(Black) Man accused of strangling (White) south Tulsa woman faced murder charges in 2008  Gregory Epperson is accused of killing 19-year-old Kelsey Tennant in her south Tulsa apartment Monday. Cops say Tennant walked into her apartment and surprised Epperson as he was burglarizing the place. Epperson was charged with murder in 2015 over a 2008 incident but those charges were dropped. Police believe Gregory Epperson was the man who killed Ray Johnson. An affidavit for that case says a witness told police that he met Epperson at his home in early to mid-September 2008. Epperson was reportedly holding a bleach bucket and spraying down his driveway with a garden hose. The witness allegedly saw blood on the ground and a body on the side of Epperson’s house. The document says Epperson put a gun to the witness’s head and forced him to help load the body into a car. Investigators found the car with hair and blood inside. But DNA checks to connect that blood and hair back to Johnson took a while to come back, so charges were dropped in January 2016. - (Black-on-white) |

Black Bullet-buyer in random killing spree gets 12 to 40 years It was a joyride gone wrong, a night of hanging out and driving around that ended in unspeakable tragedy. For Robert A. Jourdain, the predawn hours of July 5, 2015, in which he admittedly bought bullets for a friend who used them in a random shooting spree in Easton and Allentown that left three people dead, led to prison bars and regret. Judge James T. Anthony sentenced Jourdain to 12 to 40 years in a state prison. The sentence was the result of a plea deal reached when Jourdain pleaded guilty on Feb. 6 to conspiracy to commit third-degree murder. |

Delaware Black Gets 18 Years Behind Bars for Barbershop Killings  A former death-row inmate charged with killing a man and young boy at a Wilmington barbershop in 2001 has been sentenced to 18 years in prison. Friday's sentencing of 42-year-old Chauncey Starling came after he pleaded no-contest last month to second-degree murder. Starling, who has already spent 16 years behind bars, had faced a May retrial for the killings of 5-year-old Damon Gist Jr. and 28-year-old Darnell Evans. Starling was convicted in 2003 and sentenced to death, but he was granted a new trial in 2015 because of his defense attorney's mistakes and prosecutors' failure to disclose information |
Panel recommends denying clemency for two black killers  SEVIER CO., AR - The Arkansas Parole Board recommended Monday that the governor reject long-shot bids for clemency by two of inmates facing lethal injection next month. Stacey Eugene Johnson of DeQueen, Arkansas was convicted of slaying 25-year-old Carol Heath in her Sevier County Housing Authority apartment in April 1993. On Monday, the board told Gov. Asa Hutchinson the clemency requests by Johnson and Ledell Lee were without merit. Johnson, now 47, was condemned for the 1993 death of Carol Heath, who was beaten and strangled, and had her throat slit. Lee was sentenced to die for the 1993 death of Debra Reese, a neighbor who was beaten to death in her home with a tire iron that her husband had given her for protection. She was struck 36 times. |
Black teens accused of luring man, then stabbing, beating, lighting him on fire  HOUSTON - Two teenagers have been charged in the case of a man whose body was found beaten and set on fire last week in east Houston and now disturbing details are being revealed in the case. Courtney Burks, 18, and Shaquan Bennett, 18, are charged with capital murder. According to Houston police, the body was dumped behind an abandoned house on the morning of March 17, covered in a blanket and trash and then set on fire. David Standley suffered multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma to his head and face. Standley was wearing jeans and a belt, but the rest of his clothes had been burned. Prosecutors said investigators traced phone calls from Standley's phone to the cell phone number of Bennett's mother, who lives in Missouri City. A witness told police Standley was seen on his computer negotiating a price for sex with a woman, who also asked him to bring her chicken wings. Bennett said he waited in the bathroom and when Standley arrived at the apartment with the chicken wings, police said Bennett, by his own admission, used a bed rail to beat Standley and Burks repeatedly stabbed Standley with a meat fork. Bennett told police he and Burks wrapped Standley's body in a car cover from his vehicle and tied duct tape around the cover, prosecutors said. Bennett said they took the body outside through a fence and then emptied a bottle of lighter fluid onto the body and set it on fire. |

