Stephon Martin Morson, 19, was released from the Travis County Jail in Austin, Texas, on Saturday after he posted bail. Morson is accused in the shooting death of 20-year-old Keshawn Cage, who police found with a gunshot wound to the head back in October. The Travis County Jail told Fox News Digital that Morson was booked on Nov. 6, 2024, and charged with murder and tamper/fabricate physical evidence. |

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A Shelby County man was found guilty of raping two young girls, the district attorney’s office announced Thursday.
JP Burrow is guilty of raping two girls between the ages of 6 and 13.
He was convicted on charges of rape of a child, aggravated sexual battery and sexual battery by an authority figure. Burrow took the stand in the three-day trial, which came years after his 2021 arrest. Burrow is set to be sentenced on March 21. University of Houston students protested Wednesday amid a campus crime wave, following reports that a man accused of sexually assaulting and robbing a woman on campus was released shortly after his arrest, prompting police to now look for him.
Eric Latroy Brown, 40, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon after he allegedly approached a woman in a parking garage on UH's campus and sexually assaulted her in her car at knifepoint on Feb. 7 around 5:30 p.m. On Feb. 8, the UH Police Department announced Brown's arrest, saying in a news alert that "an individual who matches the description of the assailant in yesterday’s sexual assault is in custody" after officers arrested him "near the scene" on Feb. 7. BLACK Alabama death row inmate Demetrius Frazier's final words revealed as he's executed for 1991 murder
A convicted murderer and rapist was executed by nitrogen gas on Thursday — 14 years after he was transferred to Alabama while serving a life sentence in Michigan for a separate murder.
Demetrius Frazier became the fourth inmate in the US to be put to death by the method as he served his sentence for the 1991 murder of Pauline Brown at the Holman Correctional Facility. Frazier, 52, was convicted of capital murder for breaking into Pauline Brown’s Birmingham apartment and raping her at gunpoint before killing her when he was 19. In his last moments on Earth, he attempted to atone for his crime of killing Brown. “I want to apologize to the family and friends of Pauline Brown,” he said. “What happened to her should have never happened.” Frazier also appeared to call out Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer as he waited to be executed, saying, “If you cannot stand up for the constitution of Michigan, how are you going to stand up for the US Constitution when you run for president?” according to the Montgomery Advertiser. His final words were: “Detroit strong. I love everyone on Death Row. Let’s go.” Frazier’s mask was then closed, and the gas began flowing at 6:13 p.m. He had no visible movement by about eight minutes later, and the curtains to the execution chamber closed at 6:29 p.m. He was officially pronounced dead at 6:36 p.m. Frazier confessed to murder after he was arrested in his home state of Michigan for killing 14-year-old Crystal Kendrick in 1992 — a year after killing Brown. During his trial, prosecutors said Frazier robbed Brown, 41, after he sexually assaulted her. He then shot Brown in the head when she only had $80 to give him. Frazier returned to her apartment later to look for money and had a snack from her kitchen while Brown lay dead on the floor for hours. |

