Third (BLACK) suspect arrested in Dadeville shooting, homicide (of White man)    DADEVILLE, AL - A third suspect has been arrested in connection to a Dadeville homicide and shooting investigation. The Dadeville Police Department says Tavorick Laquaz Black, 18, is charged with one count of murder. The charges are related to a shooting that took place shortly after midnight on Thursday in the area of Jah Street. Officers were called to the area after receiving reports of gunshots. When officers arrived on the scene they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Police say one of the victims, John Farrel Adamson, 27 of Jacksons Gap, died at the hospital. The other, 37-year-old Gerald A. Haggerty also of Jacksons Gap, was airlifted to another hospital and is in stable condition. Two other suspects, Camp Hill man Dazmon Notorious Shaw, 22, and Jacksons Gap resident Daquon Denzel Sheeley, 21, were also arrested and charged with one count each of murder. Sheeley's bond has not been set and he is also being held on a probation violation. Shaw remains in jail on a $250,000 bond. No word on a bond amount for Black. - (Black-on-white) |

Officers were called to Regions Hospital on Wednesday about 3 a.m., where the woman was being treated. The woman, who recently became homeless, said she began talking to a man downtown and they agreed to walk to a store together, said Sgt. Mike Ernster, a St. Paul police spokesman. She realized they were walking farther away from the store and then the man punched her in the head multiple times, Ernster said. The man sexually assaulted the woman in the area of Fourth and Commercial streets, near the Lafayette Bridge and Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary. The woman was disoriented from being punched, and investigators are working with her to determine the location of the crime and when it occurred, Ernster said. It was believed to be Wednesday about 1 a.m. Investigators checked the area and found a surveillance image of the suspect near Union Depot, Ernster said. Police released the photo on Thursday and said the man is described as black, short and skinny, about 34 or 35 years old. He wore a brown coat. Police ask anyone with information to call them at 651-266-5685. |

Jarmal J. Massey, 34, is wanted on charges of rape, kidnapping, nonconsensual disclosure of a private image, harassment by phone calls and extortion. According to the New Orleans Police Department, Massey was identified Friday as the suspect in a series of violent crimes, including rape, that occurred as he kept the victim against her will in the 7500 block of Rochon Avenue. |

(BLACK) Former Airman Faces Up to 15-Years for Alleged Sexual Abuse of Teen  A former Dover Air Force Base airman is facing up to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges involving the alleged sexual abuse of a teenage runaway. Twenty-one-year-old Akeem Beazer of Pompano Beach, Florida, is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 3 after pleading guilty Thursday to sex abuse of a minor. In return for his acceptance of responsibility, prosecutors say they will not oppose a reduction in the factors used to calculate his sentence. Beazer's guilty plea comes after prosecutors said in court papers earlier this month that searches of Facebook accounts and cellphones had uncovered materials giving rise to additional charges against him. Another airman, 25-year-old Dalian Washington of Philadelphia, also is charge with sex abuse of a minor, as well as sex trafficking of a child. |

The pack of teens then pummeled the family, dropping them on the floor. The family had “significant injuries,” Smith said. Marquita Washington, 26, is charged with first degree arson and knowingly burning or exploding. The door to unit 211 at Gotham Apartments on Linwood Blvd. is now black from smoke and fire. Court records say Tuesday night, Marquita Washington was pacing the halls flicking a lighter. “It was really kind of tragic and dangerous as well. I really didn’t know what was going on,” a neighbor said. The neighbor, who didn’t want to be identified, first found out there was a problem around 9 p.m. Tuesday. DUI wetback disappears after slaughtering a Tennessee white mother, 37 - A mother's search for drunk driver who killed daughter   More than six months after her daughter was killed in a head-on collision with a drunk driver, a Tennessee mother is still chasing the man authorities say is responsible for that fatal crash. The driver, identified by authorities as 30-year-old Alan Jacob Mogollon-Anaya, disappeared shortly after the accident and can't be found. It was his fourth DWI. "I want justice for my daughter. I want closure," said Cindy Scalf of Gray, Tennessee. "It's not going to bring her back, but he needs to be a man and face up to the consequences. He took a life." Scalf's daughter, 37-year-old Shirra Nicole Branum, was killed March 16. Branum's 9-year-old son was seriously injured in the crash. She is survived by her husband and two other children. The oldest just started college. "She's missed so many milestones," Scalf said tearfully. Branum's middle daughter was crowned prom queen and her son won Fall Festival King. " She's missing all of this." Branum died about three hours after the accident. She was trapped inside her vehicle, but conscious. She was able to give emergency officials the code to unlock her phone and people to contact, Scalf said. "My grandson said that she was praying and telling him how sorry she was that the accident had happened, and he told her 'Mama, it wasn't your fault.'" |