The 58-year-old victim was on the 6 train between the Pelham Bay Park and Westchester Avenue stations when he got into a fight with the suspect around 1:45 p.m. March 15. The man then whipped out a knife and stabbed the victim several times in the back and once each in the abdomen and head, cops said. Jacksonville jiggaboo offered oral sex to an undercover officer for $27 A Jacksonville man was arrested Sunday morning when he offered oral sex to an undercover officer for $27, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said. Rashad Mackey, 23, was arrested after a prostitution sting that was being conducted on Myrtle Ave., JSO said. When JSO attempted to arrest Mackey, he resisted and tried to flee, the police report said. A JSO officer deployed a Taser on Mackey, who stopped resisting and was taken into custody, JSO said. JSO said this was Mackey's fourth arrest for prostitution. He was charged with prostitution and resisting arrest. |
Police ID suspect in Belmont-area rape, kidnapping Metro police sex crimes detectives have identified Jason Jarrell Williams, 31, as the man suspected of brutally raping, kidnapping and robbing a 25-year-old Belmont-area woman Monday morning, authorities said. Arrest warrants charging Williams with especially aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery were being obtained late Monday afternoon, police spokesman Don Aaron said. Williams, who is believed to be homeless, remained at large as of about 9 p.m. |

Cops hunt two (black) brutes who beat, robbed elderly 78-year-old man Surveillance video from inside a Brooklyn deli shows a 78-year-old man being beaten up and robbed by two thugs last week, authorities said. The elderly victim was inside Shorty’s Deli on Marcus Garvey Boulevard when one of the men attacked him around noon Wednesday. The suspect punched the victim several times in the face and body before his buddy, who is not shown in the video, stole the man’s cell phone and wallet. Both suspects then fled the scene, leaving the victim with cuts and bruises to his face, cops said. Both suspects are believed to be in their 20s or 30s, stand around 5-foot-8 and have beards. |

ICE arrests illegal-immigrant father of one Rockville rape suspect: Reports   In another possible example of the “Trump effect,” U.S. immigration officials have reportedly arrested the illegal-immigrant father of one of the two "boys" suspected in the rape of a Rockville High School student. Adolfo Sanchez-Reyes was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Friday after it was discovered he and his rape-suspect son were in the U.S. illegally from Guatemala. An ICE spokesman confirmed that Sanchez-Reyes, 43, is the father of Henry Sanchez-Millian, 18. The younger man and another Rockville High student (17-year-old Jose Montano) have been charged with first-degree rape in the attack on a 14-year-old girl at the school. Sanchez-Millian was taken by the U.S. Border Patrol last August in Texas but benefitted from the Obama administration’s catch-and-release policies for Central American minors. He was sent to live with his father in Maryland, despite Sanchez-Reyes’ illegal status, while his own deportation case is litigated. |
| Texas Woman Bound, Kidnapped After Helping Illegal ImmigrantAn illegal alien tied up a woman and attempted to kidnap her and steal her car after she gave him food and water for three days. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Carrizo Springs Station in South Texas received a call for assistance from the Dimmit County Sheriff’s Office about a woman seen walking along a highway. The woman reportedly had her hands bound with rope. Agents quickly responded, along with sheriff’s deputies, to assist the victim. Agents learned the woman helped an illegal alien she found in her backyard. She provided the man with food and water for three days, information obtained by Breitbart Texas from Del Rio Sector spokesman Dennis Smith revealed. She said that after helping the man survive for three days, he unexpectedly jumped her, tied up her hands and feet, and forced her to get in her car. As the illegal alien attempted to start her car, the woman managed to escape and flee on foot. |

Hispanic suspect Rolando Cardenas,  Gary Breitling, 57, of Sidney, Mont. was the victim killed in the Las Vegas shooting Saturday, according to a family member. Breitling lived in Sidney with his wife Barbara, according to Breitling's daughter's mother-in-law, Wanda Lara. Lara is the mother of Brett Lara who is married to Lisa Lara (nee Breitling) who live in Powell, Wyo. Breitling was with his wife in Las Vegas, according to Lara. Breitling was shot on the double-decker bus and taken to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada where he was pronounced dead at 11:30 a.m. (PDT), according to the Clark County Coroner in Las Vegas. The coroner found the cause of death to be a gun shot wound to the left-side of the chest.A GoFundMe page created for the family also indicated another family member was the other injured victim. A Las Vegas man, identified as Rolando Cardenas, 56, faces charges, according to KSNV in Las Vegas. |