An angry Ohio dad has called his son’s killer the “scum of the earth” after confronting him in court.
Rob Healey laid into Anjuan Marion, 18, after he pleaded guilty to manslaughter in relation to Ryan Jacob Healey’s death in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati. Marion admitted shooting the 25-year-old bartender in the chest from a vehicle in April 2023. While Ryan lay critically injured on the ground close to his home, an unknown person also bent down and stole his wallet. Marion, who was 16 at the time of the fatal shooting but has since turned 18, also pleaded guilty to gun charges in a separate shooting that happened months later in Ziegler Park, according to the Cincinnati Inquirer. He did not tell the court the reason for his actions, simply saying: “I want to say I'm sorry” in a brief statement. Steven Lawayne Nelson was condemned for the 2011 killing of Rev. Clint Dobson, 28, who was beaten, strangled and suffocated with a plastic bag inside NorthPointe Baptist Church in Arlington. Dobson’s secretary also was severely beaten and left for dead, but she survived. Nelson, 37, is scheduled to receive a lethal injection Wednesday evening at the state penitentiary in Huntsville. Nelson would be the first Texas death row inmate executed since Robert Roberson’s Oct. 17, 2024, execution date was delayed in what would have been the first in the U.S. tied to a diagnosis of shaken baby syndrome, and the first of four scheduled in Texas over the next three months. Ohio: (Black) Suspect apprehended after deadly shooting at manufacturing facility
A man suspected of killing one person and injuring five others in a shooting at an Ohio manufacturing facility has been apprehended following an overnight manhunt, police said Wednesday. New Albany police said they responded to an active shooter report at a New Albany facility run by KDC/One, a beauty products manufacturer, around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. One victim was found dead inside the building and five others were hospitalized in unknown conditions, police said. About 150 employees were safely evacuated, police said. Trump admin rounds up 5,500 criminal migrants in less than a week — here are some of the worst
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has rounded up more than 5,500 criminal migrants in less than a week, notching an early milestone in President Trump’s promised clampdown on illegal immigration. The arrests were the result of scores of coordinated raids around the country, which saw some of the very worst violent offenders clapped in irons after freely roaming the country under the Biden administration. Those busts included dozens of members of the vicious Venezuelan Tren de Aragua prison gang — as well as multiple MS-13 gang members — at least five “career criminals” nabbed by the Drug Enforcement Administration and scores of others wanted for murder, kidnapping, child molestation and more. ICE has shared daily “enforcement updates” on X since Jan. 23, outlining their daily arrest totals, as well as detainers lodged — formal requests for inmates to be held until they can be picked up by immigration officials. Through Tuesday, officials made 5,537 arrests and lodged 4,333 detainers, giving authorities a running start in what is shaping up to be a lengthy and resource-intensive enforcement effort. LOUISVILLE, Ky. A Kentucky man who shot at Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg when he was a candidate in 2022 was sentenced Friday to 17 years and 6 months in federal prison after a tense sentencing hearing where Greenberg spoke of the harm the attack has caused.
Quintez Brown was arrested shortly after leaving Greenberg’s campaign office, where one of his six shots grazed Greenberg’s sweater. Four other staffers were in the room with Greenberg, and one of them rushed to close the door on Brown after he fired. Greenberg, who was elected mayor later that year, said in court Friday that he saw a man he didn’t recognize come to the door of his campaign headquarters, and when a staffer tried to engage the man in conversation, “I saw a gun pointed directly at me and I’ll never forget the sound of those gunshots fired,” Greenberg told the court. Greenberg said in the ensuing days, he felt “fear and confusion that made me physically numb for days.” Brown, 24, pleaded guilty in July to federal charges of interfering with a federally protected activity and discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence. The plea agreement called for a sentencing range of 15 to nearly 18 years. US District Judge Benjamin Beaton said Brown’s attack was premeditated and was a threat to the community’s political system. He ordered Brown to be on supervised release for five years after he is out of prison. |

But when Florida mom Megan Hiatt, 22, decided to end her abusive relationship back on Nov. 13, 2015, she never imagined her ex, Gawain Rushane Wilson, would grab his AR-15 and fire several shots as she cradled their 5-month-old twin daughters, Hayden Rose and Kayden Reese, in her arms. By the time he was done, Wilson, 28, killed both girls, Hiatt’s father and himself. Hiatt was shot seven times. Bullets struck her chest and abdomen. Her lungs and kidneys were the only organs not pierced. The gunfire hit her left wrist and shattered her left leg and knee. She lost her left eye and was unable to walk. Hiatt had packed her things ready to leave Wilson for good on that tragic day. A close friend and her dad, Travis James Hiatt, 49, stood outside Wilson’s Jacksonville home to provide support. She was discussing a co-parenting plan with him when he “started shaking physically” and became “visibly distraught.” “We were on the couch; he had Reese, I had Rose, and we were feeding them bottles,” she said. “My things were packed into a truck outside, and he flew into a rage.” “He asked, ‘Are we over?’ “Yes,” she replied. “Are you sure we’re over?” ‘We’re not meant to be in a relationship together,'” she said. Wilson stood up, “threw Reese on the couch,” and went to the closet where he kept his firearms. “He told me, ‘I am going to murder your dad, and you’re going to watch. I’ll show what’s over, bitch.'” When he heard Hiatt scream, her father came barreling through the front door. Wilson opened fire. Over and over, Hiatt’s fearless father was downed by bullets, yet continued to push himself back up. Wilson, who was an engine mechanic for the Navy, then turned the weapon toward Hiatt and the girls. “At this point, I know we’re going to die,” she said. “What am I going to do battling an AR-15? What was supposed to be a day of joy turned to terror and heartbreak when Axel Rudakubana, armed with a knife, intruded and began stabbing the girls and their teacher in the seaside town of Southport in northwest England. He pleaded guilty to murdering Alice Dasilva Aguiar, 9, Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, and Bebe King, 6. Eight other girls, ranging in age from 7 to 13, were wounded, along with instructor Leanne Lucas and Jonathan Hayes, who worked in a business next door and intervened. Fifteen other girls, as young as 5, were at the class but uninjured. Under a court order, none of the surviving girls can be named. The main division in the word of God is between the prophetic kingdom program of Israel (concerns that which was spoken by the prophets since the world began, Acts 3:21) and the mystery program of the Body of Christ (concerns that which was kept secret since the world began until it was revealed through the apostle Paul, Rom. 16:25).