HISPANIC Teen accused of shooting (White female) cop in the face is charged with attempted murder  The teen accused of shooting a 26-year-old Yonkers police officer in the face was charged with attempted murder in a bedside arraignment at Westchester County Medical Center, officials said Friday. Frank Valencia, 18, of New Rochelle in Westchester was charged Thursday with first-degree attempted murder and second-degree weapons possession, both felonies. The injured cop, Kayla Maher, 26, was responding to a noise complaint just after 8 p.m. Monday when Valencia allegedly opened fire with a .40-caliber Glock 23 pistol. A bullet struck Maher, a second-generation Yonkers cop, in the chin. She was released from the hospital Tuesday. Valencia had been granted parole by a Bronx judge just days earlier, A second defendant, 21-year-old Jerry Reyes, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon Wednesday, police said. Reyes was allegedly sitting in a parked car with Valencia at the time of the incident. |

(BLACK) Suspect arrested in massive shopping center fire that killed (White) firefighter  SAN ANTONIO — More than four months after a local firefighter died while battling a massive fire at a shopping center, Bexar County District Attorney confirmed police have arrested a suspect in the case. Authorities say Emond J. Johnson is believed to be involved in setting the fire that killed firefighter Scott Deem and injured firefighters Brad Phipps and Robert Vasquez. According to the Bexar County Magistrate's Office, Johnson is charged with murder, two counts of arson and bodily injury, two counts of arson, and one count of family assault. According to police records, when confronted with video proof that he was at the gym near the time of the fire, Johnson admitted using his lighter to ignite a gasoline/oil mix in the back room of the gym. When we were at the scene, Johnson said he owned the Spartan Box Gym in the shopping center. Police records show that he admitted getting eviction notices for the gym in the days leading up to the fire. Prosecutors charged Terrell A. Smith with the fatal shooting Stormi Harbord, 31. Police found Harbord inside a residence at 1309 S. 20th St. early Sept. 30. In a probable cause statement, Richard Woodley, a St. Joseph Police Department detective, stated officers believe Smith fired a gun and the bullet struck the victim in the head. A blood sample at the time of the investigation revealed Smith was high on marijuana, methamphetamine and benzodiazepines. Police asked the prosecutor’s office to file a second felony charge of unlawful possession of a firearm. As of noon, a second charge hasn’t been filed. A GoFundMe page was established over the weekend for Harbord, of St. Joseph. The page described her as having five children between the ages of 5 and 12. Barry Wade Allen is charged on a grand jury indictment with statutory sex offense with a child greater than 13 years of age and defendant six years or more older and taking indecent liberties with a child, Sheriff Derrick Palmer said in a statement released on Wednesday. The sheriff said the incident was reported in June and the case was presented to the grand jury in July. |