Negro charged Muncie, IN drug related shooting death of White man, 20   MUNCIE – A Muncie man on Friday was formally charged with murder in a Middletown resident’s shooting death. Marcus Darrell “Jefe” Hanyard, 23 – who was already in the Delaware County jail on unrelated charges – was arrested Monday in the Feb. 9 slaying of 20-year-old Zackary Mason Farmer. Authorities allege Hanyard and another man entered an apartment in the 800 block of West Main Street, intending to rob its occupants of drugs and money. Farmer was fatally wounded in an exchange of gunfire in the apartment. On Friday, Chief Deputy Prosecutor Zach Craig charged Hanyard with murder, conspiracy to commit burglary, attempted robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon. An initial hearing is expected to be held Monday in Delaware Circuit Court 5. In Indiana, a murder conviction carries a standard 55-year prison term. The occupant of the apartment where the slaying took place, 20-year-old Isaiah A. Davis, and another Middletown man in the home at the time, Hunter Hess, 19, are each charged with obstruction of justice, false informing, dealing in marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. - (Black-on-white) |

Darkie doper driver arrested after intentionally hitting vehicles while smoking crack - his white doper 'girlfriend' also arrested  SOMERSET TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Sedrick Holman, 44-year-old of Connellsville, was driving westbound on Interstate 70 smoking crack, police said. The crack allegedly made him paranoid and he intentionally hit several vehicles on the interstate before crashing, police said. Holman was arrested for DUI, reckless endangerment and causing or risking a catastrophe. He is now in Washington County Jail. The passenger in the vehicle was 36-year-old Ashley Dills, of Connellsville, police said. She was found in possession of heroin and other drug paraphernalia and was also arrested, according to police. |

It happened before 1 a.m. on March 16. A METRORail spokeswoman said the suspect was harassing a young woman on a train headed south from McGowen station at first, but then turned his attention to the 62-year-old man who boarded the train. The man first verbally, then physically assaulted the victim, authorities said. |
Police Arrest Black Suspect Accused Of Going On Paintball Shooting Spree  PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police have arrested a 21-year old man they believe went on a shooting spree with a paintball gun earlier this month. Police say Kadene Bryant was taken into custody Thursday at his home in East Germantown after being identified as a suspect by Northwest Detectives. On March 7, five people were shot with a paintball gun at various locations by a man who was riding in a white Dodge or Chrysler Mini-van. Four of the shootings took place in Roxborough, and one in Germantown. While most of the injuries suffered were not serious, one of the victims did need six stitches near his left eye. Bryant is now facing five counts each of aggravated assault, simple assault, possessing an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person, and related offenses. |

HMONG Suspect identified in Wausau area shooting spree - killed four Whites in Wisconsin     MADISON, Wis. - The suspect in a Wisconsin shooting spree that left four people dead has been identified, and court records show one of the victims was his wife's divorce lawyer. A person close to the investigation identified the suspect Friday as 45-year old Nengmy Vang. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the person wasn't authorized to speak ahead of authorities officially identifying Vang. Investigators said Vang had a domestic incident with his wife on Wednesday. They are going through a divorce. Vang's older brother said Nengmy Vang had been acting "crazy" since separating from his wife a few years ago. MARKSVILLE, La. — A Louisiana law enforcement officer was convicted Friday on a lesser charge of manslaughter in a shooting that killed a 6-year-old autistic boy, a gruesome encounter captured on tape by another officer's body camera. Jurors found Derrick Stafford (pictured at left) guilty of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter charges, multiple news outlets reported. He had faced charges of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder in the case. Stafford, 33, and another deputy city marshal opened fire on a vehicle — killing Jeremy Mardis and critically wounding his father — after a 2-mile car chase in Marksville on the night of Nov. 3, 2015. Video from a police officer's body camera shows the father, Christopher Few, had his hands raised inside his vehicle while the two deputies collectively fired 18 shots. Black Orangeburg man charged in rape of child under 11 ORANGEBURG, S.C. — An Orangeburg man is in jail after being charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 11. Earl Tucker of Edisto Drive faced a bond court judge Friday and the bond amount was deferred to a circuit court judge. Investigators say the 27-year-old raped the child between 2014 and 2015. The sheriff's office was notified of possible sexual misconduct in December 2016. |
Black father accused of killing newborn, toddler daughters RAEFORD, N.C. -- A North Carolina father was charged Saturday with stabbing his infant and toddler daughters to death, a day after he drove off with them “in a rage.” Tillman Freeman III, 30, of Fayetteville is charged with two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of 4-day-old Genesis Freeman and 2-year-old Serenity Freeman, said Hoke County Sheriff Hubert Peterkin. Their bodies were found about 2 a.m. Saturday in a car that had driven into the woods. Freeman was arrested Friday afternoon after employees at a doctor’s office in Raeford reported a suspicious-looking man standing in front of their building. He was charged with child abuse and child endangerment, but at the time, he refused to say where the children were. The children had been stabbed multiple times with what appears to be a hunting or survivalist-type knife, he said. Freeman accused his wife of cheating on him. |
SC man who bound dog’s muzzle with tape sentenced to 5 years - to run concurrent with 15 year gun charge   CHARLESTON, S.C. — A South Carolina man who wrapped electrical tape around a dog’s muzzle to stop her from barking has been sentenced to five years in prison. Media outlets report William Dodson’s sentence Friday represented the state’s maximum for animal cruelty. However, Dodson’s sentence for mistreating Caitlyn won’t extend his prison time. The 43-year-old North Charleston man was sentenced a day earlier in federal court to 15 years on a gun charge stemming from a traffic stop months before Caitlyn was found in spring 2015. Under a plea agreement, the two sentences will run simultaneously. “I wish I could give you more,” Judge Markley Dennis told Dodson in court Friday. |

