A father of two has been shot dead in a suspected carjacking gone wrong, likely after he refused to hand over the car keys with his daughter strapped into the back seat. Gerard Grandzol, 38, was fatally shot in the face at point-blank range around 8pm on Thursday, just after he parked his SUV on the one-way street outside his family's home in Philadelphia. Grandzol, the married father of the two-year-old daughter in the car and a five-week-old newborn daughter, worked as the executive director of Special Counsel, a legal recruiting and staffing firm. Police sources speculated to the Philadelphia Inquirer that Grandzol was shot in a carjacking after he gave up his wallet but refused to hand over his car keys to protect his daughter in the back seat. Grandzol's daughter and the family dog, Oscar, were both found unharmed in the car by responding officers.
'We believe the motive was robbery. And we believe the victim's wallet was taken. But for some unknown reason, the perpetrator fired two shots,' Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said. Said one neighbor 'By the time we ran up to him, people were bandaging him, holding him... and right in the head, right in the face, there was a pool of blood.' Grandzol was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9.42pm. Family members have created a GoFundMe page to help Grandzol's wife and children. The suspect in the shooting has been described as a black male in his teens or early 20s wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and tan colored pants. Some witnesses described two suspects, both in dark hooded sweatshirts, fleeing from the scene, police said. - (Black-on-white) |

BLACK LOOTERS IN FORT LAUDERDALE * Police arrest Hurricane Irma looters caught on camera Can't say we didn't warn you...28 YOs Ryan Cook & Max Saintvil each face 6 counts of burglary from overnight “Going to prison over a pair of sneakers is a fairly bad life decision,” Fort Lauderdale police Chief Rick Maglione said in a statement. “Stay home and look after your loved ones and be thankful they are all safe.” Miami-Dade County had yet to receive a single looting call as of 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon, said detective Marjorie Eloi, who was stationed Sunday at the county emergency operations center. "Thankfully we've got great residents in Miami-Dade County," Eloi said. Looting is a major concern for residents during mandatory evacuations, and a reason some people refuse to leave their property behind. In many disasters, police and National Guard troops patrol the streets to help allay such fears, but Irma’s strong winds have prompted some public safety agencies to temporarily withdraw from the streets. |

(White) Woman dies while fleeing rape (by black man), police say. Now friends wonder: Was it murder? People who knew Shannon Keithley shudder when they imagine her terror the morning she died. They know she made a 911 call during her escape from an intruder in her Kansas City, Kan., home around 5 a.m. on Aug. 18. A kitchen knife left in the driveway where she kept her SUV suggests to them she fought her way free. Then, less than a mile from her house, her SUV smashed into a massive concrete pillar on Leavenworth Road at the Interstate 635 overpass, killing her at the scene. She was 39. She was not wearing a seatbelt. “Shannon always wore her seatbelt,” said Gail Henry, who family described as a mother figure to Keithley. She had been so tough through many dangers and crises in her life, close friend Joe Behan said. “What had this guy done to her?” Police believe a man busted into her house and raped her. Thirty-five-year-old Orlando Taylor of Kansas City, Kan., is in jail, charged with those crimes. Now Keithley’s family and friends want to know: Was she murdered? “She was panicking, that’s for sure,” said her father, Richard Keithley. He cited the Kansas statute for felony murder, saying it may be possible the man charged in the rape could be held responsible for her death after she drove away. A first-degree murder charge can be brought in “the killing of a human being committed…in the commission of, attempt to commit, or flight from an inherently dangerous felony…” The investigation is ongoing. Wyandotte County District Attorney Mark Dupree’s office would not speculate on a felony murder charge. - (Black-on-white) |

Calvin L. Carter III, 24, declined to appear in a Winnebago County courtroom for his sentencing. He was convicted on July 17 of gunning the four down inside their Rockford apartment. Carter’s ex-girlfriend, Martia Flint, her boyfriend, Demontae Rhodes, and her two sons were fatally shot execution style on Dec. 20, 2014. Calling the murders “cold and calculated,” Associate Judge Fernando Engelsma appeared emotional as he handed down the sentences. “These children were executed. It wasn’t simply a murder,” Engelsma said. Carter will receive credit for 983 days already spent in jail. Carter’s lead defense attorney, First Deputy Public Defender Nick Zimmerman, immediately filed an appeal. Carter waived his right to attend his sentencing and didn’t submit a written statement to be read in court. Rolanda Collins, Martia Flint’s mother, said from the witness stand that she wanted Carter locked up forever. “May the same demons you worshipped terrorize your soul in hell,” Collins said. Marilyn Hite Ross, chief of the criminal bureau for the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office, asked for two life sentences while Zimmerman didn’t specify an amount. |