The woman was not injured during the incident. Houston rapper, woman charged after allegedly shooting at homes, posting it on Snapchat A Houston man and woman were charged Monday after viral Snapchat videos filmed last month showed the pair allegedly shooting randomly at buildings from a moving vehicle. Michael Anthony Cuellar, 28, and Sierra Tarbutton, 27, were charged with “felony criminal mischief and deadly conduct” after authorities received Snapchat videos reportedly showing the pair shooting aimlessly at a Houston neighborhood while driving around on Sept. 26, Fox 26 reported. Tarbutton was arrested Monday and Cuellar turned himself in on Tuesday. Tarbutton and Cuellar both have had “run-ins with the law,” the arrest warrant stated. Cuellar, a rapper, who reportedly goes by “Money Mike,” is a known drug dealer. Tarbutton, who declared she knew cartel members, threatened a police officer’s daughters in the past, court documents stated. “That is two cute little girls, those are going to be two cute little tombstones.” |

Authorities say the "terroristic threats" were made on social media and threatened to kill people on the San Antonio strip. The San Antonio-native also threatened to kill people in Oklahoma City and compared his plan to the Las Vegas shootings that killed 59 people. |

According to a criminal complaint, Camden resident Maleia Cole was taken into police custody on Monday in connection with a September 2nd assault that caused the death of Jason Lewis weeks later. Police search for Pa. couple they say admitted waterboarding daughter, 12 ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — Police are searching for a Pennsylvania couple accused of waterboarding a 12-year-old girl. Malisa and Dion Stevens have been missing since May, when police issued warrants for their arrest. Weeks earlier, the 12-year-old girl — who the Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports is their daughter — allegedly told a neighbor she was being punished with water in the basement of a home back in April. "[She said they] would take her down into the basement and tie her to a chair and if she screamed, they shoved water down her threat," the neighbor, who did not want to be identified, told CBS Pittsburgh. |
(African-american, colored and/or black) Milwaukee mother charged with intentional homicide after setting 4-year-old on fire in bathtub   MILWAUKEE -- Amelia Distasio, 23-years-old, is now charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide following the death of her 4-year-old son. Warning: Graphic Details The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to the home in the 1700 block of Grant Street around 7:30 a.m. on September 28 for a report of smoke. Upon arrival, crews located a pile of clothes in the bathtub smoldering. Inside the bathtub was also the body of a lifeless child with his hands bound behind his back with seven belts. The child had a plastic garbage bag over his head and the majority of his body was burned. A pet guinea pig was also found drowned in the cage next to the bathtub. According to the criminal complaint, a resident of the apartment that Distasio and her 4-year-old son lived in told police that she heard yelling on Wednesday evening. She allegedly heard the victim say, "Please mommy, stop! I won't do it again!" She then allegedly heard the suspect yell: "Shut up!" A witness told police that she saw the suspect running away from the home looking "frazzled" on the date the homicide occurred. Distasio was taken into custody shortly before noon on September 28. Officers conducted a search on the suspect's phone and found that she had searched for "Canabsls due." "How do canabals die" and "How to kill a canabal." The suspect's Google searches were done shortly before the homicide. After this search, the cell phone accessed a message board that was dedicated to an online game which is billed online as a horror survival game in which players fight cannibals. Specifically, the message board accessed by this phone detailed the ways to kill cannibals within the game. The message board recommended that the first way to combat a cannibal was to “Kill it with fire!” Additionally, the game message board discussed how in the video game, cannibals often “like to bath in oil.” Complainant finds this to be significant as there was an open bottle of canola cooking oil in the bathroom in which the victim had set on fire. - (Burned Alive!) |
(BLACK) Child molester beats pup to death in front of 6-year-old A convicted child molester beat his small dog to death in front a child and threw the pup's body in the trash, prosecutors said Thursday. George Reid, 37, was indicted on aggravated animal cruelty charges, after police and prosecutors found surveillance video of the gruesome attack inside Reid's Belmont apartment building. Reid punched, kicked and slammed the small pooch to the ground in a building on Belmont Ave. by E. 187th St. on Aug. 16, authorities said. At one point, a 6-year-old girl watched as he held his pet by the neck and pummeled it. Reid took the dog out of the building in a garbage bag, and it was later found in a trash bin, prosecutors said. “The defendant was cruel and relentless in his incomprehensible attack on a small, defenseless animal,” said Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark. “Surveillance video captured this horror and we will now work hard to obtain justice; we emphasize our continued dedication to protecting vulnerable animals.” In 2006, Reid was convicted of accosting a child for immoral purpose in Michigan, in a case involving sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 18 months behind bars. |
Fairfield Police Seek (BLACK) Suspect Who Beat a Dog to Death  FAIRFIELD, CA — Fairfield police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person suspected of beating a dog on Thursday, which later died of its injuries. At 12:04 p.m., police received a report of an animal being abused in the alley south of the 800 block of Ohio Street. Responding officers learned from a witness that the injured dog, a tan-colored male pit bull about four years old, had already been taken to a nearby animal shelter for treatment, police said. According to police, the witness told officers that a short time earlier three men in their 20s were standing around the dog, which was chained by its collar to a fence with only its rear legs able to touch the ground. One of the men swung a bat and struck the dog on the head. The suspect that hit the dog was described as a black man in his 20s with a thin build. After the attack, the suspect and the two other men got into a gold 2004 or 2005 Chevy Tahoe and fled, possibly south on Jackson Street, police said. The witness was able to identify some of the figures of the license plate as “WB2V.” The dog suffered life-threatening injuries, from which it died the following day, police said. |

