(Hispanic) Man to die Wednesday in brutal killing of (White) Dallas cop
  A man who killed a Dallas cop 14 years ago is scheduled to die for the crime Wednesday. Licho Escamilla, 33, killed Kevin James on Nov. 25, 2001, outside a Dallas nightclub. James, 34, was working off-duty security at the club. He had just gotten married the month before his death. Retired Dallas police Maj. Scott Bratcher, who was James’ supervisor and friend, and a few other Dallas officers will make the trek to Huntsville for the execution. Escamilla’s death warrant is effective at 6 p.m. “It’s way overdue for him to be executed,” Bratcher said. James became a Dallas cop in 1995. But when James, who aspired to buy his new wife a home, was working an off-duty job, he encountered Escamilla, a 19-year-old laborer. Just three weeks earlier, a warrant had been issued for Escamilla, a known gang member, in the shooting death of a West Dallas neighbor. James and another officer ran to Escamilla’s aid to keep other men from attacking him. Instead, Escamilla shot James’ arm and gun first. He hit the other officer in the hand. Both were in uniform. Then, while James lay on the pavement, Escamilla walked up and shot James three times in the head. A jury took only 33 minutes to convict Escamilla of capital murder in James’ slaying. After the jury sentenced him to death, Escamilla threw a pitcher of water at the jury. “He is evil, and we need to do everything we can to protect society from people like that.”Dallas Police Association vice president Frederick Frazier called Escamilla “an animal” who “doesn’t deserve to share the same air we do.”

A suburban Philadelphia cabdriver is facing charges this weekend after authorities say he shot his boss during a dispute over money on Friday. Ozzie Lou Clark, 45, was in Abington Township on Saturday facing charges. Police say Clark felt he was owed money by the cab company he worked for, the Montco Suburban Taxi Company, and got into a dispute with company supervisor Alex Kagan over the debt Friday afternoon. During that dispute, police said, Clark pulled a gun and shot Kagan, and then wouldn't allow anyone to call an ambulance until someone cut him a check. Kagan, who was shot in his side, was recovering at Abington Memorial Hospital on Saturday. Officials said the father of three was in stable condition. - (Black-on-white)

OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI – Police have arrested two Kalamazoo men who they say took part in a break-in in Oshtemo Township that led to a 22-year-old woman being kidnapped and sexually assaulted. Investigators said the incident began after the woman allowed Jamaal Gevon Conger, a man she knew through mutual friends, into her apartment. Police allege that while the woman was in her bedroom, Conger opened the bedroom door and entered with Tyrell Lamar Sheppard and both men then forced the woman at gunpoint to stay in her bedroom while items were taken from her apartment. Later, investigators allege Sheppard forced the woman to her vehicle "where she was driven from the area and sexually assaulted." 
Fall River police are searching for more possible victims of a man who was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a female. 26 year old McKenzy F. Blanc was arrested after a female came forward saying he exposed himself to her. Authorities are worried there may have been other victims in the Fall River area. Blanc may have used the name Marcus.
