• Germany beefs up anti-Nazi laws
  Germany's parliament has tightened restrictions on neo-Nazi marches to keep them away from sensitive memorials such as former concentration camps. Last month, thousands of neo-Nazis marched through Dresden on the 60th anniversary of the allied bombing of the city. On Thursday, Germany's highest court upheld a ruling that a neo-Nazi rock band was a criminal organisation whose songs spread racial hatred.
• Calif. taxpayers must pay millions in Holocaust case
  Taxpayers are on the hook for what could be millions of dollars in legal fees owed to insurance companies that successfully challenged a state law requiring them to make public their overseas, Holocaust-era records. California taxpayers might have to pay from $5 million to $10 million. The Bush administration argued, and a divided Supreme Court agreed, the law amounted to unconstitutional meddling in foreign affairs by a state.

Badat, 25, of St James Street, Gloucester, conspired with fellow "Briton" Richard Reid and a Belgian terrorist to make the bomb. He trained as a suicide bomber but later backed out of the plot. Badat will be sentenced on 18 March.

  When she got off the bus he approached the girl and then dragged her into a nearby alleyway and raped her.

  Fateh Kamel, 44, arrived in Montreal on Jan. 29 aboard an Air France flight, the CBC has confirmed. France convicted him in 2001 of "participating in a criminal association for the purposes of preparing acts of terrorism" and supplying fraudulent passports to militants. - (NNN Canada)

  A VICIOUS pervert raped a 14-year-old girl just four months after he was released early from prison. Intikhab Alam, 33, was let out after serving five years and seven months of a nine-year jail term for robbing call girls. He attacked the girl after luring her to his home. Days after the rape, he mugged two old women.
• UK: North London 'rape' attacks by Turkish migrant
  Detectives investigating serious sexual assaults on two women in Edmonton are trying to trace a 31-year-old Turkish man Haci Tasan.
  Tasan is described as being of Turkish/Kurdish appearance, with dark brown hair and of slim build. It is also thought that he may have a glass eye.

  A serial sex attacker who raped a teenage girl while she was on the phone to police pleading for help is facing years behind bars.