  Police have arrested a 16-year-old NWORD-POS accused of kidnapping and robbing an elderly couple in Oklahoma, then fatally shooting a 44-year-old man at his home. Tulsa Police Sgt. Dave Walker says the teenager forced the elderly couple to drive to an ATM and withdraw cash Sunday, then forced the couple back to their home where he sexually assaulted the woman. Walker says the teen, identified as 16-year-old Deonte Green then ran to a nearby home, where a woman and her two daughters were in the garage and preparing to leave. Police say the Green forced the woman and children back into the home, where he encountered and fatally shot the woman's 44-year-old husband, Broken Arrow Public Schools geography teacher Shane Anderson. 'The husband fought with Green, and Green shot the husband,' Walker said in a news release. 'The husband continued to struggle with Green before collapsing inside the house.' Green allegedly sexually assaulted the woman during the robbery and robbed the couple of cash and a handgun. He then fled on foot away from the home where the killing took place. Walker says 16-year-old was arrested late Sunday on complaints of murder, armed robbery and sexual assault. (Black) Man arrested on child sex charges 8 days after release from jail, Titusville PD says TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Detectives arrested a man who they said sexually abused a child after he was released following charges for a similar crime days earlier. According to police, Wilbert Sailor, 66, of Titusville was arrested on Monday on suspicion of battery of a child under the age of 12. The victim's mother contacted authorities and told them Sailor sexually abused her child the Saturday before. Sailor, who allegedly knew the victim, was released from jail eight days prior for a similar crime that was dismissed, detectives said. |
U.S. Marshals arrest (black) rape suspect in Dayton DAYTON, Ohio - A rape suspect who authorities say has been on the run since June of this year has been arrested by U.S. Marshals. The SOFAST Task Force, which stands of Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, have arrested Ali Payne, 39. Dayton Police were called in July of 2017 to a home on Oakridge to investigate a reported assault and rape. Payne was charged with Rape, Kidnapping and Domestic Violence on July 20, 2017, but authorities say he was avoiding police. SOFAST tracked Payne down and arrested him Monday morning, October 2, at an address on Brooklyn Avenue. He is now in custody at the Montgomery County Jail. |