A grand jury, however, decided the following day, to indict him on those charges, as well as a criminal street activity charge. “What this means now is these charges that were alleged against him by the police have been formalized against him by the grand jury,” Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said Friday afternoon. To show solidarity, she and the other women in his home received matching tattoos on their wrists—also pledging allegiance and homage to the gang that Roberts is affiliated with, the Gangster Disciples. “He made us get tattoos,” one of his former sex slaves said, not wanting to get the ink. |

Joshua Christopher Williams, 29, of Spotsylvania has been formally indicted for First Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. Jonathan Julian Vejarano, 28, of Spotsylvania was also charged with First Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Joshua Christopher Williams was due in court Friday for an incident back May. He allegedly abducted his son after badly beating his ex-girlfriend. A Jackson County Circuit Court jury -- comprised of George County residents -- took right at two hours Wednesday evening to find May guilty of two counts of aggravated assault -- one for striking her causing serious bodily injury, one for strangling her -- one count of sexual assault and one count of kidnapping.May, now 26, was arrested in October 2015 in Florida after fleeing Ocean Springs immediately following the attack on Barbi Jalanivich in her office at The Dominion Apartments in Ocean Springs, where she was the manager, on Sept. 10, 2015. The assault left her with a broken jaw, torn ear, a brain hemorrhage, and numerous cuts, bruises and abrasions, as well as redness and injury to her vaginal area, May attempted to explain his interest in what he called "demonology" and how he was compelled to carry out an "evil act to become a god." |

