarious J’Ray Scoggins of Des Moines, who was considered a person of interest in the case. with a gas station robbery last weekend.It happened on April 1 at the Shell gas station located on the 2400 block of Pulaski Highway in Newark. Police say Police say Tyquan L. Gary, 30, of Bear, approached the 68-year-old gas station and made a purchase. That’s when police say Gary reached into the cash drawer and removed an undisclosed amount of money. “Gary then walked behind the counter, forced the clerk to the ground, and then removed an undetermined quantity of lottery tickets from the display rack, before fleeing in an unknown direction,” police said in a news release. |

(CBSLA) — An Irvine man is charged with hate crimes for
threatening to kill Jewish people and possessing anti-Semitic
literature and ammunition. Nicholas Rose, 26, was charged
in court Thursday with attempted criminal threats, violation of
civil rights and the sentencing enhancement of a hate crime,
which carries a 6-year, 6-month sentence. Officials say a