Shelton said that on the afternoon of August 13, Lugo allegedly followed the victim on Weeks Avenue in the Bronx, and near the intersection of East 173rd Street, covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming, and placed a gun to her head. Deadly Tennessee church shooting: (BLACK AFRICAN) Sudanese immigrant arrested, FBI to launch civil rights investigation  One woman was killed and seven other people were hurt after a suspect identified as a Sudanese immigrant opened fire at a Tennessee church Sunday, police said, as federal officials told Fox News the FBI will initiate a civil rights investigation into the shooting. The suspect, 25-year-old Emanuel Kidega Samson, immigrated from Sudan two decades ago, police said. He's suspected of bringing two pistols and a mask to the predominantly white Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, southeast of Nashville, before opening fire just after 11 a.m.Metropolitan Nashville Police Department tweeted that Samson had been released from the hospital and will be charged with murder and attempted murder. Photos from a Facebook page under Samson's name seemed to show him lifting weights and showing off his physique. A post earlier Sunday read: "Everything you've ever doubted or made to be believe as false, is real. & vice versa, B." Another post read, "Become the creator instead of what's created. What you say, goes." Police have not commented on the Facebook posts. An usher, identified as Robert Engle, 22, confronted the gunman at one point and was pistol-whipped, causing "significant injury around his head," police added. They said Engle went to his own car, grabbed a pistol and headed back into the church. Law enforcement confirmed Samson is a legal U.S. resident who immigrated from Sudan in 1996. Police said that Burnette Chapel churchgoers recognized Samson as attending their church one to two years ago, but noted he hadn't attended services "in quite a while." The woman who was shot and killed in the church parking lot, identified as Melanie Smith, 39, was walking to her car when she was hit, police said. The gunman, with his blue vehicle still running in the parking lot, then entered the back of the church and shot six people – three women and three men – who were rushed to the hospital, police said. Police identified those being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and in stable condition as: William Jenkins, 83; Marlene Jenkins, 84; Peggy Spann, 65; and Linda Busch, 68. Fredrick Demond Scott, a 22-year-old black male, has been charged this week with the murder of Steven Gibbons and John Palmer, two middle-aged white males. Gibbons was reportedly found dead on August 14 of this year and Gibbons was killed in Aug. 2016. Scott is also a suspect in three other killings of white men. GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Rabbi Fred Guttman walks the halls of Temple Emanuel in Greensboro, looking at pictures of the young men and women who have called this community home over the years. Shocking footage has emerged of an unsuspecting victim strolling down the street in Rosenberg, Texas before being laid out by a thug. The passerby was caught completely unaware by the blow which instantly knocked him unconscious with such force that it sent his hat flying off his head. Bystanders failed to help the man after he thudded to the floor in footage released by local cops. DETROIT - Detroit police are searching for a suspect after a home invasion and attempted sexual assault early Tuesday morning in Midtown Detroit. According to police, it happened in the 4600 block of St. Antoine St., which is between Canfield and Warren near the Detroit Medical Center. The 59-year-old woman told police she saw a naked, heavy-set man crawling into her bed holding himself. She screamed and he took off, she she took off down the stairs, hitting him with a broom. The woman's daughter also joined in the chase. He left out the back door, but police were able to get a fingerprint from the window he broke in through. He is described as a black male, 5-feet-7, bald and a heavy build. Anyone with information is asked to call Detroit police. 
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A Liberian accused of war crimes during the country’s first civil war falsely told an immigration official he was being persecuted in his homeland so he could enter the U.S., a federal prosecutor said Tuesday at the start of his fraud trial. 
A “heartless crook” who left a woman and her son homeless by pocketing nearly $100,000 of their money as part of a long-running mortgage scam was slapped with charges Tuesday. Ravin Lakhram offered to help his victim modify her mortgage payments after she discovered her son had taken out a second mortgage on their two-family-home, a prosecutor said. Yet the former Universal Mortgage employee never filed the appropriate paperwork, and instead allegedly lied to the woman – saying he’d knocked more than $1,000 off her monthly payments. Then, from 2010 to 2015, he pocketed the $1,567 monthly installments she gave him, instead of depositing them with the bank.