Two Worthless Cowardly Blacks Arrested for shooting (White) teen in the back during robbery  HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point police and the U.S. Marshal's Violent Fugitive Task Force have arrested two men in connection with the death of 18-year-old Brandon Burrow. Billy Ingram, Jr., 41, and Brian O'Neal Davis, 35, are both charged with murder. Davis was also served with several other drug-related warrants that are unrelated to Burrow's murder. Both men are being held in the Guilford County Jail without bail. Burrow was shot at the Motel 6 on Cloverleaf Place in High Point on Tuesday morning. He died later that afternoon. (Black) Teen arrested in fatal shooting (of White man) outside downtown Little Rock detail shop    A 19-year-old man from North Little Rock was arrested Thursday on charges tied to a shooting that left a man dead outside a detail shop in downtown Little Rock last year, police said. Corey Williams Jr. was arrested on charges of capital murder, aggravated robbery and first-degree battery. Around 1 a.m., a North Little Rock officer pulled over a silver Chevrolet Malibu that Williams was driving because the vehicle had a taillight out. The officer reportedly checked Williams' name and saw he had warrants out for his arrest. Williams has been "identified as the person involved" in the killing of 47-year-old Harvel "Todd" Sieber on Nov. 15, 2016, according to a Little Rock police report. The shop's owner, 75-year-old Mitchell Hines of Little Rock, was nearby with a wound in his right leg, police said. Hines, who was treated at the hospital, told police he was working on a vehicle when he was approached by a short-haired, heavyset black woman who asked to use the restroom. When Hines called for an employee, the woman reached to her left side, pulled out a gun and started shooting, Hines told police. Sieber got out of his vehicle, tried to return fire and knocked the gun out of the woman's hand but she was able to recover it, Hines told police. A witness to the shooting told police he saw a black male and a black female exit a four-door Scion parked nearby and walk toward the detail shop, authorities said. The witness also told police he saw two people in that car when he heard gunfire, and that vehicle drove toward the shop. White father loses leg during negro home invasion, Indy PD release sketch of poofy haired spook   INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A father of three lost his leg during a violent home invasion. Police released a sketch of the suspect and are asking the public for help catching him. Back in August, an intruder broke into Miles Vanjelgerhuis’s home through a back door while his family was sleeping. Vanjelgerhuis said that when he heard a noise, he grabbed his gun and then within minutes came face to face with the intruder. “(We) fought back and forth in the kitchen, ended up, gun shot went off, (he) shot me in my left leg, just blew it to pieces,” said Miles Vanjelgerhuis. Weeks after the attack, doctors amputated Vanjelgerhuis’s left leg.The Army veteran has had to learn to lean on others for help. “It’s hard to dress yourself, it’s hard to use the bathroom, just everything. A lot of times it is easier to crawl around than hop around,” he said. Since the attack, the Franklin Township family has had to deal with daily changes, but for the suspect nothing changed. “It’s just frustrating. I’m obviously permanently damaged because of it, I guess you could say, but he’s out doing whatever he wants and it’s just kind of pissed me off,” Vanjelgerhuis said. Detectives believe the intruder and two other men cased the house before the break-in and Vanjelgerhuis is certain he talked to them. “I just asked them what they were doing in my backyard and they said ‘We are just looking around.’ Yeah, I don’t think so, not in my backyard, get out of here,” he recalled. Vanjelgerhuis is confident police will catch the guy and he’s grateful he and his family are alive. “It could’ve gone a lot worse and potentially killed me and then potentially killed them as well, you don’t know.” The suspect is described as 30 years old, 6’3”, 225 lbs, with dark complexion and "short poofy hair." - (Black-on-white) |