But he acquitted McWilliams of a sex crime, even though surveillance video showed McWilliams allegedly forcing himself on a (White) female motorist and then later pleasuring himself inside the station. That decision normally would have gotten McWilliams off the hook for registering as a sex offender. The victim and Northlake’s police chief were disappointed at what they saw as leniency by the judge. Thursday, at McWilliams’ sentencing, a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney said McWilliams is “the poster boy for the maximum sentence.” After hours of debate, citing case precedent, the judge agreed. He handed down a 30-year sentence to a stunned McWilliams and said he would have to register as a sex offender. “Though insufficient to establish guilt,” Judge Hill said, “the evidence is sufficient to meet the lower threshold of proof for purposes of the Sex Offender Registration Act.” - (Black-on-white) |

Police in Georgia are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect who was caught on video stealing a woman's purse and running her over with a pickup truck. The Gwinnett County Police Department on Thursday released surveillance video recorded at around 6pm on August 9 in Peachtree Corners, capturing the violent mugging. The CCTV footage depicts the victim walking on Technology Parkway with her purse slung from her shoulder when a blue Honda Ridgeline pulls up next to her. A few seconds later, a female suspect emerges from the front passenger seat and yanks the victim's bag with force. Instead of letting go of the purse, police say the woman put up a fight and was hurled to the ground by the attacker. The video shows the suspect pulling the woman's bag out of her grasp and jumping back into her truck, but the victim continues resisting. The woman was still holding onto to her bag when the Honda took off from the scene. According to police, the victim was dragged down the driveway of the nearby Marriott hotel until the truck ran over her foot and she had to let go of her purse. - (Black-on-white) |
(White) Man with axe stops (bushy-haired black babboon with behavioral issues) attacking his girlfriend in home invasion PINELLAS PARK, Florida — Police say it took an axe to stop a 17-year-old during a home invasion. Pinellas Park police arrested Matthew Cleveland after he allegedly attacked a woman at her front door. Alex McMaster says he woke up at about 8:45 Wednesday morning to the sounds of a disturbance in his own home. "My girlfriend started screaming. I came downstairs," he recalled. The airline pilot found his 33-year-old girlfriend, Christina Robles, and 17-year-old Matthew Cleveland near the front door. "[He had on] nice khakis, button-down shirt. If someone like that is knocking on your door, you don't think anything to bad," said McMaster. But police say Cleveland was punching and choking her, even slamming her head into the wall after she opened the door. Before the attack, Cleveland had asked McMaster's girlfriend if she knew where a park was. Neighbors now say they saw Cleveland prowling around just before. McMaster says that's when he punched and slammed the teen to the ground. "I held him there a minute till he calmed down," said McMCaster. "Then I grabbed an axe that I had and held it above him and told him to follow my commands or I could do something else to him." McMaster says that was when Cleveland confessed to a robbery attempt. "I asked him what he was doing. He said he was trying to get money off her," said McMaster. "He said he would have hurt her." Police are thankful he was there, given Robles already took a number of shots to the body and head. "We don't know what his mindset was or what the ultimate goal was, but it could have been real bad," said Sgt. Mike Lynch of the Pinellas Park Police Dept. Police say Cleveland is a student at the Richard Sanders school in Pinellas Park, a school for teens with behavioral issues. McMaster is glad he was home, and that his axe was nearby. - (Black-on-white) |

White fornicating female is BURNED ALIVE by the BLACK she was sleeping with after saying she was breaking up with him HUDSON FALLS - What appeared at first to be a terrible tragedy is now charged as an intentional act. Police have arrested 22-year-old Derrick Guilder, accusing him of intentionally starting the fire that killed his girlfriend, Ashley Coltrain. Guilder lived in the North Street home with Coltrain. Police say he was upset with Coltrain because she was breaking up with him and he started the fire after 4:00 Wednesday morning. Coltrain called 911 to report the fire, but did not make it out. However, Guilder did. He made it to the roof of the second story home, where police and firefighters, with the help of good Samaritans with a ladder, were able to get him down safely. Guilder was taken to Glens Falls Hospital for treatment of minor smoke inhalation. Police say it was there he made admissions about starting the fire. That confirmed police suspicious from the beginning. "Just kind of some inconsistencies in how his version of the events and the remarkable work of the investigators to prove that it didn’t happen the way he said it happened. There were some red flags along the way," explained Chief Randy Diamond with the Hudson Falls Police Department. "He told us he started it with some papers on the couch in the living room." - (Black-on-white) - (Burned Alive!) |