McKinnon was Foxx’s boyfriend and roommate. McKinnon is being held the Cumberland County Jail to remain without bond until his first appearance in court on March 27. Law enforcement officers were at the Carolina Sands Mobile Home Park around 8:15 a.m. Jennifer Foxx, 34, was found in a pool of blood. Hmong gunman kills four white people in Wisconsin    Information is finally coming out about the perpetrator of a spree killing in a rural, mostly white part of central Wisconsin. The shooter’s name is Nengmy Vang. The media is calling the shooting “domestic violence related.” However, he did not kill his wife. He killed his wife’s white divorce lawyer and three other unrelated white people. One of the victims is a police officer. Vang was wounded by police and is in the hospital under guard. The Hmong were featured in the hit movie Gran Torino. While most East Asians have very low crime rates, Hmong tend to have much higher rates. Long Island wetback charged in sex assault of toddler, 2 stabbings was deported 4 times - SEND THEM ALL BACK HEMPSTEAD, Long Island -- Police have arrested a Long Island man who has been previously deported multiple times in connection with the sexual assault of a toddler and the stabbings of a woman outside a bar and the child's mother on the same night. Nassau County police say 31-year-old Tommy Vladim Alvarado-Ventura, was home with the 2-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son of an acquaintance, as well as another tenant who was watching the children while their mother was at work. Authorities say the 2-year-old was heard crying as he left the residence at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, before apparently heading to El Mariachi Loco bar on Fulton Avenue. There, he allegedly got into a fight around 2:20 a.m. that police say was unprovoked and with a female he did not know. The 24-year-old woman with whom he was fighting reportedly tried to leave the bar, but police said he began punching and kicking her in the parking lot before stabbing her multiple times and slicing the inside of her mouth. Alvarado-Ventura allegedly fled, while the victim was rushed to the hospital with a collapsed lung. After Alvarado-Ventura returned to the home, at 4:15 a.m., he and the acquaintance argued after police said the woman noticed severe injuries on her 2-year-old. |
(Black) Man charged in stabbing death of (white) girlfriend’s (White) father found not guilty by reason of insanity  RICHMOND, Va. — A homicide suspect who was charged with stabbing his girlfriend’s father to death was found not guilty by reason of insanity in court on Thursday. Nigel Walker, who was facing charges of murder in the first degree and stabbing in the commission of a felony, was accused of killing 55-year-old Brian E. Szabo, a Richmond bank executive and the father of a woman Walker was in a relationship with. The incident occurred inside the victim’s home in the 100 block of Westmoreland Street. It is believed Szabo’s wife and daughter were inside the house when the crime occurred. Detectives have said that they believe the incident stemmed from an argument between the victim and Walker, who fled the house after the confrontation. A few hours later, around 5 a.m., Walker returned to the scene and surrendered to officers. The sheriff says its a complicated case - the body of 31 year old white female found in back room - black man charged with murder  LASALLE PARISH, La. - McIntyre street might be quiet on Monday, but on Friday evening the Lasalle Parish Sheriff's Office says this home was surrounded by law enforcement. "My 911 center received a call from a person stating that her sister was being held at gunpoint at a residence in the Goodpine community," says Sheriff Scott Franklin. But Franklin says when the officers arrived no one would answer the door. "Of course in a situation like that you just don't kick the door in and run in you don't know what you are running into and so we were able to get his pastor and his brother there and they were able to get him to the door," says Franklin. That man who was inside the home was 66-year-old Melvin Gardner. From there deputies were able to search the house. "A subsequent search of the house revealed Jamie Bates 31 year old white female was already deceased in one of his backrooms," says Franklin. He says the two knew each other and Bates would stay at his place off and on. "No indication to what the cause is for the most part Mr. Gardner was a quiet man that we really didn't ever have any dealings with he kind of kept to himself," says Franklin. ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A New Jersey man is accused of killing seven people, some of whom died during a wild robbery and murder spree over the weekend in Pennsylvania, according to officials. Police arrested Elizabeth man Todd West, 22, and charged him with seven counts of murder and multiple weapons charges. Prosecutor Grace Park called the killing spree “unprecedented.” 
The NYPD identified the crooner as Damond Hood, 41, and said he had been busted 15 times since 1999, most recently in February for trespassing inside a nearby 7-Eleven store. He was also hauled off to the hospital for acting out on March 1 and March 8, cops said. Residents say Hood’s foulmouthed repertoire keeps them from getting any shuteye and has left them at their wits’ end. 
Across the U.S., there are over 300 cities, counties, and states that are considered "sanctuary cities". These jurisdiction protect criminal aliens from deportation by refusing to comply with ICE detainers or otherwise impede open communication and information exchanges between their employees or officers and federal immigration agents. 
Federal agents trying to deport illegal-immigrant criminals are hitting a new roadblock in New York City — crafty defense lawyers who will put their clients in jail to keep them in the country. A Legal Aid lawyer took the extreme measure in The Bronx Thursday, when she claimed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent was waiting for her client and begged a judge to lock up the suspect. The rookie judge — a Mayor de Blasio appointee — complied, setting $3,000 bail even though the defendant had been free for the six months since his arrest. “I can’t believe this — every day Legal Aid is asking for no bail” for their clients, one insider told The Post. “And now they’re asking for bail because even going to Rikers is better than being deported.” Lawyers are also advising clients not to post even the lowest of bails so that they’ll go to Rikers Island rather than into the waiting arms of ICE agents, sources said. The city last year evicted ICE from its offices at the jail as part of de Blasio’s “Sanctuary City” reforms — and no longer turn over many criminals who have detainer requests. Hizzoner’s stance has led defense lawyers to ask judges to sentence their clients to just under a year in jail, so that they’ll remain in city custody rather than go into the state prison system. “It’s a shame, to go that far to protect someone,” one federal source complained.
One person was killed and two others hurt early Monday when a tractor trailer operated by an alleged drunken driver slammed into their car near the George Washington Bridge and fled, officials said. The car was struck by the truck, which shredded the vehicle to bits and left the wreckage crushed up against a divider.

WARREN, Ohio – Former Hubbard, Ohio mayor Richard Keenan, who now admits to raping a young child, is facing life behind bars. He was visibly shaken Friday as he changed his plea to guilty on 20 counts of sex crimes, including eight counts of rape. Keenan agreed to a life sentence with the eligibility of parole after ten years. According to court documents, the abuse began as early as September 2013 when the victim — who Keenan knew —
